Sometimestheadjustmentofhands-freevolumeonthephoneisnecessary(only
possibleinanactivecallwhenconnectedviaBluetooth!Otherwisethetoggleonthe
outsideoftheiPhonewillonlyadjusttheringervolumeorthespeakervolumeofthe
build-inspeaker)
2. Accessorymessagepop-up
AllcurrentBMWsoftwarelevelshavebeenapprovedbeforetheavailabilityofiPhones.
Themessagehasnoeffectonfunctionandtimesoutautomaticallyafterapprox.15sec.
3. iPod/USBadaptercable(Y-cableforconnectingiPod/iPhonetotheUSBconnector)
ThecurrentlyavailablecablewillchargetheiPhonewith100mAmax(whichisnot
detectedbytheiPhoneandthusnotindicatedontheiPhone).
Therevisedy-cablefortheiPhonewillchargewithupto500mAandtheiPhonewill
indicateit’scharging(availabilityexpectedformidAugust2007)

7. Audiodrops/InterferencecausedbyWi-Fi
Onvehiclesupto3/07production(X5&Z4upto4/07)duringanactivephonecall,the
handsfreeaudiomayintermittentlydropoutcausedbytheWiFi®ofthehandset.Thisis
considerednormaloperationforBluetooth1.1hardware.Toavoidtheaudiodrops,the
WiFifunctionofthehandsetneedstobedeactivated.
Settings->Wi-FiNetworkandturnWi-FiOff.
8. ContactswithInternationalNumber
Itisnotpossibletodialaninternationalnumberiftherewasa‘+’inthenumber.All
internationalcontactsneedtobesavedwiththeprefix011.
