Le câble chauffant autorégulant nVent RAYCHEM
GM-2X crée une voie d’évacuation pour l’eau de
fonte dans les chéneaux et tuyaux de descente.
Contenu du kit
A. Câble chauffant autorégulant GM-2X
préterminé (5 m, 12 m ou 20 m) avec 8 m
de câble d’alimentation.
B. Console de fixation nVent RAYCHEM
GM-RAKE
C. Kit de terminaison nVent RAYCHEM
RayClic-E-02
nVent exige l'utilisation d'un disjoncteur
différentiel de 30 mA.
Un câble endommagé ne peut être réparé et doit
être mis au rebut. Le câble GM-2X ne convient
pas pour l’asphalte, le bitume, le roofing, etc. ;
pour ce type d’applications utiliser un câble
spécial à gaine fluoropolymère (8BTV-2-CT).
Montage
1. Installer le câble chauffant dans le
chéneau et le tuyau de descente
(voir schémas) avec le GM-Rake
(voir instruction jointe).
2. Si le câble chauffant est trop long, le
raccourcir et le terminer à l’aide du kit
RayClic-E-02 (voir instruction jointe).
3. Confier le raccordement de l’installation
à un électricien agréé. L’utilisation d’un
thermostat (type HTS-D) améliore la
rentabilité énergétique du système.

nVent RAYCHEM GM-2X self-regulating heating
cable provides an evacuation path for melting
water in gutters and downpipes.
Kit content
A. GM-2X pre-terminated, self-regulating
heating cable (5 m, 12 m or 20 m)
with 8 m power cable.
B. nVent RAYCHEM GM-RAKE fixing bracket
C. nVent RAYCHEM RayClic-E-02 end seal kit
nVent requires the use of a 30 mA residual
current device.
The cable is non repairable and if it is damaged,
the entire cable must be disposed off. GM-2X
is not appropriate for laying on asphalt,
butimen, roofing felt etc., a cable with a special
fluoropolymer jacket (8BTV-2-CT) must be used.
Installation
1. Arrange the heating cable in the gutter and
downpipe as indicated in the drawings with
the GM-RAKE (see enclosed installation
instruction).
2. If the heating cable is too long, it can be
shortened and terminated with the
RayClic-E-02 kit (see enclosed instruction).
3. An electrical contractor should make
the power connections. The use of a
thermostat (type HTS-D) will improve the
energy-efficiency of the system.

Schmelzwasser in Dachrinnen und Fallrohre.

nVent fordert die Verwendung eines
Fehlerstromschutzschalters (30 mA). Das
Heizband kann nicht repariert werden. Bei einer
Beschädigung muss das gesamte Heizband
entsorgt werden. GM-2X eignet sich nicht zum
Verlegen auf Asphalt, Bitumen, Teerpappe
usw. Dort muss ein Heizband mit speziellem
Fluorpolymer-Außenmantel
(8BTV-2-CT) verwendet werden.
Montage
1. Verlegen Sie das Heizband in der
Dachrinne und im Fallrohr wie in den
Zeichnungen angegeben mit GM-RAKE
(siehe mitgelieferte Anweisung).
2. Wenn das Heizband zu lang ist, kann es
gekürzt und mit der Garnitur Rayclic-E-02
abgeschlossen werden (siehe mitgelieferte
Anweisungen).
3. Der Elektroanschluss muss von einem
konzessionierten Elektroinstallateur
vorgenommen werden. Der Einsatz eines
Thermostats (Typ HTS-D) erhöht die
Energieeffizienz des Systems.
