For one (1) year from date of purchase, Sears Canada Inc. will repair or replace free of charge at Sears option any
parts which are defective as a result of defective material or faulty workmanship.
COMMERCIAL OR RENTAL USE:
Warranty on Tractor Attachments "TRACTOR WINTER CAB" or "TRACTOR SCREEN CAB" used for commercial or
rental purposes is limited to 90 days.
This warranty does NOT cover:
* Repairs due to customer abuse or neglect
* Pre-delivery set-up
* In Home service
Warranty service is available by returning the Craftsman Tractor Attachment to the nearest Sears Service Centre /
Department in Canada. This warranty applies only while this product is in use in Canada.
This warranty is in addition to any statutory warranty and does not exclude or limit legal rights you may have but shall
run concurrently with applicable provincial legislation. Furthermore, some provinces do NOT allow limitation on how
long an implied warranty will last so the above limitations may not apply to you.

assist in the safe operation and servicing of your attachment.

Familiarize yourself fully with the safety recommendations and operating procedures before putting the machine to
use. Carefully read, understand and follow these recommendations and insist that they be followed by those who will
use this attachment.

brush or cloth.

ASSEMBLY
INSTALLATION INFORMATION:
IMPORTANT: There is a potential risk of the paint
wearing off from the hood or the decal coming off due to
cab rubbing against it. To lessen this potential damage,
a soft cloth may be inserted between the cab and hood.
Wiping down the hood after each use will also help.
NOTE: (for the winter cab) The windows are made of
top quality cold resistant, clear flexible plastic. However,
under extreme cold conditions, all plastics become
fragile. Never hit or scrape windows to remove the ice,
this could damage them. These damages, under these
conditions, are not covered by the manufacturer’s
warranty.
STEP 1
FRAME ASSEMBLY–ROOF:
Assemble the top portion of the frame by attaching the
link tubes (fig.1, item 1) to the side tubes (item 2) and in
the middle, the reinforcement tube (item 3) (angled
portion facing upwards).
Secure loosely with the #10 x 1" machine screws (item
4) (screw heads on top) with the nylon insert lock nuts
(item 5).
Place the assembly on a level surface to ensure that the
structure is level.
Tighten all the screws firmly.
TOOLS REQUIRED:

1-9/32" (0.281") bit
1-Phillips screwdriver
1-3/8" wrench
1-7/16" wrench
1-3/4" wrench
1-3/4" Adjustable wrench
1-5/32" Allen key

STEP 2
TOW HITCH SUPPORT INSTALLATION:
NOTE: If you have a Berco counterweight kit
installed on the back on the tractor, it is not
necessary to install the tow hitch support (item
2) .The rear support rods (item 1) of the cab will be
inserted into the tubes welded to the right and left
support plates of the counterweight kit.
Insert the rear support rods (fig.2, item 1), the longest
end into tow hitch support (item 2). Install the tow hitch
support on top of the tractor tow hitch (item 3) with a 1/2
x 1 1/2" hex bolt and two flat washers (item 5) (one on
top and the other under the tow hitch), lockwasher and
nut. The support must be completely flat against the
back of the tow hitch.
Tighten firmly.
Adjust the horizontal section of the rear rod support
(fig.2, item A), so it is located 1/8" below the mud guard
and 1" behind the mud guard.
Secure in place with two 5/16 x 5/16 set screws (item 4).
Tighten lightly.

STEP 3
FRONT ATTACHING PLATES
INSTALLATION:
If this cab is being installed on a tractor which already is
equipped with a Craftsman or Berco attachment, the
subframe (some but not necessarily all models of
subframes) may have existing attaching points welded
to the mounting supports.
If so, go to Step 4.
WARNING
TO AVOID PERSONAL INJURY:
The front plates & supports must not interfere in
any way with the brake & clutch pedals or any
other tractor controls at any time. Any interfer-
ence from the supports may block the controls
and cause an accident.

2005 and before Drill 2 holes between the square holes in footrest.

2006 Drill 2 holes at the front of the foot rests, Figure 3C.
NOTE: Measure 3.81" from the tractor frame.
Other brands Drill 2 holes so that:
*Plates must NOT interfere with any tractor pedals or controls such as brakes,
clutch.
*Snowblower controls (lift arm and chute rotation support) must remain inside
cab.
TIP: Temporarily install the whole cab on the tractor to get a global view of the
installation before drilling the holes to attach the front supports. You can hold
the supports temporarily in place with either C vice grips or C clamps until
deciding where to secure it.
NOTE: On certain tractor models, the attaching plate (item 4) is not required.
Simply bolt the front support (item 6) directly to the front lip of the footrest,
after drilling the 9/32” holes.
If not, unclip and lift the rubber pads on the footrests.
See table below for instructions:

ASSEMBLY
Install the front attaching plates (fig.3, item 4) under
the footrests using two 1/4 x 3/4" machine screws and
flange nuts. Tighten firmly.
Fasten the front supports (item 6) to the attaching
plates. Use two 1/4 x 3/4" hex bolts (item 3) and
flange nuts (item 5).
Tighten firmly .
STEP 4
FRONT ROD SUPPORT INSTALLATION:
Slide the front rod supports (item 7) into the front
supports or into the tubes welded to the subframe.
Adjust the width of the rods to 13" from the tractor
frame. Secure in place with the 5/16 x 5/16" allen set
screws (item 8).
Secure moderately.

STEP 6
CANVAS INSTALLATION:
Install the cab cover over the frame. Use the Velcro
straps to tie it down to the frame. The front of the cab is
designed with an opening which allows access under
the hood. This opening is equipped with Velcro tabs and
straps with buckles at each end.
Attach the straps to the supports (fig.3, item 6) by
inserting the buckles (fig.5, items 2 & 3) through the
holes on the supports then snapping one end into the
other. If the front supports are not used, wrap the straps
around the tubes welded on the subframe and snap the
buckles.
Adjust the buckle (item 4) on top of the hood so that it is
centered after adjusting all the other straps.
Once installation is complete, adjust the cab by pulling
the rear support rods (fig.2, item 1) toward the back to
achieve a snug fit.
Tighten all the nuts and screws firmly.
OPENING FOR HANDLE:
To accommodate the handle for the accessories, open
the ‘’Velcro’’ seam (item 1) on either side.
BEFORE INITIAL USE, PLEASE WIPE THE WHITE
RESIDUE OFF THE WINDOWS WITH A DRY SOFT
CLOTH.

STEP 5
FRAME ASSEMBLY:
Install the front posts (fig.4, item 2) the bent part
towards the front and the back posts (item 1) as
shown.
Place the roof section onto the posts .
NOTE:
If the cab is not level, adjust the front supports (if used)
by screwing them in the other set of holes on the
plates.
If the front posts need to be lengthened, place two
sleeves on the support rods.
If front posts need to be shortened, cut bottom portion
of posts as needed. Figure 4

ATTENTION:
If your tractor has a muffler located on the right hand
side of the tractor frame, you must order option #700309
Exhaust elbow.
This elbow re-directs the heat from the exhaust to pre-
vent damage to the cab and helps prevent the carbon
monoxide fumes from being pushed inside the cab by
the wind.
Make sure to put the cab between the guard (fig. 6, item
1) and the footrest to prevent heat damage from the
muffler.
WARNING
TO AVOID PERSONAL INJURY:
Make sure the cab cover does not touch the
tractor’s muffler or exhaust system. The cab may
be damaged or even catch on fire.

MAINTENANCE
a) Keep the windows clear and clean in order to keep
a good visibility at all times. Wash the windows with
a mild soap such as dishwashing soap and a soft
cloth.
b) Check mounting bolts on the frame at frequent
intervals for proper tightness to be sure equipment
is in safe working condition.
c) During the winter use a soft brush to sweep off the
snow. DO NOT HIT the windows with the brush or
your hands to remove the snow. This will crack the
vinyl.
d) Keep air vents clear and clean at all times.
END OF SEASON STORAGE
a) Thoroughly wash and dry the canvas.
b) Inspect for any tears or unstitched seams. Repair if
necessary.
c) Carefully remove the canvas from the frame.
d) Roll up instead of folding the canvas for storage.
e) Store the canvas in a well ventilated place, away
from all weather elements and out of reach of
rodents.
f) The frame must be cleaned and dried before storing
in a dry enclosed place.
e) Inspect and replace all defective parts before using
again.

a) Gardez les fenêtres dégagées et propres pour une
bonne visibilité en tout temps. Lavez les fenêtres
avec un savon doux tel qu’un liquide pour la
vaisselle et un linge doux.
b) Vérifiez les boulons de montage du châssis
fréquemment afin qu’ils soient bien serrés afin que l’
accessoire soit en condition de travailler
sécuritairement.
c) Pendant l’hiver, utiliser une brosse douce pour
balayer la neige. NE JAMAIS FRAPPER les
fenêtres avec la brosse ni avec vos mains pour
enlever la neige. Ceci fera fissurer le vinyle.
d) Garder les prises d’air dégagées et propres en tout
temps.
ENTREPOSAGE DE FIN DE SAISON
a) Laver et sécher la toile.
b) Inspecter afin de déceler des déchirures ou des
coutures défaites. Réparer si nécessaire.
c) Retirer délicatement la toile du châssis.
d) Enrouler plutôt que de plier la toile pour
l’entreposage.
e) Entreposer la toile dans un endroit bien ventilé,
loin des intempéries de toutes sortes et loin des
rongeurs.
f) Le châssis doit être nettoyé et séché avant
d’entreposer dans un endroit sec et fermé.
g) Inspecter et remplacer toutes les pièces
défectueuses avant une prochaine utilisation.

ASSEMBLAGE
ATTENTION:
Si votre tracteur est muni d’un silencieux situé sur le
côté droit du châssis, vous devez vous procurer
l’option #700309 Coude d’échappement.
Ce coude a pour fonction de rediriger la chaleur qui
se dégage de l’échappement afin d’éviter tout
dommage à la cabine et empêcher le monoxyde de
carbone de s’infiltrer à l’intérieur de la cabine lorsqu’il
y a du vent.
Assurez-vous de placer la cabine entre le garde (fig.
6, item 1) et le repose-pieds afin que la toile ne soit
pas endommagée par la chaleur du silencieux.
ATTENTION
POUR ÉVITER DES BLESSURES:
Assurez-vous que le système d’échappement du tracteur est en bonne condition et qu’il n’est
pas orienté vers l’intérieur de la cabine.
LES GAZ D’ÉCHAPPEMENT NE DOIVENT JAMAIS ENTRER DANS LA CABINE CAR ILS CONTIENNENT
DU MONOXYDE DE CARBONE QUI EST :
*SANS ODEUR
*SANS COULEUR
*MORTEL
NE JAMAIS OBSTRUER LES PRISES D’AIR.
ATTENTION
POUR ÉVITER DES BLESSURES:
Assurez-vous que la toile de la cabine ne touche
pas au silencieux ni au tuyau d’échappement. La
toile peut s’endommager ou même s’enflammer.

ÉTAPE 5
ASSEMBLAGE DU CHÂSSIS:
Installer les poteaux avant (fig.4, item 2), la partie
pliée vers l’avant et les poteaux arrières (item 1) tel
qu'illustrés.
Placer le toit du châssis de la cabine sur les poteaux.
NOTE:
Si le toit n’est pas au niveau ajuster les supports
avant si utilisé) en les boulonnant dans l’autre
ensemble de trous sur les plaques.
Si les poteaux avants ont besoin d’être allongés,
placer des douilles sur les tiges de support.
Si les poteaux avants avant doivent être raccourcis,
couper la section du bas tel que requis.

ÉTAPE 6
INSTALLATION DE LA TOILE:
Installer la toile de la cabine sur le châssis.
Attacher les courroies de velcro pour fixer la cabine
en place.
Le devant de la cabine à été conçu avec une ouver-
ture qui permet d’accéder sous le capot. Attacher les
courroies (fig.5, items 2 & 3) en les passant dans les
trous des supports avant (fig.3, item 6). Ajuster les
boucles et les attacher ensemble.
Si les tiges support avant ne sont pas utilisés, enrou-
ler les courroies autour des tubes soudés sur le sous-
châssis et attacher les boucles ensembles.
Ajuster afin que la boucle (item 4) soit centrée sur le
capot après avoir serré toutes les courroies.
Une fois l’installation terminée, ajuster la cabine en
tirant les tiges de support (fig.2, item 1) vers l’arrière.
Serrer toutes les vis et écrous très fermement..
OUVERTURES POUR MANIVELLE:
Pour accommoder la manivelle des accessoires, ou-
vrir la couture en ’’Velcro’’ d’un côté ou l’autre (item
1).
Servez-vous du support de manivelle comme gabarit.
AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION, S.V.P.
VEUILLEZ NETTOYER LE RÉSIDU BLANC SUR
LES FENÊTRES AVEC UN LINGE DOUX ET SEC.
