Important Safeguards / Consignes de sécurité importantes
Before you use the fridge, please read this owner’s
manual carefully.
• This device must be properly installed in accordance
with the installation instructions before it is used.
• Never unplug the fridge by pulling on the power cord.
Always grasp the plug firmly and pull straight out from
the outlet.
1) Repair or replace immediately, all electric service cords
that have become frayed or otherwise
damaged. Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abra-
sion damage.
2) Unplug the fridge before cleaning or before making any
repairs.
3) Do not operate the fridge in the presence of
explosive fumes.
4) The wall outlet must be properly grounded.
5) If it is necessary to use an extension cord, be sure that
the cord is (1) No. 14 AWG minimum size and rated no
less than 1500 W; (2) UL or CSA approved, (3) As short
as possible.
6) Do not use the unit in the immediate surroundings of a
bath, shower, pool or standing water.
7) Before discarding or storing, we recommend that you
remove the door and leave the shelves in place. This
will reduce the possibility of danger to children.
8) Do not expose this appliance directly to the sun or rain.
Do not use the unit outdoors for a prolonged time. Store
the unit indoors when not in use.
9) Place heavy objects near the back of the serving table
to avoid unbalancing.
NOTE: If for any reason this product requires service, we
strongly recommend that a certified technician
perform the service.
USE OF EXTENSION CORDS
Because of potential safety hazards under certain conditions,
we strongly recommend against the use of an extension
cord. However, if you must use an extension cord, it is
absolutely necessary that it is a UL-listed (in the United
States) or a CSA-listed (in Canada), 3-wire grounding type
appliance extension cord having a grounding type plug
and outlet and that the electrical rating of the cord is 15
amperes (minimum) and 120 volts.

• Cet appareil doit être installé conformément aux
instructions d'installation avant de l'utiliser.
• Ne débranchez jamais le bar réfrigéré en tirant sur le
cordon d'alimentation. Saisissez toujours la fiche ferme-
ment et retirez-la tout droit de la prise.
1) Réparez ou remplacez immédiatement tout cordon
d'alimentation effiloché ou autrement endommagé.
N'utilisez pas un cordon qui présente des fissures ou
des marques d'abrasion.
2) Débranchez le bar réfrigéré avant de le nettoyer ou
avant d'effectuer des réparations.
3) Ne faites pas fonctionner le bar réfrigéré en présence
de vapeurs explosives.
4) La prise murale doit être correctement mise à la terre.
5) S'il est nécessaire d'utiliser un cordon prolongateur,
assurez-vous que le cordon est : du calibre no 14 AWG
au minimum et nominal d'au moins 1500 W; approuvé
par UL ou CSA; aussi court que possible.
6) N'utilisez pas l'appareil dans les environs immédiats
d'un bain, d'une douche, d'une piscine ou d'eau stag-
nante.
7) Avant de le jeter ou de l'entreposer, nous vous recom-
mandons de retirer la porte et laisser les clayettes en
place. Cela permettra de réduire la possibilité d'un dan-
ger pour les enfants.
8) N'exposez pas cet appareil directement au soleil ou à la
pluie. N'utilisez pas l'appareil à l'extérieur pendant une
période prolongée. Rangez l'appareil à l'intérieur
lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé.
9) Placez les objets lourds près de l'arrière de la table de
service afin d'éviter de déséquilibrer le bar.
REMARQUE : Si pour une raison quelconque cet appareil
nécessite une réparation, nous vous recommandons forte-
ment un technicien certifié pour effectuer la réparation.
UTILISATION DES CORDONS PROLONGATEURS
À cause du risque de sécurité potentiel sous certaines condi-
tions, nous recommandons vivement contre l'utilisation d'un
cordon prolongateur. Cependant, si vous devez utiliser un
cordon prolongateur, il est absolument nécessaire que ça soit
classé UL (aux États-Unis) ou selon les normes CSA (au
Canada), un cordon prolongateur du type mise à la terre à
3-fils avec une fiche du type mise à la terre et une prise avec
une caractéristique électrique pour le cordon de 15 ampères
(minimum) et 120 volts.
Installation Before Use / Installation avant l'utilisation
It is advisable to clean the inside of the fridge with luke-
warm water using a mild detergent, and then to dry it
thoroughly prior to use.
The temperature in the fridge will depend on:
- The temperature in the surrounding area.
- The frequency and duration when the lid is open.
- Contents in the fridge
• The refrigeration system of the cabinet is designed to
operate with the cabinet located on a flat surface. Avoid
tilting the cabinet side.
• If the cabinet must be tilted on an angle for handling or
moving purposes, allow it to sit in an upright position 30
minutes prior to plugging it in and starting the cooling of
the storage compartment.

tiède et du détergent doux, puis séchez-le soigneusement
avant de l'utiliser.
La température dans le bar dépendra de :
- La température dans la région environnante.
- La fréquence et la durée d'ouverture du couvercle.
- Contenu du bar
• Le système de réfrigération est conçu à fonctionner sur
une surface plate. Évitez d'incliner le bar.
• Si le bar doit être incliné pour le déplacer, laissez-le
reposer en position verticale pendant 30 minutes avant
de le brancher et de commencer le refroidissement du
compartiment de stockage.
How to Operate / Comment faire fonctionner
Temperature control is provided by a knob on the
bottom of the unit. There is an OFF position and
8 control marks, coolest at postion 1 and warmest at
position 8 with a temperature range between 32°F and
54°F (0°C and 12°C). Variation of ±7°F (±3°C) is
expected based on usage conditions.
Suggested Temperature Control:
Beer and Soda: 39°F / 4°C
White Wine: 48°F / 9°C
Red Wine: 57°F / 14°C.
The following actions can increase the cooling function
of this product:
• When you use the unit for the first time, allow the
unit to operate continuously for 12-18 hours.
• Alternate the racks within the cooler at 6-hour
intervals to improve cooling.
• Increase the amount of space between the items
placed in the cooler. Do not overload.
Le régulateur de température est un cadran qui se
trouve au bas de l'appareil. Il comporte une position
ARRÊT et 8 positions de réglage, le plus froid à la posi-
tion 1 et le plus chaud à la position 8, avec une plage
de températures entre 0 et 12 °C (32 et 54 °F). Sur la
base des conditions d’utilisation, on peut s’attendre à
une variation de ±3 °C (±7 °F).
Température de réglage suggérée :
Bière et soda : 4 °C / 39 °F
Vin blanc : 9 °C / 48 °F
Vin rouge : 14 °C / 57 °F
Les actions suivantes peuvent augmenter la capacité
de refroidissement de cet appareil :
• Lorsque vous utilisez l'appareil pour la première fois,
permettez à l'appareil de fonctionner en continu
pendant 12 à 18 heures.
• Alternez les clayettes à l'intérieur du bar à intervalles
de 6 heures pour améliorer le refroidissement.
• Augmentez l'espace entre les objets placés dans le
bar. Ne surchargez pas le bar.
Proper Care and Cleaning / Entretien et nettoyage
WARNING: To avoid electric shock always unplug
the fridge before cleaning and moving. Ignoring this
warning may result in injury.
Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, ammonia,
chlorine bleach, concentrated detergents, solvents or
metal scouring pads. Some of these chemicals may
dissolve, damage and/or discolor the fridge.
1. Remove the contents before cleaning.
2. Wipe the inside and outside with surfaces with a
damp cloth. The addition of vinegar to the water is
good for the prevention of mold and fungus.
3. Disassemble lid for cleaning; observe orientation of
the seal ring and hinge. Ribs on seal ring face down,
and deep slot on hinge faces down. (fig. 1 & 2)
4. Dry all parts thoroughly after the cleaning.
IMPORTANT: When the fridge is not in use it must be
completely dry inside to avoid mold growth (if possible
have the lid open).
AVERTISSEMENT : Afin d'éviter l'électrocution,
débranchez toujours le bar avant de le nettoyer et
déplacer. Ignorer cet avertissement peut entraîner des
blessures.
N'utilisez pas des produits chimiques, abrasifs,
de l'ammoniaque, de l'eau de javel, du détergent
concentré, du solvant ou un tampon à récurer
métallique. Certains de ces produits chimiques
peuvent dissoudre, endommager et/ou décolorer le
bar.
1. Retirez le contenu du bar avant de le nettoyer.
2. Essuyez les surfaces intérieures et extérieures avec
un linge humide. Ajoutez du vinaigre à l'eau pour
empêcher la croissance de moisissure et des
champignons.
3. Démontez le couvercle. Notez l'orientation du joint
d'étanchéité et de la charnière. Les nervures du
joint d'étanchéité sont orientées vers le bas, et le
logement creux de la charnière est orienté vers le
bas. (fig. 1 & 2)
4. Séchez bien toutes les pièces du couvercle après le
nettoyage avant de l'assembler à nouveau.
IMPORTANT : Lorsque le bar n'est pas utilisé, il doit
être complètement sec à l'intérieur afin d'éviter le
développement de moisissures. Si possible, laissez le
couvercle ouvert.
