Il est recommandé de s’équiper de gants et de lunettes de protection pour l’utilisation de cet affuteur. Pour obtenir les meilleurs
résultats d’affutage de caps, il est recommandé d’utiliser une visseuse / dévisseuse électrique ou une perceuse pneumatique,
avec une vitesse de rotation de 400 à 500 tr/min. La tige à insérer dans le mandrin est usinée avec 3 méplats, à aligner avec
les mâchoires du mandrin pour un maintien optimum.
Cet outil permet l’affutage des caps bombés ainsi que des caps ronds. S’assurer que la lame est orientée sur le support en
concordance avec le type de caps à affuter (bombé ou rond). Appliquer la lame sur le caps ; le guide s’engage sur le caps et
permet d’aligner la lame avec la surface du caps. Appliquer une pression, mais sans forcer. Affuter le caps par périodes de 5s,
en respectant des pauses. Evacuer régulièrement les copeaux à travers la fenêtre sur le guide. Les caps bombés et ronds font
une hauteur nominale de 18mm. Ne pas affuter au-delà de 1mm de matière ; respecter une hauteur minimum du caps de
17mm.

Wearing gloves and eye-protection glasses is recommended for the use of this caps sharpener. In order to get the best
sharpening results, it is recommended to use an electric screwing tool or pneumatic drill, with a rotation speed between 400
and 500 rpm. The metal rod to be inserted in the mandrel of the tool is milled with 3 flat surfaces, to be aligned with the jaws
of the mandrel for optimum holding.
This tool allows sharpening round and domed caps. Ensure the blade is oriented on the holder so as to match the type of cap to
sharpen (domed or round). Apply the blade on the cap; the guide fits on the cap, allowing alignment of the blade with the
surface of the cap. Apply a pressure, but without pushing too much. Sharpen the cap in periods of 5s, making pauses in
between. Regularly evacuate the metal chips out of the window on the side of the sharpener. The domed and round caps have
a nominal height of 18mm. Do not sharpen beyond 1mm of material; make sure to respect a minimum height of 17mm for the
caps.
