1. INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on the purchase of a high quality SportsArt product, the
UB521M Platform. Constructed of high quality materials and designed for
years of reliable usage, this product was made for physical therapy, physical
rehabilitation, and commercial tness venues.
Before this product is assembled or operated, we recommend that you
familiarize yourself with this manual. Understanding the correct assembly
and operation of this product will help ensure that exercisers obtain their
tness goals safely and successfully.

2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Safety was an important consideration in the design of the SportsArt
UB521M Platform. However, during the use of the UB521M Platform, you
must pay careful attention to safety.
● For safety, operate this product only as instructed, and install only
SportsArt parts onto this product.
● Unpack and verify contents of boxes according to the list of parts to check
if any parts are missing.
● Assemble and operate the UB521M Platform on a solid, level surface;
DO NOT use it outdoors or near water.
● Follow instructions to assemble this product carefully.
● Check the UB521M Platform before every use. Make sure all parts are
assembled, and all fasteners are tightened. DO NOT use the UB521M Plat-
form if the unit is not fully assembled or if fasteners are loose or worn.
● Wear proper workout clothing; DO NOT wear loose clothing. DO NOT
wear shoes with leather soles or high heels. Tie all long hair back. Do not go
barefoot on this product.
● Do not rock this product. Please be careful in mounting and dismounting
the unit.
● If this product is damaged in any way, stop operating it. If this product has
any issue or is broken, notify the SportsArt service department.
● Contact your SportsArt representatives on all materials damaged in
shipment. (Note: Shipping damages are the responsibility of the carrier.)
● DO NOT use accessories or parts that are not specically recommended
by the manufacturer. Such parts might cause injuries or cause the unit to
fail.
● Never drop or insert any object into any opening of the product.
● Please operate this product in an area with good air circulation. Keep it
away from chemicals and ammable items. Keep it far from sprinklers and
damp areas.
● DO NOT use this product outdoors in order to extend product life.
● All users must be supervised at all times while using this product.
● Children should never be allowed to play on or near the product.
● Do not let kids under 12 years of age operate this product.
● Maximum unloading weight for this product is 180 kg, 400 lb.

2. CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
La sécurité a été un facteur important dans la conception du Système de
Soutien du Poids Corporel SportsArt Fitness UB521M Platform. Toutefois,
lors de l’utilisation du UB521M Platform, vous devez porter une attention
particulière à la sécurité.
● Par mesure de sécurité, utilisez cet appareil uniquement selon les
instructions, et n’installez que des pièces détachées SportsArt sur ce produit.
● Assemblez et utilisez le Système de Soutien du Poids Corporel sur une
surface solide et plane ; ne l’utilisez JAMAIS à l’extérieur ou à proximité de
l’eau.
● Vériez le Système de Soutien du Poids Corporel avant chaque utilisation.
Assurez-vous que toutes les pièces sont assemblées, et que toutes les
xations sont bien serrées. N’UTILISEZ PAS le Système de Soutien du Poids
Corporel si l’appareil n’est pas complètement monté ou si des xations sont
desserrées ou usées.
● Portez des vêtements de séance d’entraînement appropriés ; NE
PORTEZ PAS de vêtements amples. NE PORTEZ PAS de chaussures
avec des semelles en cuir ou avec des talons hauts. Attachez les cheveux
longs. Ne marchez pas pieds nus sur ce produit.
● Si ce produit est endommagé de n’importe quelle façon, arrêtez de
l’utiliser. Si ce produit a un problème ou est en panne, contactez le service
après-vente de SportsArt.
● N’UTILISEZ PAS d’accessoires ou pièces détachées qui ne sont pas
spéciquement recommandés par le fabricant. Ces pièces pourraient
provoquer des blessures ou endommager la machine.
● Ne laissez jamais tomber et n’introduisez jamais d’objet dans les
ouvertures du produit.
● S’il vous plait utilisez ce produit dans un endroit bien aéré. Tenez le à
distance de produits chimiques et de matières inammables. Gardez-le loin
des extincteurs automatiques et des zones humides.

4. ASSEMBLE THE PRODUCT
(a) Contact your SportsArt representatives on all materials damaged in
shipment. (Note: Shipping damages are the responsibility of the carrier.)
(b) Unpack and verify contents of boxes according to the list of parts to
check if any parts are missing.
(c) Follow instructions below to assemble this product carefully.
(d) DO NOT use this product outdoors in order to extend product life.
Note: In this manual the words “left” and “right” are used to refer to the
product and its parts. As such, these designations correspond to the
“left” and “right” sides of a person in position to exercise on this
product. Also, for brevity, the word “screws” is used where screws,
washers, and other hardware may be involved. And, for clarity, names
of keys are capitalized.
STEP 0 Preparation: Move Out the Seat
Move out the seat before assembling as shown.

STEP 1 Install the Left/Right Platform
Please follow instructions (a) through (e) to install the platforms.
(a) Remove the rear leveler (52) and the nut (51) from the end cover. The nut
(51) will not be needed.
(b) Align the platform connector (A5) with the screws hole at the bottom
(Make sure the direction is correct.) and secure it with the rear leveler (52)
as shown.

STEP 1 Install the Left/Right Platform (Continued)
(c) Install the stopper plate (A7) into the groove of the unit and secure it with
screws (34) as shown. (Note: Follow the same procedure on another
side of the unit as well.)
(d) Secure the right positioner board (A3) with screws (31) as shown.
(Note: Follow the same procedure to install the left positioner board (A4).)

(e) Set the right platform (A2) flat on the floor and align with the screws hole
in the right positioner board (A3) and secure them with screws (32) in
area A. Do not tighten screws yet. Tighten screws in area B first and then
in area A.
(Note: Follow the same procedure to secure the left platform (A4).)
P.S. Adjust the leveler of the unit or platform if there is a misalignment of
screw holes.
(1) The platform is too low if the screws in area A are below the screw
holes of the right/left positioner board (A3) (A4). Adjust the leveler of
the platform in area D upward.
(2) The unit is too low if the screws in area A are below the screw
holes of the right/left positioner board (A3) (A4). Adjust the leveler of
the unit in area C upward.

STEP 2 Wheelchair Installation
Please follow instructions (A), (B), and (C) to secure the wheelchair into place.
(A) Flip the footplates up as shown.
(B) Push the wheelchair into place to operate the product, but do not bump
product covers.
(C) Secure the set straps onto the wheelchair as follows. First, wrap the
ends of the straps around the tubes of the wheelchair, and clasp the ends
to secure the straps into place as shown. Pull the strap ends to adjust
strap length. After securing the straps, adjust the position of the product’s
body and display as necessary.

STEP 3 Seat Base Installation and Removal
Align the seat base with the glide track. Lift the lever under the seat or push
down on the foot lever. Push the seat base onto the glide track. At a suitable
position, release the lever to secure the seat base into this location. To
remove the seat base, lift the lever and pull the seat base out from the end
of the glide track.

5. MAINTENANCE
This section covers maintenance topics, including instructions on replacing
a fuse and lubricating the walk belt, along with the presentation of a
maintenance schedule, maintenance task list, one-year maintenance log,
and electronics block diagram.
MAINTENANCE Safety Precautions
● Please follow standard safety precautions when servicing on this product.
● Must be performed by trained service personnel only.
● Do NOT use a damp towel to clean the product and do perform the fol-
lowing maintenances.
● Do NOT use cleaners with alcohol, ammonia, or other damaging chemi-
cals. The use of such chemicals can damage the product and void the war-
ranty. Never spray or pour any liquid directly onto the product. Doing so can
damage components and void the warranty.
● Use a clean, lint-free towel, dampened with a mixture of Simple Green®
all-purpose cleaner, to thoroughly clean the platform.
● This product has moving parts that can be hazardous. Exercise caution
when maintaining, operating, or moving this product.

MAINTENANCE Task List
Like cars, fitness products require maintenance. Regular maintenance extends
product life, and failure to maintain products can void the manufacturer’s
warranty. Copy the maintenance log sheet, and record maintenance work
for each fitness product.
Daily tasks
1. Use a clean, lint-free towel, dampened with a mixture of Simple Green®
all-purpose cleaner, to thoroughly clean the product exterior.
