PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO
EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY
1. Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since open-door operation can result in
harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety inter-
locks.
2. Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue to
accumulate on sealing surfaces.
3. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door closes prop-
erly and that there is no damage to the:
a) Door (bent),
b) Hinges and latches (broken or loosened),
c) Door seals and sealing surfaces.

17. Liquids, such as water, coffee, or tea can be overheated beyond the boiling point without appearing to be boiling due to
surface tension of the liquid. Visible bubbling or boiling when the container is removed from the microwave oven is not
always present. THIS COULD RESULT IN VERY HOT LIQUIDS SUDDENLY BOILING OVER WHEN A SPOON OR
OTHER UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE LIQUID.

• Do not overheat the liquid.
• Stir the liquid both before and halfway through heating it.

PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
1. Make sure that all the packing materials are removed from the inside of the door.
2. Check the oven for any damage, such as misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and sealing surface, broken
or loose door hinges and latches and dents inside the cavity or on the door. If there is any damage, do not operate the
oven but contact qualified service personnel.
3. This microwave oven must be placed on a flat, stable surface to hold its weight and the heaviest food likely to be
cooked in the oven.
4. Do not place the oven where heat, moisture or high humidity are generated, or near combustible materials.
5. For correct operation, the oven must have sufficient airflow. Allow 8 inches of space above the oven, 4 inches at the
back and 2 inches at both sides. Do not cover or block any openings on the appliance. Do not remove the feet on
which the oven stands.
6. Do not operate the oven without the turntable and roller guide in their proper positions.
7. Make sure that the power supply cord is undamaged and does not run under the oven or over any hot or sharp sur-
face.
8. Radio or TV Interference
Should there be any interference caused by the microwave oven to your radio or TV, check that the microwave oven is
on a different circuit, relocate the radio or TV as far away from the microwave as is feasible or check the position and
signal of the receiving antenna. Unauthorized modifications to this device could void the user’s authority to operate it.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces risk of electric shock by
providing an escape wire for the electric current. The appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a
grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
WARNING: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock.
Consult a qualified electrician or service professional if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if
doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded.
If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord that has a 3-prong grounding plug and a
3-slot receptacle that will accept the plug on the appliance. The marked rating of the extension cord shall be equal to
or greater than the electrical rating of the appliance.
Power Supply Cord
1. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a
longer cord.
2. Longer cord sets or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
3. If long cord or extension cord is used:
a) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance.
b) The extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
c) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or table to where it can be

FEATURES
As an added security feature for your microwave, there is a safety bracket.
This bracket ensures that the attached refrigerator remains securely plugged
into the back of the unit. This bracket requires installation if your refrigerator
has not been previously installed under the microwave.
To install the bracket:
• Remove the screws that are in the pre-drilled bracket holes at the back of
the unit.
• Place the bracket over the back of the unit, there are 2 holes that have
been previously drilled to fit the screws.
• Screw the bracket into place diagonally over the refrigerator’s 115V plug.
Note: The bracket can be found in the accessory bag, located with the
Owner’s Manual. The 2 screws that are in the bracket bag are spare screws,
when installing the bracket, use the screws that are already placed in the
pre-drilled holes.

IMPORTANT
Power is disengaged to the rear outlet during microwave operation. The power outlet on the back of the microwave is
equipped with a three minute time delay. When a refrigerator is plugged into the back of the unit and the microwave
is turned on, the refrigerator will not turn on for three minutes after the microwave has stopped running. This is to
ensure that no damage is done to the refrigerator and that a fuse in your home does not blow during microwave
operation.

•This is a 12-hour cycle clock. When the oven is first plugged in or when power resumes after a power interruption, the dis-

SETTING THE OVEN TIMER

2. Enter the amount of time by touching the number pads.
3. Touch START/STOP.
NOTE:
• The maximum time you can enter is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.
• Time countdown can be seen on the display before clock or cooking time returns to the display.
• Touch TIMER and then touch RESET to cancel TIMER during timing process.
SETTING A COOKING PROGRAM
A. One-stage Cooking
1. Use the number pads to set a cooking time. You can set a cooking time from one second to 99 minutes and 99 seconds.
2. If you want to set a power level other than 100% power, touch POWER LEVEL and then use the number pads to enter
the power level.
3. Touch START/STOP to start cooking.
B. Two-stage Cooking
Some recipes require different stages of cooking at different temperatures.
1. SET STAGE 1:
Follow steps 1 and 2 in “One-stage Cooking”. DO NOT TOUCH START/STOP.
2. SET STAGE 2:
Touch COOK then enter proper cooking time and (lower) power level. (Most 2-stage recipes use lower power for second
stage.)
3. Touch START/STOP.
SPEED DEFROST
1. Touch SPEED DEFROST pad.
2. Enter desired defrosting time by touching correct number pads.
3. Touch START/STOP.
NOTE:
• The longest defrosting time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.
• During the defrosting process, the system beeps to remind you to turn food over for uniform defrosting. Then press
START/STOP to resume.
• After setting SPEED DEFROST the oven can be programmed to automatically switch to one or two-stage cooking.
• For speed defrost and one stage cooking, follow the steps above. Before touching START/STOP, touch COOK; enter
time and power level and then touch START/STOP.
• For speed defrost and two stage cooking, follow the steps above. Before touching START/STOP, touch COOK; enter
two-stage cooking programs and then touch START/STOP.

SETTING THE CHILD LOCK
The child lock prevents unsupervised operation by children.
To set: In standby mode, press and hold RESET for 3 seconds. Lock indication appears on the display.
To cancel: Press and hold RESET for 3 seconds. Lock indication disappears.
QUICK COOK SETTINGS
The QUICK COOK settings allow you to cook or reheat food automatically without entering power level or time.
For smaller portions, simply touch the applicable pad and START/STOP. For larger portions, press the pad twice.
FROZEN DINNER, BAKED POTATO and BEVERAGE allow you to cook multiple amounts of the same food. Simply
touch pad once, ENTER AMT appears in the display. Enter the amount of servings and touch START/STOP.
BAKED POTATO
For potatoes (4 to 6 oz. each):
1. Touch POTATO once.
2. Enter number of potatoes by touching number pads from 1 to 4.
3. Touch START/STOP.
For larger potatoes (8 to 10 oz. each):
1. Touch POTATO twice.
2. Enter number of potatoes by touching number pads from 1 to 4.

POPCORN
1. Touch POPCORN. POPCORN automatically sets the cooking time for a 3.5 oz. bag of microwave popcorn.

NOTE:
To change the preset POPCORN time: Touch POPCORN twice. ENTER TIME is displayed. Touch number pads to
enter minutes and seconds. Touch START/STOP. This new cooking time will remain whenever you use the POP-
CORN setting until you reset it.

NOTE:
This setting lets you reheat a dinner plate of chilled leftovers with good results.
1. When cleaning surfaces of door and oven that come together on closing the door, use only mild, nonabrasive
soaps, or detergents applied with a sponge or soft cloth.
2. Turn off the oven and remove the power plug from the wall socket before cleaning.
3. Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food splatters or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls, wipe with a damp
cloth. Mild detergent may be used if the oven gets very dirty. Avoid the use of spray and other harsh cleaners as they
may stain, streak or dull the door surface.
4. The outside surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth. To prevent damage to the operating parts inside the
oven, water should not be allowed to seep into the ventilation openings.
5. Wipe the window on both sides with a damp cloth to remove any spills or spatters.
6. Do not allow the control panel to become wet. Clean with a soft, damp cloth. When cleaning the control panel,
leave oven door open to prevent oven from accidentally turning on.
7. If steam accumulates inside or around the outside of the oven door, wipe with a soft cloth. This may occur when
the microwave oven is operated under high humidity conditions; this is normal.
8. It is occasionally necessary to remove the glass turntable for cleaning. Wash the turntable in warm sudsy water or
in a dishwasher.
9. The roller guide and oven floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise. Simply wipe the bottom sur-
face of the oven with mild detergent. The roller ring may be washed in mild sudsy water. When removing the roller
guide from cavity floor for cleaning, be sure to replace in the proper position.
10. Remove odors from your oven by combining a cup of water with the juice and skin of one lemon in a deep bowl,
microwave for 5 minutes. Wipe thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.

• Réorienter l’antenne réceptrice de la radio ou de la télévision;
• Déplacer le four à micro-ondes par rapport au récepteur;
• Éloigner le four à micro-ondes du récepteur;
• Brancher le four à micro-ondes dans une prise différente afi n qu’il ne se trouve pas sur le même circuit que le
récepteur.
Le fabricant n’est pas responsable des interférences radiophoniques ou télévisuelles causées par une MODIFICA-
TION NON AUTORISÉE à ce four à micro-ondes. L’utilisateur est responsable de la correction de telles interférences.
Cet appareil ISM est conforme à la norme NMB-001 du Canada.

1. Veuillez lire toutes ces consignes avant d’utiliser l’appareil.

3. Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. Ne branchez cet appareil que sur une prise correctement mise à la terre. Voir «
INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À LA TERRE ».
4. Installez ou placez cet appareil conformément aux instructions d’installation fournies.
5. Certains produits comme des œufs entiers et des récipients fermés, comme des bocaux en verre fermés, pour-
raient exploser et ne doivent pas être chauffés dans ce four.
6. N’utilisez cet appareil qu’aux fins pour lesquelles il est conçu, tel que décrit dans ce guide d’utilisation. Ne pas
utiliser de produits chimiques corrosifs ou de vapeurs corrosives dans cet appareil. Ce type de four est conçu spé-
cialement pour chauffer, cuire ou assécher de la nourriture. Il n’est pas conçu pour une utilisation industrielle ou en
laboratoire.
7. Comme avec tout appareil électroménager, il est important de toujours bien surveiller les enfants lorsqu’ils l’u-
tilisent.
8. Ne faites pas fonctionner cet appareil si la prise ou le cordon est endommagé, s’il ne fonctionne pas correctement,
s’il a été endommagé ou s’il est tombé.
9. L’entretien et les réparations du produit ne peuvent être effectués que par du personnel qualifié. Communiquez
avec MicroFridge®, 2, Annette Road, Suite 3, Foxborough, MA 02035 ou au 1-800-637-7567 pour obtenir les coor-
données du réparateur autorisé le plus proche pour examiner, réparer ou ajuster l’appareil.
10. Ne pas couvrir ni bloquer les ouvertures de l’appareil.
11. Ne pas entreposer ou utiliser ce four à l’extérieur. N’utilisez pas ce produit à proximité de l’eau, par exemple, près
d’un évier, dans un sous-sol humide, près d’une piscine ou dans un endroit similaire.
12. N’immergez pas le cordon ou la prise dans l’eau.
13. Garder le cordon d’alimentation à l’écart des surfaces chaudes.
14. Ne laissez pas le cordon électrique pendre du bord d’une table ou d’un plan de travail.
15. Lorsque vous nettoyez les surfaces de la porte et du four qui sont en contact lorsque vous fermez la porte, utilisez
du savon ou du détergent doux, non-abrasif et appliquez-le à l’aide d’une éponge ou d’un chiffon doux.
16. Pour réduire le risque d’incendie dans la cavité du four :
• Ne pas faire cuire les aliments trop longtemps. Surveillez minutieusement l’appareil lorsque du papier, du plastique
ou toute autre matière inflammable est placée dans le four pour faciliter la cuisson.
• Retirez les liens torsadés de l’emballage en papier ou en plastique avant de placer le sac dans le four.
• Si une matière dans le four prend feu, laissez la porte du four fermée, éteignez le four et débranchez le cordon d’al-
imentation ou coupez l’alimentation au fusible ou au tableau disjoncteurs.
• Ne pas utiliser la cavité à des fins d’entreposage. Ne laissez pas de produits en papier, d’ustensiles de cuisine ou
de nourriture dans la cavité lorsque le four n’est pas utilisé.

17. Les liquides, comme l’eau, le café ou le thé peuvent être chauffés au-delà du point d’ébullition sans en avoir l’ap-
parence en raison de la tension de surface du liquide. Des bulles ou d’autres signes visibles d’ébullition ne sont pas tou-
jours présents lorsque le récipient est sorti du four à micro-ondes. CELA PEUT ENTRAÎNER LE DÉBORDEMENT
SOUDAIN DE LIQUIDES BRÛLANTS LORSQU’UNE CUILLÈRE OU UN AUTRE USTENSILE EST PLONGÉ DANS LE
LIQUIDE.
18. Pour réduire le risque de blessure :
• Ne pas faire trop chauffer les liquides.
• Mélangez le liquide avant et à la moitié du temps de réchauffage.
• N’utilisez pas de récipient sans rebord et à paroi étroite.
• Après avoir réchauffé le récipient, laissez-le refroidir dans le four à micro-ondes pendant une courte période avant de
retirer le récipient.
• Soyez extrêmement prudent lorsque vous insérez une cuillère ou un autre ustensile dans le récipient.
ATTENTION - RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE
Cet équipement a deux cordons d’alimentation. Débranchez tous les cordons avant de déplacer ou d’entretenir cet
équipement. Connectez chaque fiche à un circuit de sortie unique.

1. Assurez-vous que tous les matériaux d’emballage ont été retirés de l’intérieur de la porte.
2. Vérifiez que le four n’est pas endommagé, par exemple que la porte n’est pas tordue ou mal alignée, que les joints
et les surfaces d’étanchéité ne sont pas endommagés, que les charnières et les loquets ne sont pas brisés ou
desserrés et qu’il n’y a pas d’impact dans la cavité ou sur la porte. Si vous constatez des dommages, ne faites pas
fonctionner le four mais communiquez avec le personnel de service qualifié.
3. Le four à micro-ondes doit être placé sur une surface plane et stable qui résistera à son poids et aux aliments les
plus lourds qui pourraient être cuits dans le four.
4. Ne pas placer le four dans des endroits générant de la chaleur, de la vapeur ou de l’humidité élevée, ou à proximité
de matériaux combustibles.
5. Pour un fonctionnement approprié, le four doit avoir une circulation d’air suffisante. Laissez un espace de 20 cm (8
po) au-dessus du four, de 10 cm (4 po) derrière le four et de 5 cm (2 po) sur les deux côtés. Ne pas couvrir ni blo-
quer les ouvertures de l’appareil. Ne pas retirer les pieds sur lesquels le four repose.
6. Ne pas faire fonctionner le four sans que le plateau tournant et le guide équipé de roues ne soient bien placés.
7. Assurez-vous que le cordon d’alimentation n’est pas endommagé et qu’il ne passe pas sous le four ou sur toute
surface chaude ou tranchante.
8. Interférence radio et télévisuelle
Si des interférences sont causées par le four à micro-ondes à votre radio ou votre télévision, vérifiez que le four à
micro-ondes est sur un circuit différent, placez la radio ou la télévision aussi loin que possible du four ou vérifiez la
position et le signal de l’antenne de réception.
Les modifications non autorisées de cet appareil pourraient annuler la capacité de l’utilisateur à le faire fonctionner.
AVANT L’INSTALLATION
DIRECTIVES RELATIVES À LA MISE À LA TERRE
Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. Dans l’éventualité d’un court-circuit, la mise à la terre réduit le risque de choc élec-
trique grâce au fil permettant au courant électrique de s’échapper. Cet appareil comprend un cordon muni d’un fil et
d’une fiche de mise à la terre. La fiche doit être branchée dans une prise correctement installée et mise à la terre.
AVERTISSEMENT : Une mauvaise utilisation de la fiche de mise à la terre peut entraîner un risque de choc électrique.
Consulter un électricien ou un préposé à l’entretien qualifié s’il est difficile de comprendre les directives relatives à la
mise à la terre, ou si des doutes subsistent quant à la mise à la terre correcte de l’appareil et :
s’il est nécessaire d’utiliser une rallonge électrique, utilisez uniquement une rallonge trifilaire qui comprend une prise de
mise à la terre à trois fiches et un réceptacle à trois fentes qui correspondra à la prise de l’appareil. Le régime nominal
indiqué de la rallonge électrique doit être égal ou supérieur au régime nominal de l’appareil.
Cordon d’alimentation
1. Un court cordon d’alimentation est fourni pour l’empêcher de s’emmêler dans un cordon plus long ou de trébucher sur
celui-ci.
2. Des ensembles de cordons amovibles plus longs ou de rallonges sont disponibles et peuvent être utilisés si l’on prend
des précautions pour les utiliser.
3. En cas d’utilisation d’un long cordon amovible ou d’une rallonge :
a) Le régime nominal du cordon ou de la rallonge doit être au moins équivalent au régime nominal de l’appareil.
b) La rallonge doit être une rallonge trifilaire avec mise à la terre.
c) Le cordon plus long doit être installé de façon à ne pas traîner sur un comptoir ou sur une table où il pourrait être-
tiré par des enfants ou où l’on pourrait accidentellement trébucher dessus.

CARACTÉRISTIQUES
Votre micro-onde est fournie avec une caractéristique de sécurité supplémen-
taire, c’est-à-dire un support de sécurité. Le support assure que le réfrigéra-
teur accroché reste branché fermement dans le dos de l’unité. Il va falloir
installer le support si votre réfrigérateur n’était jamais installé sous la micro-
onde avant.
Pour installer le support :
• Enlevez les vis qui sont dans le support a l’arrière de l’appareil dans les
trous pré-percés
• Situez le support sur le dos de l’unité. Il y a deux trous qui sont déjà percés
pour les vis qui viennent avec l’appareil.
• Vissez le support en diagonale par-dessus de la prise de 115 V du réfrigéra-
teur.
Remarque : Le support se trouve dans le sac d’accessoires avec le guide du
propriétaire. Les deux (2) vis qui sont dans le sac qui contient le support sont
des vis supplémentaires. Pour installer le support, utilisez les vis qui sont
déjà dans les trous pré-percés du support.

IMPORTANT
Le courant électrique menant à la prise arrière est arrêté pendant les périodes du fonctionnement de la micro-onde. La
prise de courant sur le dos de la micro-onde est dotée d’un système de retard de trois minutes. Lorsqu’un réfrigérateur
est branché dans la prise sur le dos de l’unité et la micro-onde est mise en marche, le réfrigérateur ne se mettra pas
en marche pendant trois minutes après que la micro-onde avait terminé de fonctionner. Cela assure que le réfrigéra-
teur ne soit pas endommagé et qu’un fusible dans votre maison ne saute pas pendant le fonctionnement de la micro-
onde.

RÉGLAGE DE L’HORLOGE
1. Appuyez sur le bloc de touches numériques de l’HORLOGE.
2. Servez-vous du bloc de touches numériques pour saisir l’heure.
3. Appuyez encore sur le bloc de touches numériques de l’HORLOGE.
REMARQUE :
• L’horloge est réglée selon un cycle de 12 heures. Lorsque le four est branché pour la première fois ou lorsque le
courant est rétabli après une panne de courant, SAISIR L’HEURE apparaît sur l’écran. Si vous préférez que l’horloge
ne soit pas affichée, appuyez sur la touche ANNULER.
RÉGLAGE DE LA MINUTERIE DU FOUR
1. Appuyez sur MINUTERIE.
2. Indiquez la durée en vous servant du bloc de touches numériques.
3. Appuyez sur la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT.
REMARQUE :
• La durée maximale que vous pouvez saisir est 99 minutes et 99 secondes.
• Le compte à rebours est affiché avant que l’heure ou la durée de cuisson soit de nouveau affichée.
• Appuyez sur MINUTERIE, puis sur ANNULER pour annuler la MINUTERIE au cours de l’opération.
RÉGLAGE D’UN PROGRAMME DE CUISSON
A. Cuisson en une seule étape
1. Servez-vous du bloc de touches numériques pour régler la durée de cuisson. Vous pouvez régler la durée de cuisson
entre une seconde et 99 minutes et 99 secondes.
2. Si vous souhaitez que la puissance soit autre que 100 %, appuyez sur la touche INTENSITÉ, puis utilisez les touches
numériques pour saisir le niveau de puissance souhaité.
3. Appuyez sur la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT pour commencer la cuisson.
Servez-vous des chiffres d’un à neuf pour régler un niveau de puissance pour la cuisson :
B. Cuisson en deux étapes
Certaines recettes nécessitent l’utilisation de différentes températures selon l’étape de cuisson.
1. RÉGLAGE DE L’ÉTAPE 1 :
Suivez les étapes 1 et 2 figurant dans « Cuisson en une seule étape ». N’APPUYEZ PAS SUR MARCHE/ARRÊT.
2. RÉGLAGE DE L’ÉTAPE 2 :
Appuyez sur CUISSON, puis indiquez le temps de cuisson approprié et le (plus bas) niveau de puissance. La plupart
des recettes à 2 étapes utilisent un niveau de puissance plus bas pour la deuxième étape.
3. Appuyez sur la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT.
