Algemeen
Dit is de montage-instructie voor de op de voorzijde
aangegeven Novy afzuigkap. De gebruiksaanwijzing is
een apart boekje dat met het apparaat is meegeleverd.
Lees deze instructies goed door, voor de installatie en
ingebruikname van het apparaat.
In deze montage instructie wordt gewerkt met een
aantal symbolen. Hieronder vindt u de betekenis van
deze symbolen.

Veiligheid
Neem volgende montage- en veiligheidstips in acht
voor montage:
• De installatie en de elektrische aansluiting van het
toestel dienen aan een erkende vakman toevertrouwd
te worden.
• De fabrikant kan niet verantwoordelijk gesteld worden
voor eventuele schade voortkomend uit een foutieve
inbouw of aansluiting.
• Controleer aan de hand van de tekening op pagina 4
of alle montagematerialen meegeleverd zijn.
• Het apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor huishoudelijk
gebruik (bereiding van voedingsmiddelen) met
uitsluiting van alle ander huishoudelijk, commercieel
of industrieel gebruik.
• De veiligheid wordt enkel verzekerd wanneer het
apparaat volgens de vereiste voorschriften op een
aardleiding is aangesloten.
• Gebruik geen verlengkabel voor de aansluiting op het
elektrische net.
• Defecte of beschadigde onderdelen mogen alleen
door originele Novy onderdelen worden vervangen.
Belangrijk voordat u gaat monteren
Op pagina 4 van deze montage-instructie vindt u de
montage tekeningen. Voordat u gaat monteren, neem
de volgende montage tips in acht:
• Voor het eenvoudiger monteren van de afzuigkap
wordt aangeraden dit met minimaal 2 bevoegde
personen uit te voeren.
• De kast van het in te bouwen toestel is voorzien van
de juiste afmetingen.

service l’appareil.

de l’appareil doivent être conés à un professionnel

• Le fabricant ne peut être tenu responsable de dom-
mages éventuels, résultant d’un montage ou d’un
raccordement incorrects.
• Vériez, en vous référant au dessin de la page 4, si
tout le matériel de montage a été livré.
• L’appareil est uniquement destiné à l’usage domes-
tique (préparation d’aliments) à l’exclusion de tout
autre usage domestique, commercial ou industriel.
• La sécurité n’est garantie que lorsque l’appareil a été
branché à une prise de terre conformément les pres-
criptions exigées.
• N’utilisez pas de rallonge pour le raccordement au
réseau électrique.
• Les pièces défectueuses ou endommagées ne
peuvent être remplacées que par des pièces d’origine
Novy.
Important ! Avant de commencer le montage
Vous trouverez les dessins de montage en page 4 de
ces instructions de montage. Avant de commencer le
montage, suivez les conseils de montage suivants :
• Pour faciliter le montage de la hotte, il est conseillé de
procéder au moins à 2 personnes.
• Vériez que le meuble dispose de dimensions adap-
tées à l’appareil.

genannte Novy Gerät. Die Gebrauchsanleitung ist
ein separates Heft, das im Lieferumfang des Geräts
enthalten ist. Lesen Sie sich diese Anleitung vor der
Installation und Inbetriebnahme des Geräts sorgfältig
durch.
Diese Montageanleitung enthält eine Reihe von
Symbolen, deren Bedeutung im Folgenden erläutert
wird.

oder industriellen Nutzungen vorgesehen.
• Sicherheit ist nur gewährleistet, wenn das Gerät
gemäß den relevanten Vorschriften an eine Erdleitung
angeschlossen ist.
• Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel für den
Anschluss an das Stromnetz.
• Fehlerhafte oder beschädigte Teile dürfen nur durch
Originalteile von Novy ersetzt werden.
Wichtige vor der Montage zu beachtende Punkte
Auf Seite 4 dieser Montageanleitung nden Sie die
Montagezeichnungen. Bitte lesen Sie sich die folgenden
Hinweise durch, bevor Sie mit der Montage beginnen:
• Der Dunstabzug lässt sich einfacher montieren, wenn
mindestens zwei Personen die Arbeiten durchführen.
• Der Schrank für das einzubauende Gerät hat die
korrekten Abmessungen.
GENERAL INFORMATION
General
These are the mounting instructions for the Novy hood
shown on the cover. The user manual is a separate
booklet that is supplied with the hood. Carefully read
these instructions before installing and commissioning
the hood.
A number of symbols are used in these mounting in-
structions. The meanings of these symbols are given
below.

Observe the following mounting and safety tips for
mounting:
• The installation and electrical connection of the unit
shall be carried out by an authorised expert.
• The manufacturer does not accept any responsibil-
ity for any damage resulting from faulty building in or
connection.
• Check if all mounting materials have been supplied
using the drawings on page 4.
• The unit is intended for household use only (prepara-
tion of food) excluding any other domestic, commer-
cial or industrial use.
• Safety can only be guaranteed if the unit is connected
to an earth wire in accordance with the required regu-
lations.
• Do not use an extension cord for connecting to the
electricity grid.
• Replace defective or damaged parts only with original
Novy parts.
Important before mounting
Page 4 of these mounting instructions shows the mount-
ing drawings. Observe the following mounting tips be-
fore starting the mounting activities:
• For easier mounting of the hood it is recommended to
do this with at least 2 persons.
• The housing of the unit to be mounted has the right
dimensions.

Quand hauteur meuble bas + plan de travail
< 760mm, une découpe supplémentaire doit être
effectuée dans le bas du meuble pour installer
la hotte.
Pour installer la hotte, le kit 1821.400 peut être
utilisé.

Einbauhöhe G < 760 mm: Bei Höhe Schrank
+ Arbeitsplatte <760 mm muss ein großer
Ausschnitt im Korpusboden zum Einsetzen des
Dunstabzugs für Bodenmontage vorgenommen
werden.
Zur Installation der Dunstabzugs kann der
Bausatz 1821.400 (Fußverlängerungen)
verwendet werden.

performed to install the cooker hood.
To install the cooker hood kit 1821.400 can be

Meet de hoogte links (Y1) en rechts (Y2) vanaf
de bodemplaat tot steunvlak voor het glas van
de kookplaat.
Opbouw (L) = Bovenvlak werkblad.

vanaf het bovenvlak van de afzuigkap tot de
onderkant van de stelvoeten.

maat bochtstuk).

Zet de positie van de stelvoeten vast met de
contramoer.

Meet de hoogte (Q) vanaf de bodemplaat tot de
grondpositie kanaalwerk.

Zaag het bochtstuk af op de maat X = V + Q.

de afzuigkap.

the hob base plate to the supporting surface.
Surface mount (L) = Top worktop surface.
Flush mount supporting (R) = Milled edge in
worktop.

Set the height (Y) with the levelling feet, meas-
ure from the top surface of the hood to the un-
derside of the levelling feet.
Measure the height (V) from the underside of
the hood to the underside of the levelling feet
(needed for vertical bend).

Secure the levelling feet with the wrench 17.

Measure the height (Q) from the base plate to
the ground position.

Cut the vertical bend to size X = V + Q.

Slide the vertical bend into the outlet piece below
the hood.

Waarschuwing: deze actie wordt het best
met 2 personen uitgevoerd.
Hef de afzuigkap via de uitsparing van het
werkblad in de kast.

Plaats de positioneer-hulpstukken (1821135)
tussen de uitsparing van het werkblad en de
afzuigkap.
Positoneer de zij- en achterkant van de afzuigkap
tegen deze beide hulpstukken.

Zet de regelschroef in het midden van zijn bereik
om het jnafstellen van de afzuigkap later nog
mogelijk te maken.

Schuif de geleidingen van de afzuigkap volledig
tegen de zijwand van de kast.
Schuif de bevestigingsbeugels tussen de bout
en borgmoer van de geleiding tot deze in het
center van de sleuf zitten.
Schroef deze positie vast met de bijgeleverde
schroeven n° 1821153.
Voer deze actie zowel links als rechts uit.

la vis sur la glissière de xation.

les charnières de xation entre le boulon et le
contre-ecrou au centre de la fente.
Fixez à gauche et à droite à l’aide des vis
n°1821153 fournies.

Platzieren Sie die Positionierhilfen (1821135)
zwischen dem Ausschnitt der Arbeitsplatte und
dem Dunstabzug.
Positionieren Sie den Dunstabzug so, dass die-
ser mit der Seitenwand und mit der Rückseite an
diesen beiden Positionierhilfen anliegt.

Drehen Sie die Schraube, versehen mit einer
Kontermutter, in beide Führungen. Stellen Sie
die Schraube in die Mitte ihres Bereichs, damit
später noch eine Feineinstellung des Dunstab-
zugs möglich ist.

Schieben Sie die Führungen des Dunstabzugs
vollständig gegen die Seitenwand des Schranks.
Schieben Sie die Halterungen zwischen Schrau-
be und Kontermutter der Führung, bis sie sich in
der Mitte des Schlitzes bendet.
Fixieren Sie sie mit den mitgelieferten Schrau-
ben Nr. 1821153 in dieser Position.
Führen Sie diesen Schritt sowohl links als auch
rechts durch.

and secure this position.

Warning: hold the hood only at the outside
to prevent the glass breaking.
Warning: this activity is best done by 2
people.
Lift the hood through the work top cut-out in the
housing.

Place the positioning guides (1821135) between
the worktop cut-out and the hood.
Position the side and rear edge of the hood
against these two guides.

Set the bolt to the centre of its range to make ne
adjustment of the hood possible later.

Slide the hood guides fully against the side wall
of the housing.
Slide the mounting brackets between the bolt
and the lock nut of the guide until they are in the
centre of the groove.
Secure this position with the screws supplied
No. 1821153.
Perform this action on both the left and right.

speling zit tussen de afzuigkap en de positioneer

Les pièces de positionnement doivent avoir un
jeu minimum entre le trou du plan de travail et la
hotte.

Die Positionierhilfen müssen sich mit minimalem
Spiel zwischen dem Ausschnitt der Arbeitsplatte
und dem Dunstabzug benden.

Entfernen Sie die Positionierhilfen.

Level the hood at both the left and right by mov-
ing it forwards or backwards at the bottom.
Use a short spirit level (≤ 30cm) and place this
on the marked places.

Secure the position of both levelling feet in the
housing with the plates n° 1821043 and screws
n° 1821153.

Adjust the position as necessary with the adjust-
ing bolts on the guides.
The positioning guides must be positioned with
minimal clearance between the worktop cut-out
and the hood.

Remove the positioning guides.

Waarschuwing: Voer onderstaande actie
zorgvuldig uit om glasbreuk te voorkomen.
Controleer de hoogte van de afzuigkap met een
regel, deze MOET net even hoog liggen met het
werkblad (opbouw) of de freesrand (vlakbouw).
Regel de hoogte indien nodig bij met de stelvoeten

Breng de waterdichte tape aan op 2mm op de
onderkant van het glas van de kookplaat.

Waarschuwing: Breng geen voegaf dich-
tingsmiddel aan tussen de kookplaat en
werkblad.
Plaats de inductie kookplaat op de afzuigkap,
zorg ervoor de dat de opening van het glas mooi
gecentreerd is met de zijproelen van de toren in
de afzuigkap.

Plaats het bovenste glas voorzichtig in de
voorziene uitsparingen van de afzuigkap.
Waarschuwing: voer bovenstaande han-
de ling voorzichtig uit om glasschade en
krassen te voorkomen.

OPBOUW: Schuif met de kookplaat totdat de
opening rond het bovenste glas van de toren
gelijk is met de uitsparing van de kookplaat.
VLAKBOUW: Pas de positie (voor, achter, links
en rechts) van de afzuikap aan totdat de opening
rond het bovenste glas van de toren gelijk is met
de uitsparing van de kookplaat (zie stap 18, 21).

Zet de positie van de kookplaat vast op de
afzuigkap met de 4 schroeven n° 906258.
Waarschuwing: Draai deze bouten enkel
handvast aan.

Avertissement : Effectuez soigneusement

verre.
Contrôlez avec un niveau an que la hotte SOIT
à la même hauteur que le plan de travail (pose
standard) ou le bord de fraisage (afeurant) pour
éviter de briser le verre de la table de cuisson
Ajustez au besoin les pieds de réglage

Collez le joint d’étanchéité à 2mm du bord.

Avertissement : N’utilisez pas de mastic de
joint entre la plaque de cuisson et le plan de
travail.
Placez la plaque de cuisson à induction sur la
hotte aspirante en centrant le trou sur la hotte.

Placez le verre supérieur.
Avertissement : soyez prudent en exécutant
cette action an de prévenir des dommages
du verre et des rayures.

Pose standard: Positionnez la plaque de cuis-
son complètement pour que l’ouverture entre le
verre de la plaque de cuisson et le verre de la tour
soit uniforme.
Pose afeurante: Positionnez la hotte complè-
tement pour que l’ouverture entre le verre de la
plaque de cuisson et le verre de la tour soit uni-
forme (étape 18,21)

Fixez la table de cuisson à la hotte avec les 4 vis
n° 906258.
Avertissement : Serrez les boulons manuel-
lement, n’utilisez pas de visseuse.

Warnhinweis: Führen Sie die folgenden
Schritte sorgfältig aus, um Glasbruch zu ver-
meiden.
Überprüfen Sie die Höhe des Dunstabzugs mit
einem Lineal, er MUSS mit der Arbeitsplatte
(Oberkante) oder der gefrästen Kante (Spülkante)
eingeebnet werden (plan liegen). Justieren Sie ge-
gebenenfalls mit den Stellfüßen nach.

Bringen Sie das wasserdichte Klebeband an der
Unterseite der Glasplatte des Kochfelds an.

Warnhinweis: Bringen Sie kein Fugendicht-
mittel zwischen dem Kochfeld und der Ar-
beitsplatte an.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Kante des Ausschnitts
im Induktionskochfeldglas mit den Seitenprolen
des Lüftungsschirms ausgerichtet ist.

Legen Sie die Glasplatte vorsichtig in die vorgese-
henen Aussparungen des Dunstabzugs.
Warnhinweis: Führen Sie die Schritte vorsich-
tig durch, um Schäden und Kratzer auf der
Glasplatte zu vermeiden.

MontageinAuage:Positionieren Sie das Glas des
Induktionskochfelds, so dass der Abstand rum um
den Auschnitt für den Lüfungsschirm gleichmäßig ist.
FlächenbündigeMontage: Stellen Sie die Position
(vorne, hinten, links und rechts) des Dunstabzugs
so ein, dass der Abstand zwischen dem oberen
Glas und dem Ausschnitt für den Lüftungsschirm zu
allen Seiten gleichmäßig ist. (SCHRITT 18.21)

Fixieren Sie das Kochfeld am Dunstabzug mit den
vier Schrauben n° 906258.
Warnhinweis: Drehen Sie diese Schrauben
nur von Hand fest.

Warning: Carry out the following action
carefully to avoid glass dammage.
Check the height of the cooker hood with a ruler,
it MUST be levelled with the worktop (surface) or
milled edge (ushline).
Adjust if necessary with the levelling feet.

Apply the waterproof tape on the bottom of the
induction hob.

Warning: Do not apply sealant between the
hob and worktop.
Place the induction hob on the hood. Make sure
the edge of the cut-out in the induction hob glass
is aligned with the side proles of the tower.

Carefully place the upper glass with the pins in
the cut-outs provided in the hood.
Warning: perform the above action carefully
to prevent glass damage and scratches.

Surface mounting: Adjust the position of the in-
duction hob until the spacing around the tower top
glass and cut-out is even.
Flushline mounting:Adjust the position (front,
back, left and right) of the cooker hood until the
spacing around the tower top glass and cut-out is
even. (STEP 18, 21)

Secure the position of the hob on the hood with
the four screws n° 906258.
Warning: Tighten these bolts only nger
tight, do not use a hand-held screwdriver.

Herhaal bovenstaande procedure om terug naar
recirculatiemodus over te schakelen. De led is
nu 3 seconden aan.

Open het afdekplaatje voor aansluitconnector.

fermée.

Mode recyclage : La hotte est par défaut en
mode recyclage.
Mode évacuation : appuyez simultanément
pendant 3 secondes sur les touches “+” et “-” et
. La led à côté de clignote 3 fois pour
conrmer le réglage.
Répétez ces actions pour le mode de reicrulation,
le led sera allumé pendant 3 secondes.

Ouvrir la plaque recouvrement devant le
connecteur de connexion.

die Magnete die Glasplatte anziehen.

Drücken Sie die Taste , um den Lüftungs-
schirm neu zu initialisieren.

Der Lüftungsschirm bewegt sich jetzt in die ge-
schlossene Position.

Umluft: Das Gerät ist standardmäßig für
Umluftbetrieb programmiert.
Abluft: Sie können das Gerät durch Drücken
der Tastenkombination “+” und “-” und für
ca. 3 Sekunden, in den Abluftmodus umstellen.
Die nebenstehende LED blinkt dreimal, um die
Einstellung zu bestätigen.
Wiederholen Sie diese Schritte, gelangen
Sie wieder in den Umluftmodus. In diesem
Fall leuchtet die LED für 3 Sekunden, um den
Moduswechsel zu bestätigen.
