SAFETY INFORMATION 6
USING THE WATER PURIFIER 7
MAINTENANCE 7-11
The water purifier is installed on the cold water pipe, and
consequently only the cold water is purified. Note that the
hot water is not treated.
Check that the water you want to purify meets the require-
ments specified in “Technical data”.
•A pulsating water flow from the water purifier means that
the purifier is in standby or that the UV lamp is heating up.
Do NOT drink this water.
Do not attempt to modify or alter the water purifier in any way
at all. This could result in personal injury and/or damage to
property. These eventualities are not covered by any warranty.
The water purifier has a switch that disconnects the purifier
from electricity when top cover is removed. Do not try to
disconnect or shut off this switch when the top cover is
removed. This could result in personal injury and is not
covered by any warranty.
If the water purifier is not going to be used and exposed for
temperatures below 0°C the water purifier has to be stored,
see section “Store the water purifier”.
Once a month connections should be checked for leakages.
•In tanks containing standing water there is a risk of bacter-
ial growth. If any changes in taste or smell are detected, use
the trouble-shooting table and try to solve the problem. If
the result is unsatisfactory, do not drink the water. Contact
your dealer.
Child safety
Do not let children play with the water purifier.
Never leave packaging material lying around so that chil-
dren can play with it.
Installation and service
The water purifier must be preceded by a safety switch
where the + terminal is disconnected. The disconnection
distance is at least 3 mm.
The system (tank and hoses) has to be disinfected before
the water purifier is installed, see section “Disinfection”.
It is important that the purifier is installed standing upright
or wall mounted (vertical), horizontal in relation to the
floor. This is to ensure that drainage and leakage indication
function correctly.
The purifier must be installed in a location that does not
freeze. The temperature when in use must not fall below
+2°C. Also avoid hot locations and direct sunlight.
The water purifier must be placed close to the drinking-
water tap and installed in the cold water pipe with short
hoses (< 2 m). Long pure water hoses increase the risk of
bacterial growth and should not be used.
The water pump must be connected to the water purifier;
otherwise the purifier will not work correctly.
Ensure that hoses and wires do not become kinked or dam-
aged when the water purifier is installed or moved.
Use only genuine spare parts. See “Consumable parts”.
•A damaged water purifier must be disconnected.
Use
The water purifier is designed to produce enough water
required for a normal household in mobile homes.
The water purifier must never be operated without the filter,
except during the disinfection and descaling procedures.
If the water purifier contains descaling agents, it must be
flushed before pure water may be used.
•The system (tank, hoses and water purifier) must be disin-
fected regularly.
At the end of the water purifier’s useful life, disconnect the
power to the water purifier using the safety switch in the
central electrical unit. Disconnect the electrical wires from
the water purifier. Carefully insulate the wires. Make sure
that children cannot play with the wires.
For information on disposal of your water purifier, contact
your local authority or your dealer.
6
SAFETY INFORMATION
Before using the water purifier for the first time:
1. Check that the filter is in place in the water purifier.
2. Open the shut off valve on the inlet hose.
3. Start the water purifier by pressing the ON/OFF
button, see fig. A. The ON/OFF lamp now flashes
green, indicating that the UV lamp is heating up in
order to purify the water. If the tap is opened dur-
ing this heating up phase, a pulsating flow of non-
purified water is obtained.
4. Wait until the ON/OFF lamp glows with a steady
green light. (Depending on the ambient tempera-
ture, this time can vary up to 15 minutes.)
5. In order to flush the filter, open the cold-water tap
and let water flush for approx. 1 minute.
The water purifier is ready to be used.
Normal use:
The water purifier is in standby mode and the ON/OFF lamp
glows green.
1. Open the cold-water tap. The water purifier automati-
cally starts and pure water is supplied from the purifier.
2. Close the tap.
The water purifier is installed on the cold water
pipe, and consequently only the cold water is
purified.
Note that the hot water is not treated.
If the water purifier has not been in use for 24
hours or longer, flush it for approx. 1 minute before
consuming pure water.
MAINTENANCE
Regular Care
Listed below are things you need to remember for regular
care and maintenance of your water purifier.
7
USING THE WATER PURIFIER
When the water purifier has been installed according to the section ”Installation” it is ready to be used.
Check the indicator lamps on the control panel
once a week to ensure the water purifier is function-
ing correctly.
•Keep the outside of the water purifier clean. Wipe
off using a damp cloth.
Do not pour water over the unit and do not use
any corrosive or abrasive cleaning products.
Be sure to replace filter in time. The level of impuri-
ties in your water tank determines the life of the fil-
ter. See section “Replacing filter”.
The filter needs replacing every 6 months, when
indicated by the lamps on the control panel, when
the water flow has decreased to about half the nor-
mal amount or if the water has an unpleasant taste.
Take care not to spill any water on the water purifier.
After replacing filter, allow the used filter to drain
for a few minutes. It can then be discarded in your
ordinary household waste as it does not contain any
substances that are hazardous to the environment
(assuming the water purifier has been used for the
purpose for which it was intended).
•Once a month check for leaks in all the connections
and hoses to the water purifier.
The system (tank, hoses and water purifier) must be
disinfected regularly, see section “Disinfection”.
The water purifier needs to be descaled every
3 months during continuous operation or when the
flow has decreased and cannot be restored by
replacing the filter, see section “Descaling”.
A
Draining
Storage below temperature 0°C (32°F) and maintenance requires
that the purifier is emptied.
1. Check that the water from the drain hose is led out under
the caravan.
2. Shut off the water purifier with the ON/OFF button.
3. Disconnect the power supply to the water purifier with
the safety switch in the central electrical unit.
4. Press the Release button at the back of the purifier, see
fig. B and remove the top cover, see fig. C.
5. Close the shut off valve on the inlet hose.
6. Open the drain valve by lifting up the release button (1)
and pulling the valve out (2), see fig. D.
7. Open the filter housing lid by turning it as indicated on
the lid, see fig. E.
8. When the water purifier is empty, close the valve by lift-
ing up the release button and pushing in the valve (3),
see fig. D.
Note! Ensure that the edge of the catch really locks the
drain valve in the inner position.

Return the old UV-lamp to your dealer as it contains
mercury, which is very harmful to the environment.
Disinfection
In tanks containing standing water there is a risk of bacterial and
algae growth. The tank, hoses and water purifier must be disin-
fected regularly.
Disinfectant can be purchased from caravan/mobile homes dealers.
1. Empty the water purifier, see section “Draining”.
2. Remove the filter, see fig. F on the previous page.
3. Refit the filter lid and the top cover on the water puri-
fier and switch on the current to the water purifier

INSTALLATION
Unpacking
Check the purifier for any signs of damage and check that no
accessories are missing. Any damage, faults or missing parts
should be notified to the dealer immediately.
Do not leave packaging material lying around so that children can
play with it.
Placing
The water purifier should be installed close to the
cold-water tap so that the pure water hoses are as short
as possible, for example underneath the sink or under
the couch near the sink.
Long pure water hoses (> 2 m) increase the risk of
bacterial growth.
It is important that the purifier is installed standing
upright or wall mounted (vertical), horizontal in rela-
tion to the floor. This is to ensure that drainage and
leakage indication function correctly.
It should be easy to inspect the control panel.
It should be possible to open the top cover so that the
filter container and UV lamp can be accessed.
Connections can be routed in any direction from the
connection point. Make sure no connections are
kinked or damaged. Hoses and wires must not be
stretched either. The dimensions of the area required
for the water purifier are, see fig. A:
w: 340 mm
h: 390 mm (for maintenance h: 640 mm)
d: 180 mm
1. Mount the bracket (with 4 screws) on the wall or on
the floor, see fig. B.
2. Drill a hole in the floor to lead out the drain hose.
3. Remove the top cover by pressing the release button
on the rear, see fig. C. Lift the rear edge of the top
cover and unhook the cover at the front, see fig. D.
4. An adhesive sheet with information in various lan-
guages is available as an accessory. Choose the desired
language and install in the top cover on the purifier.

Electrical connection
The electrical connection depends on which water pump is
installed; there are two variants:
1.
Switch-controlled pump. The tap’s knob actuates an
electrical switch that connects the pump.
2.
Pressure-controlled pump. A pressure sensor on the
pump detects that the water pressure drops when the
tap is opened, and then connects the pump electrically.
Irrespective of which of the two pump systems is in use, the
following applies:
The water purifier’s screw terminal is located under
the top cover and is marked with number 1-4 in accor-
dance with fig. E.
•Route the connecting cable with a cross section of
1.5 mm
2
(measure with slide callipers on the stripped
conductor, the diameter must be at least approx.
1.4 mm).
To avoid excessively large voltage drops, the connect-
ing cables must be kept as short as possible.
The purifier’s terminal no. 3-4 must ALWAYS be
connected via a fuse and a safety switch to the battery
(12-24 V).
The purifier’s terminal no. 1-2 is connected to the
existing pump.
Be sure to connect the water purifier and the pump
to the correct polarity (positive and negative).
Switch-controlled pump
1. Connect cable (negative polarity) from the water purifier’s
terminal block, no. 1, to the pump’s negative terminal.
2. Connect cable (positive polarity) from the water puri-
fier’s terminal block, no. 2, to one side of the tap’s
electrical switch.
3. Connect cable from the other terminal on the tap’s
electrical switch to the pump’s positive terminal.
4. Connect ground lead (negative polarity) from the cen-
tral electrical unit to the water purifier’s terminal
block, no. 3.
5. Connect cable (positive polarity) from the pump’s fuse
to the water purifier’s terminal block, no. 4.
Pressure-controlled pump
1. Connect cable (negative polarity) from the water purifier’s
terminal block, no. 1, to the pump’s negative terminal.
2. Connect cable (positive polarity) from the water purifier’s
terminal block, no. 2, to the pump’s positive terminal.
3. Connect ground lead (negative polarity) from the cen-
tral electrical unit to the water purifier’s terminal
block, no. 3.
4. Connect cable (positive polarity) from the pump’s fuse
to the water purifier’s terminal block, no. 4.
16
INSTALLATION
The water purifier must be preceded by a safety
switch where the + terminal is disconnected. The
disconnection distance is at least 3 mm.

see fig. G.
2. Connect the hose to the drain valve and install the hose
clip around the hose. Check that the drain valve is
pressed in and locked (catch pressed down). See fig. H.
Water connections
The water purifier must be connected to the cold-water pipe. To
make maintenance easier, install a shut off valve on the inlet hose.
1. Install a shut off valve on the inlet hose. Leave the
valve closed.
2. Connect feed water (from the tank) to the inlet (right)
connection on the water purifier, see fig. I (A).
3. Connect the pure water (left connection) from the
water purifier to the drinking water tap, see fig. I (B).
Install the hose clip.
Make sure the hoses are connected in accordance
with the above instructions.
Install the water purifier
1. Hook the bracket into the top of the water purifier.
Push in the bottom of the water purifier. See fig. J.

BENUTZUNG DES WASSERREINIGERS 21
WARTUNG 21-26
trinken. Nehmen Sie in diesem Fall bitte Kontakt mit
Ihrem Fachhändler auf.
Kinder
Lassen Sie Kinder nicht unbeaufsichtigt mit dem
Wasserreiniger spielen.
Lassen Sie kein Verpackungsmaterial herumliegen, damit
Kinder nicht damit spielen können.
Installation und Wartung
Vor den Wasserreiniger muss ein Sicherheitsschalter instal-
liert werden, durch den der Anschluss + getrennt wird. Der
Trennabstand muss mindestens 3 mm betragen.
