Charging

Recommended ambient temperature for charging is 41 °F to 95 ° F / 5 °C to

35 °C. The battery may not charge properly or at all under extreme low or

high temperatures.

Recommended ambient temperature for trimming is 60 °F to 95 °F / 15 °C

to 35 °C. Do not expose the appliance to temperatures higher than 122 °F /

50 °C for extended periods of time.

• Connect the appliance via the special cord set (5) to an electrical outlet.

The appliance will only charge when it is switched off.

• A full charge takes approx. 10 hours and provides up to 40 minutes of

cordless operation time.

• The charging indicator (6) in the special cord set lights up continuously

when the appliance is being charged.

• Once the appliance is completely charged, discharge it through normal

use. Then recharge to full capacity.

Usage

Attach or exchange the attachments only when the appliance is switched

off. To turn the appliance on, slide the on/off switch (3) up.

Beard Trimming / Hair Clipping

Sliding combs (1a, 1b): Place one of the combs over the trimmer head (2a).

Press the release button (1c) and slide the comb to your desired length.

Fixed combs (1d, 1e): Click one of the combs onto the trimmer head (2a).

• Trim against hair growth by guiding the flat comb part over the skin.

• Do not force the appliance through the hair faster than it can be cut.

• Avoid clogging the comb with hair. Remove and clean it from time to time.

Precision and Contour Trimming

Use the trimmer head (2a) without comb attachments for shaping

sideburns, moustaches and partial short beards.

Ear/Nose Trimming

• Remove the trimmer head (2a) and click the ear & nose trimmer head (2b)

onto the handle of the appliance.

• Carefully guide the appliance to the hair to be trimmed so that they reach

into the cutting cage. Avoid introducing the trimmer more than 5 mm

(1/4˝) into nose or ear.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Switch off the appliance.

• Take off head and comb.

• Use the brush to clean the heads, combs and the appliance.

• The removed head and the combs can be cleaned under running water.

Let them dry completely before reattaching them.

• To keep the trimmer working properly, oil it with light machine oil (not

included) regularly.

Battery removal

Mise en charge du rasoir

La température ambiante recommandée pour la mise en charge est de 5 °C

à 35 °C (41 °F à 95 °F). Il se peut que la pile ne se recharge pas correctement

ou qu’elle ne se recharge pas du tout à des températures extrêmement

hautes ou basses.

La température ambiante recommandée pour la taille est de 15 °C à 35 °C

(60 °F à 95 °F). Ne pas exposer l’appareil à une température supérieure à

• Brancher l’appareil à l’aide du cordon d’alimentation spécial (5) à une

prise de courant. L’appareil se chargera seulement s’il est éteint.

• Une recharge complète s’effectue en 10 heures approximativement et

procure jusqu’à 40 minutes d’utilisation sans cordon.

• L’indicateur de charge (6) du cordon d’alimentation spécial est allumé en

Utilisation

Fixer ou remplacer les accessoires seulement lorsque l’appareil est éteint.

Pour mettre l’appareil en marche, faire coulisser l’interrupteur marche/arrêt

(3) vers le haut.

Taille de la barbe / Coupe des cheveux

Peignes coulissants (1a, 1b) : Placer un des peignes sur la tête de tondeuse

(2a). Appuyer sur le bouton de dégagement (1c) et faire coulisser le peigne

à la longueur désirée.

Peignes fixes (1d, 1e) : Fixer un des peignes à la tête de tondeuse (2a).

• Tailler la barbe dans le sens opposé de la pousse des poils en maintenant

le côté plat du peigne contre la peau.

• Ne pas forcer l’appareil à couper plus vite que ce qui lui est possible de

faire.

• Éviter que le peigne ne soit saturé par les poils. Le retirer et le nettoyer de

temps à autre.

Taille de précision et des contours

Utiliser la tête de tondeuse (2a) sans peignes pour la coupe des favoris, des

moustaches et des barbes courtes.

Taille des oreilles et du nez

• Retirer la tête de tondeuse (2a) et fixer la tête de rasage pour les oreilles

et le nez (2b) au manche de l’appareil.

• Déplacer l’appareil avec soin sur les poils qui doivent être taillés de façon

à ce qu’ils entrent dans l’extrémité de la tondeuse. Éviter d’insérer la

tondeuse à une profondeur supérieure à 5 mm (1/4 po) dans le nez ou les

oreilles.

Nettoyage et entretien

• Éteindre l’appareil.

• Retirer la tête et le peigne.

• Utiliser la brosse pour nettoyer les têtes, les peignes et l’appareil.

• La tête et les peignes retirés peuvent être nettoyés sous l’eau courante.

Les laisser sécher complètement avant de les fixer à nouveau.

• Afin que la tondeuse fonctionne correctement, y appliquer régulièrement

de l’huile mouvement (non comprise).
