Connections
This video camera is designed exclusively for the Digital Still Image Capture Adaptor.
When using the video camera, be sure to connect it to the CAMERA terminal as illustrated.
Incorrect connection might cause the video camera or the capture adaptor to break down.
Refer to the operating instructions of the Digital Still Image Capture Adaptor.

Precautions
• If a light source which exceeds the recommended illumination, such as bright sunlight, is
used, the image may not be displayed clearly.
• Do not focus on a stationary or bright object for too long, or the CCD color filter may be
damaged.
• Do not aim the lens toward the sun, or the CCD color filter may be damaged.
• If you record using a discharge lamp, such as fluorescent lamp, sodium lamp or mercury
lamp, flickering may occur or the color may change.
Precaution on copyright
Television programs, pictures, magazines, and other materials may be copyrighted.
Unauthorized recording or storing of such materials violates the provision of the copyright
laws.
Maintenance
• Clean the lens with a blower brush to remove dust. Do not scrub the surface of the lens.
If there are fingerprints on it, remove them with a soft cloth.
• Clean the Color Video Camera body with a dry soft cloth, or a soft cloth lightly moistened
with a mild detergent solution.
• Do not use any type of solvent which may damage the finish.

Précautions
• Si vous utilisez une source lumineuse qui dépasse l’éclairement recommandé, comme une

• Ne dirigez pas l’objectif vers le soleil, car vous risquez sinon d’endommager le filtre couleur
du CCD.
• Si vous enregistrez des images au moyen d’une lampe à décharge, comme une lampe
fluorescente, une lampe au sodium ou une lampe au mercure, un scintillement risque de se
produire ou les couleurs de se modifier.
Précautions relatives aux droits d’auteur
Les émissions de télévision, les images, les magazines ainsi que d’autres matériaux peuvent
être protégés par des droits d’auteur. L’enregistrement ou la mémorisation non autorisée de
tels matériaux constitue une infraction aux dispositions légales en matière de protection des
droits d’auteur.
Entretien
• Nettoyez l’objectif à l’aide d’une soufflette pour en éliminer la poussière. Ne frottez pas la
surface de l’objectif.
S’il y a des traces de doigts sur l’objectif, éliminez-les à l’aide d’un chiffon doux.
• Nettoyez le châssis de la caméra vidéo couleur à l’aide d’un chiffon doux et sec ou d’un
chiffon doux légèrement imprégné d’une solution détergente neutre.
• N’utilisez aucun type de solvant qui risque d’en ternir le fini.

Cette caméra est exclusivement conçue pour l’adaptateur de capture d’image fixe
numérique. Pour utiliser la caméra vidéo, raccordez-la à la borne CAMERA comme illustré.
Un raccordement incorrect risque d’entraîner un dysfonctionnement de la caméra vidéo ou
de l’adaptateur de saisie. Reportez-vous au mode d’emploi de l’adaptateur de capture
