1.
Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2.
Remove the burnt-out bulb from its fitting (
a
).
3.
Remove the burn-out bulb. Use only 20W max
halogen bulbs.
WASHING THE GREASE FILTER - Fig. 2
Wash the grease filter once a month or whenever
the letter
F
appears on the control panel display.
1.
Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2.
Remove the grease filters:
- turn the grease filter handles (
b
), pull the
handles towards the centre (
c
), and
remove the grease filter by pulling it
downwards.
3.
After cleaning the grease filter remount in
reverse order, making sure the entire
extraction surface is covered.
Resetting the grease filter saturation indicator:
Press the buttons indicated
in the diagram for about
three seconds, the letter
F
will clear from the display when the saturation
indicator has been reset.
FITTING OR RENEWING THE CARBON
FILTER - Fig. 3
1.
Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2.
Remove the grease filters and the screws (

)
securing the carbon filter frame.
3.
Insert the carbon filter (
e
) into the frame (
f
) and
turn the frame and the filter upwards. Secure
them to the hood using the carbon filter clips
(
g
) (there's no need to re-tighten the frame
screws).
4. If the filter needs renewing
, remove the old
filter and fit a new one.
5.
Remount the grease filters.

During this function a dot flashes at the bottom
right hand side of the display. After fifteen
minutes the hood switches to stand-by (dot at
