1.1 Gültigkeit der Anleitung
Diese Anleitung gilt für den Ersatz-Thermostat für die Unibox RTL.

Prüfen Sie Ihre Lieferung auf Transportschäden und Vollständigkeit.

2.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Betriebssicherheit ist nur bei bestimmungsgemäßer Verwen-
dung des Produktes gewährleistet.
Der Thermostat ist als Ersatz für den vorhandenen Thermostat RTL
der Unibox RTL vorgesehen.
Jede darüber hinausgehende und/oder andersartige Verwendung
gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.
Ansprüche jeglicher Art gegen den Hersteller und/oder seine
Bevollmächtigten wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung können nicht anerkannt werden.
Zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung zählt auch die korrekte
Einhaltung dieser Anleitung.

3. Technische Beschreibung
3.1 Aufbau

3.2 Funktionsbeschreibung
Der Ersatz-Thermostat ist nur in Verbindung mit der Rücklauftem-
peraturregelung Unibox RTL funktionsfähig.
Für weitere Informationen beachten Sie die Betriebsanlei-
tung der Rücklauftemperaturregelung Unibox RTL.
Mit dem Handrad der Rücklauftemperaturregelung Unibox RTL
können Sie die gewünschte Mediumtemperatur der Flächentem-
perierung einstellen. Der Thermostat RTL fühlt die Temperatur des
durchströmenden Mediums und dementsprechend öffnet bzw.
schließt das Thermostatventil RTL.

Transportieren Sie das Produkt in der Originalverpackung.
Lagern Sie das Produkt unter folgenden Bedingungen:

5. Montage
5.1 Thermostat montieren
Vor der Montage des Ersatz-Thermostat RTL müssen Sie den vor-
handenen Thermostat RTL (siehe Abb. 2 (4)) demontieren. Gehen
Sie dazu wie folgt vor:
1. Lösen Sie die Überwurfmutter am Thermostat.
2. Nehmen Sie den Thermostat vom Ventil ab.
Montieren Sie nun den Ersatz-Thermostat.
3. Setzen Sie den Thermostat auf das Ventil. Beachten Sie beim
aufsetzen, dass der Anzeigestrich der Fühlereinheit nach oben
zeigt und die Fühlereinheit auf Pos. 3 (Montageposition) steht.
4. Ziehen sie die Überwurfmutter fest an.

Für Informationen zur Montage des Handrades und
der Abdeckung beachten Sie die Betriebsanleitung der
Rücklauftemperaturregelung Unibox RTL.
5.2 Justierung des Thermostat RTL (Fühlereinheit)
Der Thermostat RTL (Fühlereinheit) ist werksseitig justiert. Eine ein-
wandfreie Funktion der Unibox RTL ist nur bei korrekter Justierung
gegeben.
Sollten Sie die Justierung verstellt haben, nehmen Sie die folgen-
den Schritte vor um die Justierung wieder herzustellen:
• Drehen Sie die Fühlereineinheit auf Position „3“ (Montagepo-
sition). Die Zahl „3“ muss in einer Linie mit dem Anzeigestrich
liegen.
• Der Abstand zwischen Anfang und Ende der Fühlereinheit
muss ca. 40 mm betragen (siehe Abb. 5).

5.3 Absperrposition
Auf der Absperrposition „0“ (Anzeigestrich der Fühlereinheit in einer
Linie mit der Zahl „0“) ist die Armatur abgesperrt. Ein Überdrehen
nach rechts über den Anzeigestrich hinaus bis zum Anschlag ist zu
vermeiden.

Zur Montage der Abdeckung muss der Übertragungsring
durch Linksdrehen auf Position 3 (Montageposition)
gestellt werden.
6. Entsorgung

3.2 Functional description
The replacement thermostat only functions in combination with the
return temperature control Unibox RTL.
For further information please refer to the operating
instructions supplied with the return temperature control
Unibox RTL.
You can set the desired uid temperature of the surface tempera-
ture regulation by turning the handwheel of the return temperature
control Unibox RTL. The thermostat RTL detects the temperature
of the uid being transported and the thermostatic valve RTL opens
and closes accordingly.

5. Installation
5.1 Installation of the thermostat
Before installing the replacement thermostat Uni RTL you have to
remove the existing thermostat RTL (see Illustr. 2 (4)). To do this,
proceed as follows:
5. Loosen the union nut at the thermostat.
6. Remove the thermostat from the valve.
Mount the replacement thermostat.
7. Fit the thermostat onto the valve. When tting, make sure that
the indicator line of the sensor unit is pointing upwards and
that the sensor unit is in position “3” (installation position).
8. Tighten the union nut rmly.

For information on the installation of the handwheel and
the cover please refer to the operating instructions of the
return temperature control Unibox RTL.
5.2 Calibration of the thermostat RTL (sensor unit)
The thermostat RTL (sensor unit) is factory calibrated. A perfect
function of the Unibox RTL is only guaranteed if it is correctly
calibrated.
Should you have changed the calibration, proceed as follows for
recalibration:
• Turn the sensor unit to position “3” (installation position). The
gure “3” must be in line with the indicator line.
• The distance between the beginning and end of the sensor
unit must be approx. 40 mm (see Illustr. 5).

5.3 Shut-off position
At the shut-off position “0” (indicator line of the sensor unit in line
with the gure “0”) the Unibox is shut off. Overturning to the right
beyond the indicator line until the stop is reached must be avoided.

3.2 Description du fonctionnement
La tête thermostatique de remplacement fonctionne uniquement
en combinaison avec la régulation de la température de retour
Unibox RTL.
Pour des informations plus détaillées consulter la notice
d'utilisation de la régulation de la température de retour
Unibox RTL.
Vous pouvez régler la température souhaitée du uide du système
de régulation de température de surfaces à l’aide de la poignée
manuelle de l’Unibox RTL. La tête thermostatique RTL détecte la
température du uide transporté et le robinet thermostatique RTL
s’ouvre ou se ferme en conséquence.

5. Montage
5.1 Montage de la tête thermostatique
Avant de monter la tête thermostatique de remplacement RTL,
vous devez démonter la tête thermostatique RTL existante (voir Fig.
2 (4)). Pour cela, procéder comme suit:
9. Libérer l’écrou de serrage de la tête thermostatique.
10. Démonter la tête thermostatique du robinet.
Monter la tête thermostatique de remplacement.
11. Monter la tête thermostatique sur le robinet. Pendant le mon-
tage, veiller à ce que le trait de repère de l’unité de capteur
soit orienté vers le haut et l’unité de capteur soit orienté en
positon «3» (position de montage).
12. Serrer à fond l’écrou de serrage.

Pour des informations sur le montage de la poignée
manuelle et du capot consulter la notice d'utilisation de
la limitation de la température de retour Unibox RTL.
5.2 Ajustage de la tête thermostatique RTL (unité de capteur)
La tête thermostatique RTL (unité de capteur) est ajustée en usine.
Un ajustage correct est la condition pour le bon fonctionnement de
l’Unibox RTL.
Dans le cas où vous avez déréglez l’ajustage, vous pouvez le
reproduire comme suit:
• Tourner l’unité de capteur sur position «3» (position de mon-
tage). Le chiffre «3» doit être aligné avec le trait de repère.
• L’écartement entre le début et la n de l’unité de capteur doit
être d’environ 40mm (voir Fig. 5).

5.3 Position de fermeture
Sur la positon de fermeture «3» (trait de repère de l’unité de cap-
teur aligné avec le chiffre «0»), l’Unibox est fermé. Il faut éviter de
tourner vers la droite au-delà du trait de repère jusqu’en butée.

AVIS
Pour monter le capot, la bague de transmission doit être
réglée sur position «3» (position de montage) en tournant
vers la gauche.
6. Traitement des déchets
AVIS
Risque de pollution
Une élimination non conforme (par ex. avec les déchets
ménagers) peut entraîner des dommages environne-
mentaux.
fÉliminer l'emballage dans le respect de l'environ-
nement.
fÉliminer les composants dans le respect de la
réglementation.
Si aucun accord de reprise ou d’élimination n’a été conclu, mettre
le produit au rebut.
fSi possible, amener les composants au recyclage.
fÉliminer les composants non recyclables selon les réglemen-
tations locales. L’élimination avec les déchets ménagers est
interdite.
