Congratulations on your purchase of the BONECO U350.
This high-performance ultrasonic humidifier keeps the
humidity at a comfortable level at all times.
The BONECO U350 is designed for convenient, fully au-
tomated operation. However, you can adjust all of its fea-
tures according to your preferences and requirements.
This manual shows you how you can create your own
comfortable climate.
VALUABLE INFORMATION ABOUT HUMIDITY
The right humidity is very important for our health. Dry
room air in winter leads to skin that cracks and itches. It
makes your eyes and throat feel dry while significantly af-
fecting physical comfort. Not only does this affect adults,
it is especially true for infants, small children and even
pets. Dry mucous membranes in winter also make us
more prone to colds and other infections.
The BONECO U350 makes these problems a distant me-
mory. Its intelligent automatic controls always keep the
humidity at the ideal level, even in large rooms with an
area of up to 60 square meters (650 square feet).
You will not want to give up your newly
gained comfort.

DEMINERALIZATION CARTRIDGE PREPARATION
1. Remove the packaging of the BONECO A250 AQUA PRO.
2. Rinse the A250 AQUA PRO for 2 minutes under cold
running water.
3. Screw the A250 AQUA PRO to the BONECO U350.
ON WATER HARDNESS
The BONECO U350 is supplied with an A250 AQUA PRO.
The granulate contained in it filters the lime out of the tap
water so that it is not released into the room air. Hard tap
water accelerates saturation of the granulate so that the
A250 AQUA PRO must be replaced earlier.
DETERMINING WATER HARDNESS
1. Dip the enclosed test strip into a glass of cold tap water
for 1 second.
2. Read the water hardness after one minute.
3. Refer to the table to determine the duration of effect of
the A250 AQUA PRO:
Dispose of the saturated A250 AQUA PRO with your re-
gular household waste.
The A250 AQUA PRO should not be used longer than spe-
cified. White dust around the appliance is a sure indica-
tion that the A250 AQUA PRO has run its course. You can
obtain replacements from your BONECO specialist dealer
or our online store at www.shop.boneco.us.

THE RIGHT LOCATION
The BONECO U350 releases more than half a liter of wa-
ter into the air per hour. This makes it important to set up
the appliance in the right location.
Do not place the BONECO U350 directly on the floor,
since the moisture from the mist can damage floor
surfaces such as parquet or delicate carpeting.
Make sure that the unit stands about 1 ft (30 cm) away
from the closest wall.
The unit should be placed in an elevated position,
e.g. on a table, chest of drawers, etc.
Do not direct the mist toward the wall, plants, furniture
or other objects in order to prevent water condensation
from damaging them. Maintain a distance of at least
20 inches (50 cm).

SAVE SETTINGS
The BONECO U350 saves the last-used settings when it
is switched off. However, if the appliance is disconnected
from the power supply for a few seconds, it will start in
the operating mode.
AUTO” COMFORT MODE
In mode the humidification is controlled automa-
tically and the humidity is set to 50%. As soon as the
humidity or the ultrasonic is manually adjusted, however,
the appliance leaves mode.
To return to mode, tap the symbol once.
The heater can be switched on or off without the ap-
pliance leaving mode. mode also remains
active when setting the timer.
CONTROLLING HUMIDITY
The humidity can be set between 30% and 70%. In the
“Co” setting (for “Continuous”), the ultrasonic runs re-
gardless of the measured humidity. This means it does
not switch off until the tank is empty or the appliance is
switched off.
1. Tap the symbol. The current humidity indicator
starts flashing.
2. While the indicator is flashing, tap the symbol again
until the desired humidity is set.
The value is applied after a few seconds. The indicator
stops flashing.

vel appears on the display.

SWITCHING THE HEATER ON AND OFF
The BONECO U350 is equipped with a heater that can be
turned on and off. It warms the outgoing mist up to ap-
proximately 95 °F (35 °C), so that the room temperature
stays at a comfortable level.
It takes a few minutes until the heater reaches its full
output.
1. Tap the symbol once to switch on or off the heater.
FRAGRANCE CONTAINER
Commercially available scented aromatic substances for
humidifiers can be added to the fragrance container on
the back of the BONECO U350.
Never add the aromatic substance directly into the
water tank or water base; doing so will damage the
BONECO U350 and void the warranty!

drawer.
2. Sprinkle the cotton wadding in the drawer with the
fragrance of your choice.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
With time and use, the performance of the A250 AQUA PRO
decreases and scale builds up on the inner parts of the
BONECO U350. Stagnant water can also impair cleanli-
ness and lead to unpleasant odors. This means regular
maintenance and cleaning is necessary to ensure clean
and unimpaired operation.
Recommended cleaning and maintenance intervals vary
depending on air and water quality, and operating time.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior.
Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before
cleaning.
Interval Task
