known to cause photosensitive reactions. Doing so can
result in skin discoloration, discomfort or pain.
Common examples of non-drugs that may have made you
sensitive to light are: deodorants, antibacterial soaps, artificial
sweeteners, fluorescent brightening agents for cellulose, nylon
and wool fibers such as in laundry detergent, naphthalene
(mothballs), petroleum products, and in cadmium sulfide, a
chemical injected into the skin during tattooing.
