Instructions for use

Before using the machine make sure

that the voltage shown on the rating

plate underneath the machine corre-

sponds with the mains voltage.

Start and stop

Start

Pull out the cord and plug the machine

to a wall socket.

On/off button and power level.

Stop

Turn off the machine and unplug.

Unplug by grasping the plug, not by

pulling on the cord.

Connecting hose, tube and nozzles

1. Insert the hose connector into the

suction inlet.

2. Connect the bent tube to the tube.

3. Connect the tube to the nozzle.

4. The tube is telescopic and can be

adjusted to your height. Push the

adjusting button to extend the tube,

and pull back to shorten, to desired

length.

Change of dust bag and ﬁ lters

The size and quality of the dust bag

and ﬁ lters affect the machine efﬁ cien-

cy. Use of non original dust bags or

non original ﬁ lters can cause restricted

air ﬂ ow which may lead to machine

overload. Using non-original dust bag

or ﬁ lters will void the warranty.

Changing the dust bag

The dust bag indicator turns com-

pletely red when the dust bag needs

to be changed.

Always use original dust bags.

Changing the preﬁ lter

The preﬁ lter protects the motor by

absorbing micro-particles that the dust

bag can not keep. Change the preﬁ lter

with every ﬁ fth dust bag. The preﬁ lter

is located behind the dust bag. Always

use original ﬁ lters.

Changing the HEPA ﬁ lter

The HEPA ﬁ lter cleans the exhaust air

from micro particles the dust bag can

not keep. The HEPA ﬁ lter can not be

brushed or washed clean if not men-

tioned.

Washable HEPA ﬁ lter

Some models have washable HEPA

ﬁ lter.

Rinse the inside of the ﬁ lter using

lukewarm tap water. Do not use any

cleaning agents and avoid touching

the ﬁ lter surface. Tap the ﬁ lter frame to

remove the water.

Do not use an external heat source,

e.g. a radiator or direct sunlight to dry

the ﬁ lter.

Make sure to let the ﬁ lter dry be-

fore putting it back into the vacuum

cleaner.

Adjust the suction power

Sliding valve on the bent tube

The suction power is maximal with the

sliding valve closed and minimal when

all open. Adjust the suction power by

putting the sliding valve in the desired

position.

Power regulation

The suction power is adjusted with

slider on the machine.

Parking the tube and nozzle

There are two grooves for parking.

One located on the underside to use

when machine stands on the back,

and the other on the back to use when

the machine is standing on its wheels.

Cleaning tips

Adjust the suction power by means

of the power regulation or the sliding

valve on the bent tube.

Upholstery nozzle

Use the upholstery nozzle for uphol-

stered furniture.

Brush nozzle

Use the brush nozzle for curtains and

window sills.

Hard ﬂ oor nozzle

Use the nozzle for hard ﬂ oors.

Combination nozzle

Adjust the combination nozzle de-

pending on type of ﬂ oor.

Turbo nozzle

Use the turbo nozzle for efﬁ cient car-

pet cleaning.

The models can include different noz-

zles.

Thermal fuse

The machine is ﬁ tted with a thermal

fuse, which prevents the machine from

overheating. If the thermal fuse blows,

the machine automatically switches off

the motor and must cool before it can

be started again.

Restart

1. Turn off the machine and unplug

from the wall socket.

2. See to that nothing blocks the air

ﬂ ow through the bent tube, hose,

tube, nozzle, dust bag or ﬁ lters.

3. Let the machine cool.

4. Plug in the machine again and push

the start button. The machine will

not start until cool enough. If the

machine does not start turn it off

and unplug. Try again in a while.

Service and maintenance

• Store the machine indoors and in a

dry environment.

• Change the preﬁ lter with every ﬁ fth

dust bag. The dust bag package

includes ﬁ ve dust bags and one

preﬁ lter.

• Clean the machine surface with

a dry cloth or a damp cloth with a

little cleaning agent.

• Order original accessories from a

local dealer.

• Service – contact your local dealer.

Recycling and scrapping

Recycle the wrapping and scrap the

machine according to recommenda-

tions from the local authorities.

Cut the cord as short as possible to

avoid someone getting injured on the

scrapped machine.

Environmental commitment

This machine is designed with the

environment in mind. All plastic parts

due marked for recycling.

Responsibility

Nilﬁ sk disclaim all responsibility for all

damage caused by incorrect use or

modiﬁ cation of the machine.

Guarantee

The warranty can vary between dif-

ferent countries. Contact your local

dealer for information.

Trouble shooting

Repair or service of electrical com-

ponents such as cord or motor, must

only be carried out by an authorized

service center.

Guarantee and service

This Nilﬁ sk Coupe Series vacuum

cleaner is covered by a two (2) year

guarantee on the machine, which

covers the motor, cable rewinder,

switch and casing. The nozzles, ﬁ lters,

hoses, tubes and other accessories

are covered twelve months due to

manufacturing fault only and excludes

wear and tear.

The guarantee becomes void:

• If a defect is caused by the use of

non-original Nilﬁ sk dust bags and

ﬁ lters.

• If the identity number is removed

from the vacuum cleaner.

• If the vacuum cleaner has been

repaired by a non-Nilﬁ sk authorized

dealer.

• If the machine is used in a com-

mercial environment, i.e. building

contractors, cleaning contractors,

professional trades or any other

non-domestic usage.

The guarantee is valid in:

Denmark, Sweden, Norway,

Great Britain, Ireland, Belgium, Hol-

land, France, Germany, Poland,

Russia, Austria, Switzerland, Spain,

Portugal, Australia and New Zealand,

Addendum Australia:

Our goods come with guarantees that

The bene ﬁ ts under this warranty are in

addition to your national law of sale.

The guarantee includes spare parts

and labour costs, and covers manu-

facturing and material defects that

may occur during normal domestic

use.

Service under the guarantee will only

be performed if it can be proven that

the defect occurred within the prod-

uct’s guarantee period (a correctly

completed guarantee certiﬁ cate or

printed/stamped cash register receipt

with date and product type) and on the

condition that the vacuum cleaner was

bought as a new product and distri-

buted by Nilﬁ sk-Advance.

In the event of the repair of defects,

the customer must contact Nilﬁ sk-

Advance to be directed to a service

agent at the customers own expense.

Upon completion of any repairs neces-

sary, the vacuum cleaner will be re-

turned to the customer at the risk and

expense of Nilﬁ sk-Advance.

The guarantee does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear of accesso-

ries and ﬁ lters.

• Defects or damage occurring as a

direct or indirect result of incorrect

use - such as the vacuuming of

rubble, hot ashes or carpet deodor-

ant powder.

• Abuse, loss or lack of maintenance

as described in User Manual.

• If the machine has been used for

home renovations.

• If the machine has been used for

suction of water, plaster dust or

sawdust.

Nor will it cover incorrect or poor

conﬁ guration, i.e. setting up or con-

nection, nor ﬁ re-damage, ﬁ re, lightning

strike or unusual voltage ﬂ uctuations

or any other electrical disturbances

such as defective fuses or defective

electrical installations on the supply

grid, and defects or damage in general

that Nilﬁ sk-Advance consider to be the

result of causes other than manufac-

turing and material defects.

Bedienungsanleitung

Vor der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes

sicherstellen, dass die auf dem Typen-

schild auf der Unterseite angegebene

Spannung der Netzspannung ent-

spricht. Das Gerät wird mit Staub-

beutel und Vorﬁ lter und HEPA-Filter

geliefert.

Starten und Stoppen

Start

Das Kabel herausziehen und den

Stecker in eine Wandsteckdose

stecken.

EIN/AUS-Schalter und Leistung-

sanzeige.

Stopp

Das Gerät ausschalten und den

Stecker abziehen. Beim Herausziehen

des Steckers immer den Stecker, nicht

das Kabel anfassen.

• Reparaturen dürfen

nur von autorisier-

ten Werkstätten vor-

genommen werden.

• Nur Original-Staub-

beutel, Original-Filter

und Original-Zubehör

von Ihrem Fachhändler

verwenden. Die Ver-

wendung von Nicht-

• Vor jedem Staubbeu-

tel- oder Filterwechsel

das Gerät ausschal-

ten und den Stecker

herausziehen. Dazu

Coupé/Coupé Neo

Anschluss von Schlauch, Rohr

und Düsen

1. Den Schlauchanschluss in die

Ansaugöffnung stecken.

2. Das gebogene Ansatzrohr am Rohr

anschließen.

3. Das Rohr an der Düse

anschließen.

4. Bei dem Saugrohr handelt es sich

um ein Teleskoprohr, das sich auf

Ihre Länge einstellen lässt. Zur

Verlängerung des Rohres den

Einstellknopf drücken und zur

Verkürzung einfach einschieben.

Staubbeutel- und Filterwechsel

Größe und Qualität von Staubbeu-

teln und Filtern wirken sich auf die

Geräteleistung aus. Die Verwendung

von Nicht-Original-Staubbeuteln

bzw. Nicht-Original-Filtern kann zu

eingeschränktem Luftdurchsatz und

dadurch bedingter Überlastung des

Geräts führen. Zudem verliert die

Garantie dadurch ihre Gültigkeit.

Wechsel des Staubbeutels

Die Staubbeutel-Füllstandsanzeige

leuchtet permanent rot, wenn der

Staubbeutel gewechselt werden muss.

Nur Original-Staubbeutel verwenden.

Wechsel des Vorﬁ lters

Der Vorﬁ lter schützt den Motor durch

Absaugung von Kleinstpartiklen, die

der Staubbeutel nicht zurückhalten

kann. Den Vorﬁ lter bei jedem

fünften Staubbeutelwechsel wechseln.

Der Vorﬁ lter sitzt hinter dem Staub-

beutel. Grundsätzlich nur Original-

Filter benutzen.

Wechsel des HEPA-Filters

Der HEPA-Filter ﬁ ltert all die Kleinst-

partikel aus, die der Staubbeutel nicht

zurückhält. Ein HEPA-Filter kann wed-

er saubergebürstet noch gewaschen

werden wenn nicht ewwähnt.

Einstellung der Saugkraft

Zuluftregler am gebogenen Ansatz-

rohr

Die Saugkraft ist am stärksten, wenn

der Zuluftregler geschlossen ist,

und am schwächsten, wenn er ganz

geöffnet ist. Den Zuluftregler in die

gewünschte Position bringen und so

die Saugkraft einstellen.

Leistungsregler

Die Saugkraft wird mit dem Sauggraft-

Regelrad hinten am Gerät eingestellt.

Abstellen von Ansatzrohr und

Düse

Für das Abstellen des Gerätes gibt es

zwei Einschübe. Ein Einschub beﬁ n-

det sich auf der Unterseite des Ger-

ätes; er wird benutzt, wenn es auf der

Waschbarer HEPA-Filter

Einige Modelle verfügen über wasch-

bare HEPA-Filter.

Spülen Sie die Innenseite des Filters

mit lauwarmem Leitungswasser. Ver-

wenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel

und berühren Sie nicht die Filterflä-

che. Den Filterrahmen klopfen, um

das Wasser zu entfernen.

Benutzen Sie keine externe Wärme-

quelle, z. B. einen Heizkörper oder

direkte Sonneneinstrahlung um den

Filter zu trocknen. Lassen Sie den

Filter trocknen, bevor Sie ihn wieder in

den Staubsauger einsetzen.

Reinigungstipps

Die Saugkraft mithilfe des Leistung-

sreglers oder des Zuluftreglers am

gebogenen Ansatzrohr einstellen.

Polsterdüse

Die Polsterdüse ist für Polstermöbel

vorgesehen.

Möbelpinsel

Der Möbelpinsel ist u. a. für Vorhänge

und Fensterbänke vorgesehen.

Hartbodendüse

Die Hartbodendüse ist für harte

Fußböden vorgesehen.

Kombi-Bodendüse

Die Kombi-Bodendüse wird je nach

Bodentyp individuell eingestellt.

Turbodüse

Die Turbodüse ist für die wirksame

Teppichreinigung vorgesehen.

Die Modelle können mit unterschiedli-

chen Düsen versehen sein.

Thermosicherung

Das Gerät ist zum Schutz vor Überhit-

zung mit einer Thermosicherung aus-

gerüstet. Wenn die Thermosicherung

durchbrennt, schaltet sich der Staub-

saugermotor automatisch ab und

muss abkühlen, bevor er neu gestartet

werden kann.

Neustart

1. Das Gerät abstellen und den Stek-

ker herausziehen.

2. Darauf achten, dass der Luftstrom

durch gebogenes Ansatzrohr,

Schlauch, Rohr, Düse, Staubbeutel

und Filter nicht blockiert wird.

3. Das Gerät abkühlen lassen.

4. Den Stecker wieder einstecken und

das Gerät anschalten. Das Gerät

startet erst, wenn es ausreichend

abgekühlt ist. Falls es nicht startet,

wieder abschalten und den Stecker

herausziehen. Nach einer Weile

nochmals versuchen.

Rückseite abgestellt wird. Der andere

beﬁ ndet sich auf der Rückseite, er

wird benutzt, wenn das Gerät auf den

Rädern stehend abgestellt wird.

Service und Wartung

• Das Gerät grundsätzlich innen und

trocken abstellen.

• Den Vorﬁ lter bei jedem fünften

Staubbeutelwechsel wechseln.

Das Staubbeutelpaket enthält fünf

Staubbeutel und einen Vorﬁ lter.

• Die Oberﬂ ächen des Gerätes mit

einem trockenen Lappen oder

einem feuchten Lappen mit etwas

Reinigungsmittel säubern.

• Original-Zubehör beim nächst-

liegenden Fachhandel bestellen.

• Service – den nächstliegenden

Fachhandel benachrichtigen.

Recycling und Entsorgung

Verpackungsmaterial recyceln und

ausgediente Geräte gemäß den jew-

eils geltenden Vorschriften entsorgen.

Das Kabel so kurz wie möglich absch-

neiden, damit sich niemand an einem

entsorgten Gerät verletzen kann.

Umweltverträglichkeit

Dieses Gerät wurde mit einem hohen

Grad an Umweltverträglichkeit kon-

struiert. Sämtliche Kunststoffteile sind

mit ihrer Recyclingfähigkeit geken-

nzeichent.
