The ”Quiksilver Tide Watch System” (patent pending) is the most advanced tide watch yet from Quiksilver. It
features a huge tide data library for up to 200 surf spots around the world (Deep model) giving you the most
accurate tide information including a numeric value for tide height. The tide information contained in your
watch was calculated by a professional oceanographer based on the exact latitude/longitude, coastline shape,
offshore islands and coast retraction.
«WARNING:
MAKE SURE YOU READ THE SECTION ON DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME on page 10. The Tide
Data contained in the watch was calculated according to the GMT standard and doesn’t
take into account Daylight Savings Time. Please check the local rules on DST and make the
adjustements when needed. Just changing the time of the watch does NOT change the tide
time data.»
Your Quiksilver Tide Watch was developed and tested with the help of our team riders around the world and
passed all our tests in the heaviest waves on the planet. Your watch is actually more accurate than most tide
cally for every surf spot
instead of using the tide information of the closest harbor like most tide charts do.
