Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung vor der

Inbetriebnahme des Airfresh Clean 400 sorg-

fältig durch.

Achtung!

• Vor Inbetriebnahme ist zu überprüfen, ob

die Spannungsangabe mit der örtlichen Netz-

spannung übereinstimmt.

• Dieses Gerät darf von Kindern ab 8 Jahren

sowie von Personen mit eingeschränkten

physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen

Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und

Wissen nur benutzt werden, wenn sie beauf-

sichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Ge-

brauchs des Geräts unterwiesen wurden und

die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.

Reinigung und Gerätewartung dürfen nicht

von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchge-

führt werden. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem

Gerät spielen.

• Schalten Sie das Gerät immer aus und ziehen

Sie das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose, bevor

Sie das Gerät bewegen oder transportieren.

• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit defektem

Netzstecker oder Netzkabel.

•

Versprühen Sie keine brennbaren Materialien,

wie zum Beispiel Insektengifte oder Duftstoffe

um den Airfresh Clean 400.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass Luftein- und Luftaus-

lass nicht verdeckt wird.

• Führen Sie keine Gegenstände in den Luft-

einlass des Gerätes ein. Es kann das Gerät

beschädigen oder Verletzungen verursachen.

• Benutzen oder lagern Sie das Gerät nicht

dort, wo es in eine Badewanne, ein Wasch-

becken, Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeit fallen

kann. Greifen Sie nicht nach einem Gerät, das

in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeit gefallen ist.

Greifen Sie nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüs-

sigkeiten, auch wenn das Gerät zu diesem

Zeitpunkt nicht angeschlossen ist. Bei Feuch-

tigkeit besteht Stromschlaggefahr, wenn das

Gerät wieder an die Steckdose angeschlossen

wird. Feuchtigkeit mit einem trockenen Tuch

abwischen. Den Stecker oder das Gerät nicht

mit nassen Händen anfassen.

•

Der Wechsel des Filters ist vorgesehen, schrau-

ben Sie das Gerät darüber hinaus nicht ausein-

ander. Insbesondere ist ein Austausch der

UV-C-Lampe durch den Benutzer nicht erlaubt.

Vorsicht!

• Wenn die zum Betrieb des Airfresh Clean 400

verwendete Steckdose nicht ordnungsgemäß

angeschlossen ist, wird der Stecker des Geräts

heiß. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie für das

Gerät eine ordnungsgemäß angeschlossene

Steckdose verwenden.

• Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf den

Airfresh Clean 400 und setzen oder stellen

Sie sich nicht darauf.

• Verwenden Sie nur den Originalfilter von

Soehnle, der speziell für diesen Airfresh Clean

400 geeignet ist.

• Benutzen Sie den Airfresh Clean 400 nicht

nach dem Gebrauch von Räuchermitteln zum

Insektenschutz oder an Orten, an denen Öl-

rückstände oder chemische Dämpfe vorhan-

den sind bzw. Räucherstäbchen verbrannt

werden.

• Verwenden Sie den Airfresh Clean 400 nicht

in der Nähe von Heizungen, offenen Kaminen

oder gasbetriebenen Vorrichtungen.

4. Bestimmungsgemäße

Verwendung

Der Airfresh Clean 400 dient ausschließlich der

Reinigung der Raumluft.

5. Die Luftreinigung

Mit dem Soehnle HEPA Kombifilter entfernen Sie

eine Vielzahl unerwünschter Partikel und

Gerüche aus der Raumluft. Durch Zuschalten

des UV-C Lichtes werden Mikroorganismen und

Viren bekämpft.

Vorfilter:

Erfasst Grobstaub.

Soehnle HEPA Kombifilter:

Ein HEPA Filter erfasst Staub, Rauch, Pollen

und weitere Allergene. Ein Aktivkohlefilter filtert

Gerüche aus der Luft.

UV-C Licht:

Bekämpft Mikroorganismen wie Keime, Viren,

Bakterien, Pilzsporen und Schimmelpilzgifte

(Mykotoxine).

6. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch

1.

Stellen Sie das Gerät aufrecht auf einen festen,

ebenen Untergrund. Halten Sie einen halben

Meter Mindestabstand vom Gerät zu jeder

Wand ein.

2. Um eine optimale Leistung des Geräts zu

gewährleisten, stellen Sie sicher, dass die

Lufteinlässe und Luftaustrittsöffnungen nicht

blockiert sind.

3.

Prüfen Sie das Netzkabel, um sicherzustellen,

dass es frei von Beschädigungen ist.

4.

Drehen und öffnen Sie die Unterseite des

Gerätes, wie in Kapitel 8 beschrieben. Entneh-

men und entpacken Sie den Soehnle HEPA

Kombifilter. Anschließend setzen sie den

entpackten Filter wieder ein, verschließen Sie

wieder das Gerät und drehen es wieder um.

5.

Warten Sie bis das Gerät Zimmertemperatur

erreicht hat (ca. 2 Stunden).

6.

Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an eine Steckdose

an.

7. Täglicher Gebrauch

und Betrieb

PM 2,5 Sensor und LED Ring

Die aktuelle Luftqualität wird in Form des PM 2,5

Wertes stetig vom Airfresh Clean 400 ermittelt.

Der PM 2,5 Wert ist die Feinstaubbelastung

(50% der Teilchen ca. 2,5μm) in μg/m

3

.

Der leuchtende LED-Ring an der Oberseite

zeigt Ihnen den aktuellen Grad der Feinstaub-

belastung durch verschiedene Farben an

:

ROT = hohe Belastung (>50 µg/m³)

PINK = mittlere Belastung (20 - 50 µg/m³)

LILA = geringe Belastung (10 - 20 µg/m³)

BLAU = keine Belastung (0 - 10 µg/m³)

Bitte entfernen Sie die Schutzklappe vor den PM2,5 Sensor (C)

nur im Notfall. Bitte lassen Sie keine Gegenstände oder andere

Fremdkörper an den Sensor kommen.

Ein- und Ausschalten

Drücken Sie die EIN/AUS-Taste (L), um

den Airfresh Clean 400 ein- oder auszu-

schalten. Die Kontrollleuchte bei ON/OFF

leuchtet auf.

Erstes Mal drücken:

Gerät wird angeschaltet

Zweites Mal drücken:

Aktiviert den Automatik Modus

Drittes Mal drücken:

Deaktiviert den Automatik Modus

Viertes Mal drücken:

Gerät wird ausgeschaltet

Die Kontrolllampen leuchten entspre-

chend auf.

Automatikmodus

Durch das Drücken der Taste (L), wie zuvor

beschrieben, wird der Airfresh Clean 400

auch in den Automatikmodus gestellt. In

diesem Modus passt das Gerät automa-

tisch die Lüftergeschwindigkeit im Ver-

hältnis zur Luftqualität im Raum an. Somit

erreichen Sie immer die bestmögliche

Luftqualität. Die Kontrollleuchte bei AUTO

leuchtet auf.

Einstellen der Betriebsdauer

Durch Drücken der Taste (I) können Sie

die gewünschte Betriebsdauer einstellen.

Wählen Sie zwischen 2, 4 und 8 Stunden.

Die Kontrollleuchte leuchtet entspre-

chend auf. Das Gerät schaltet nach Ablauf

der Zeit automatisch ab. Ist keine Betriebs-

dauer gewählt (keine Kontrollleuchte

leuchtet), läuft der Airfresh Clean 400 im

Dauerbetrieb.

Ändern der Lüftergeschwindigkeit

Drücken Sie die Taste (K), um die

Lüfter geschwindigkeit und somit die

gewünschte Intensität des Luftausstoßes

auszuwählen:

Niedrig (I) – Mittel (II) – Hoch (III) –

Turbo (alle Kontrolleuchten leuchten)

UV-C Lampe und Nachtmodus

Drücken Sie die Taste (J) einmal um die

UV-C Lampe im Inneren des Airfresh Clean

400 anzuschalten (UV-C Kontrollleuchte

leuchtet). Durch erneutes Drücken akti-

vieren Sie den Nachtmodus ohne die

UV-C Lampe auszuschalten (UV-C Kontroll-

leuchte leuchtet, NIGHT Kontrollleuchte

blinkt). Durch weiteres Drücken der Taste

(J) können Sie die UV-C Lampe abschal-

ten (UV-C Kontrollleuchte ist aus, NIGHT

Kontrollleuchte blinkt) oder beides aus-

schalten (UV-C Kontrollleuchte ist aus,

NIGHT Kontrollleuchte ist aus).

Nachtmodus

Im Nachtmodus können Sie den Airfresh

Clean 400 laufen lassen, ohne durch zu-

sätzliche Lichtquellen gestört zu werden.

Wenn Sie den Nachtmodus aktivieren,

werden nach 10 Sek. alle Kon trollleuchten

am Gerät ausgeschaltet, ohne dass sich

das Gerät abschaltet. Zuvor getätigte Ein-

stellungen der Betriebsdauer und der

Lüftergeschwindigkeit bleiben bestehen.

Das Aktivieren des Nachtmodus wird

durch ein Blinken der Kontrollleuchte ein-

geleitet, bevor sich die Beleuchtung ganz

abschaltet.

Das Gerät kann entweder im Nachtmodus oder im

Automatikmodus laufen. Diese beiden Modi können

nicht gleichzeitig aktiviert werden.

Active Restart Funktion

Ermöglicht den Betrieb über eine steuerbare

Steckdose oder Zeitschaltuhr. Wird die Stromver-

sorgung unterbrochen, merkt sich das Gerät alle

Einstellungen und läuft automatisch mit den

gleichen Einstellungen weiter, sobald die Strom-

versorgung wieder hergestellt wird.

8. Reinigung und Pflege

Reinigung des Kombifilters

Die regelmäßige Reinigung des Kombifilters

(1x im Monat) garantiert einen störungsfreien

Betrieb des Airfresh Clean 400 und

eine größtmögliche Raumluftqualität.

Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

1. Schalten Sie das Gerät vor jeder Reinigung

aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.

2. Drehen Sie das Gerät auf den Kopf und stel-

len Sie es auf einen festen Untergrund (2.1).

3. Öffnen Sie den Schraubverschluss auf der

Unterseite des Geräts (2.2).

4. Heben Sie den Gehäuseboden ab (2.3).

5. Entnehmen Sie den Soehnle HEPA Kombi-

filter (2.4) und reinigen Sie Ihn.

Der Vorﬁlter ist mit Klettverschluss am Filter befestigt.

Reinigen Sie den Vorlter unter ießendem Wasser.

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Vorlter trocken

ist, bevor Sie ihn wieder am Soehnle HEPA Kombi-

lter befestigen. Der Soehnle HEPA Kombi ﬁlter sollte

nur mit einem Staubsauger gereinigt werden.

6. Setzen Sie den Filter wieder ein und verge-

wissern Sie sich, dass er richtig eingesetzt ist.

7. Verschließen Sie das Gerät (3) und drehen Sie

den Schraubverschluss fest. Drehen Sie das

Gerät wieder richtig herum und stellen Sie es

auf einen festen Untergrund.

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Bodenplatte richtig eingesetzt

und in die Verschlussführung eingerastet ist. Beachten Sie

hierzu auch die Pfeilmarkierung an der gegenüberliegen-

den Seite der Bodenpaltte (3). Damit ist die Platte luftdicht

mit den Körper verschlossen.

8. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel wieder an eine

Steckdose an und schalten Sie das Gerät ein.

Reinigung des Gehäuses

Schalten Sie das Gerät vor jeder Reinigung aus

und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker. Reinigen Sie

das Gehäuse des Airfresh Clean 400 mit einem

leicht angefeuchteten Tuch.

9. Ersetzen des Filters

Der Kombifilter sollte nach ca. 4320 Betriebs-

stunden durch einen neuen ersetzt werden.

Nach ca. 4320 Betriebsstunden blinkt die ON/OFF

Kontrollleuchte auf der Steuerungskonsole des

Geräts, um den empfohlenen Filterwechsel anzu-

zeigen. Verwenden Sie ausschließlich die Original

Soehnle Filter!

Um den Filter zu wechseln, gehen Sie wie folgt

vor:

1. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie

den Netzstecker.

2. Öffnen Sie das Gerät wie zuvor in Kapitel 8

beschrieben und entnehmen Sie den Soehnle

HEPA Kombifilter (2.4).

3. Setzen Sie nun den neuen Soehnle HEPA

Kombifilter in das Gehäuse ein. Vergewissern

Sie sich, dass die neue Filtereinheit richtig

eingesetzt ist.

4. Verschließen Sie das Gerät und drehen den

Schraubverschluss fest. Bitte beachten Sie,

dass das Gerät richtig verschlossen ist (siehe

Kapitel 8, Punkt 7). Drehen Sie das Gerät wie-

der richtig herum und stellen Sie es auf einen

festen Untergrund.

5. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel wieder an eine

Steckdose an und schalten Sie das Gerät ein.

6. Drücken Sie die EIN/AUS-Taste (L) für 5 Sek.

Die Filterlaufzeit wird zurückgesetzt.

10. Transport und Lagerung

Transport

WARNUNG!

Schalten Sie das Gerät vor dem Transport immer

aus. Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der

Steckdose.

Lagerung

Wir empfehlen eine sorgfältige Reinigung Ihres

Airfresh Clean 400, bevor Sie das Gerät aufbe-

wahren. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass alle Teile

vor der Lagerung sauber und trocken sind.

Lagern Sie den Airfresh Clean 400 an einem

kühlen trockenen Platz.

11. Fehlerbehebung

Bevor Sie eine der folgende

n Prüfungen durch-

führen, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen

Sie den Netzstecker.

Problem: Das Gerät funktioniert nicht

• Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Airfresh Clean 400 an

einer Stromquelle angeschlossen ist.

• Kontrollieren Sie, ob ein Filter eingesetzt ist

und dieser richtig plaziert ist.

• Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Bodenabdeckung

richtig sitzt und mit dem Schraubverschluss

fest verschlossen ist (siehe Kapitel 8).

Problem: Unzureichender Luftstrom

• Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Filter sauber ist. Bei

Verschmutzung reinigen Sie diesen.

•

Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Luftein- und -austritts-

öffnungen verstopft oder durch Hindernisse

blockiert sind.

Problem: Übermäßiger Lärm

• Kontrollieren Sie, ob sich Fremdkörper im

Ventilator befinden und entfernen Sie diese

gegebenenfalls indem Sie das Gerät auf den

Kopf drehen.

• Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Filter sauber ist. Bei

Verschmutzung reinigen Sie diesen.

• Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Filter richtig sitzt.

• Kontrollieren Sie, ob das Gerät sicher und

gerade auf einem festen Untergrund steht.

Problem: Gerät zeigt konstant hohe Werte

• Zurücksetzen des Sensors: Schalten Sie das

Gerät ein. Drücken Sie die EIN/AUS-Taste (L)

für 5 Sekunden und lassen Sie das Gerät für

2-5 Stunden (je nach Raumgröße) laufen. Das

Gerät zeigt Ihnen durch Blinken der beiden

Kontrollleuchten bei ON/OFF und AUTO an,

sobald der Sensor neu eingestellt ist.

15. Gewährleistung

Auf das vorliegende Qualitätsprodukt gewährt

Ihnen die Leifheit AG 2 Jahre Gewährleistung ab

Kaufdatum (bzw. bei Bestellungen ab Erhalt der

Ware). Die Gewährleistungsansprüche müssen

Sie unverzüglich nach Auftreten des Defekts

innerhalb der Gewährleistungszeit geltend

machen. Die Gewährleistung erstreckt sich auf

die Beschaffenheit der Produkte.

Ausgeschlossen von der Gewährleistung sind:

1. Gebrauchsbedingte oder sonstige natürlich

hervorgerufene Verschleißmängel,

2. Schäden durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch

bzw. Umgang (z. B. Schlag, Stoß, Fall),

3. Schäden durch Nichtbeachtung der vorge-

gebenen Bedienungshinweise. Im Gewährleis-

tungsfall gewährt Ihnen Leifheit nach eigenem

Ermessen entweder die Reparatur defekter

Teile oder den Austausch des Produktes. Falls

eine Reparatur nicht durchführbar ist und ein

identisches Produkt zum Zwecke des Aus-

tauschs nicht mehr im Sortiment verfügbar

ist, erhalten Sie ein möglichst gleichwertiges

Ersatzprodukt. Eine Rückerstattung des Kauf-

preises ist im Gewährleistungsfall nicht mög-

lich. Diese Gewährleistung gewährt zudem

keine Schadensersatzansprüche. Zur Inan-

spruch nahme der Gewährleistung wenden

Sie sich unter Vorlage des defekten Produktes

und des Kaufbelegs (Kopie) an denjenigen

Read these operating instructions carefully

before using the Airfresh Clean 400.

Warning!

• Before commissioning, check that the voltage

specification corresponds to the local mains

voltage.

• This device may only be used by children 8

years of age and older and by persons with

limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or

lack of experience and knowledge if they

have been supervised or instructed in the

safe use of the device and understand the

resulting hazards. Cleaning and maintenance

of the appliance must not be carried out by

children without supervision. Children are not

allowed to play with the device.

• Always turn off the appliance and unplug the

power cord from the outlet before moving or

transporting the appliance.

• Do not operate the device with a defective

mains plug or mains cable.

• Do not spray flammable materials, such as in-

sect poisons or fragrances around the Airfresh

Clean 400.

• Make sure that the air inlet and outlet are not

covered.

• Do not insert any objects into the air inlet of

the unit. It may damage the device or cause

injury.

• Do not use or store the product where it may

fall into a bathtub, sink, water or other liquid.

Do not reach for a device that has fallen into

water or other liquid. Do not reach into water

or other liquids, even if the unit is not con-

nected at this time. If damp, there is a risk of

electric shock when the unit is reconnected

to the wall outlet. Wipe off moisture with a

dry cloth. Do not touch the plug or device

with wet hands.

• The filter has to be changed, do not unscrew

the device beyond that. In particular, replace-

ment of the UV-C lamp by the user is not

permitted.

Caution!

• If the power outlet used to operate the Air-

fresh Clean 400 is not properly connected, the

appliance's plug will become hot. Make sure

that you are using a properly connected pow-

er outlet for the device.

• Do not place any objects on the

Airfresh Clean 400 and do not

sit or stand on it.

• Only use the original Soehnle filter, which is

specially designed for this Airfresh Clean 400.

•

Do not use the Airfresh Clean 400 after using

where oil residues, chemical vapours or incense

sticks are present.

4. Intended Use

The Airfresh Clean 400 is used exclusively for

cleaning the room air.

5. Air purification

With the Soehnle HEPA combi filter you can

remove a large number of unwanted particles

and odours from the room air. Microorganisms

and viruses are destroyed by switching on the

UV-C light.

Pre-filter:

Captures coarse dust.

Soehnle HEPA combination filter:

A HEPA filter detects dust, smoke, pollen and

other allergens. An activated carbon filter filters

odours from the air.

UV-C light:

Destroys microorganisms such as germs, viruses,

bacteria, fungal spores and mould toxins

(mycotoxins).

6. Before first use

1.

Place the unit upright on a firm,

level surface.

Maintain a minimum distance of half a meter

from the unit to each

wall.

2. To ensure optimum performance of the

unit, ensure that the air inlets and outlets are

not blocked.

3.

Check the power cord to make sure it is free

of damage.

4.

Turn and open the underside of the

unit as described in Chapter 8. Remove and

unpack the Soehnle HEPA combi filter.

Then insert the unpacked filter again, close

the device again and turn it over again.

5.

Wait until the device has reached room

temperature (approx. 2 hours).

6.

Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

7. Daily use and operation

PM 2,5 sensor and LED ring

The current air quality is continuously determined

by Airfresh Clean 400 in the form of the PM 2.5

value.

The PM 2.5 value is the fine dust load

(50% of particles approx. 2.5μm) in μg/m

3

.

The illuminated LED ring on the upper side

indicates the current level of fine dust pollution

caused by different colours:

RED = high load (>50 µg/m³)

PINK = medium load (20 - 50 µg/m³)

LILA = low load (10 - 20 µg/m³)

BLUE = no load (0 - 10 µg/m³)

Please remove the protective ap in front of the PM2.5 sensor

(C) only in an emergency. Please do not allow any objects or

other foreign bodies to come into contact with the sensor.

Switching on and off

Press the ON/OFF button (L) to turn the

Airfresh Clean 400 on or off. The ON/OFF

control lamp lights up.

First press:

Device is switched on

Press twice:

Activates the automatic mode

Press the third time:

Deactivates the automatic mode.

Press four times:

Device is switched off

The control lamps light up accordingly.

Automatic mode

By pressing the (L) button as

described

above, the Airfresh Clean 400 is also set to

automatic mode. In this mode, the unit

automatically adjusts the fan speed in

relation to the air quality in the room. This

ensures you always get the best possible

air quality. The control lamp for AUTO

lights up.

Setting the operating time

Press button (I) to set the desired oper-

ating time. Choose between 2, 4 and 8

hours. The control lamp lights up ac-

cordingly. The device switches off auto-

matically after the time has elapsed. If

no operating time has been selected

(no indicator light is lit), the Airfresh

Clean 400 runs in continuous operation.

Changing the fan speed

Press button (K) to select the fan speed

and thus the desired intensity of air

discharge:

Low (I) - Medium (II) - High (III) -

Turbo (all indicator lights on)

UV-C lamp and night mode

Press button (J) once to switch on the

UV-C lamp inside the Airfresh Clean 400

(UV-C control lamp lights up). Press again

to activate the night mode without

switching off the UV-C lamp (UV-C con-

trol lamp lights up, NIGHT control lamp

flashes). By further pressing button (J)

you can switch off the UV-C lamp (UV-C

control lamp is off, NIGHT control lamp

flashes) or switch both off (UV-C control

lamp is off, NIGHT control lamp is off).

Night mode

In night mode, you can run the Airfresh

Clean 400 without being disturbed by

additional light sources. If you activate

the night mode, all indicator lights

on

the device are switched off after 10 sec-

onds without the device being switched

off. Previously made settings for operat-

ing time and fan speed are retained. The

activation of the night mode is initiated

by a flashing of the control lamp before

the lighting is switched off completely.

The device can run either in night mode or in auto-

matic mode. These two modes cannot be activated at

the same time.

Active Restart Function

Enables operation via a controllable socket or

timer. If the power supply is interrupted, the

device remembers all settings and continues to

run automatically with the same settings as

soon as the power supply is restored.

8. Cleaning and care

Cleaning the combination filter

Regular cleaning of the combination filter (once

a month) guarantees trouble-free operation of

the Airfresh Clean 400 and maximum indoor air

quality.

Proceed as follows:

1. Switch off the device before each cleaning

and unplug the mains plug.

2. Turn the unit upside down and place it on a

firm surface (2.1).

3. Open the screw cap on the bottom of the

unit (2.2).

4. Lift off the bottom of the housing (2.3).

5. Remove the Soehnle HEPA combi filter (2.4)

and clean it.

The preﬁlter is attached to the lter with Velcro. Clean

the prelter under running water. Make sure the prelter

is dry before reattaching it to the Soehnle HEPA

combi lter. The Soehnle HEPA combination ﬁlter should

only be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.

6. Reinsert the filter and make sure it is properly

inserted.

7. Close the device (3) and tighten the screw

cap. Turn the device back the right way

round and place it on a firm surface.

Make sure that the base plate is correctly inserted and

locked into the locking guide. Also note the arrow marking

on the opposite side of the bottom gap (3). This closes the

plate airtight with the bodies.

8. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet

and turn on the power.

Cleaning the housing

Switch off the device before each cleaning and

unplug the mains plug. Clean the housing of the

Airfresh Clean 400 with a slightly

moistened

cloth.

9. Replacing the filter

The combination filter should be replaced by a

new one after approx. 4320 operating hours.

After approximately 4320 operating hours, the

ON/OFF indicator light on the instrument's con-

trol panel flashes to indicate the recommended

filter change. Only use original Soehnle filters!

To change the filter, proceed as follows:

1. Switch off the appliance and unplug it from

the mains supply.

2. Open the unit as described in chapter 8

and

remove the Soehnle

HEPA combi filter (2.4).

3. Now insert the new Soehnle HEPA combina-

tion filter into the housing. Make sure that

the new filter unit is inserted correctly.

4. Close the device and tighten the screw cap.

Please make sure that the device is properly

closed (see chapter 8, point 7). Turn the

device back the right way round and place it

on a firm surface.

5. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet

and turn on the power.

6. Press the ON/OFF button (L) for 5 seconds.

The filter time is reset.

10. Transport and storage

Transport

WARNING!

Always switch off the device before transport.

Always unplug the power cord from the outlet.

Storage

We recommend that you carefully clean your

Airfresh Clean 400 before storing it. Please make

sure that all parts are clean and dry before

storage. Store the Airfresh Clean 400 in a cool,

dry place.

11. Troubleshooting

Before performing any of the following

tests,

turn off the power and unplug the appliance.

Problem: The device does not work

•

Check that the Airfresh Clean 400 is connected

to a power source.

• Check that a filter is inserted and correctly

positioned.

• Check that the bottom cover is correctly

seated and firmly closed with the screw cap

(see chapter 8).

Problem: Insufficient airflow

• Check that the filter is clean. If dirty, clean it.

•

Check that the air inlets and outlets are not

blocked or obstructed.

Problem: Excessive noise

• Check whether there are any foreign objects

in the

fan and remove them if necessary by turning

the unit upside down.

• Check that the filter is clean. If dirty, clean it.

• Check that the filter is seated correctly.

• Check that the unit is standing securely

and straight on a firm surface.

Problem: Device shows constantly high values

• Reset the sensor: Switch on the device. Press

the ON/OFF button (L) for 5 seconds and let

the unit run for 2-5 hours (depending on

room size). The device indicates by flashing

the two control lamps ON/OFF and AUTO as

soon as the sensor has been reset.

15. Warranty

Leifheit AG grants you a 2-year warranty on this

quality product from the date of purchase (or, in

the case of orders, from the date of receipt of the

goods). The warranty claims must be asserted

immediately after the occurrence of the defect

within the warranty period. The warranty extends

to the quality of the products.

Excluded from the warranty are:

1. Wear and tear caused by use or other natural

causes,

2. Damage due to improper use or handling

(e.g. B. shock, impact, fall),

Damage caused by non-observance of the

specified operating instructions. In the event

of a warranty claim, Leifheit will either repair

defective parts or replace the product at its
