Katzenpolizei
Ein abwechslungsreiches Sammelspiel für 3 - 5 Spieler
von 5 - 99 Jahren.
Mit Variante „Katzenpolizei-Alarm!“ ab 2 Spielern.
Autorin: Stefanie Schütz
Illustration: Stefanie Klaßen
Spieldauer: ca. 10 Minuten
Was ist denn da los? Von überall hört man es miauen und
maunzen!
eure Katzen laufen fort. Nur wenn ihr komplette Familien
habt, sind eure Katzen sicher. Oder ihr genießt den Schutz der
Katzenpolizei!

Was zeigt der Würfel?
dir liegen, passiert nichts.
Die Maus
Mit der Maus lockst du
-

Maus angelockt, laufen bereits vorhandene Katzenkinder

Policecats
An action packed, matching game for 3 to 5 players between
5 and 99 years old.
Includes a "Policecat Alarm" variation for 2 players or more.
Author: Stefanie Schütz
Illustrator: Stefanie Klaßen
Length of the game: Approx. 10 minutes
What's going on here? You can hear meows coming from
all directions! All of the cats in the area went on an exciting
mouse hunt together and now they want to return home.
Amidst the chaos, individual members of each cat family are
having a difficult time finding each other! That's where the
policecat comes in! The policecat uses his whistle to keep
order and protect the cats that have already found each other.
Collect the cats! If the dice lands on the relevant symbol,
then take a card and lay it down in front of you on the
table. However, sometimes a cheeky mouse or the naughty
neighbor's dog throws a wrench in the works and your cats
run away. Your cats are only safe when the whole family is
reunited OR when they enjoy the protection provided by the
policecat. The aim of the game is to match up as many cats
as possible.

ENGLISH
What does the die show?
The cat
Draw the top card from the deck and place it face up next
to you.
Which card did you draw?
- A cat card
If the card shows a kitten or a parent cat, then take a look
to see if there is already a matching parent cat or kitten
(see Important runaway cat rules).
- A policecat card
If you turned over the policecat card, then you can take
the policecat playing piece. If you already have it, then
place it back in the middle of the table. Collect policecat
cards in a pile on the table next to your cat cards.
The dog
Oh dear, the dog's barking gives away
- a parent cat or
- two kittens, who haven't found their parents yet or
- a parent cat who has found their kitten!
Select a card from your cat cards and give it away to the
next player (including the matching kitten if you have it). If
you already have that cat card, then nothing happens.
The mouse
The mouse lures
- a parent cat or
- two kittens, who haven't found their parents yet or
- two kittens, who have found their parents
from any other player (you choose) to you.
12
ENGLISH
The whistle
Take the policecat playing piece and place it next to your
cats. If you already have it, then place it back in the middle
of the table.
Important runaway cat rules:
• Kittens always run immediately to a matching parent
cat when their card is revealed or as soon as a parent cat
is revealed and the associated kittens have already been
matched by a player.
If both parent cats are revealed, then the player whose turn
it is gets to decide to which parent cat the kittens run to. If
they already have a matching parent cat card, then they can
keep ahold of the kitten.
If a parent cat has already been matched with their kitten
and the second parent cat is revealed, then nothing
happens.
If a parent cat is given away by the dog or lured by the
mouse, then the kittens that have been paired up with
the parent must go along too.
Once a cat family is complete, the player can lay these
three cards down on the table in a pile in front of them.
Complete cat families cannot be given away by the dog,
but they can still be lured by the mouse.
The policecat:
As long as you have the policecat playing piece, your cats are
protected and cannot be given away by the dog or lured by
the mouse.
Warning: Kittens without a parent cat will always run to a
parent cat as soon as one is revealed!
13
ENGLISH
The the next player takes their turn by rolling the die.
End of the game
The game ends when the deck in the middle of the table
runs out and all of the cards have been given out. Each player
counts up their cats (parent cats, kittens and policecats) that
they have laid down in front of them. The player with the
policecat playing piece can count that as well. The player
with the most cats wins. In the event of a tie there can be
multiple winners.
Variation: “Policecat Alarm“
(2 players or more)
The basic rules of the game apply, but with the
following changes:
Remove all of the policecat cards from the deck before you
start to play, and place them face up in a row on the middle
of the table. Place the policecat in front of the first card.
There is no way to protect the cats in this variation.
Shuffle the cat cards and place them in a pile face down in
the middle of the table.
If you blow the whistle, then take a card out of the
policecat's way.
The game ends as soon as the policecat has reached the last
policecat card. The winner is also the player with the most
cats. There can be multiple winners in the event of a tie.

appartenant à n'importe quel autre joueur.
FRANÇAIS
18
plusieurs gagnants.
