Das DVD±R/RW-Laufwerk ist als interne Version (PX-708A) für den Einbau in PCs,
Towers oder Kopiersysteme erhältlich. Die externe Version (PX-708UF) kann direkt an
einen USB/IEEE 1394 (FireWire) Controller angeschlossen werden.

Außerdem sind der PX-708A und der PX-708UF zu allen gängigen Betriebssystemen
wie Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP kompatibel.
PoweRec Technologie:
Medien (CDs/DVDs) minderer Qualität sind häufig die Ursache für Disk-Fehler
beim Brennen mit hoher Geschwindigkeit. Bei der PoweRec Technologie (die im
PX-708A/PX-708UF zum Einsatz kommt) wird die Qualität geprüft und automatisch
die optimale (maximale) Schreibgeschwindigkeit gewählt, sodass beste Ergebnisse
