a 120 V AC electrical outlet.

15. To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, and turn

off power to heater circuit at main disconnect panel

(or operate internal disconnect switch if provided).

17. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any

other use not recommended by the manufacturer may

user serviceable parts.

21. Always use the product in an upright position.

22. Hyperthermia can result in death. Symptoms of

hyperthermia include high body temperature, head-

ache, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, dizziness, fainting,

and rapid pulse. If you begin to experience symp-

toms related to hyperthermia, turn off the heater

and seek medical attention.

23. To avoid excessive room temperatures which can

cause hyperthermia: DO NOT leave product running

unattended in a confined space around infants, or

individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental

capabilities.

24. WARNING: This product can expose you to

chemicals including lead, which is known to the

State of California to cause cancer and birth defects

or other reproductive harm. For more information

INSTRUCTIONS.

When using this electric unit, basic safety precautions

should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,

electric shock, injury to persons, and hyperthermia

including the following:

1. Read ALL instructions before using this unit.

2. WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. DO NOT open

or try to repair the heater yourself.

3. This heater may get hot when in use. To avoid burns,

DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided,

use handle(s) when moving this heater. Keep com-

bustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding,

paper, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m)

from the front of the heater and keep them away

from the sides.

4. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is

used by or near children or invalids and whenever the

heater is left operating and unattended.

5. DO NOT operate any heater after it malfunctions.

Disconnect power at service panel and have heater

inspected by a reputable electrician before reusing.

6. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms,

laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. NEVER

locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other

water container.

7. DO NOT touch the control panel or plug with a wet

hand.

8. DO NOT run cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover

cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.

Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will

not be tripped over.

9. DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any

ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an

electric shock or fire , or damage the heater.

10. To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block the air

intakes or exhaust in any manner.

11. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside.

DO NOT use in areas where gasoline, paint, or flam-

mable vapors or liquids are used or stored.

12. Connect to properly grounded outlets only.

13. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/recep-

tacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable

power tap (outlet/power strip).

Tip-Over Safety Feature

This heater is equipped with a shut-off safety feature.

Once the heater is tipped over, an internal switch will

automatically shut the heater off. Once the heater is

restored to an upright position, the heater will reset. To

continue operation, press the power button on the control

panel or remote control.

Overheat Safety Feature

This heater is equipped with an overheat safety feature.

When the heater’s internal components reach a certain

temperature that could cause overheating and possible fire,

the heater will automatically shut off.

WARNING: Your heater MUST BE installed on a

wall. Do not prop the heater up against objects or

use the heater with the grill placed vertically.

PRIOR TO MOUNTING: When drilling holes in this

area check the wall to ensure there are no wires,

pipes, etc.

A SOLID WALL must be used for mounting this

unit. Unit CANNOT be mounted on a hollow wall,

or wall without studs.

1. Carefully place the heater on its backside on a

protected surface. Attach the L-shaped brackets onto

the bottom of the unit using two M5 x 16mm screws.

2. Choose a location near an outlet so an extension cord

is not required. Do not position the heater directly

below a power outlet. The unit cannot be mounted

near electrical cables, communication lines, pipes,

combustible materials, etc. that could be damaged or

ignited by excessive heat.

3. Predrill two holes in the wall 262mm apart (make sure

they are horizontal ). Insert two wall anchors and two

ST4 x 28mm screws.

4. Hang the heater by sliding the it onto the screws using

the two keyslots at back of unit.

5. Using the two holes in the L-shaped brackets, predrill

two holes in the wall for the other two anchors and

ST4 x 28mm screws. Insert the anchors into these holes

and screw in the two screws to finish securing the

heater to the wall.

Keep electrical cords, drapery, furniture and other

combustibles at least 3 feet (.914 M) from the front of the

heater and away from the sides and top.

A 15 AMP, 120 Volt, 60 Hz circuit with a properly grounded

outlet is required. Preferably, the heater will be on a

dedicated circuit as other appliances on the same circuit

may cause the circuit breaker to trip or the fuse to blow

when the heater is in operation.

CAUTION: Do not exceed the current rating of the

current tap. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/

receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable

power tap (outlet/power strip).

When choosing a location for your new heater, ensure that

the general instructions are followed. For best effect, install

the heater out of direct sunlight.

To prevent fire there must be a minimum clearance of 50

cm (20 inches) on the sides and bottom and 100 cm (40

inches) on the top of the unit.

Cold climate installation recommendation: when installing

this unit against a non-insulated exterior wall, it is

mandatory that the outer walls be insulated to conform

to applicable insulation codes. If you choose to place

the unit underneath a window or on a poorly insulated

exterior wall, please be advised that the heater may read a

colder ambient temperature then the actual ambient

temperature of the room.

This heater is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug

as shown as A in Figure 1. An adapter as shown as C

is available (sold separately) for connecting three-blade

grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The green

grounding lug extending from the adapter must be

connected to a permanent ground such as a properly

grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used if a

three-slot grounded receptacle is available.

This remote control uses one CR2025 battery (included).

Instructions for battery installation are on the Remote

Control battery compartment. Refer to Figure 2 for battery

removal procedure.

This product contains a lithium button/coin cell battery. If a new

or used lithium button/coin cell battery is swallowed or enters

the body, it can cause severe internal burns and can lead to

death in as little as 2 hours. Always completely secure the battery

compartment. If the battery compartment does not close securely,

stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep it away

from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed

or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical

attention.

STARTING UNIT AND SELECTING HEAT MODE

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Assemble the unit and plug the unit directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet.

UNIT FUNCTION

Turn the heater on or off by pressing the ON/OFF icon

NOTE: Once power is OFF, heating element will stop working. Fan will continue

to run for 3 minutes to cool off the heating element.

Press the Mode icon to toggle between the heat modes High, Low or ECO:

High Mode: Heater runs at 1500W

Low Mode: Heater runs at 750W

ECO Mode: Heater runs at low/high wattage based on the temperature difference

between set temperature and room temperature.

1. Turn the heater ON.

LED display changes from the “temperature” to the “hours”

option for the timer. Hour options for the timer are 0 to 12 hours

(in 1 hour increments).

3. Continue to press the timer icon to change the number of

hours the heater will run before powering itself OFF.

NOTICE: When the heat function is used for the first time, a slight odor may be present. This

is normal and should not occur again unless the heater is not used for an extended period of

time.

NOTICE: The Power OFF Timer function will allow for the heater to power OFF after a certain

set time, and can only be set while the heater is in the ON mode. The Power Off Timer must be

reset if unit powers off.

NOTICE: The Child Lock can help avoid the heater from being accidentally engaged by children.

The locking mechanism can be set in both the ON and OFF modes. The Child Lock must be reset

if unit powers off.

UNIT FUNCTION

TO LOCK: Press the light bulb icon for 3 seconds. Locking is

complete when a beep is heard and lock indicator is illuminated.

When locked, the functions of the control panel and remote

CANNOT be used.

TO UNLOCK: Press the light bulb icon for 3 seconds. Unlocking is

complete when a beep is heard. The control panel and remote

control will become functional.

UNIT FUNCTION

Press the light bulb icon on the unit to set the LED brightness to

bright, dim or off.

Note: When the LED display light is off, only the power on/off

icon is lit. Other icons can’t be used. To activate other icons, press

the light bulb icon again.

CONNECTING TO Wi-Fi USING THE SMART LIFE APP

Follow these steps to download the Smart Life App and prepare device:

After the above steps, tap “Add Device” in the App and the heater will automatically find the Wi-Fi connection; a window will

then pop up to connect via Bluetooth:

NOTICE: Bluetooth must be enabled on your device AND in the Settings of the Smart Life app. If the Bluetooth

access is not enabled for the Smart Life app, a “Turn on Bluetooth” error message will appear near the top of your

device. Click on the Bluetooth error message to allow Bluetooth access to the Smart Life app.

Make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

are enabled on your device.

Connect your device to 2.4

GHz Wi-Fi network.

*For some dual band routers,

you may need to manually

create a network dedicated to

App Operation Notes:

• You may rename heater to match the room it is in.

• You can connect multiple heaters in your house or

garage.

• You can have multiple users in the same household,

but they must all be on the same account, i.e., utilizing

the same user name and password.

• When someone with a different Smart Life account,

i.e. different user name and password, tries to connect

to your heater by pressing and holding the Wi-Fi

symbol on the display panel, it will kick out the most

recent user.

• When the unit is unplugged or the power goes out,

you will need to restart the unit and reconnect the

device in the Smart Life App.

• You may enable simple voice controls with common

smart home devices. Please refer to the Smart Life

App and tap the “Me” button at the bottom of your

screen for instructions.

NOTICE: If heater does not appear in list, unplug

heater and plug back in. Then turn on heater and

restart Wi-Fi pairing process by pressing and holding

the Wi-Fi symbol for 5 seconds.

MAINTENANCE

STORAGE

1. Turn the POWER OFF.

2. Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.

3. To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be

cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. A mild detergent can

be used if necessary.

4. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth.

5. Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.

Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use. To

prevent dust and dirt build-up, use the original packaging to

repack the unit.

WARNING:

• DO NOT let liquid enter the heater.

• DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders,

furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the

heater. This may cause damage or deterioration

to the surface of the heater.

• DO NOT immerse the heater in water.

WARNING: Disconnect power before attempting

any maintenance or cleaning to reduce the risk of

fire, electrical shock or personal injury. First turn

the main power switch to the “OFF” position, wait

for the fan to stop blowing to ensure the inside of

the heater has been properly cooled. Then remove

the electrical plug from the wall outlet.

NOTICE: For the heater to function properly,

the desired temperature on the heater

must be set a few degrees higher than the

temperature in the room. If the heater seems

to not be heating, increase the desired

temperature on the heater to engage the

heat element.

NOTICE: The product is equipped with an

overheat safety feature protector which will

switch off the heater in case of accidental

overheating (ex. Obstruction of air intake

and outlet grills, motor turning slowly or not

at all).

NOTICE: The product is equipped with a tip-

over switch inside. When the product tips

over abnormally during its use, it can cut off

power automatically.

• Please remember that with any type of heating process

there are many variables; size of the room, how well

the room is insulated, how many doors/windows, how

much bare concrete (which acts as a heat sink with

any type of heating), the opening and closing of an

exterior door, etc. Therefore, heating performance will

vary in every environment.

• Heating will vary based on how open your floor plan is

and the sizes of the rooms involved.

• Rooms with little insulation will not retain the heat as

efficiently and may result in your heater running longer

or more often.

• It may take longer to heat a room with vaulted or

cathedral ceilings initially. Once the room has reached

the desired temperature it will cycle on and off

accordingly.

• This heater may be used in a basement or garage if it

is finished with drywall and carpet.

• This heater cannot be moved while it is running.

If moving heater, it must first be turned to the off

position and then moved once the fan has completely

turned off.

• You may run heater and another appliance at the same

time as long as they are not on the same electrical

circuit.

NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to

comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant

in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses

and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed

and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause

harmful interference to radio communications. However,

there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a

TROUBLESHOOTING

cool down the internal components.

into outlets on a single circuit. If problem still persists,

consult a qualified electrician to diagnose and repair.

and found by the Company to have imperfections in material or workmanship.

13. Enchufe siempre el calefactor directamente en el

utilice esta unidad eléctrica para reducir el riesgo de incendio,

1. Lea TODAS las instrucciones antes de utilizar esta unidad.

3. Este calefactor se puede calentar al usarlo. Para evitar

quemaduras, NO toque las superficies calientes con

la piel. Si existen, utilice las manijas para mover este

calefactor. Mantenga los materiales combustibles,

como muebles, almohadones, sábanas, papeles, ropa y

cortinas a por lo menos 3 pies del frente del calefactor

Función de seguridad contra vuelcos

Este calefactor está equipado con un sistema de apagado

de seguridad. Cuando el calefactor se vuelque, un

interruptor interno apagará automáticamente la unidad.

Una vez que el calefactor se vuelva a colocar en posición

vertical, se reiniciará. Para continuar usándolo, presione el

botón de encendido en el panel de control o en el control

remoto.

ADVERTENCIA: Es normal que el cable de alimentación

se sienta caliente al tocarlo. Sin embargo, si el enchufe

está ojo en el tomacorriente puede provocar un

sobrecalentamiento del enchufe. Si esto ocurre, intente

insertar el enchufe en un tomacorriente diferente. Llame

a un electricista calicado para asegurarse de que el

tomacorriente original no esté dañado.

Montaje En La Pared (Consulte la Figura 3)

Este control remoto usa una batería CR2025 (incluida).

Las instrucciones para la instalación de la batería se

encuentran en el compartimento de la batería del control

remoto. Consulte la Figura 2 para conocer el procedimiento

de extracción de la batería.

1. Apoye con cuidado la parte trasera del calefactor sobre

una superficie protegida. Fije los soportes en forma de L

en la parte inferior de la unidad con dos tornillos M5 x 16

mm.

2. Elija una ubicación cerca de un tomacorriente para no

tener que usar un cable de extensión. No coloque el

calefactor directamente debajo de un tomacorriente. La

unidad no se puede montar cerca de cables eléctricos,

líneas de comunicación, tuberías, materiales combustibles,

etc. que puedan dañarse o prenderse fuego por el calor

excesivo.

3. Haga dos orificios en la pared separados a 262 mm

(asegúrese de que estén en posición horizontal). Inserte

dos anclajes para pared y dos tornillos ST4 x 28 mm.

4. Cuelgue el calefactor deslizándolo sobre los tornillos,

usando las dos ranuras de la parte posterior de la unidad.

5. Usando los dos orificios en los soportes en forma de L,

taladre previamente dos orificios en la pared para los otros

dos anclajes y tornillos ST4 x 28 mm. Inserte los anclajes

en estos orificios y atornille los dos tornillos para terminar

de asegurar el calefactor a la pared.

Este producto contiene una batería tipo botón/moneda

de litio. Si una batería tipo botón/moneda de litio nueva

o usada se ingiere o ingresa en el cuerpo, puede causar

quemaduras internas graves y provocar la muerte en tan

solo 2 horas. Siempre cierre bien el compartimiento de

Se requiere un circuito de 15 amperios, 120 voltios, 60

Hz con un tomacorriente correctamente conectado a

tierra. Preferiblemente, el calefactor estará en un circuito

dedicado, ya que otros aparatos en el mismo circuito

pueden hacer que se dispare el disyuntor o que se funda el

fusible cuando el calefactor esté en funcionamiento.

CUIDADO: No exceda la capacidad actual de la derivación.

Enchufe siempre el calefactor directamente en el

tomacorriente. Nunca lo use con un cable de extensión o

enchufe múltiple.

Este calefactor es para usar con 120 voltios. El cable tiene

un enchufe tal como el que se muestra como A en la figura

1. Se encuentra disponible un adaptador como el que se

muestra como C (se vende por separado) para conectar

enchufes de tres patas con conexión a tierra a receptáculos

de dos ranuras. El cable verde de tierra que sale del

adaptador debe conectarse a una tierra permanente como

a una caja eléctrica correctamente conectada a tierra. No

debe usarse el adaptador si existe un tomacorriente de tres

patas con conexión a tierra disponible.

Al elegir la ubicación de su nuevo calefactor, asegúrese de

seguir las instrucciones generales. Para un mejor efecto,

instale el calefactor donde no le llegue la luz solar directa.

Para evitar incendios, debe haber un espacio libre mínimo

de 50 cm (20 pulgadas) a los lados y en la parte inferior, y

de 100 cm (40 pulgadas) en la parte superior de la unidad.

Recomendación de instalación en climas fríos: al instalar

esta unidad contra una pared exterior o canaleta sin

aislamiento, es obligatorio que las paredes exteriores

estén aisladas para cumplir con las normas de aislamiento

correspondientes. Si elige colocar la unidad debajo de una

ventana o en una pared exterior mal aislada, tenga en

cuenta que el calefactor podría detectar una temperatura

ambiente más fría que la temperatura ambiente real de la

habitación.

Arme la unidad y conéctela directamente a un tomacorriente de 120 V CA.

Encienda o apague el calentador presionando el botón ON/OFF

NOTA: Una vez que se apague, el elemento calefactor dejará de funcionar.

El ventilador continuará funcionar durante 3 minutos para enfriar el elemento

calefactor.

Presione el botón Modo para alternar entre los modos de calor Alto, Bajo o ECO:

Modo alto: El calefactor funciona a 1500 W

Modo bajo: El calefactor funciona a 750 W

AVISO: Cuando se utiliza la función de calor por primera vez, puede haber un poco de olor. Esto es normal

y no debería volver a ocurrir a menos que el calefactor no se use durante un período prolongado.

AVISO: La función Temporizador de apagado permitirá que el calefactor se apague después de

un cierto tiempo establecido, y solo se puede congurar mientras el calefactor está en el modo

ENCENDIDO. El temporizador de apagado debe volver a activarse si la unidad se apaga.

AVISO: El bloqueo para niños puede ayudar a evitar que los niños activen accidentalmente el

calefactor. El mecanismo de bloqueo se puede congurar como ACTIVADO o DESACTIVADO. El

bloqueo para niños debe volver a activarse si la unidad se apaga.

UNIDAD FUNCIÓN

PARA BLOQUEARLO: Presione el icono de la bombilla durante 3

segundos. El bloqueo se completa cuando se escucha un pitido y

se enciende el indicador de bloqueo. Cuando está bloqueado, las

funciones del panel de control y del control remoto NO PUEDEN

utilizarse.

PARA DESBLOQUEARLO: Presione el icono de la bombilla durante 3

segundos. El desbloqueo se completa cuando se escucha un pitido.

El panel de control y el control remoto volverán a funcionar.

UNIDAD FUNCIÓN

Presione el botón de la luz en la unidad para congurar el brillo del

LED en brillante, tenue o apagado.

Nota: Cuando la luz de la pantalla LED está apagada, solo se

encienden el botón de encendido/apagado. No se pueden usar otros

botones. Para activar otros botones, vuelva a pulsar el botón de la

luz.

UNIDAD FUNCIÓN

1. Encienda el calefactor.

2. Presione el botón del temporizador.

La pantalla LED cambia de la opción de “temperatura” a la

de “horas” para el temporizador. Las opciones de horas del

temporizador van de 0 a 12 horas (en incrementos de 1 hora).

3. Continúe presionando el botón del temporizador para cambiar la

CONEXIÓN A Wi-Fi USO DE LA APLICACIÓN SMART LIFE

CONECTAR BLUETOOTH

Siga estos pasos para descargar la aplicación Smart Life y preparar el teléfono:

Después de los pasos anteriores, toque "Agregar dispositivo" en la aplicación y el calefactor encontrará automáticamente el

Wi-Fi. Aparecerá una ventana para conectarse:

AVISO: Bluetooth debe estar habilitado en su dispositivo y en la conguración de la aplicación Smart Life. Si el acceso

Bluetooth no está habilitado para la aplicación Smart Life, aparecerá el mensaje de error “Activar Bluetooth” cerca de
