sunlightetc.

Allowatleast10cmofspaceatthetopand10cmofspaceonbothsidesoftheapplianceandbetween

thebackoftheapplianceandthewallforadequateaircirculation.Theapplianceisnotdesignedfor

recessedinstallation(“buildingin”).



Installonagoodfirmlevelsurface,andanyunevennessofthefloorshouldbecorrectedpriorto

installation,slightunevennesscanbeovercomebyadjustingthefrontfeet.



NOTE:Iftheapplianceispositionedonacarpet,softfloorcoveringyoushouldreadjustthefrontfeet

oncetheappliancehashadtimetosettle.

OPERATION



• Thisapplianceisdesignedtooperateinambienttemperaturebetween16℃and38℃.Ifthese

temperaturesareexceeded,i.e.colderorwarmer,theappliancewillnotoperatecorrectly.Ifthe

ambienttemperaturesareexceededforlongperiods,thetemperatureinthefreezersectionwillrise

above‐18℃andfoodspoilagemayoccur.



• Removeallpackagingmaterialsfromtheappliance.Washtheinsideofthecabinetwithlukewarm

waterandbicarbonateofsoda(5mlto0.5litreofwater).Drytheappliancethoroughly.



• Whenyouusethefreezercompartmentforthefirsttimeorafterdefrosting,setthethermostatcontrol

tothemaximumpositionforatleast2hoursbeforeintroducingfoodtobestored,andthenreadjustto

thenormalposition.



• Ifthereisapowerfailure,donotopenthedoor.Frozenfoodshouldnotbeaffectedifthefailurelasts

forlessthan

12hours.Ifthefailureislonger,thenthefoodshouldbecheckedandeithereaten

immediatelyorcookedandthenre‐frozen.



Settingthethermostatknob

Theapplianceiscontrolledwithathermostatknoblocatedinsidethefridge,towardstheupper

right‐handcorner.TurntheknobfromtheOFFpositiontowardsthehighernumbersforcolder

temperatures.Theknobcanbeadjustedfromsetting1to7.



Higherset tingsontheknob(highernumbers)meanlowertemperatures(colder)inallcompartmentsof

theappliance.



Changesoftheambienttemperatureaff ecttemperatureintheinterioroftheappliancesochoosea

correctsettingofthetemperaturecontrolknob,dependingonyourambientconditions.



IntheOFFpositiontheappliancedoesnotoperate(thecoolingsystemisswitchedoff),butpower

supplyisnotinterrupted.

Setthethermostatknobtoamiddlepositiontoachieve‐18℃inthefreezercompartment.

PleaseNote:Iftheapplianceisswitchedoffyoumustwaitatleast5minutesbeforerestartingthe

applianceorre‐insertingtheplugintothewalloutlet.Thisistoallowtheprotectiondeviceinthe

compressortoreset.

Ifthecompressorfailstostartcorrectlyremovetheplugandwaitfor5minutesbeforeyoutryagain

thenthecompressorshouldrestartnormally.





Shoppingforfrozenfood

Theapplianceisrated

asa4starfreezerandcanfreezefreshfoodandstorepre‐frozenfood.Whenyou

arebuyingfrozenfood,lookattheStorageGuidelinesonthepackaging.Youwillbeabletostoreeach

itemoffrozenfoodfortheperiodshownagainstthe4starrating.



Freezingfresh

food

Ensurethatyourfreezingoperationsarecarriedoutunderthemosthygienicconditionsasfreezing

alonedoesnotimprovethefood.

Neverputhotorevenwarmfoodstuffsintothefreezercompartment.

 

Priortofreezingthefood,foodshouldalwaysbecoveredtightlywithfoil,plasticfilm,placedinplastic

bagsorstoredinairtightcontainers.Thiswillpreventfoodfromdehydratingandtopreventanystrong

odoursofsomefoodstransferringtomilderones.



Storingfoodintherefrigeratorcompartment

Donotallowrawmeattocomeintocontactwithcookedfoods.Forsafety,onlystoreraw

meat

fortwoorthreedays.Fruitandvegetablesshouldbethoroughlycleanedandplaced

inthecrisper.



Milkandotherliquidsshouldbesealedwithlidsandplacedinthebottleshelfinthedoor.



NOTE:Theambienttemperatureofthefreshlystoredfoodandhowoftenthedooris

openedaffectthe

temperatureintherefrigeratorcompartment.Ifrequired,changethethermostattemperature

settings.



Storingfrozenfood

Allfrozenfoodyoupurchaseshouldbeplacedinthefreezercompartmentassoonaspossible toavoid

themfromdefrostingandspoiling.

Allstoragerecommendationsprintedonthepackagingoffrozenfoodbythemanufacturershould

alwaysbefollowed.



Whenusingthefreezercompartmentforthefirsttimeorafterdefrosting,setthethermostatknobto

themaximumpositionforatleast2hoursbeforeintroducingfoodtobestored,andthenreadjustitto

thenormalposition.



Makingicecubes

1. Filltheicetray(notsupplied)with¾fullofcleanwater.

2. Placethetrayinthefreezercompartment.

3. Closethedoor.



Toremovetheicecubesfromthetray,putthetrayunderrunningwaterforawhileandthentwistthe

trayslightlytoloosentheicecubes.



Reversingthedoor



Refrigeratorcompartmentdefrosting

Therefrigeratorcompartmentdefrostingprocessiscarriedoutautomaticallyeverytimethecompressor

stops.

Thedefrostwaterisautomaticallyroutedtothedrainportandintoatrayplacedonthetopof

the

compressortotherearoftheappliancefromwhichitevaporates.

Makesurethedrainportonthe refrigeratorcompartmentattherearoftheapplianceiskeptclear.



Freezercompartmentdefrosting

Frostwillaccumulateinsidethefreezercompartmentdependinguponthelengthoftimeduringwhich

thedoorisleftopenortheamountofmoistureintroduced.

Itisessentialtoensurethatnofrostoriceisallowedtoformatplaceswhereitwillaffecttheclose

fittingofthedoorseal.

Thismightallowairtopenetratethecabinet,thusencouragingcontinuousrunningofthecompressor.



Thinfrostformationisquitesoftandcanberemovedwithabrushorplasticscraper.Donotusemetalor

sharpscrapers,mechanicaldevicesorothermeanstoacceleratethedefrostingprocess.Removeall

dislodgedfrostfromthecabinetfloor.

Fortheremovalofthinfrostitisnotnecessarytoswitchofftheappliance.



Fortheremovalofheavyicedepositsdisconnecttheappliancefromthemainssupplyandemptythe

contentsintocardboardboxesandwrapinthickblanketsorlayersofpapertokeepthemcold.

Defrostingwillbemosteff ectiveifcarriedoutwhenthefreezercompartmentisempty,anditshouldbe

carriedoutasquicklyaspossible.

Anincreaseintemperatureoffrozenfoodpackagesduringdefrostingwillshortenthestoragelife.

Providedthatthecontentsarewellwrappedandplacedinacoolarea,theyshouldkeepforseveral

hours.



Examinethecontentswhenreplacingtheminthefreezerandifsomeofthepackageshavethawedout.



Afterdefrostingisfinishedcleantheinsidewithasolutionofwarmwaterwitha

littlebicarbonateof

sodaandthendrythoroughly.Washallremovablepartsinthesamewayandreassemble.



Reconnecttheappliancetothemainssupplyandleavefor2to3hoursonsettingnumber5before

introducingthefoodbackintothefreezercompartmentandsettingthethermostatto

yournormal

setting.



Noisefromyourappliance

Youmaynoticesomeratherunusualnoises.Thenoisesarecausedbycirculationofrefrigerantinthe

coolingsystem.IthasbecomemorepronouncedsincetheintroductionofCFCfreegases.Thisisnota

faultandwillnotaffecttheperformanceofyourfridge.



The LED light in the appliance cannot be replaced by the user. If the LED light stops working,please

Check the appliance is level and it is not in contact with another appliance or kitchen furniture.

The appliance does not cool sufficiently.

If the door has been opened too often or it has been left open for a while it will take time for the

appliance to reach its set temperature.

Check the airflow over the rear of the appliance has not been reduced due to insufficient

clearance.

Check if a large quantity of fresh food has been introduced.

INSTALLATION



Mettezl’appareilenpositionpuisattendezdeuxàtroisheuresavantdelemettreenmarchepourla

premièrefois,letempsquelesystèmesemetteenplace.L'appareilnedoitpasêtreplacéàproximité

d’unesourcedechaleur(ex:cuisinière,chaudière,lumièredirectedusoleiletc.).



Afindepermettreunebonneventilation,laissezunespaced’aumoins10cmau‐dessusdel’appareilet

de10cmsurlescôtésetderrière.Cetappareiln’estpasconçupouruneinstallationencastrée.



L’appareildoitêtreinstallésurunesurfaceplane,solideetstable;touteirrégularitéduplancherdoit

êtrecorrigéeavantl’installation;sil’appareilestlégèrementbancal,ajustezlahauteurdespiedsde

devant.



REMARQUE:Sil’appareilestplacésuruntapisouunrevêtementdesolsouple,réglezdenouveaules

piedsavantunefoisquel’appareileststabilisé.



UTILISATION



 Cetappareilestconçupourfonctionnerdansunetempératureambiantesituéeentre16°Cet

38°C.L'appareilnepeutpasfonctionnercorrectementendehorsdecetteplagede

température.Silatempératureambianteestdépasséependantunelonguedurée,la

températuredanslecongélateurremonteraau‐dessusde‐18°Cetlesalimentsrisquentde

s'abîmer.



 Avantlapremièreutilisation,retireztouslesmatériauxd’emballagedel’appareil.Lavez

l'intérieurdel'appareilavecdel'eautièdeetdubicarbonatedesoude(5mlpour50cld'eau).

Séchezbienl'appareil.



 Lorsdelapremièreutilisationcompartimentducongélateuretaprèsle

dégivrage,mett ezle

thermostatsurlecranmaximalaumoins2heuresavantdemettrelesaliments,puisremettez‐le

enpositionnormale.



 Encasdecoupuredecourant,n’ouvrezpaslaporte.Lesalimentssurgelésnedevraientpasêtre

affectéssilacoupureduremoinsde12heures.

Encasdecoupurepluslongue,vérifiezles

alimentset,lecaséchéant,consommez‐lesimmédiatementoufaites‐lescuireavantdeles

recongeler.



Réglageduthermostat

Leréfrigérateurestcommandéparunboutondethermostatsituéenhautàdroite.Pourréglerle

réfrigérateurplusfroid,tournezleboutonducranOFF(0)verslesnombresélevés.Lethermostatpeut

êtrerégléde1à7.



Plusleboutonestsurunchiffreélevé,pluslatempératureestbassedanstouslescompartimentsde

l’appareil.



Leschangementsdetempératureambianteaffectentlatempératureàl’intérieurdel’appareil;ilest

doncimportantderéglerl’appareilenfonctiondesconditionsambiantes.


