Handling and storage precautions
≥Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek
medical advice immediately.

When using the card with SD compatible equipment,
make sure to insert into the adapter and remove to-
gether with the adapter as one. Do not remove the
card while the adapter is in the equipment. Misuse can
cause malfunction or damage the equipment or data.
≥This card is formatted to the SD memory card standard. If
reformatting is ever necessary, format it using SD com-
patible equipment or SD formatting software. Formatting
the card with any other software will make the card non-
standard and cause problems with compatibility and per-
formance. For a free version of SD formatting software,

After removing the card and the adapter from equipment, immediately
store them in its case. When storing the card, insert into the adapter.
≥Do not disassemble or remodel.
≥Do not impact, bend, drop, or wet.

Do not touch the metal terminals with your hands or metal objects.
≥Do not allow dust or any foreign matter to get in the
adapter’s slot.
≥Do not attach other labels or stickers.
≥Do not use or store in locations that may be affected by
static electricity or electric noise.
≥Do not use or store in locations directly exposed to sun-
light, a heat vent, or a heating appliance.
≥Do not use or store in humid or dusty locations or in loca-
tions exposed to corrosive gases.

d’un appareil de chauffage.

This Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian
ICES-003.
The miniSD Card can be used with SD compatible equip-
ment by inserting into the included miniSD adapter.
1 Open the card case.
1 Hold the case with both hands when opening and clos-
ing it to prevent damage to the adapter.
2 Remove the adapter.
1 Slide the adapter off the tray.
1 ≥When storing the adapter, make sure the adapter is
correctly on the tray before closing the case.
3 Insert the card into the adapter.
1 After confirming the direction, insert all the way.

When removing the card, pull out in the opposite direction.
Using with SD compatible equipment
La carte miniSD peut être utilisée avec des appareils compatibles avec
la carte mémoire SD en l’insérant dans l’adaptateur miniSD fourni.
1 Ouvrir l’étui de rangement.
√ Tenir l’étui avec les deux mains lors de son ouverture ou
de sa fermeture pour éviter d’endommager l’adaptateur.
2 Retirer l’adaptateur.

Faire glisser l’adaptateur sur le plateau lors de son retrait.

Lors du rangement de l’adaptateur, s’assurer qu’il est ins-
tallé correctement sur le plateau avant de refermer l’étui.
3 Insérer la carte dans l’adaptateur.

S’assurer que la carte est bien positionnée avant de l’insérer à fond.

Lors du retrait de la carte, la retirer dans le sens contraire.
Protecting your data
≥
When inserting the card into the adapter, switch the write-
protect switch
(B-a)
to “LOCK” to prevent accidental loss of
data. Unlock when you want to record or edit the card again.
≥Use an oil-based felt pen to write on the card or the
adapter. Do not use pencils or ballpoint pens as these
can damage the card, the adapter or data on the card.
Take care to keep the metal terminals free from ink.
≥While data is being read or written, do not remove the
card or turn off any equipment using the card. Do not re-
move the batteries from battery-operated equipment.
These actions can cause data to be destroyed.
≥Make backup copies of your data wherever possible.
Panasonic will not accept responsibility for any data loss,
or loss directly or indirectly caused by data loss.

fects in material and workmanship and agrees to remedy any
such defect, or at its option, replace the product for a period as
stated below from the date of original purchase.

This warranty does not apply to products purchased outside
Canada or to any product which has been improperly installed,
subjected to usage for which the product was not designed, mis-
used or abused, damaged during shipping, or which has been
altered or repaired in any way that affects the reliability or de-
tracts from the performance, nor does it cover any product
which is used commercially. Dry cell batteries are also excluded
from coverage under this warranty.
This warranty is extended to the original end user purchaser
only. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of original pur-
chase is required before warranty service is performed.
THIS EXPRESS, LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL
OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
