Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands.

Do not operate the device if the device or any of its components are visibly damaged.
If the power cable of this device is damaged, the power cable must be replaced by
the manufacturer, a service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent
safety hazards.
This device may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Improper repairs can lead
to considerable hazards.
The power cable of this device is equipped with a three-pin plug. Do not remove the
earthed pin under any circumstances. Plug the device into sockets that ensure proper
connection, as the device needs to be earthed.
Fire hazard
The refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit is highly flammable and in the event of a leak-
age combustible gases could build up if the device is in a small room.
In the event of any damage to the refrigerant circuit:
Keep naked flames and potential ignition sources away from the device.
Ventilate the room well.
Switch off the device.
The refrigeration circuit contains a small quantity of an environmentally friendly but
flammable refrigerant. It does not damage the ozone layer and does not increase the
greenhouse effect. Any leaking refrigerant may ignite.
Leaking refrigerant can form a flammable gas-air mixture. Do not use or store the
device in confined spaces with none or minimal air flow.
Do not use or store flammable materials in or near this device.
Keep ventilation openings, in the device and the device enclosure free of obstruc-
tion.
Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process,
other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not open or damage the refrigerant circuit under any circumstances.
Do not use electrical devices inside the device unless they are recommended by the
manufacturer for that purpose.

When positioning the device, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.
Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear
of the device.
Explosion hazard
Do not store any explosive substances, such as spray cans with propellants, in the
device.
Health hazard
This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowl-
edge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out by children without supervi-
sion.
Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload the device.
Opening the door for long periods can cause significant increase of the temperature
in the compartments of the device.
Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage
systems.
If the device is left empty for long periods:
Switch off the device.
Defrost the device.
Clean and dry the device.
Leave the door open to prevent mold developing within the device.

Lay the power cable so that no one can trip over it.
Do not use accessories or spare parts not recommended by the manufacturer.

Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line and the plug are dry.

Check that the voltage specification on the data plate is the same as that of the power
supply. Consult a qualified electrician if in any doubt.
Connect the device with an AC connection cable to the AC power supply.
