Utilização conforme a fi nalidade
O Smart Connect só pode ser utilizado nas máquinas de café automáticas da JURA previstas
para o efeito. Destina-se à comunicação sem fios entre as máquinas de café automáticas e
os diversos aparelhos complementares (aparelhos compatíveis, consultar a página web
www.jura.com). Qualquer outra forma de utilização é considerada não conforme. A JURA não
assumirá qualquer responsabilidade pelas consequências de uma utilização não conforme à
finalidade.

Instalação
O Smart Connect deve ser utilizado na interface de serviço da máquina de café automática.
Geralmente, encontra-se na parte superior ou posterior do aparelho, por baixo de uma tampa
removível. Caso não saiba onde se situa a interface de serviço da sua máquina de café automá-
tica, informe-se junto da sua loja especializada ou consulte a página web www.jura.com.
T Insira o Smart Connect na interface de serviço da máquina de café automática.
O Smart Connect liga-se automaticamente.
Para funcionar, o aparelho complementar pode estar, no máximo, a 3m das máquinas de café
automáticas.
Indicador LED
Z O LED não acende: a máquina de café automática está desligada, o Smart Connect não está
ligado à corrente.
1 LED: indica o estado de funcionamento do Smart Connect
2 Tecla Reajustar: para a ligação do Smart Connect a outros
aparelhos complementares com possibilidade de ligação

Z O LED acende: a ligação wireless entre o Smart Connect e o aparelho complementar foi
estabelecida.
Z O LED pisca (1 vez/s): procura-se estabelecer uma ligação wireless.
Ligação a outros aparelhos
O Smart Connect pode ser utilizado para diversos aparelhos complementares com possibili-
dade de ligação wireless (por exemplo Cool Control Wireless / Caixa de pagamento compacta
inteligente).
T Coloque o aparelho complementar perto da máquina de café automática (a uma distância
de, no máximo, 0,5m).
T Ligue o aparelho complementar e a máquina de café automática.
T Pulse a tecla Reajustar do Smart Connect (com um clipe, por exemplo).
T A seguir (dentro de 30 s), pulse a tecla Reajustar do aparelho complementar até o LED
acender, indicando que a ligação ao aparelho foi bem sucedida.
Se um aparelho for desligado e voltar a ser ligado, a ligação wireless restabelece-se automati-
camente.
E Algumas máquinas de café JURA dispõem de uma função para a ligação automática
(consultar o manual de instruções do respetivo aparelho).
Repor os ajustes de fábrica para o Smart Connect (ou o PIN de segurança)
Em caso de problemas de caráter geral com o Smart Connect (por ex., problemas de ligação),
existe a possibilidade de o repor para o ajuste de fábrica.
T Prima a tecla Reajustar do Smart Connect durante aprox. 5 segundos.
O LED pisca 5 vezes para confirmar o reajuste.

For this machine, which was designed and built for domestic use, JURA AG offers to the end
customer, in addition to the rights of guarantee from the retailer, a manufacturer’s warranty
with the following terms and conditions:
25 months from the date of initial purchase
1 For products which are subject to selective distribution, the manufacturer’s warranty shall
only apply if the JURA machine was purchased at an authorised JURA specialised dealer.
2 JURA shall remedy all defects within the warranty period. JURA shall decide whether to
remedy the defect by repairing the machine, replacing defective parts or replacing the
machine. The performance of warranty services shall not cause the warranty period to
be extended or restarted. Replaced parts shall become the property of JURA.
3 A warranty service is not applicable for damage or defects caused by incorrect connection,
incorrect handling or transport, repair attempts or modifications by unauthorised persons
or non-compliance with the instructions for use. In particular, the warranty shall be void if
JURA’s operating or maintenance instructions are not followed or if maintenance products
other than JURA water filters, JURA cleaning tablets or JURA descaling tablets are used which
do not correspond to the original specifications. Wearing parts (e.g. seals, grinding discs,
valves) are excluded from the warranty, as is damage caused by foreign bodies entering the
grinder (e.g. stones, wood, paper clips).
4 The sales receipt, specifying the purchase date and machine type, must be provided as
evidence of warranty claims. In order to simplify the process, the sales receipt should also
include the following information where possible: name and address of the customer and
serial number of the machine.
5 If the end customer is a company or a legal person, or if the machine is not used in a
domestic environment, the manufacturer’s warranty is valid for 12 months.
6 Guarantee and service is available in all countries where this product is officially distributed
by JURA. In countries where JURA does not distribute the product, please contact JURA
International Headquarters.
