IIMOUNTING PREPARATION
WARNING: In areas with frequent thunderstorms, add surge protection at the
service panel for all circuits. Ensure all power and ground connections, especially
those at the breaker and bus bar, are clean and tight.
CAUTION: Not recommended to be installed in coastal environments with high
humidity or high dust.
Step 1
1. Select a mounting location that allows the 18 foot charging cable to safely and
securely connect to the vehicle’s charging port.
2. Select/ prepare a location where the EV Charger can be mounted to a stud or a
solid surface. A height of 36”-48” off the ground is recommended.
3. The device must be anchored into mounting such as 2” x 6” stud or a solid wall.
Step 2
Drill 4 holes for the wall mount and 4 holes for the holster bracket. For wood
installation, use lag screws and drill a pilot hole using a 5mm, #8, or 3/16” drill bit.
For masonry installation, use expansion screws and an 11/32” drill bit to a depth of
2”. Use the mounting template or refer to the diagram for hole spacing.
IMOUNT THE CHARGING STATION
Step 3
Install the Holster as shown.
Step 4
Tighten one M5 anti-theft screw to
complete the installation.
Step 5
Tighten two M5 anti-theft screws to
complete the installation.
IWIRE THE CIRCUIT
WARNING: This device must be grounded. Disconnect electrical power prior to
installing the charging station.

result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualied electrician or serviceman if
you are not sure whether the product is properly grounded. For plug-in models
only: do not modify the plug provided with the product – if it doesn’t t the outlet,
have a proper outlet installed by a qualied electrician.
1. For safe operation, verify the rating of the circuit breaker that will protect the EV
Charger. For maximum rated current output (48A), please ensure that the EV
Charger is used on a 60A circuit. The EV Charger comes precongured to this
setting. If less power is available at the circuit breaker, remove the cover and
set the current output to the appropriate rating via the dip switch (Figure 1).

2. After desired current is set, connect charger to eld wiring (the grid) using
supplied liquid tight conduit and supplied connectors. Proceed to wire the EV
Charger’s pre-stripped AC Power Cable to the incoming circuit by:
a. Connecting the L1 lead to the grid L1
b. Connecting the L2 lead to the grid L2
c. Connecting the PE lead to the grid PE (Ground)LATION
IOPERATE YOUR DEVICE
