INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Hover PupTM.
Follow this cute pup for three ways to play! Explore numbers and
counting with floor play, then get up and dance with this interactive
friend. Keep the giggles going with a game of follow the leader.

removable tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part
of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.

Please save this Instruction Manual as it contains important

NOTE
Please cut and discard the plastic strap that attaches the Hover Pup
to the box. The strap is not part of this toy and should be discarded
for your child’s safety.
Unlock the Packaging Locks
Rotate the packaging locks counterclockwise
90 degrees.
Pull out the packaging locks and discard.

GETTING STARTED
Battery Removal and Installation
1. Make sure the unit is turned Off.
2. Find the two battery covers located on the bottom of the unit,
use a screwdriver to loosen the screws and then open the
battery covers.
3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
4. Install 4 new AA batteries following the
diagram inside the battery boxes. (For
best performance, alkaline batteries
or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable
batteries are recommended.)
5. Replace the battery covers and tighten
the screws to secure.
IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
• Insertbatterieswiththecorrectpolarity(+and-).
• Donotmixoldandnewbatteries.
• Donotmixalkaline,standard(carbon-zinc)orrechargeable
batteries.
• Onlybatteriesofthesameorequivalenttypeasrecommended
are to be used.
• Donotshort-circuitthesupplyterminals.

PILES RECHARGEABLES

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. On/Off/Mode Selector
To turn the unit On, slide the
On/Off/Mode Selector to Learning
mode or Follow mode
position. You will hear a song, playful
phrases and sounds. To turn the unit
Off, slide the On/Off/Mode Selector
to the Off position.
2. Automatic Shut-Off
To preserve battery life, the Hover PuppyTM will automatically
shut off after approximately 50 seconds without input or if
the front and back sensors are activated continuously for 10
minutes. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button
or sliding the On/Off/Mode Selector.
NOTE
This product is in Try-Me mode in the packaging. After opening the
package, please remove the demo tag from the bottom of the unit.
Turn Hover PupTM off and on again to proceed with normal play.
If the unit powers down or if the light fades out during play, please
install a new set of batteries.
ACTIVITIES
1. Light-Up Buttons
Press the Light-Up Buttons to learn
numbers, counting, feelings and
motions, and hear sing-along songs
and music. The puppy will dance and
move in response to the voice and
sound responses if it is on the oor.
The lights will ash with the sounds.

2. Hand Button
Give puppy a high ve by pressing
the Hand Button and hear playful
phrases and music. The lights will
ash with the sounds.
3. Front and Back Sensors
The puppy is equipped with special
sensors on the front and back of the
hoverboard. Come near the sensors
to activate them and see the puppy
ride away or rotate and respond with
playful phrases, music and sounds.
The lights will ash with the sounds.
NOTE
The infrared light sensors in the hoverboard are sensitive to sunlight.
The sensors may not perform properly in brightly lit, sunny rooms or
under direct sunlight.
4. Pick-Up Sensor
The puppy has a special sensor on
the bottom of the hoverboard and
knows when it has been picked up.
Each time you pick up the puppy,
you will hear a cute phrase. The
puppy’s heart button will ash with
the sounds.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2.
Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct
heat sources.
3. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended
period of time.
4. Donotdroptheunitonhardsurfacesanddonotexposetheunit
to moisture or water.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please
follow these steps:
1. Turn the unit Off.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to use again.
5. If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
