INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
MOUNTING ONTO CONCRETE FLOOR
Choose an installation location that is easily
accessible to all delivery personnel.
1. Place the parcel mailbox in the chosen location
and mark the mounting holes.
2. Drill four holes 8 mm (0.3 inches) in diameter
and 60 mm (2.4 inches) deep into the concrete
oor for the mounting bolts.
3. The mounting bolt has 5 component parts. The
bolt, the bolt sleeve, the large washer, the small
washer and the hexagonal nut. The mounting
bolt should be assembled as shown before being
installed.
4. Tap the mounting bolt into place.
5. Tighten the hexagonal nut. This causes the bolt
sleeve to expand and secure the mounting bolt
in place.

MOUNTING ONTO GROUND
Before installing the parcel mailbox, a concrete pad
must be created where it will be installed.
1. Dig a hole 50 cm (19.7 inches) square and 15
cm (5.9 inches) deep.
2. Fill the hole with concrete. Use a spirit level
to level the concrete and then let it set before
continuing the installation.
3. Place the parcel mailbox in the chosen location
and mark the mounting holes.
4. Drill four holes 8 mm (0.3 inches) in diameter
and 60 mm (2.4 inches) deep into the concrete
oor for the mounting bolts.
5. The mounting bolt has 5 component parts. The
bolt, the bolt sleeve, the large washer, the small
washer and the hexagonal nut. The mounting
bolt should be assembled as shown before being
installed.
6. Tap the mounting bolt into place.
7. Tighten the hexagonal nut. This causes the bolt
sleeve to expand and secure the mounting bolt

FEATURES
1. Medium sized parcels are delivered through the
parcel chute.
2. Resettable combination lock for trusted courier
access.
3. Large parcels are delivered through the front
door.

MEDIUM SIZED PARCEL DELIVERY
Parcels up to 18 cm (7.1 inches) by 30 cm (11.8
inches) by 38 cm (15 inches) can be delivered via
the top parcel chute. The delivery person puts the
package inside and closes the door. The package
will fall into the retrieval area in the bottom. An
internal fl ap stops anyone from reaching into the
retrieval area when the door is opened.
Note that fragile parcels should not be delivered this
way.
LARGE SIZED PARCEL DELIVERY
Larger parcels can be delivered via the lower door
with the combination lock.
Most courier services have the provision for special
delivery instructions to be included with the parcel.
Place the combination lock code in the special
delivery instructions area so the delivery person can
open the front door and deliver the parcel.
RESETTING THE COMBINATION LOCK
The factory default setting for the combination lock
is 0-0-0. To reset the combination, follow the steps
below.
1. There is a small hole on the outside edge of the
lock. This is the reset button for the lock.
2. Unlock the door by turning the lock counter
clockwise until the hole is pointing downward.
3. Push a paper clip into the hole and keep it
pushed in.
4. Adjust the three dials to set the desired
combination and then release the paper clip.
Do not release the paper clip until the desired
combination is set. If the paper clip is released,
the lock will be set to the combination at that
moment.
5. To lock the door, rotate the lock clockwise and
turn the dials to random digits.
6. To open the door, set the newly chosen
combination and rotate the lock counter
clockwise.

This quality product is warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship, provided that the unit is used under the normal operating
conditions intended by the manufacturer.
This warranty is available only to the person to whom the unit was originally sold by Danby Products Limited (Canada) or Danby Products Inc. (U.S.A.) (hereafter
“Danby”) or by an authorized distributor of Danby, and is non-transferable.
TERMS OF WARRANTY
Plastic parts, are warranted for thirty (30) days only from purchase date, with no extensions provided.
First Year
During the rst twelve (12) months, any functional parts of this product found to be defective, will be repaired or replaced, at warrantor’s
option, at no charge to the ORIGINAL purchaser.
To obtain
Danby reserves the right to limit the boundaries of “In Home Service” to the proximity of an Authorized Service Depot. Any app liance

requiring service outside the limited boundaries of “In Home Service” , it will be the consumer’s responsibility to transport the appliance (at
their own expense) to the original retailer (point of purchase) or a service depot for repair. See “Boundaries of In Home Serv ice” below.
Contact your dealer from whom your unit was purchased, or contact your nearest authorized Danby service depot, where service
must be performed by a qualied service technician.
If service is performed on the units by anyone other than an authorized service depot, or the unit is used for commercial appli cation, all
obligations of Danby under this warranty shall be void.

authorized distributors and all other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees, including any warranties, conditio ns, representations or guarantees
under any Sale of Goods Act or like legislation or statue is hereby expressly excluded. Save as herein provided, Danby shall no t be responsible for any damages
to persons or property, including the unit itself, howsoever caused or any consequential damages arising from the malfunction o f the unit and by the purchase of
the unit, the purchaser does hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Danby from any claim for damages to persons or propert y caused by the unit.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
No warranty or insurance herein contained or set out shall apply when damage or repair is caused by any of the following:
1) Power failure.
2) Damage in transit or when moving the appliance.
3) Improper power supply such as low voltage, defective house wiring or inadequate fuses.
4) Accident, alteration, abuse or misuse of the appliance such as inadequate air circulation in the room or abnormal operating con ditions
(extremely high or low room temperature).
5) Use for commercial or industrial purposes (ie. If the appliance is not installed in a domestic residence).
6) Fire, water damage, theft, war, riot, hostility, acts of God such as hurricanes, oods etc.
7) Service calls resulting in customer education.
8) Improper Installation (ie. Building-in of a free standing appliance or using an appliance outdoors that is not approved for out door application).
Proof of purchase date will be required for warranty claims; so, please retain bills of sale. In the event warranty service is required, present this document to our
AUTHORIZED SERVICE DEPOT.

MONTAGE SUR PLANCHER BETON
Choisissez un emplacement d’installation facilement
accessible à tout le personnel de livraison.
1. Placez la boîte aux lettres à l’emplacement
choisi et marquez les trous de montage.
2. Percez quatre trous de 8 mm (0,3 pouce) de
diamètre et 60 mm (2,4 pouces) de profondeur
dans le sol en béton pour les boulons de

3. Le boulon de montage a 5 composants. Le
boulon, le manchon de boulon, la grande
rondelle, la petite rondelle et l’écrou hexagonal.

MONTAGE SUR TERRAIN
Avant d’installer la boîte aux lettres de colis, un bloc
de béton doit être créé là où il sera installé.
1. Creusez un trou de 50 cm (19,7 pouces) de côté
et de 15 cm (5,9 pouces) de profondeur.

LIVRAISON DE COLIS DE TAILLE MOYENNE
Les colis jusqu’à 18 cm (7,1 pouces) sur 30 cm
(11,8 pouces) sur 38 cm (15 pouces) peuvent être
livrés via la goulotte supérieure. Le livreur met
le colis à l’intérieur et ferme la porte. Le paquet
tombera dans la zone de récupération dans le fond.
Un rabat interne empêche quiconque de pénétrer
dans la zone de récupération lorsque la porte est
ouverte.
Notez que les colis fragiles ne devraient pas être
livrés de cette façon.
LIVRAISON DE COLIS DE TAILLE GRANDES
Les colis plus volumineux peuvent être livrés via la
porte inférieure avec la serrure à combinaison.
La plupart des services de messagerie ont la
disposition pour les instructions de livraison
spéciales à inclure avec le colis. Placez le code de
serrure à combinaison dans la zone des instructions
de livraison spéciales afi n que le livreur puisse
ouvrir la porte d’entrée et livrer le colis.
RÉINITIALISER LA COMBINAISON
Le paramètre d’usine par défaut pour le verrouillage
des combinaisons est 0-0-0. Pour réinitialiser la
combinaison, suivez les étapes ci-dessous.
1. Il y a un petit trou sur le bord extérieur de la
serrure. C’est le bouton de réinitialisation de la
serrure.
2. Déverrouillez la porte en tournant le verrou dans
le sens antihoraire jusqu’à ce que le trou soit
dirigé vers le bas.
3. Poussez un trombone dans le trou et maintenez-
le enfoncé.
4. Réglez les trois molettes pour défi nir la
combinaison souhaitée, puis relâchez le
trombone. Ne relâchez pas le trombone jusqu’à
ce que la combinaison souhaitée soit défi nie. Si
le trombone est relâché, le verrou sera réglé sur
la combinaison à ce moment.
5. Pour verrouiller la porte, tournez la serrure dans
le sens des aiguilles d’une montre et tournez les
molettes vers des chiffres aléatoires.
6. Pour ouvrir le porte, réglez la combinaison
nouvellement choisie et tournez le verrou dans le
sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.

MONTAJE SOBRE PISO CONCRETO
Elija una ubicación de instalación a la que pueda

MONTAJE A TIERRA
Antes de instalar el buzón de paquetes, se debe
crear una plataforma de concreto donde se
instalará.
1. Cave un agujero de 50 cm (19,7 pulgadas)
cuadrados y 15 cm (5,9 pulgadas) de
profundidad.
2. Llena el hoyo con concreto. Use un nivel de
burbuja para nivelar el concreto y luego déjelo
reposar antes de continuar con la instalación.
3. Coloque el buzón de paquetes en la ubicación
elegida y marque los agujeros de montaje.
4. Perfore cuatro agujeros de 8 mm (0.3 pulgadas)
de diámetro y 60 mm (2.4 pulgadas) de
profundidad en el piso de concreto para los
pernos de montaje.
5. El perno de montaje tiene 5 componentes. El
perno, la manga del perno, la arandela grande,
la arandela pequeña y la tuerca hexagonal. El
perno de montaje se debe ensamblar como se
muestra antes de instalarlo.
6. Toque el perno de montaje en su lugar.
7. Apretar la tuerca hexagonal. Esto hace que
la manga del perno se expanda y asegure el
perno de montaje en su lugar.

ENTREGA DE PAQUETES DE TAMAÑO
MEDIANO
Las parcelas de hasta 18 cm (7.1 pulgadas) por
30 cm (11.8 pulgadas) por 38 cm (15 pulgadas)
pueden entregarse a través del tope para paquetes
superior. La persona que entrega entrega el
paquete dentro y cierra la puerta. El paquete caerá
en el área de recuperación en la parte inferior. Una
solapa interna detiene a cualquiera de alcanzar en
el área de recuperación cuando se abre la puerta.
Tenga en cuenta que las parcelas frágiles no
deberían entregarse de esta manera.
ENTREGA DE PAQUETES DE GRAN

Paquetes más grandes se pueden entregar a
través de la puerta inferior con el candado de
combinación.
La mayoría de los servicios de mensajería tienen
la disposición de incluir instrucciones especiales
de entrega con el paquete. Coloque el código de

RESTABLECER EL BLOQUEO DE
COMBINACIÓN
La confi guración predeterminada de fábrica para el
bloqueo de combinación es 0-0-0. Para restablecer

1. Hay un pequeño orifi cio en el borde exterior de

“Danby”) or by an authorized distributor of Danby, and is non-transferable.
TERMS OF WARRANTY
Plastic parts, are warranted for thirty (30) days only from purchase date, with no extensions provided.
First Year
During the rst twelve (12) months, any functional parts of this product found to be defective, will be repaired or replaced, at warrantor’s
option, at no charge to the ORIGINAL purchaser.

Danby reserves the right to limit the boundaries of “In Home Service” to the proximity of an Authorized Service Depot. Any app liance

requiring service outside the limited boundaries of “In Home Service” , it will be the consumer’s responsibility to transport the appliance (at
their own expense) to the original retailer (point of purchase) or a service depot for repair. See “Boundaries of In Home Serv ice” below.
Contact your dealer from whom your unit was purchased, or contact your nearest authorized Danby service depot, where service
must be performed by a qualied service technician.
If service is performed on the units by anyone other than an authorized service depot, or the unit is used for commercial appli cation, all
obligations of Danby under this warranty shall be void.

delivered to the nearest authorized Danby Service Depot, as service must only be performed by a technician qualied and certif ied for
warranty service by Danby. Transportation charges to and from the service location are not protected by this warranty and are t he
responsibility of the purchaser.
Nothing within this warranty shall imply that Danby will be responsible or liable for any spoilage or damage to food or other c ontents of this appliance, whether due
to any defect of the appliance, or its use, whether proper or improper.
EXCLUSIONS
Save as herein provided, Danby, there are no other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees, express or implied, m ade or intended by Danby or its
authorized distributors and all other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees, including any warranties, conditio ns, representations or guarantees
under any Sale of Goods Act or like legislation or statue is hereby expressly excluded. Save as herein provided, Danby shall no t be responsible for any damages
to persons or property, including the unit itself, howsoever caused or any consequential damages arising from the malfunction o f the unit and by the purchase of
the unit, the purchaser does hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Danby from any claim for damages to persons or propert y caused by the unit.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
No warranty or insurance herein contained or set out shall apply when damage or repair is caused by any of the following:
1) Power failure.
2) Damage in transit or when moving the appliance.
3) Improper power supply such as low voltage, defective house wiring or inadequate fuses.
4) Accident, alteration, abuse or misuse of the appliance such as inadequate air circulation in the room or abnormal operating con ditions
(extremely high or low room temperature).
5) Use for commercial or industrial purposes (ie. If the appliance is not installed in a domestic residence).
6) Fire, water damage, theft, war, riot, hostility, acts of God such as hurricanes, oods etc.
7) Service calls resulting in customer education.
8) Improper Installation (ie. Building-in of a free standing appliance or using an appliance outdoors that is not approved for out door application).
Proof of purchase date will be required for warranty claims; so, please retain bills of sale. In the event warranty service is required, present this document to our
AUTHORIZED SERVICE DEPOT.
