Thank you for purchasing our digital photo album. Get
ready to experience photography like never before!
High quality leather case with integrated magnet in the
flap for automatic switching on/off of the digital photo al-
bum by means of a magnet switch (reed contact).
High definition LCD screen
AF 8070 memory
Your digital photo album has a memory card reader and a
USB port for the connection of USB storage media
The internal rechargeable battery provides comfortable
viewing of your photos without a power supply unit for up
to 9 hours.
Supports browse mode (thumbnails of six images per page
at a time).
An automatic, continuous slide show lets you enjoy all of
your photos with ease.

Do not make any changes or settings that are not described
in this user manual.
Setting Up the Device
The device is exclusively for indoor use only.
The device is exclusively for indoor use only. The device
should rest securely on a stabile, flat surface. Position all ca-
bles in such a way that no one will stumble on them, thus
avoiding possible injuries to persons or damage to the de-
vice itself.
LCD screen
Always handle the unit with care. Avoid touching the LCD
screen. Never place heavy or sharp objects on the LCD
panel, frame or power cord.
Protect the dev ice against direct sunlight
Protect the device against direct sunlight, heat, large tem-
perature fluctuations and moisture. Do not place the de-
vice in the vicinity of heaters or air conditioners. Observe
the information on temperature and humidity in the tech-
nical data.
Do not switch t he device on immediately after transporting it.
The device should not be switched on immediately after
being moved from a cold to a warm room or vice versa or
into a cold room which has been heated up quickly. In
such cases, wait at least three hours until the device has
adapted to the changed conditions (temperature, humidi-
ty…) .

ment complies with the voltage type specified on the unit.

2Overview
Device Overview
Using the keys on the upper side of the device, call up the
following functions.
On/Off switch
1 ON/OFF - After opening the leather case, switch the
device on/off
Arrow keys left
2 À – Select previous image / select storage medium

3 T – Confirm selection /start, stop the slide show/
switch from thumbnails to full screen
Arrow keys right
4 Á – Select next image / select memory device
Exit
5 Â - Press once, to switch to thumbnails / press twice,
to enter storage medium selection if both a USB device and
memory card reader are inserted into the device.

Mains Voltage at Setup Location
1 Insert the small plug of the power supply unit into the
port behind the flap on the right hand side of the device
Insert the power supply unit into the socket. Do not
turn the device on yet!
Using storage mediums
Inserting a Memory Card
1 Switch the device off using the on/off switch on the up-
per side.
2 Open the flap on the right hand side of the device.
3 Insert a memory card into the appropriate card slot on
the right hand side of the device. Your photo frame
supports the following memory cards: SD/SDHC/MS/
MMC.
4 Switch the device on using the on/off switch on the up-
per side. After the start screen is displayed, an overview
of the photos on the memory card appears.
If one of the parts is missing or damaged, please con-
tact your retailer or our customer service.
Check whether the mains voltage of your device (in-
dicated on the type label) matches the mains voltage
available at the setup location.

Using a USB storage device
1 Switch the device off using the on/off switch on the up-
per side.
2 Attach a USB storage device (hard disc, USB memory
stick,…) to the USB port on the right hand side of the
device.
3 Switch the device on using the on/off switch on the up-
per side. After the start screen is displayed, an overview
of the photos on the USB storage device appears.
Selecting the storage medium
If both a USB storage device and a memory card are insert-
ed, a storage device selection menu appears after the device
has been switched on.
1 Use À/Á to select the desired storage medium.
2 Confirm with T.
3 Use  to return to the storage device selection menu.
Reed switch
You can configure your digital photo album in such a way
that by opening the flap of the leather case, the device is au-
tomatically switched on.
A small magnet in the flap of the leather case activates a
magnetic switch (Reed contact) in the device. As a result,
the digital photo album can also be switched on/off only
with the flap of the case.
1 Open the flap of the case.
2 Switch the device on using the on/off switch on the up-
per side of the device.
3 Close the flap.
Each time you open the flap, the digital photo album is au-
tomatically switched on.
If no memory card is inserted, ’NO CARD, Please
insert card’ appears on the screen.
If the inserted storage medium contains no photos,
No photo’ appears on the screen.
If you use the digital photo album without the leath-
er case as a digital photo frame, the magnetic switch
does not work. In this case, switch the device on us-
ing the on/off switch on the upper side of the device.

7 End the slide show using Â.

device attached, use À/Á to select the desired
storage medium and confirm using T.

Problems Solutions
The digital photoalbum cannot be switched on. Make sure that the built-in battery is fully charged or that
the power supply unit is connected to the frame correctly.
Not all JPEG files are recognised. Only JPEG files from digital cameras are recognised. JPEG
files downloaded from the internet or JPEG files created
with an image processing application may not be recog-
nised.
Memory card can not be recognized Check whether the type of memory card is compatible
with the device.
Switch off the device and check the correct insertion di-
rection of the memory card.
Check the memory card for damage.
Please note that some digital cameras save images in a
non-standard format. Consult the user manual of your
digital camera for further information.
