HOW TO ATTACH THE NDA-3 DRILL ADAPTER TO THE CORDLESS DRIVER
SAFE USE OF CORDLESS DRIVER AND LITE-FLITE LAZER™ DRILL UNIT
Attach the side handle to the drill unit. Always securely hold the side-handle when drilling ice.
Place the NDA-3 adapter into
the center of the FND flange.
Open the chuck with your hands.
DO NOT use trigger to rotate the chuck.
Tighten the chuck on to the adapter
by hand. DO NOT use the trigger to
tighten the chuck.
DO NOT use the trigger or wear gloves
while tightening the chuck, may cause
serious injury.
Push the adapter into the open chuck.
Line up the chuck teeth with the flat
sides of the adapter.
Use the lowest speed setting on the
cordless driver.
DO NOT drill with only one hand. DO NOT hold the ice drill unit, flange or drill chuck while drilling ice.
Always place your thumb on top of the
side-handle.
DO NOT lock your grip with your
thumb around the side-handle.
DO NOT drill ice without holding
the side-handle on the cordless driver.
DO NOT use the cordless driver’s
hammer or impact function.
Push the flange with adapter into the collar of the drill unit.
Connect flange and adapter to drill unit, using collar bolt
and hex wrench.
Always place your thumb
on top of the side-handle.
DO NOT lock your grip with your
thumb around the handle.
Push the adapter in firmly
until it locks into the flange.
Insert bolt into the top hole
on the non-threaded side of
the collar.
