Notices

at any time. In case of sale, transfer or should you
move, remember to keep it together with the device.
! Read the instructions carefully: there is important
information about installation, use and safety.
! To prevent danger stemming from instability of the
device, you must fasten it in place, following the
assembly instructions strictly.
! Whenever moving or transporting the device, keep it
in a vertical position.
! The beverage center must not be used by children
or invalids, without supervision by an adult or a
tutor, in order to prevent the beverage center from
being used improperly.

! After installing the device, the power cable and
socket must be easy to reach.
! Keep the ventilation openings on the casing of the

! Do not use mechanical devices, or any means not
suggested by the manufacturer, to speed up defrosting.

! Contact the after sales service to replace the neon.
! The cable must not be bent or crushed.
! The cable must be checked on a routine basis and
replaced only by authorised technicians.
! The power supply cable is of a Y type. Contact the
after sales service to replace it.
! Do not use electrical equipment inside the food
compartments, unless they are of a kind suggested by
the manufacturer.
! The Manufacturer shall not be liable if any of the
above rules are not complied with.

Installation
Positioning and connection
Unpacking
1 Unpack the device immediately and make sure it
has not been damaged during transport. Should it
be damaged, do not connect, and get in touch with
the Dealer.
2 Carefully remove the protections and the
adhesives, open the door and make sure all the
components are present.
3 Take out the power supply cable.
Positioning
1 Position the device in a well ventilated area, not
damp and free (avoid cabinets with closed walls).
2 Keep the device away from heat sources.
3 Make sure the minimum distances between the
device and the walls of the room where it is placed
are kept, in order to ensure perfect ventilation of the
device.
See figure.

Wiring connection
After transport, stand the device vertically, and wait
for at least 3 hours before connecting it to the wiring
system. Before putting the plug into the power
socket, make sure that:
• the socket is grounded and according to legal
regulations;
• the socket is able to hold up to the maximum power
load of the machine, indicated on the Data Sheet
table or on the feature plate to the bottom right (see
Description of the device);
• the power supply voltage falls within the range
indicated on the Data Sheet table or on the feature
plate to the bottom right (see Description of the
device);
• the power socket is compatible with the plug of the
device. Otherwise, replace the socket or the plug; do
not use extensions or multiple sockets.

Storage compartment
The storage compartment's main function is that of
guaranteeing that your beverages are preserved in
optimal conditions.
The temperature has been set in the factory at a
temperature held to be excellent in most cases and
is 15°C=59°F in the upper compartment.
Manual temperature control
When you plug in your beverage center, the display
shows the temperature inside the beverage center: it
has been set to reach 15°C=59°F and become
steady on it. Should you need to adjust it, follow the
instructions below:
1. When you plug in your beverage center, the display
shows the temperature that has been set
2. Press the
button for one second (see the
Control Panel). The temperature will begin to blink.
3. Press the
or buttons until you reach the
desired temperature.
4. Wait 5 seconds for the temperature to stop
blinking.
5. Wait until the beverage center reaches its
temperature before you place the beverage bottles
inside.
The inside light does not go on (or it goes off
temporarily) when the inside temperature goes over
24°C=75,2°F. This allows you to reach the pre-set
temperature more quickly.
Using the beverage center
* The data is obtained by testing the product at a
room temperature of around 25°C=77°F.
Removing the wooden shelves
Follow the instructions below to remove the wooden
shelves:
1. Hold the front part of the shelf with one hand.
2. Slowly remove the shelf by pulling it toward you.
Pull out the shelf by 1/3 of the way if you need to
remove or replace bottles.
3. Remove or replace the bottles you need and push
the shelf back, making sure it locks into place.
4. Make sure the shelf is in place by trying to pull it
out once again. If it moves, push it back in again
until it is securely in place.
To completely remove the shelf, follow step 1 and 2
and remove all bottles that on the shelf. Slowly pull
the shelf toward you until you remove it from its
slots.
! Do not, under any circumstances, remove more
than one shelf at a time.
For a small number of bottles
If you do not need to store enough bottles to fill the
entire beverage center, we suggest that you divide
them up between the available shelves and that you
do not place them all on top or on the bottom.
Place the bottles in the centre of the shelves to see
them better from the outside.

Disconnecting the beverage center
During cleaning and maintenance, it is imperative that you unplug the beverage center.
Troubleshooting
If you notice that your beverage center is not working properly, check with the following list before you call your
Service Centre.

Possible causes/solutions
• The plug is not plugged into the wall-outlet or not
enough to make contact. Or, there could be a
power failure in your home.
• The wall-outlet is not in working order. Plug the
beverage center into another wall-outlet to check.
• Contact the Service Centre
! Any work that is done to the beverage center should be performed by your authorized local Service Centre.
! Short term faults, such as power failure, will not compromise the beverages. It is only when working faults are
left unsettled for a long time that the beverage may suffer.

SCHOLTÈS ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (USA & CANADA ONLY)
WHO IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY
This limited one-year warranty ("Warranty") is given only to
the original end-use/retail purchaser (the "First Using
Purchaser") of the accompanying Scholtès product(s) (the
"Scholtès Product").
If you purchased this Scholtès Product from someone other
than an authorized Scholtès reseller/dealer in the United
States or Canada, or if the Scholtès Product was used
(including but not limited to floor models or refurbished
products) prior to your purchase, then you are not the First
Using Purchaser and the Scholtès Product that you
purchased is not covered by this Warranty. This Warranty is
not transferable.
WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY
Scholtès will repair or replace any part of the Scholtès
Product which fails due to a defect in materials or
workmanship when used under normal home-use
conditions. Scholtès will also provide, free of charge, all
labor and related services to repair or replace the defective
part. This Warranty applies only to Scholtès Products
purchased and used in the United States or Canada.
Subject to the exclusions below, for Scholtès Products
purchased in, but used outside, the United States or
Canada, this Warranty covers only warranty service within
the United States or Canada (and does not include
shipping outside the United States or Canada).
LENGTH OF THE WARRANTY
This Warranty runs for a period of one (1) year from the
date of the original purchase by the First Using Purchaser.
Please note that a copy of your original purchase receipt
showing the purchase date and the vendor's name and
address are required to obtain service under this Warranty.
For the purposes of determining the applicable warranty
period, please note that any and all replaced or repaired
parts shall assume the identity of the original.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY
(EXCLUSIONS)
This Warranty does not cover:
1. Improper installation, delivery, maintenance and/or
improper operation of the Scholtès Product.
2. Damage caused if the Scholtès Product has not been
used in compliance with the electricity or gas supply
specifications printed on the rating plate.
3. Failure of or damage to the Scholtès Product if it is
altered, abused, misused, or used for other than the
intended purpose, or if it is used commercially.
4. Service trips to your home to provide instructions on the
use of your Scholtès Product.
5. Replacement of house fuses or correction of the
plumbing or electric wiring in your home.
6. Damage caused by neglect, accident, fire, floods or
acts of God.
7. Physical Damage to the appearance of your Scholtès
Product including, without limitation, scratches, rust,
dents, warping, peeling and the like.
8. Damage caused by transportation.
9. Replacement of any consumable or degradable item or
accessory including, but not limited to: plugs, cables,
batteries, light bulbs, fluorescent tubes and starters,
covers and filters, or replacement of any removable
parts made of glass or plastic.
10. Damage caused after delivery.
11. Water damage of any kind.
12. An Scholtès Product not accessible to provide required
service.
13. Problems arising from other than defects in materials or
workmanship.
14. Travel time when installed in a recreational vehicle or
marine application. This Warranty is void if the Scholtès
Product is altered, serviced, maintained, dismantled, or
otherwise interfered with by any person who is not
authorized by Scholtès.
15. Non-standard labor when installed in a marine
application.
16. Water leaks of any kind.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS
IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WRITTEN OR
ORAL, WHETHER EXPRESSED BY AFFIRMATION,
PROMISE, DESCRIPTION, DRAWING, MODEL OR SAMPLE.
ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THIS ONE,
WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED.
IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED

you may be responsible for a trip charge or you may be
required to bring the Scholtès Product to an Authorized

The foregoing are your sole (i.e., only) and exclusive
remedies under this Warranty. This Warranty is the only
warranty that Scholtès is giving for this Scholtès Product.
This Warranty replaces all other agreements and
understandings that you may have with Scholtès or its

Desembalaje
1 Desembale inmediatamente el aparato y controle
que no haya sufrido daños durante el transporte.
Si está dañado no lo conecte y póngase en
contacto con el Revendedor.
2 Quite con atención las protecciones y los
adhesivos, abra la puerta y compruebe la
integridad de los varios componentes.
3 Extraiga el cable de la alimentación eléctrica.
Colocación
1 Coloque el aparato en un lugar bien ventilado, sin
humedad y libre (evite armarios empotrados
cerrados).
2 Coloque el aparato lejos de fuentes de calor.
3 Respete las distancias mínimas entre el aparato y
el alojamiento en el que se colocará, con el fin de
garantizar una perfecta ventilación del aparato.

Conexión eléctrica
Después del transporte, coloque el aparato
verticalmente y espere por lo menos 3 horas antes

Compartimento de maduración
El centro de bebidas está compuesto por un
compartimento de maduración cuya función
principal es garantizar condiciones óptimas de
conservación de las bebidas.
Su temperatura ha sido regulada en fábrica, en
15°C=59°F, que es un valor considerado óptimo
para la mayor parte de los casos.
Regulación manual de la temperatura
Si fuera necesario, es posible modificar la
temperatura de acuerdo a lo siguiente:
1. En el momento de la conexión a la red eléctrica, el
display muestra la temperatura seleccionada para
el interior del compartimento.
2. Presione el botón
(ver Panel de control) durante
aproximadamente un segundo; el indicador de la
temperatura comenzará a centellear.
3. Presione los botones
o hasta alcanzar la
temperatura deseada.
4. Espere 5 segundos para que el indicador se vuelva
fijo; la temperatura ha sido fijada.
5. Espere que la temperatura alcance el valor deseado
e introduzca las botellas de bebidas en el centro de
bebidas.
La luz interior no se enciende (o bien se apaga
temporalmente) en cuanto la temperatura interna
excede los 24°C=75,2°F. Esta operación permite
acelerar el alcance de la temperatura programada.
Puesta en
funcionamiento y uso
Extracción de los estantes de madera
Para extraer los estantes de madera, proceda del
siguiente modo:
1. Con una mano sujete la parte delantera del estante.
2. Extráigalo lentamente 1/3 del recorrido total, tirando
hacia sí mismo.
3. Extraiga o coloque las botellas y empuje
nuevamente el estante hacia el interior hasta que
se detenga en el fondo.
4. Verifique que el estante esté bloqueado intentando
lentamente su extracción, si se mueve, empújelo
nuevamente hacia el interior.
Si en cambio desea extraer la rejilla, después de
haber completado las fases 1 y 2 y haber extraído
las botellas, debe tirar el estante lentamente hacia sí
mismo hasta que salgan completamente las guías.
! Nunca extraiga más de un estante deslizable por
vez.
Si las botellas son pocas
Si la cantidad de botellas a disposición no es
suficiente para llenar el centro de bebidas, se
aconseja dividirlas en todos los estantes
disponibles, evitando cargarlas a todas en la parte
superior o en la parte inferior. Para una mejor
visualización desde afuera, se aconseja colocarlas
en el centro de los estantes.

Mantenimiento y anomalías
Mantenimiento y cuidados
Cortar el suministro eléctrico
Durante los trabajos de limpieza y mantenimiento, es necesario aislar el aparato de la red de alimentación
eléctrica: desenchufe el aparato.
Anomalías y soluciones
Puede suceder que el aparato no funcione. Antes de llamar al Revendedor, controle que no se trate de un
problema fácilmente solucionable con la ayuda de la siguiente lista.

El compresor no funciona
El compresor no de detiene nunca
Posibles causas / soluciones
• El enchufe no está introducido en la toma de
corriente, no está lo suficiente como para hacer
contacto o bien en la casa no hay corriente.
• La toma de corriente no funciona (contrólela
conectando otro aparato eléctrico).
• Llame al centro de Asistencia Técnica
! Cualquier intervención sobre el aparato debe ser realizada por el Servicio Técnico Autorizado, si no es así, se
puede declarar la nulidad de la garantía. Después de cada intervención sobre el grupo de refrigeración, el
técnico debe controlar la estanqueidad del circuito.
! Las anomalías de breve duración, como por ejemplo la falta de corriente, no comprometen las bebidas. Sin
embargo, si dichas anomalías de funcionamiento se dejan sin resolver durante largo tiempo, pueden volverse
peligrosas para las bebidas.

Antes de llamar al Servicio de Asistencia Técnica:
• Verifique si la anomalía puede ser resuelta por Ud. mismo (ver Anomalías y Soluciones).
• Si, no obstante todos los controles, el aparato no funciona y el inconveniente por Ud detectado continúa, llame al

Esta garantía limitada durante un año (la "Garantía") se
otorga únicamente al comprador minorista/final original (el
"Comprador de Primer Uso") del producto Scholtès adjunto
(el "Producto Scholtès").
Si usted no compró el Producto Scholtès de un
revendedor/ distribuidor autorizado de Scholtès en los
Estados Unidos o Canadá, o si compró el Producto
Scholtès usado antes de su compra (por ejemplo, modelos
de exhibición o reacondicionados), entonces usted no es
el Comprador de Primer Uso, y el Producto Scholtès
adquirido no se encuentra cubierto por esta Garantía. Esta
Garantía no es transferible.

Scholtès se compromete o reparar o sustituir cualquier

para los Productos Scholtès adquiridos en los Estados
Unidos o Canadá. Sujeto a las exclusiones indicadas más
abajo, en el caso de Productos Scholtès adquiridos en los
Estados Unidos o Canadá, pero usados en otro país, esta
Garantía cubre únicamente el servicio bajo garantía
realizado dentro de los Estados Unidos o Canadá (y no
incluye el envío fuera de los Estados Unidos o Canadá).
DURACIÓN DE LA GARANTÍA
Esta Garantía se extiende durante un (1) año desde la
fecha de la compra original del Comprador de Primer Uso.
Tenga en cuenta que es necesario presentar una copia de
su recibo de compra original con la fecha de compra y el
nombre y la dirección del comercio a fin de obtener
servicio bajo esta Garantía. A los fines de determinar el
período de garantía aplicable, tenga en cuenta que toda
pieza sustituida o reparada asumirá la identidad de la
original.
QUÉ NO CUBRE ESTA GARANTÍA (EXCLUSIONES)
Esta Garantía no cubre:
1. Instalación, entrega, mantenimiento y/u operación
indebida del Producto Scholtès.
2. Daños ocasionados por no usar el Producto Scholtès
en cumplimiento de las especificaciones de suministro
de electricidad o gas indicadas en la placa de datos.
3. Daños ocasionados al Producto Scholtès o fallas de
éste por alteración, abuso, mal uso, uso distinto del
previsto, o uso comercial.
4. Visitas de servicio a su casa para brindar instrucciones
sobre el uso de su Producto Scholtès.
5. Reemplazo de fusibles en su casa o corrección de las
tuberías o los circuitos eléctricos de su casa.
6. Daños ocasionados por negligencia, accidente,
incendio, inundación o actos fortuitos.
7. Daños físicos al aspecto de su Producto Scholtès,
como rayones, óxido, abolladuras, deformaciones,
descamación y otros.
8. Daños ocasionados por el transporte.
9. Reemplazo de accesorios o elementos consumibles o
degradables, por ejemplo: enchufes, cables, baterías,
bombillas, tubos fluorescentes, arrancadores, tapas y
filtros; y reemplazo de piezas extraíbles de vidrio o de
plástico.
10. Daños ocasionados luego de la entrega.
11. Daños por agua de cualquier tipo.
12. Productos Scholtès que no estén accesibles para
realizar el servicio necesario.
13. Problemas no ocasionados por defectos de materiales
o de mano de obra.
14. Tiempo de viaje cuando el producto esté instalado en
un vehículo recreativo o una aplicación marítima. Esta
Garantía quedará sin efecto si una persona no
autorizada por Scholtès altera, desmantela, mantiene,
o realiza servicio al Producto Scholtès o interfiere con
él de cualquier otra manera.
15. Mano de obra no estándar cuando el producto esté
instalado en una aplicación marítima.
16. Daños por agua de cualquier tipo.
HASTA EL GRADO MÁXIMO QUE PERMITA LA LEY, ESTA
GARANTÍA REEMPLAZA TODA OTRA GARANTÍA,
ESCRITA U ORAL, YA SEA EXPRESADA MEDIANTE
DECLARACIÓN, PROMESA, DESCRIPCIÓN, DIBUJO,
MODELO O MUESTRA. QUEDA DENEGADA TODA OTRA
GARANTÍA, EXPLÍCITA O IMPLÍCITA, INCLUIDAS LAS
GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS DE COMERCIABILIDAD Y
APTITUD PARA UN FIN DETERMINADO. AQUELLAS
GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS, INCLUIDAS ENTRE OTRAS LAS
GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS DE COMERCIABILIDAD Y
APTITUD PARA UN FIN DETERMINADO, QUE NO PUEDAN
SER EXCLUIDAS POR LEY, QUEDARÁN LIMITADAS A LA
MISMA DURACIÓN QUE LA PRESENTE GARANTÍA.
EXCEPTUANDO LAS REPARACIONES O LOS
REEMPLAZOS ANTEDICHOS, SCHOLTÈS NO SERÁ
RESPONSABLE POR DAÑOS DIRECTOS, INDIRECTOS,
INCIDENTALES O EMERGENTES, NI POR DESAGRAVIOS
ESPECÍFICOS.
Algunos estados o provincias no permiten la exclusión o
limitación de daños incidentales o emergentes y/o
garantías implícitas, por lo tanto las exclusiones o
limitaciones antedichas pueden no corresponderle a
usted. Esta Garantía le confiere derechos legales
específicos y es posible que también goce de otros
derechos legales según su estado o provincia.

Autorizado de Scholtès.

Servicios Autorizado de Scholtès para recibir el servicio.
Los antedichos son sus recursos únicos y exclusivos bajo
esta Garantía. Esta Garantía es la única garantía otorgada
por Scholtès para este Producto Scholtès. Esta Garantía
reemplaza todo otro acuerdo o entendimiento que usted
pueda tener con Scholtès o sus representantes.

accélérer le dégivrage, des moyens mécaniques ni
quelque moyen que ce soit autre que ceux
recommandés par le constructeur.
! Veiller à ne pas endommager le circuit de réfrigérant.
! Pour le remplacement du néon, s'adresser à un
centre d'assistance.
! Le câble ne doit subir ni pliures ni écrasements.
! Le câble doit être contrôlé régulièrement et son
remplacement doit être exclusivement confié à un
technicien agréé.
! Le câble d'alimentation est de type Y, pour son
éventuel remplacement s'adresser à un centre
d'assistance.

Installation
Positionnement et branchement
Déballage
1 Déballer aussitôt l'appareil et s'assurer qu'il n'a
subi aucun dommage durant le transport. En
présence de dommages, ne pas brancher
l'appareil et prendre contact avec le revendeur.
2 Retirer avec précaution les protections et les
adhésifs, ouvrir la porte et s'assurer du bon état
des divers éléments.
3 Extraire le câble d'alimentation électrique.
Positionnement
1 Positionner l'appareil à un endroit bien aéré, non
exposé à l'humidité et dégagé (éviter les armoires
murales fermées).
2 Maintenir l'appareil loin de sources de chaleur.
3 Respecter les distances minimum entre l'appareil
et le logement à l'intérieur duquel il doit être
positionné pour en assurer la parfaite ventilation.

Branchement électrique
Après son transport, placer l'appareil en position
verticale et laisser s'écouler au moins 3 heures avant
de le brancher à l'alimentation électrique. Avant de
brancher la fiche à la prise de courant, s'assurer que:
• la prise est reliée à une ligne de terre conforme aux
normes en vigueur;
• la prise est en mesure de supporter la puissance
maximum de l'appareil indiquée dans le tableau
des Caractéristiques techniques ou sur la plaque
des caractéristiques apposée en bas à droite de
l'appareil (voir Description de l'appareil);
• la tension d'alimentation est comprise dans les
limites indiquées dans le tableau des
Caractéristiques techniques ou sur la plaque des

• la prise est compatible avec la fiche de l'appareil.
Si tel n'est pas le cas, changer la prise ou la fiche;
