FEATURES & TIPS
AutoSense
Unique system detects pouch thickness and self-adjusts to
optimal lamination setting.
Lamination Feed Sensor
When the machine senses a pouch has been mis-fed or has
not gone completely through the machine in normal operating
time, the machine will stop the lamination process, the Reverse
button LED will blink, and a beep will sound. Press and hold
the reverse button on the front of the machine to remove the
laminate.
’Reverse’ function
To eject the laminating pouch during use, press and hold down
the reverse button until the pouch has ejected from the machine.
‘Sleep Mode’ function
If the machine is not active for 30 minutes, the ‘Sleep Mode’
function will place the machine into standby mode. To operate
the machine, press the ‘Power On’ button on the control panel.

Cold Auto (Hot)/Cold
The Auto (hot)/cold button is used to toggle back and forth
between hot and cold laminating.
t For best results, use Fellowes ® brand pouches:
3, 5 or 7 mil pouches.
t This machine does not need a carrier to laminate. It is a
carrier-free mechanism.
t Always put the item to be laminated into the appropriate
sized pouch.
t Always test laminate with a similar size and thickness
before final process.
t Prepare pouch and item for lamination. Place item
within pouch centered and touching the leading sealed
edge. Ensure the pouch is not too large for the item.
t If required, trim excess material from around the item
after lamination and cooling.

BEFORE LAMINATING
Ensure the machine is on a stable surface.
Check there is enough clear space (min 20”) behind the
machine to allow items to pass through freely.
Plug the machine into an easily accessible main outlet.
Fit the Exit Tray to the rear of the machine.
STEPS TO LAMINATE
Switch the power on (located at the rear right side of the
machine).
The Standby button will remain on with a soft blue glow.
Press the ‘Standby’ button on the control panel. The Auto
display will flash. The auto display will turn solid and a
beep will sound when the laminator is ready.
The machine will automatically warm-up to the hot pouch
(auto) setting. Note: the laminator features AutoSense
which automatically recognizes the pouch thickness you
insert into the laminator. The laminator automatically
adjusts for hot pouches from 3 mil to 7 mil.
When the machine has indicated it’s ready, place the pouch,
sealed edge first, into the pouch / document entry. Keep
the pouch straight and central within the document entry,
not on an angle. Use the entry markings as a guide.
If cold lamination is desired, press the cold button at
any time and the cold button will blink blue. When the
laminator is ready for cold lamination the cold button will
turn solid blue and a beep will sound. Note: to use the cold
setting after hot lamination you may have to wait for the
laminator to cool down for 30 – 60 minutes.
To switch back to hot pouch laminating after cold
laminating, press the auto (hot)/cold button.
Upon exit, the laminated pouch is hot and soft. Remove the
pouch immediately. Place pouch onto a flat surface to cool.
This helps prevent any jamming.

Switch the power off located at the rear side of machine. Unplug the machine at the wall. Allow the machine to cool. The outside of
the machine can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or flammable materials to polish the machine. Cleaning sheets can
be purchased for use with the machine. When the machine is warm – run the sheets through the machine to clean any residue off the
rollers. For optimum performance, it is recommended that cleaning sheets are used with the machine regularly. (Cleaning sheet order
code #5320603).

CARACTÉRISTIQUES ET CONSEILS
AutoSense
Le système unique détecte l’épaisseur des pochettes et s’ajuste
automatiquement pour un réglage optimal de la plastification.
Capteur d’alimentation de la pelliculeuse
Lorsque la machine détecte un problème d’insertion de pochette
ou qu’une pochette n’est pas passée complètement à travers
la machine dans le temps d’exécution imparti, la machine
interrompt le processus de pelliculage, le voyant du bouton
Marche arrière clignote et une sonnerie retentit. Pour retirer
le produit pelliculé, appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton
Marche arrière situé à l’avant de la machine.
Fonction Marche arrière
Pour expulser la pochette plastifiée pendant l’utilisation,
appuyez sur le bouton de marche arrière et maintenez jusqu’à ce
que la pochette soit sortie de l’appareil.
Fonction « Veille »
Si la machine reste inactive pendant 30 minutes, la fonction
Veille la place en mode veille. Pour faire fonctionner la machine,
appuyez sur le bouton « Marche » du panneau de commandes.
Auto
Cold Plastification automatique (à chaud)/à froid
Le bouton de plastification automatique (à chaud) / à froid
permet de passer de la plastification à chaud à la plastification à
froid et vice-versa.
t Pour de meilleurs résultats, utilisez les pochettes de
marque Fellowes® : pochettes de 3, 5 ou 7 mm.
t Cette machine n’a pas besoin de carton transporteur
pour plastifier. Il s’agit d’un mécanisme sans carton
transporteur.
t Placez toujours l’article à plastfier dans une pochette de
taille appropriée.
t Faites toujours un essai de plastification avec les mêmes
dimensions et épaisseur avant de procéder avec les
documents finaux.
t Préparez la pochette et l’article à plastifier. Placez l’article
au centre de la pochette et appuyez sur le bord scellé
avant. Assurez-vous que la pochette n’est pas trop grande
pour l’article.
t Couper le matériel excédent autour du document après la
plastification et le refroidissement.

AVANT LA PLASTIFICATION
Assurez-vous que la machine est sur une surface stable.
Vérifiez qu’il y ait suffisamment d’espace libre (20 po
minimum) derrière la machine pour permettre aux articles
de passer librement.
Branchez l’appareil dans une prise principale facilement
accessible.
Adaptez le plateau de sortie à l’arrière de la machine.
ÉTAPES DE LA PLASTIFICATION
Mettez en marche (interrupteur situé à l’arrière de la
machine).
Le bouton «Veille» reste allumé en bleu.
Appuyez sur le bouton « Veille » sur le panneau de
commandes. L’affichage automatique se mettra à clignoter.
L’affichage automatique arrêtera de clignoter et un bip
retentira lorsque la plastifieuse est prête.
La machine chauffera automatiquement jusqu’au
réglage de pochette chaude (automatique). Remarque:
la plastifieuse est dotée de l’AutoSense, qui détecte
automatiquement l’épaisseur de la pochette que vous y
insérez. La plastifieuse s’ajuste automatiquement pour la
plastification des pochettes de 3 à 7 mil.
Lorsque la machine indique qu’elle est prête, placez la
pochette, bord scellé en avant, dans l’entrée des pochettes/
documents. Maintenez la pochette droite et au centre de
l’entrée des documents, pas inclinée. Utilisez les marquages
d’entrée comme guide.
Pour un pelliculage à froid, vous pouvez appuyer sur le
bouton «à froid » à tout moment ; le bouton «à froid»
clignote en bleu. Pour la plastification à froid, appuyez sur
le bouton de plastification automatique (à chaud)/ à froid.
Une fois la plastifieuse prête pour une plastification à froid,
le bouton froid arrêtera de clignoter et un signal sonore
retentira. Remarque: pour utiliser le réglage à froid après
une plastification à chaud, vous devrez attendre que la
plastifieuse refroidisse pendant 30à 60minutes.
Pour repasser au mode de plastification à chaud après
une plastification à froid, appuyez sur le bouton de
plastification automatique (à chaud) / à froid.
À sa sortie, la pochette de plastification est chaude et
molle. Retirez immédiatement la pochette. Placez la
pochette sur une surface plate et laissez-la refroidir.
Cecipermet d’éviter tout blocage.

inflammables pour nettoyer l’appareil. Il est possible d’acheter des feuilles de nettoyage à utiliser avec l’appareil. Quand la machine est
chaude - insérez les feuilles de nettoyage dans celle-ci pour nettoyer les rouleaux de tout résidu. Pour des performances optimales, il est
recommandé d’utiliser régulièrement des feuilles de nettoyage sur la machine. (Code de commande des feuilles de nettoyage N° 5320603).

CARACTERÍSTICAS Y CONSEJOS
AutoSense
Exclusivo sistema que detecta el grosor de la bolsa y se ajusta
automáticamente a una configuración de plastificado óptima.
Sensor de alimentación de la plastificadora
Cuando la máquina detecta una bolsa que no ha sido alimentada
correctamente o no ha pasado completamente por la máquina
en un tiempo de funcionamiento normal, la máquina detendrá el
proceso de plastificación, el LED del botón Retroceso parpadeará
y se escuchará un pitido. Mantenga presionado el botón Retroceso
ubicado al frente de la máquina para quitar la plastificación.
Función de retroceso
Para expulsar la bolsa de plastificado durante el uso, oprima y
sostenga el botón de retroceso hasta que la bolsa haya salido
completamente de la máquina.
Función de modo de suspensión
Si la máquina deja de funcionar durante 30 minutos, la función
‘Modo de suspensión’ pondrá a la máquina en modo de espera.
Para activar la máquina, presione el botón de encendido en el
panel de control.
Auto
Cold Automático (frío)/caliente
El botón de plastificación automática (en caliente)/en frío se
usa para cambiar de laminado en caliente a laminado en frío
y viceversa.
t Para obtener mejores resultados, utilice las bolsas
Fellowes®: bolsas de 3, 5 o 7 mil.
t Esta máquina no necesita un transporte para plastificar.
Esun mecanismo sin transporte.
t Siempre coloque el documento a plastificar en la bolsa de
tamaño adecuado.
t Pruebe siempre el plastificado con un tamaño y grosor
similares antes del proceso final.
t Prepare la bolsa y el artículo a plastificar. Coloque el
objeto centrado en la bolsa, tocando el extremo cerrado
de la misma. Asegúrese de que la bolsa no sea demasiado
grande para el objeto.
t Si es necesario, retire el exceso de material de alrededor
del objeto después del plastificado y el enfriamiento.

ANTES DE PLASTIFICAR
Asegúrese de que la máquina esté sobre una superficie
estable.
Compruebe que haya suficiente espacio (mínimo 20 pulg.)
detrás de la máquina para permitir que los objetos pasen
cómodamente.
Conecte la máquina a un tomacorriente de fácil acceso.
Coloque la bandeja de salida en la parte posterior de la
máquina.
CÓMO PLASTIFICAR
Encienda la máquina (el interruptor de encendido está
ubicado en la parte posterior derecha de la máquina).
El botón de espera permanecerá encendido con una luz azul
suave.
Seleccione el botón de espera en el panel de control.
El botón automático parpadeará. Cuando la plastificadora
esté lista, el botón automático se pondrá de color sólido y se
emitirá una señal sonora.
La máquina iniciará automáticamente el proceso de
calentamiento con la configuración de bolsas en caliente
(automática).
Nota: la plastificadora cuenta con AutoSense que reconoce
automáticamente el grosor de la bolsa que se inserta en la
plastificadora. La plastificadora ajusta automáticamente la
configuración para para bolsas calientes de 3 mil a 7 mil.
Cuando la máquina indique que está lista, coloque la bolsa,
con el extremo sellado primero, dentro de la entrada de
bolsa / documento. Mantenga la bolsa derecha y centrada
dentro de la entrada de documento, no en forma diagonal.
Use las marcas de entrada como guía.
Si desea aplicar la plastificación en frío, presione el
botón Frío en cualquier momento y el botón comenzará
a parpadear con una luz azul. Cuando la plastificadora
esté lista para el plastificado en frío, el botón de frío se
pondrá de color azul sólido y se emitirá una señal sonora.
Nota: para utilizar la configuración en frío después del
plastificado en caliente, es posible que tenga que esperar
que la plastificadora se enfríe durante 30 a 60 minutos.
Para volver a cambiar al plastificado de bolsas en caliente
después del plastificado en frío, presione el botón automático
(frío)/caliente.
Cuando sale, la bolsa plastificada está caliente y blanda. Retire
la bolsa inmediatamente. Coloque la bolsa en una superficie
lisa para que se enfríe. Esto ayudará a evitar atascos.

pase las toallitas por la máquina para limpiar los residuos de los rodillos. Para un desempeño óptimo, se recomienda que las toallitas
