Persönliche Sicherheitshinweise:
Bei Arbeiten mit SW-Stahl Werkzeugen müssen Sie immer eine
Schutzausrüstung in Form von Schutzhandschuhen, Schutzbrille
und Sicherheitsschuhe tragen, die die aktuellen Sicherheitsnor-
men erfüllen. Schützen Sie Ihre Augen vor hochgeschleuderten
Partikeln, Ihre Hände vor Abschürfungen und Quetschungen und
Ihre Füße vor herabfallenden Teilen. Prüfen Sie das Werkzeug
vor der Anwendung auf Schäden, Verformungen, Risse, verschlis-

Entsorgung:
Der Werkzeugsatz besteht aus verschiedensten Materialien,
die einzeln entsorgt werden müssen. Besonders Bauteile mit
Anhaftungen von Kraftstoffen oder Ölen unterliegen besonderen
Richtlinien. Falls notwendig lassen Sie sich von Ihrem örtlichen
Entsorgungsunternehmen beraten.
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch:
Dieser Werkzeugsatz dient der Reparatur der Befestigungs-
schraube des Injektors bei Mercedes-Benz CDi Motoren. Mit
diesem Satz können unbeschädigte Gewinde im Zylinderkopf
gereinigt werden, um wieder die originalen Anzugsdrehmomente
der Befestigungsschraube zu erreichen. Ferner können abgeris-
sene Befestigungsschrauben ausgebohrt und das beschädigte
Gewinde im Zylinderkopf repariert werden.

Anwendung:
ACHTUNG:
• Verschließen Sie vor allen Arbeiten mit diesem Werkzeug-
satz den Injektor-Schacht und alle offenen Bohrungen.
Bei abgebautem Ventildeckel ist der Zylinderkopf sorgfältig
abzudecken und gegen herabfallende Späne oder andere
Fremdkörpern zu schützen.
• Die unten angegebenen Bohrereinstellungen beziehen
sich auf Arbeiten mit montiertem Ventildeckel. Sollte der
Ventildeckel demontiert sein, sind die Einstellungen ent-
sprechend der Dicke des Ventildeckels zu reduzieren.
Gewinde nachschneiden:
Es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass die original Injektor Befesti-
gungsschraube schon mit einem höheren Drehmoment
eingeschraubt werden muss, als es eigentlich zulässig ist (max.
15 Nm). In diesem Fall sollte das Gewinde im Zylinderkopf ge-
reinigt / nachgeschnitten werden. Verwenden Sie dazu den
Gewindebohrer M6 x 1,0 (I) aus dem Satz. Entfernen Sie eventuell
vorhandene Späne oder andere Verunreinigungen (ausblasen).
Befestigungsschraube abgerissen:
Beim Lösen der Befestigungsschraube besteht die Gefahr, dass
sie im Zylinderkopf abreißt. Um die Schraube auszubohren,
gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor:
• Stecken Sie die Bohrhülse (B) bis zum Anschlag in das
Loch der Befestigungsschraube. Damit wird der Bohrer ge-
führt und die im Bohrloch vorhandene Schraube zentriert.
• Stecken Sie den Bohranschlag 6,0 mm (D) auf den Spiral-

bohrer 6,0 mm (C) und stellen Sie eine Länge von 85 mm
ein (Bohrerspitze bis Bohranschlag). Fixieren Sie den Bohr-
anschlag in der gewünschten Länge mit dem Innensechs-
kantschlüssel (J).
• Bohren Sie die Injektorschraube mit ca. 600 U/min. aus.
• Entfernen Sie anschließend die Bohrhülse und die Bohr-
späne (ausblasen).
• Weiter geht es mit dem Punkt „Gewinde erneuern“.
ACHTUNG:
• Beachten Sie beim Bohren unbedingt die ursprüngliche
Länge der Befestigungsschraube, um eventuell darunter
liegende Wasserkanäle nicht zu beschädigen.
• Verwenden Sie beim Bohren ein geeignetes Kühlmittel!
Gewinde erneuern:
Ist das Gewinde im Zylinderkopf ausgerissen oder wurde die
Befestigungsschraube ausgebohrt, gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor:
• Stecken Sie den Bohranschlag 8,0 mm (F) auf den Stufen-
bohrer 7,0 – 8,0 mm (E) und stellen Sie eine Länge von 68
mm ein (Bohrerspitze bis Bohranschlag). Fixieren Sie den
Bohranschlag in der gewünschten Länge mit dem Innen-
sechskantschlüssel (J).
• Bohren Sie den Zylinderkopf bis zum Bohranschlag auf.
Bohrspäne entfernen (ausblasen).
• Der neue Gewindeeinsatz (G) wird auf den Eindreher (A)
geschraubt. Schrauben Sie nun den Gewindeeinsatz in
das neue geschnittene Gewinde. Verwenden Sie bitte ein
Schraubensicherungsmittel um den Gewindeeinsatz zu
sichern.
• Drehen Sie den Eindreher (A) heraus.

Injektorschraube eindrehen:
Die Injektorschraube muss grundsätzlich erneuert werden, da es
sich um Dehnschrauben handelt. Der Satz enthält zwei Injektor-
schrauben (K). Füllen Sie den Satz möglichst schnell wieder auf,
damit Sie eine Reparatur sofort durchführen können.
ACHTUNG: Anzugsdrehmoment der Injektorschraube: 15 Nm
plus 90 Grad.

Personal notes on safety:
When working with SW-Stahl tools you must always wear protec-
tive equipment in the form of protection gloves, protective goggles
and safety shoes which meet current safety standards. Protect
your eyes against of high-ying particles, your hands against
lesions and crushing and your feet against parts falling down.
Check the tool for damage, deformation, cracks, worn-out screw
threads or other defects before application.
Damaged or worn-out component parts must be exchanged
before use!
Waste disposal:
The tool set consists of the most varied materials which have
to be disposed of separately. In particular, component parts with
adherents from fuels or oils are subject to special directives.
If necessary, you can obtain advice from your local refuse collec-
tion rm.
Use according to specication:
This tool set serves for the repair of fastening screws of injectors
in Mercedes-Benz CDi engines. With this set, undamaged screw
threads in the cylinder head can be cleaned in order to achieve
the original starting torques of the fastening screw again. Further-
more, torn-off fastening screws can be reamed and the damaged
screw thread in the cylinder head repaired.

Application:
ATTENTION:
• Close off the injector shaft and all open bores before any
work with this tool set. In case of removed valve cover,
the cylinder head is to be covered carefully and protected
against falling-down chip cuttings or other foreign bodies.
• The drill adjustments indicated below refer to work with as-
sembled valve cover. If the valve cover should be disman-
tled, the adjustments are to be reduced according to the
thickness of the valve cover.
Chasing screw threads:
The possibility exists that the original fastening screw injector
must be screwed in with a higher torque than is in fact admissible
(max. 15 Nm). In this case, the screw thread in the cylinder head
should be cleaned / chased. For this purpose, use the screw tap
M6 x 1.0 (I) from the set. Remove possibly existing chip cuttings
or other contamination (blow out).
Torn-off fastening screw:
With loosening the fastening screw, the hazard exists that it rips
off in the cylinder head. In order to ream out the bolt, please
proceed as follows:
• Insert the drilling socket (B) as far as the limit stop into the
hole of the fastening screw. In this way, the drill is guided
and centers the bolt present in the borehole.
• Insert the drilling limit stop 6.0 mm (D) on the twist drill 6.0
mm (C) and adjust to a length of 85 mm (drill tip to drilling
limit stop). Fix the drilling limit stop at the required length
with the Allen key (J).

• Drill out the injector bolt with approx. 600 rpm.
•
Then remove the drilling socket and drilling chips (blow out).
• Further procedure as in point „Renewing screw threads“.
ATTENTION:
• It is absolutely necessary to consider the original length of
the fastening screw during drilling, in order not to damage
possibly included water conduits.
• Use a suitable coolant during boring!
Renewing screw threads:
The injector bolt must basically be renewed since it involves ex-
tension bolts. The set includes two injector bolts (K). Rell the set
again as quickly as possible so that you can implement a repair
immediately.
ATTENTION: Starting torque of the injector bolt: 15 Nm plus 90
degrees.

Enlèvement et élimination :
Le jeu d’outils consiste en les matériaux les plus divers, qui
doivent être jetés séparément. Notamment les composants sur
lesquels adhèrent des carburants ou des huiles sont soumis à
des directives particulières. Faites-vous conseiller par votre entre-
prise locale d’enlèvement des déchets au besoin.
Utilisation conforme à la destination :
Ce jeu d’outils sert à réparer la vis de xation de l’injecteur des
moteurs Cdi Mercedes-Benz CDi. Ce jeu vous permet de nettoyer
les letages non endommagés dans la culasse an de retrouver
les couples de serrage d’origine de la vis de xation.
Les vis de xation arrachées peuvent en outre être extraites par
perforation et le letage endommagé dans la culasse peut être
réparé.

Application :
ATTENTION :
• Fermez le puits d’injecteur et toutes les perforations ou-
vertes avant de réaliser tous travaux avec ce jeu d’outils.
Le couvercle de soupape étant démonté, il faut recouvrir
soigneusement la culasse et la protéger contre les chutes
de copeaux ou autres corps étrangers.
• Les réglages de foret indiqués ci-dessous se réfèrent aux
travaux exécutés avec le couvercle de soupape monté. Si
le couvercle de soupape devait être démonté, les réglages
doivent être réduits en fonction de l’épaisseur du couvercle
de la soupape.
Recouper le letage :
Il est possible que la vis de xation d’injecteur d’origine doive déjà
être vissée avec un couple de serrage supérieur à celui qui est
en fait admissible (15 Nm max.). Dans ce cas, le letage dans la
culasse doit être nettoyé / recoupé. Utilisez à cet effet le taraud
M6 x 1,0 (I) du jeu. Éliminez les copeaux ou autres encrasse-
ments éventuellement présents (soufage).
Vis de xation arrachée :
Lors du desserrage de la vis de xation, il y a un risque que cette
dernière ne soit arrachée dans la culasse. Procédez comme suit
pour extraire la vis par perforation :
• Enchez la douille de forage (B) jusqu’à la butée dans le
trou de la vis de xation. Ceci permet de guider le foret et
de centrer la vis présente dans l’orice perforé.
• Enchez la butée de forage 6,0 mm (D) sur le foret hélicoï-
dal 6,0 mm (C) et réglez une longueur de 85 mm (pointe du
foret jusqu’à la butée de forage). Fixez la butée de forage à
la longueur souhaitée avec la clé Allen (J).

• Extrayez la vis d’injecteur avec env. 600 tr./min.
• Retirez pour nir la douille de forage et les copeaux de
forage (soufage).
• Continuez avec le point « renouveler le letage ».
ATTENTION :
• Observez impérativement lors de la perforation la longueur
d’origine de la vis de xation an de ne pas endommager
les canalisations d’eau se trouvant éventuellement en
dessous.
• Utilisez un réfrigérant adapté lors du forage !
Renouvèlement d’un letage :
Si le letage dans la culasse est arraché ou si la vis de xation a
été éjectée par perforation, procédez comme suit :
• Enchez la butée de forage 8,0 mm (F) sur le foret étagé
7,0 – 8,0 mm (E) et réglez une longueur de 68 mm (pointe
du foret jusqu’à la butée de forage). Fixez la butée de
forage dans la longueur souhaitée avec la clé Allen (J).
• Forez la culasse jusqu’à la butée de forage. Enlevez les
copeaux (soufage).
• Coupez avec le taraud M8 x 1,0 (H) un nouveau let dans
la culasse. Enlevez les copeaux de découpe (soufage).
• Le nouvel insert de letage (G) est vissé sur le guide (A).
Vissez maintenant l’insert de letage dans le nouveau
letage coupé. Veuillez utiliser un frein-let pour sécuriser
l’insert de letage.
• Extrayez le guide (A).

Insérez la vis d’injecteur :
La vis d’injecteur doit être en principe renouvelée du fait qu’il
s’agit d’une vis de dilatation. Le jeu contient deux vis d’injecteur
(K). Remplissez le jeu aussi rapidement que possible pour pou-
voir exécuter une réparation immédiatement.
ATTENTION : couple de serrage de la vis d’injecteur :
15 Nm plus 90 degrés.
