INSPECTION UPON RECEIPT

Carefully unpack and inspect your new ProTeam Lithium Ion Battery and Battery Charger

for shipping damage. Each unit is tested and thoroughly inspected before shipping. All

returns must have a Return Authorization Number (RAN). To request a RAN or to ask

This Owner’s Manual has important information for the use and safe operation of the

GoFree Flex Pro battery and charger. Read this manual carefully before charging batteries.

Keep this manual available at all times and instruct all operators to read it before using. If

instructions are not followed, an injury may occur, or equipment, furniture, or buildings

may become damaged.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Use only ProTeam charger 107515 and ProTeam battery pack 107513. A charger that

is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another

battery pack. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.

2. DO NOT use charger to charge non-rechargeable batteries.

3. When charging, make sure that the charger has at least 6 inches of clearance on all

sides. Adequate airflow is required to cool the charger when in use.

4. DO NOT charge batteries outdoors.

5. Connect charging cord to a properly grounded outlet only. See Grounding Instructions.

6. DO NOT leave charger plugged in when not in use.

7. DO NOT operate charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or damaged in

any way.

8. DO NOT use charger if it has a damaged cord or plug. DO NOT carry charger by cord.

9. DO NOT pull on charger’s cord to unplug. Grasp and pull the plug, not the cord.

10. DO NOT handle charger, including charger plug and charger terminals, with wet

hands while charger is plugged in or while inserting plug into electrical outlet.

11. DO NOT use or store vacuum or batteries in wet or moist conditions, or near flam-

mable or combustible materials.

12. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips,

coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from

one terminal to another. Shorting the battery or charger terminals together may cause

burns or a fire.

13. DO NOT use vacuum and battery pack in temperatures above 104°F (40°C) or below

50°F (10°C). DO NOT charge the battery pack in temperatures above 104°F (40°C) or

below 50°F (10°C). Follow all charging instructions. Charging at temperatures outside

of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire. DO NOT

store battery pack in ambient temperatures above 122°F (50°C) or below 50°F (10°C).

14. DO NOT expose battery packs to temperatures above 122°F (50°C). Never leave bat-

tery packs in automobiles on hot days, where temperatures can be much higher than

the outside temperature.

15. DO NOT use a battery pack or vacuum that is damaged or modified. DO NOT crush,

drop, incinerate, or damage the battery pack. DO NOT incinerate the battery even if

it is non-working or severely damaged. The battery can explode in a fire. Damaged or

modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion, or risk

of injury.

16. DO NOT attempt to repair, service, or modify the battery pack or charger. Contact

ProTeam Customer Service with any issues.

17. Battery pack and charger are non-serviceable and must be replaced if damaged.

18. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If con-

tact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medi-

cal help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

19. DO NOT expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure

to fire or temperature above 265°F may cause explosion.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

Violation of any of these instructions may void any and all warranties.

and on the battery, charger, and vacuum before using

CHARGER GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

THE GOFREE FLEX PRO BATTERY CHARGER MUST BE GROUNDED. If the charger should

malfunction or stop working, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electrical cur-

rent, thereby reducing the risk of electrical shock. This unit is equipped with a cord that has

an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be inserted in an

appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes

and ordinances. Cutting off the ground wire or using a cord that is not equipped with a

ground plug will void the warranty on the unit, and ProTeam will accept NO liability associ-

ated with the unit.

Improper connection of the equipment-grounding con-

ductor can result in a risk of electrical shock. Check with a

qualified electrician or service person if you are unsure that

the outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the charger. If it will

not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.

The GoFree Flex Pro battery charger is for use on a nominal 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz circuit,

and has a grounded plug in the US and Canada, the plug looks like the plug illustrated in

sketch A in Figure AA. A temporary adaptor that looks like the adaptor illustrated in sketches

B and C may be used to connect this plug to a 2-pole receptacle as shown in sketch B if

a properly grounded outlet is not available. The temporary adaptor should be used only

until a properly grounded outlet (sketch A) can be installed by a qualified electrician. The

green colored rigid ear, lug, or the like extending from the adaptor must be connected to a

permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box cover. Whenever the adaptor is

used, it must be held in place by a metal screw.

Note: In Canada, the use of a temporary adaptor is not permitted by the Canadian Electrical

Code.

For Canada – This appliance is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit and has a grounded

attachment plug that looks like the plug illustrated in sketch A in Figure AA. Make sure that

the charger is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug. No adap-

tor should be used with the chargers detailed in this manual.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physi-

cal, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they

have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person

responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play

with the appliance.

OPERATION

This charger is intended to recharge ProTeam Lithium Ion battery 107513.

Charge in a well-ventilated area. DO NOT block charger

vents. Keep them clear to allow proper ventilation.

CHARGING PROTEAM LITHIUM ION BATTERY PACKS

Lithium Ion batteries deliver fade-free power for their entire run time. The GoFree Flex Pro

vacuum will not gradually lose power due to decreasing battery charge. The vacuum will

perform at its normal performance level until the battery has been depleted. Once this hap-

pens, recharging of the battery is required. It is not necessary to drain the battery pack com-

pletely before recharging.

If none of the charger LEDs is lit at any point during the charging process, remove the bat-

tery pack from the charger to avoid damaging the product. DO NOT insert another battery.

Contact ProTeam Customer Service with any issues.

BATTERY PROTECTION FEATURES

ProTeam 36-volt Lithium Ion batteries are designed with features that protect the Lithium Ion

cells and maximize battery life. When the battery has reached its minimum voltage level the

electronics will shut off the battery. Once the battery shuts off, it must be recharged.

1. Plug the charger's power cord into

the charger (Figure A).

2. Install battery on charger as shown

(Figure B) and lock in position by

turning knob clockwise.

3. Plug the charger's power cord into

120V (230 V for Europe) wall outlet

(Figure C).

4. The left indicator light should turn

Red. The right indicator light will

ﬂash Green when charging and will

stop ﬂashing and remain Green when

fully charged (Figure D). The battery

pack may require approximately 2.5-

3 hours to fully charge for the 12Ah

battery.

Note: Prior to charging, the battery may

be in standby mode for approximately

an additional hour to allow cooling.

5. Verify the charge level of the battery

pack by pressing the power level

indicator button on the front of

the pack. (Figure E). Five Red lights

indicate a fully charged battery.

MAINTENANCE

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from

various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove

dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

BATTERIES

Battery packs for this product have been designed to provide maximum, trouble-free life. However,

like all batteries, they will eventually wear out. DO NOT disassemble battery pack and attempt to

replace the battery cells. Handling of these cells, especially when wearing rings and jewelry, could

result in a serious burn.

To obtain the longest possible battery life:

• Remove the battery pack from the charger once it is fully charged and ready for use.

• Store the battery pack in a cool, dry location.

• It is normal for Lithium batteries to lose charge during long periods of non-use. They should be

charged at least every 3 months to maintain the battery life.

BATTERY PACK REMOVAL AND PREPARATION FOR RECYCLING

Dispose of old battery in an environmentally safe way according to your local regulations.

Contact your local regulatory authorities for proper transporting and disposal instructions.

it is illegal in most jurisdictions to dispose of Lithium ion batteries in ordinary trash.

For 12Ah Batteries (107513): Contact your local waste authority for information

regarding available recycling and/or disposal options. Or contact ProTeam customer

service at 866.888.2168 or [email protected] for the latest

information. In some jurisdictions Call2Recyle will accept the 12Ah battery.

Recycling your old batteries is free and easy with the Call2Recycle program.

Call2Recycle is a product stewardship program providing no-cost battery and cellphone recycling

solutions across the U.S. and Canada. For more information about the Call2Recycling program,

or for more information about a local collection site visit www.call2recycle.org/locator or call the

Call2Recycle toll free number 1-800-822-8837.

Upon removal, cover the battery pack’s terminals with heavy

duty adhesive tape. DO NOT attempt to destroy or disassemble

battery pack or remove any of its components. Lithium Ion

battery packs must be recycled or disposed of properly. Never

touch both terminals with metal objects, as a short circuit will

result. Keep away from children. Failure to comply with these

warnings could result in fire and/or serious injury or death.

BATTERY FUEL GAUGE

The battery fuel gauge indicates the approximate run time remain-

ing on the battery. When the test button is pressed, one to five

indicators will light up, indicating the approximate battery charge

remaining (Figure F) as follows:

All 5 lights on: Full Charge

4 lights on: 80% Charge 2 lights on: 40% Charge

3 lights on: 60% Charge 1 light on: 20% Charge

This limited warranty applies to all ProTeam®, Inc. products, including, without limitation, Backpacks,

Canisters, Hipstyles, Uprights, Air Movers, and Wet/Dry product lines, and certain batteries and chargers (col-

lectively, the “products”). Speciﬁc warranty terms for certain product parts, motors, batteries and accessories

are stated below.

If you have any questions or need assistance regarding the warranty of your product, please call ProTeam

Customer Service department at (866) 888-2168 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Central Time or

at any time via email or fax. Customer service hours may vary and will be updated on the ProTeam website at

Limited Warranty

ProTeam, Inc., located at 8100 W. Florissant Ave, Building T, St. Louis, MO 63136 (“ProTeam” or “we”) war-

rants to the original purchaser only (“you” or “your”), subject to “Warranty Exclusions” (as applicable),

that the product parts, motor, battery and/or charger identiﬁed below will be free from defects in materi-

als and workmanship, including labor costs in connection therewith, when under normal use and service

beginning on the original date of purchase and continuing for the corresponding period (each a “Warranty

Period”). This limited warranty terminates if you transfer the product to any other person or entity.

• All molded body parts, except as indicated below – expected lifetime of the product

• All Uprights – 3 years

What is Not Covered - Warranty Exclusions

This limited warranty does not extend to and expressly excludes:

• Normal wear and tear on the product and/or attachments and accessories including, without limitation,

extension cords, hoses, ﬁlters, switches, carbon motor brushes and other vacuum attachments and ac-

cessories not speciﬁcally listed.

• Damage or burnout of the product motor resulting from failure to clear a blockage occurring during the

normal course of use.

• Loss or damage to the product resulting from conditions beyond ProTeam’s control including without

limitation, misuse, accident, abuse, neglect, negligence (other than ProTeam’s), use beyond listed capac-

ity, or improper installation, maintenance or application.

• Unauthorized modiﬁcation or alteration.

• Loss or damage to the product resulting from failure to follow the required maintenance schedule, or

failure to use the product in accordance with ProTeam’s written instructions, guidelines or the terms of

its Owner’s Manual.

• Lithium Ion Battery Charger limited warranty applies only to defects arising under normal usage. All

other damages are expressly excluded.

How to Notify ProTeam

If you discover that your product has a defect that you believe is covered by this limited warranty, you must

notify ProTeam or the ProTeam authorized dealer who sold you the product within the applicable Warranty

Period. You may contact ProTeam Customer Service department at (866) 888-2168 between the hours of

8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Central Time or at any time via the fax number or the email address listed in your

Owner’s Manual or at proteam.emerson.com. Customer service hours may vary and will be updated on the

ProTeam website. In order for a warranty claim to be processed as quickly as possible, we suggest that you

complete the registration card made available to you on the ProTeam website at proteam.emerson.com.

If you do not complete a registration card, you will be required to present a dated sales receipt in order to

receive warranty service. Warranty coverage for all products is subject to your compliance with the listed

notiﬁcation and repair procedures. Notiﬁcation procedures for the GoFree Flex Pro backpack battery pack are

set forth below.

What We Will Do to Correct Problems

ProTeam or your local ProTeam authorized dealer will determine whether your claim is covered by this limited

warranty, subject to the limitations or exclusions described above, and whether the claim is within the ap-

plicable Warranty Period. For all warranty claims other than for the GoFree Flex Pro backpack battery pack,

provided your claim is covered under this limited warranty, ProTeam or its authorized dealer will, at ProTeam’s

sole option and discretion, (a) repair or replace the defective portion of your product or (b) replace your entire

product. For GoFree Flex Pro backpack battery packs, your local ProTeam authorized dealer will repair your

product, ship your product to an authorized repair facility, or contact ProTeam for a replacement. If ProTeam

is unable repair your product or GoFree Flex Pro backpack battery pack or provide you with a suitable replace-

ment, you will receive a refund of your purchase price or a credit to be used toward the purchase of a new

product or GoFree Flex Pro backpack battery pack. Products repaired or replaced during the Warranty Period

shall be covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period. Unauthorized repairs or modiﬁcations, or

use of any parts other than genuine ProTeam parts, will nullify this limited warranty.

GoFree Flex Pro Backpack Battery Pack Notiﬁcation Procedures

The GoFree Flex Pro backpack battery pack is not ﬁeld serviceable and must receive special handling instruc-

tions for shipping. Contact ProTeam Customer Service at 866.888.2168 for shipping instructions and service

options. A Return Authorization Number (RAN) must be issued prior to shipping a product. Please call the

Customer Service department number above or visit the ProTeam website to request a RAN. If you have not

submitted a completed registration card, you must include a dated, written proof-of-purchase and a state-

ment explaining the nature of the malfunction with the RAN. If there is no local ProTeam authorized dealer,

ProTeam’s Customer Service department will give you the name and address of the nearest ﬁeld service

representative or will provide you with the RAN and instructions for shipping your product to the ProTeam

repair facility.

No Other Express Warranty Applies

THE LIMITED WARRANTIES PROVIDED ABOVE ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES PROVIDED

BY PROTEAM TO YOU, AND ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WRITTEN OR ORAL, EXPRESS OR

IMPLIED, WHETHER ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,

WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHETHER OR NOT THE PUR-

POSE HAS BEEN DISCLOSED AND WHETHER OR NOT THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED OR

MANUFACTURED FOR YOUR USE OR PURPOSE. THE FOLLOWING SENTENCE APPLIES ONLY TO CONSUMER

PURCHASERS: DISCLAIMERS OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WAR-

RANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL NOT TAKE EFFECT UNTIL

THE END OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD. No employee, agent, dealer, or other person is authorized to alter this

limited warranty or make any other warranty on behalf of ProTeam. The terms of this limited warranty shall

not be modiﬁed by ProTeam, the original owner, or their respective successors or assigns.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PROTEAM BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPE-

CIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY ECONOMIC LOSS, WHETHER RESULTING

FROM NONPERFORMANCE, USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT OR PROTEAM’S NEGLI-

GENCE. SELLER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY DELAY IN PERFORMANCE AND IN NO

EVENT, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION (WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT,

INFRINGEMENT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OTHER TORT OR OTHERWISE), SHALL PROTEAM'S LIABILITY

TO YOU AND/OR YOUR CUSTOMERS EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT. The

term "consequential damages" shall include, but not be limited to, loss of anticipated proﬁts, business inter-

ruption, loss of use or revenue, cost of capital or loss or damage to property or equipment.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above

limitation may not apply to you.

This limited warranty gives you speciﬁc legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State

to State.

This limited warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, U.S.A., without regard to conﬂicts of

law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF

WARRANTY, CLAIMS BASED IN TORT, NEGLIGENCE, PRODUCT LIABILITY, FRAUD, MARKETING, STATE OR

FEDERAL REGULATIONS, ANY CLAIMS REGARDING THE ENFORCEABILITY OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, AND

THE WAIVER OF CLASS ACTION TRIALS between PROTEAM AND YOU, either party may choose to resolve the

dispute by binding arbitration, as described below, instead of in court. THIS MEANS IF EITHER PROTEAM OR

YOU CHOOSE BINDING ARBITRATION, NEITHER PARTY SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO LITIGATE SUCH CLAIM

IN COURT OR HAVE A JURY TRIAL. DISCOVERY AND APPEAL RIGHTS ARE LIMITED IN BINDING ARBITRATION.

ProTeam and You agree that the proper venue if Arbitration is not so chosen by ProTeam OR You of all actions

arising in connection herewith shall be only in the state of Missouri and the parties agree to such jurisdiction.

No action, regardless of form, arising out of transactions relating to the agreement, may be brought by either

party more than two (2) years after the cause of action has accrued. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for

the International Sales of Goods shall not apply to this agreement.

Class Action Waiver

BINDING ARBITRATION MUST BE ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. THIS MEANS NEITHER PROTEAM OR YOU MAY

JOIN OR CONSOLIDATE CLAIMS IN ARBITRATION BY OR AGAINST OTHERS, OR LITIGATE IN COURT OR AR-

Administration of Arbitration

The binding arbitration must be administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) in accordance

with its Commercial Arbitration Rules and/or Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes (in-

cluding proceedings to mitigate costs of travel). This binding arbitration is governed by the Federal Arbitration

Act (“FAA”) (9 USC §1, et. seq.) and will govern the interpretation and enforcement. The binding arbitration

shall be held at a location determined by AAA or at such other location as mutually agreed. In addition to the

terms stated above, the following will apply to the binding arbitration: (1) the arbitrator, and not any federal,

state, or local court or agency, will have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpreta-

1. Utilice solamente el cargador ProTeam 107515 y el paquete de batería ProTeam 107513.

Es posible que un cargador que sea adecuado para un tipo de paquete de batería cree un

riesgo de incendio cuando se utilice con otro paquete de batería. Puede que el uso cualquier

otro paquete de batería cree un riesgo de lesiones e incendio.

2. NO utilice el cargador para cargar baterías no recargables.

3. Al efectuar la carga, asegúrese de que el cargador tenga una separación de al menos

6 pulgadas en todos los lados. Es necesario un ﬂujo de aire adecuado para enfriar el

cargador durante el uso.

4. NO cargue las baterías en el exterior.

10. NO manipule el cargador así como tampoco el enchufe y las terminales del cargador

con las manos húmedas mientras el cargador está enchufado o cuando lo va a insertar

en un tomacorriente eléctrico.

11. NO use o guarde la aspiradora o las baterías en condiciones húmedas o con materiales

inflamables o combustibles.

12. Cuando el paquete de batería no esté en uso, manténgalo alejado de otros objetos metáli-

cos, tales como clips sujetapapeles, monedas, llaves, clavos, tornillos u otros objetos metálicos

pequeños que puedan hacer una conexión de un terminal a otro. Si se cortocircuitan juntos

los terminales de la batería o cargador, el resultado podrá ser quemaduras o un incendio.

13. NO utilice la aspiradora ni el paquete de batería a temperaturas superiores a 104 °F (40

°C) o inferiores a 50 °F (10 °C). NO cargue el paquete de batería a temperaturas superi-

ores a 104 °F (40 °C) o inferiores a 50 °F (10 °C). Siga todas las instrucciones de carga. Si

se carga una batería a temperaturas que estén fuera del intervalo especificado, es posible

que se dañe la batería y se aumente el riesgo de incendio. NO almacene el paquete de

batería a temperaturas ambiente superiores a 122 °F (50 °C) o inferiores a 50 °F (10 °C).

14. NO exponga los paquetes de baterías a una temperatura superior a 122°F (50°C). Los

días de calor nunca deje los paquetes de baterías en los automóviles donde la tem-

peratura es muy superior a la temperatura exterior.

15. NO use un paquete de batería o una aspiradora que estén dañados o modificados. NO

aplaste, deje caer, incinere ni dañe el paquete de batería. NO incinere la batería incluso si

no está funcionando o si está severamente dañada. La batería puede explotar en un fuego.

Puede que las baterías dañadas o modificadas tenga un comportamiento impredecible que

cause un incendio, una explosión o riesgo de lesiones.

16. NO intente reparar o modificar las paquete de batería o el cargador. Póngase en con-

tacto con el Servicio de Atención al Cliente de ProTeam por cualquier problema.

17. El paquete de batería y el cargador no son reparables y deben ser reemplazados si se dañan.

18. En condiciones abusivas es posible que se expulse líquido de la batería; evite el contacto. Si

ocurre contacto accidentalmente, enjuáguese con agua. Si el líquido entra en contacto con

los ojos, busque además asistencia médica. Es posible que el líquido expulsado de la batería

cause irritación o quemaduras.

19. NO exponga un paquete de batería o un electrodoméstico a un fuego o a una temperatura

excesiva. Puede que la exposición a un fuego o a una temperatura superior a 265°F cause

una explosión.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA CONEXIÓN

A TIERRA DEL CARGADOR

ESTAS ASPIRADORAS DEBEN ESTAR CONECTADAS A TIERRA. Si la cargador tiene un desperfecto o

deja de funcionar, la conexión a tierra ofrece una vía de menor resistencia para la corriente eléctrica

y, por ende, reduce el riesgo de descarga eléctrica. Este aparato viene equipado con un cable con

conductor de conexión a tierra para el equipo y un enchufe. El enchufe debe ir insertado dentro de

un tomacorriente apropiado que debe estar instalado correctamente y conectado a tierra de acuerdo

con todos los códigos y regulaciones locales. Si se corta el cable de conexión a tierra o se usa un cable

no equipado con enchufe de conexión a tierra, quedará anulada la garantía del artefacto, y ProTeam

NO aceptará ninguna responsabilidad respecto de éste.

Una conexión inadecuada del conductor conectado a

tierra al equipo puede resultar en riesgo de descarga

eléctrica. Veriﬁque con un electricista o técnico de

servicio caliﬁcado si duda de que el tomacorriente esté

debidamente conectado a tierra. No modiﬁque el enchufe suministrado con la cargador Si no encaja

en el tomacorriente, contrate a un electricista caliﬁcado para que instale el tomacorriente adecuado.

El cargador de baterías GoFree Flex Pro™ está diseñado para utilizarse en un circuito de 100-240

V, 50/60 Hz nominales, y tiene un enchufe conectado a tierra en los EE.UU. y Canadá, y dicho

enchufe tiene un aspecto como el que se ilustra en el dibujo A de la Figura AA. Se puede utilizar

un adaptador provisorio, que es similar al adaptador que aparece en las ilustraciones B y C, para

conectar este enchufe a una toma de corriente de 2 polos como se muestra en la ilustración B

en el caso de que no se encuentre disponible un tomacorriente con adecuada conexión a tierra.

El adaptador provisorio debe ser utilizado solamente hasta que un electricista pueda instalar una

toma de corriente debidamente conectada a tierra (ilustración A). La espiga rígida de color verde,

lengüeta o accesorio similar que sale del adaptador debe conectarse a una conexión a tierra

permanente tal como la tapa de la toma de corriente, debidamente puesta a tierra. Siempre que se

utilice un adaptador, debe ser sujetado en su lugar mediante un tornillo metálico.

Importante: En Canadá, el Código Eléctrico Canadiense no permite el uso de un adaptador

provisorio.

Para Canadá: Este artefacto se debe utilizar en un circuito con corriente nominal de 120

voltios, y tiene un enchufe con conexión a tierra que es similar al que aparece en la ilustración A

de la Figure AA. Asegúrese de que la cargador esté conectada a un tomacorriente que tenga la

Este cargador recarga las baterías de ion de litio 107513 de ProTeam.

Efectúe la carga en un área bien ventilada. NO

bloquee los orificios de ventilación del cargador.

Manténgalos despejados para permitir una

ventilación adecuada.

CARGA DE PAQUETES DE BATERÍAS DE ION DE LITIO DE PROTEAM

Las baterías de ion de litio suministran energía libre de atenuación durante todo el tiempo de

funcionamiento. La aspiradora GoFree Flex Pro no perderá potencia gradualmente por una

disminución de la carga de la batería. La aspiradora funcionará al nivel normal de rendimien-

to hasta que la batería se agote. Cuando esto suceda, la batería deberá ser recargada. No es

necesario que el paquete de baterías se descargue totalmente antes de proceder a la recarga.

Si ninguna de las luces LED se enciende en algún punto durante el proceso de carga, retire el

paquete de baterías del cargador para que no se dañe el producto. NO inserte otra batería.

CARACTERÍSTICAS DE PROTECCIÓN DE LA BATERÍA

Las baterías de ion de litio de 36 Volt de ProTeam tienen en su diseño características que

protegen las celdas de ion de litio y maximizan la duración de la batería. Cuando la batería

alcanza el nivel mínimo de voltaje, sus elementos electrónicos se desconectan. Una vez desco-

nectada, la batería debe ser recargada.

1. Conecte el cable de alimentación del

cargador en el cargador (Figura A).

2. Instale la batería en el cargador como se

muestra (Figura B) y bloquear en posición

girando el mando en sentido horario.

3. Conecte el cable de alimentación del

cargador a la toma de corriente de 120 V

(240 V Europa) (Figura C).

4. La luz del indicador de la izquierda debe

ponerse en rojo. La luz intermitente

derecho se iluminará en verde durante

la carga y verde cuando está totalmente

cargado (Figura D). El paquete de baterías

puede requerir aproximadamente 2.5-3

horas para cargarse por completo.

Nota: Antes de cargar, puede que la

batería esté en modo de espera durante

aproximadamente una hora adicional

para dejar que se enfríe.

5. Veriﬁque el nivel de carga de la batería

presionando el botón del indicador de

nivel pwer en el frente de la manada.

(Figura E). Cinco luces rojas indican una

batería completamente cargada. Retire la

batería del cargador y desenchufe el cable

del tomacorriente de la pared después de

la carga.

MANTENIMIENTO GENERAL

No utilice solventes para limpiar piezas plásticas. La mayoría de los plásticos tienden a dañarse con los

diversos solventes comerciales, por eso hay que evitar su uso. Utilice telas limpias para extraer suciedad,

polvo, aceite, grasa, etc.

BATERÍAS

Los paquetes de baterías de este producto han sido diseñados para que tengan una larga duración sin

problemas. No obstante, al igual que todas las baterías, éstas eventualmente se gastan. NO desarme

el paquete de baterías ni intente reemplazar las celdas de las mismas. La manipulación de las células,

especialmente cuando se están usando anillos y joyas, puede ocasionar una seria quemadura.

Para que la duración de la batería sea lo más prolongada posible:

• Retire el paquete de baterías del cargador una vez que está totalmente cargado y listo para usar.

• Almacene el paquete de baterías en un lugar seco y fresco.

• Es normal que las baterías de litio pierdan la carga cuando están sin usar durante largos períodos

de tiempo. Éstas deben ser recargadas al menos cada 3 meses para mantener su duración.

REMOCIÓN DEL PAQUETE DE BATERÍA Y PREPARACIÓN PARA EL RECICLAJE

Deseche la batería vieja de manera segura para el medio ambiente de acuerdo con

los reglamentos locales. Contacte a las autoridades reguladoras locales para obtener

instrucciones sobre el transporte y eliminación adecuados. En la mayoría de las

jurisdicciones es ilegal desechar las baterías de ion litio en la basura ordinaria.

En el caso de baterías de 12 Ah (107513): Contacte a la autoridad local de

gestión de residuos para obtener información sobre las opciones de reciclaje y/o

eliminación disponibles. O contacte con el servicio al cliente de ProTeam llamando

al 866.888.2168 o en [email protected] para obtener la

información más reciente. En algunas jurisdicciones Call2Recyle también aceptará la

batería de 12 Ah.

El reciclaje de las baterías viejas es gratis y fácil con el programa Call2Recycle®. Call2Recycle® es un

Jamás toque ninguna de las dos terminales con objetos de metal, dado que voluntad

ocurrir un corto circuito. Manténgalas alejadas de los niños. El incumplimiento de estas

advertencias podría ocasionar un incendio o lesiones graves o la muerte.

entre carga completa (42V) y apagado (aprox. 28V). Cuando se empuja

• La pérdidas o daños al producto que ocurran como resultado de situaciones que estén más allá del control de

ProTeam, incluyendo, sin limitación, uso incorrecto, accidente, abuso, descuido, negligencia (que no sea por parte

de ProTeam), sobreutilización más allá de la capacidad prevista o instalación, mantenimiento o aplicación que no

sean apropiados.

• Modicación o alteración no autorizadas.

• Las pérdidas o los daños al producto que ocurran como resultado de no seguir el programa de mantenimiento

requerido o como consecuencia de no usar el producto de acuerdo con las instrucciones escritas de ProTeam, sus

directrices u otros términos de su manual del usuario.

• La garantía limitada para el cargador de baterías de ion litio se aplica sólo a los defectos que surjan bajo uso nor-

mal. Todos los demás daños están excluidos expresamente.

Si descubre que su producto tiene un defecto que cree que está cubierto por esta garantía limitada, debe noticar a

Lo Que Haremos Para Corregir los Problemas

ProTeam o el distribuidor local autorizado de ProTeam determinarán si su reclamo está cubierto por esta garantía lim-

itada, sujeto a las limitaciones o exclusiones descritas anteriormente, y si el reclamo se encuentra dentro del Período de

Garantía aplicable. Para todos los reclamos bajo garantía que no sean para el paquete de batería de la aspiradora tipo mo-

chila GoFree Flex Pro, siempre y cuando su reclamo esté cubierto bajo esta garantía limitada, ProTeam o su distribuidor

autorizado, a opción y discreción exclusivas de ProTeam, (a) reparará o reemplazará la porción defectuosa de su producto

o (b) reemplazará su producto completo. Para los paquetes de batería de la aspiradora tipo mochila GoFree Flex Pro, el

distribuidor local autorizado de ProTeam reparará su producto, enviará su producto a un centro de reparaciones autorizado

o contactará a ProTeam para obtener un reemplazo. Si ProTeam no puede reparar su producto o el paquete de batería

de la aspiradora tipo mochila GoFree Flex Pro, o proporcionarle un reemplazo adecuado, usted recibirá un reembolso

igual al precio de su compra o un crédito para utilizarlo hacia la compra de un producto nuevo o un paquete de batería de

aspiradora tipo mochila GoFree Flex Pro nuevo. Los productos reparados o reemplazados durante el Período de Garantía

estarán cubiertos durante el resto del Período de Garantía original. Las reparaciones o modicaciones no autorizadas, o el

uso de piezas que no sean piezas ProTeam genuinas, anularán esta garantía limitada.

Procedimientos de Noticación Para el Paquete de Batería de la Aspiradora Tipo Mochila GoFree Flex

El paquete de batería de la aspiradora tipo mochila GoFree Flex Pro no puede recibir servicio de ajustes y reparaciones de

campo y se deben recibir instrucciones de manejo especial para su envío. Póngase en contacto con Servicio al Cliente de

ProTeam llamando al 866.888.2168 para obtener instrucciones de envío y opciones de servicio de ajustes y reparacio-

nes. Se debe emitir un Número de Autorización de Devolución (NAD) antes de enviar un producto. Sírvase llamar al

número del departamento de Servicio al Cliente que se indica más arriba o visitar el sitio web de ProTeam para solicitar

un NAD. Si no ha enviado una tarjeta de registro completada, debe incluir con el NAD un comprobante de compra por

escrito fechado y una declaración explicando la naturaleza del funcionamiento defectuoso. Si no hay un distribuidor local

autorizado de ProTeam, el departamento de Servicio al Cliente de ProTeam le dará el nombre y la dirección del repre-

sentante de servicio de campo más cercano o le suministrará el NAD e instrucciones para enviar su producto al centro de

reparaciones de ProTeam.

UN PROPÓSITO ESPECÍFICO, TANTO SI EL PROPÓSITO HA SIDO REVELADO COMO SI NO LO HA SIDO Y SI

EL PRODUCTO HA SIDO O NO HA SIDO DISEÑADO O FABRICADO ESPECÍFICAMENTE PARA EL USO QUE

USTED LE VAYA A DAR O PARA EL PROPÓSITO QUE USTED TENGA. LA SIGUIENTE FRASE SE APLICA

CASO POR DAÑOS INCIDENTALES, ESPECIALES, INDIRECTOS O EMERGENTES, INCLUSIVE CUALQUIER

PÉRDIDA ECONÓMICA, TANTO SI SON EL RESULTADO DE UN RENDIMIENTO DEFICIENTE COMO DE

UTILIZACIÓN, USO INCORRECTO O INCAPACIDAD PARA UTILIZAR EL PRODUCTO O NEGLIGENCIA

POR PARTE DE PROTEAM. EL VENDEDOR NO SERÁ RESPONSABLE POR LOS DAÑOS CAUSADOS POR

UNA DEMORA EN LA EJECUCIÓN Y, CON INDEPENDENCIA DE LA FORMA DE RECLAMO O LA CAUSA DE

HAYA PAGADO POR EL PRODUCTO. La expresión "daños emergentes" incluirá, pero no estará limitada a, pérdida de

ganancias previstas, interrupción del negocio, pérdida de uso o ingresos, costo de capital o pérdida de bienes o equipos o

daños a los mismos.

Algunos estados no permiten la exclusión o limitación de los daños incidentales o emergentes, por lo que es posible que

la limitación que antecede no tenga aplicación en el caso de usted.

Esta garantía limitada le conere a usted derechos legales especícos y es posible que usted tenga también otros derechos

Resolución de Disputas

partes podrá optar por resolver la disputa mediante arbitraje vinculante, tal y como se describe a continuación, en lugar

de ante un tribunal. ESTO SIGNIFICA QUE SI PROTEAM O USTED OPTAN POR EL ARBITRAJE VINCULANTE,

NINGUNA DE LAS DOS PARTES TENDRÁ DERECHO A LITIGAR DICHO RECLAMO ANTE UN TRIBUNAL NI

A TENER UN JUICIO CON JURADO. LOS DERECHOS AL PROCESO DE DESCUBRIMIENTO, ASÍ COMO LOS

DERECHOS DE APELACIÓN, ESTÁN LIMITADOS EN EL ARBITRAJE VINCULANTE. ProTeam y Usted aceptan

que si ProTeam O Usted no escogen el Arbitraje como vía de resolución, la jurisdicción adecuada para todas las acciones

que surjan en relación con el presente estará solamente en el estado de Missouri y las partes aceptan dicha jurisdicción.

Ninguna de las dos partes podrá interponer acción alguna, independientemente de la forma, que surja de transacciones

relacionadas con el acuerdo, más de dos (2) años después que acaeciera la causa que la originó. La Convención de las NU

sobre los contratos de compraventa internacional de mercaderías no se aplicará a este acuerdo.

Renuncia a Demandas Colectivas

EL ARBITRAJE VINCULANTE DEBE SER SOBRE UNA BASE INDIVIDUAL. ESTO SIGNIFICA QUE NI PRO-

TEAM NI USTED PODRÁN UNIRSE A O CONSOLIDAR RECLAMOS EN ARBITRAJE POR O CONTRA OTROS,

NI LITIGAR ANTE UN TRIBUNAL O ARBITRAR NINGÚN RECLAMO COMO REPRESENTANTE O MIEMBRO

DE UN GRUPO NI EN LA CAPACIDAD DE PROCURADOR GENERAL PRIVADO.

Administración del Arbitraje

El arbitraje vinculante debe ser administrado por la Asociación Estadounidense de Arbitraje (American Arbitration

Association, “AAA”) de acuerdo con sus Reglas de Arbitraje Comercial y/o Procedimientos Suplementarios para

Disputas Relacionadas con el Consumidor (incluyendo los procedimientos para mitigar los costos de viaje). Este arbitraje

vinculante se rige por la Ley Federal de Arbitraje (Federal Arbitration Act, “FAA”) (9 USC §1, et. seq.) y regirá la

interpretación y la ejecución. El arbitraje vinculante se celebrará en una ubicación determinada por la AAA o en aquella

otra ubicación que se acuerde mutuamente. Además de los términos establecidos anteriormente, se aplicará lo siguiente al

arbitraje vinculante: (1) el árbitro, y no un tribunal o agencia una federal, estatal o local, tendrá autoridad exclusiva para

resolver cualquier disputa relacionada con la interpretación, aplicabilidad, ejecutabilidad o constitución de este acuerdo,

incluyendo cualquier reclamo de que la totalidad de este acuerdo o cualquier parte del mismo es nulo o anulable; (2) el

árbitro aplicará la ley de Missouri de manera coherente con la FAA.

tout dommage survenu durant le transport. Chaque appareil est vériﬁé et inspecté

un numéro RAN (Return Authorization Number).
