INFANTS AND CHILDREN!

Never leave children unsupervised with the

packaging material. The packaging material

poses a suﬀocation hazard. Children frequently

underestimate the dangers. The packaging

material is not a toy.

■This product may be used by children aged 8

years and up, as well as by persons with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capacities or lacking

experience and knowledge, so long as they are

supervised or instructed in the safe use of the

product and understand the as sociated risks. Do

not allow children to play with the product. Clean-

ing and user maintenance must not be performed

by children without supervision. This product is

not a toy.

■If you notice anything unusual during use (e.g.

the product oﬀ immediately and unplug the LED

plug-in mains adapter from the mains socket. Af-

terwards, do not use the product until it has been

■Never use the lamp if any defects have been

identiﬁed.

■Always check the lamp and the mains cable with

the LED plug-in mains adapter for any damage

■Never open any of the electrical equipment or

insert any objects into this equipment. Such interfer-

ences pose a risk of fatal injury from electric shock.

■Only touch the insulated part of the mains plug

when connecting or disconnecting it from the

mains supply!

■To prevent hazards, if the external lead on this

lamp is damaged, it must only be replaced by

the manufacturer, its service representative or an

equally qualiﬁed professional.

■Before use, verify the available mains voltage

matches the voltage required for operating the

light (220–240 V~, 50 / 60 Hz).

■Always unplug the mains plug from the socket

before cleaning or if the lamp will not be used for

an extended period of time.

Prevent ﬁre and injury

DUE TO HOT SURFACES!

Ensure the lamp has been switched oﬀ and

has cooled down before touching it to avoid burns.

Illuminants become very hot.

CAUTION! FIRE HAZARD!

Never expose the magniﬁer to direct

sunlight or other light sources. Never leave

an open magniﬁer unattended. Doing so presents a

ﬁre hazard due to focused light rays and concentrated

heat.

■Do not cover the lamp with objects. Excessive heat

build-up can result in ﬁre.

■Position the lamp so it is protected from moisture

and dirt.

■Do not hang any other objects from the product,

e.g. pieces of clothing.

■Always set the product on a sturdy, level surface.

■Do not mount the product on pipes or on round

objects.

■Do not wrap the mains cable around the product.

■Do not carry or pull the product by the mains

cable.

■Never leave the lamp unattended during opera-

tion. Excessive heat build-up can result in ﬁre.

■Lay the mains cable in such a way that nobody

will trip over it.

■The illuminant in this light must be replaced by the

manufacturer or by a service technician they have

authorised or a similarly qualiﬁed person.

The LED lamp cannot be dimmed

using an external controller.

■Do not look directly into the light source (light

bulb, LED etc.). Do not look into the light source

(light bulb, LED, etc.) with an optical instrument

(e.g. magnifying glass).

Before ﬁrst use

Note: Remove all packaging material and cable

ties from the cable and the product. Be careful when

removing the cable tie from the joint, the spring force

may cause the joint to “pop open”.

□Now place the table screw clamp 3 onto a table

top ≤ 6 cm thick and secure it by turning the screw

clockwise.

□Insert the lower articulated arm 7 into the round

hole of the bracket 2 and secure it by tightening

the locking screw 4 clockwise. Make sure that

the articulated arm 7 is securely fastened in the

holder 2.

Initial use

□Ensure that nobody can trip over the mains cable.

□Plug the mains plug 5 into a mains socket that

has been professionally installed.

Adjusting the product

□Make all changes to the alignment of the product

without using force.

□The product can be adjusted in diﬀerent ways:

- The lamp head 11 is rotatably mounted in the

ball joint 9.

- After loosening the locking screw 8, you can

adjust the lamp head 11 upwards or downwards.

Tighten the locking screw 8 again after setting

the desired position.

- You can move the individual parts of the articu-

lated arm 7 at the joints 6.

Switching the product on and oﬀ

□Switch the product on or oﬀ using the on/oﬀ

toggle switch 10.

Using the magniﬁer

□Lift the dust cover 1 to use the magniﬁer.

□Focus the object you wish to view by changing the

distance to the object and the distance between

your eyes and the magniﬁer.

IMPORTANT: Keep the dust cover 1 closed

when the magniﬁer is not in use. Please note, an

open magniﬁer always poses a ﬁre hazard as

light rays bundled by the magniﬁer can generate

concentrated heat or a ﬁre.

Maintenance and cleaning

WARNING! DANGER OF ELECTRIC

SHOCK! Remove the mains plug 5 from

the mains socket before cleaning.

WARNING! DANGER OF ELECTRIC

SHOCK! To ensure electrical

safety, never clean the lamp with aggres-

sive detergents or immerse it in water.

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE

TO HOT SURFACES! Allow the lamp

to cool down completely.

■Do not use solvents, petrol, etc. These will dam-

age the lamp.

■Only use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.

■Clean the magniﬁer using a soft, dry cloth.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of

recyclable materials, which you may

dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging

materials for waste separation, which are

marked with abbreviations (a) and

numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics /

20–22: paper and ﬁbreboard / 80–98: composite

materials.

The product and packaging materials are

recyclable, dispose of it separately for

better waste treatment. The Triman logo is

valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal

authority for more details of how to

dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please

dispose of the product properly when it has

reached the end of its useful life and not in

the household waste. Information on collection points

and their opening hours can be obtained from your

local authority.

control. We guarantee that this product is in perfect

condition. During the warranty period we will remedy

any defects in material or manufacture free of charge.

In the event of an unexpected defect, please return

the carefully packaged product to the service address

speciﬁed. The warranty does not extend to damage

due to improper opertion, or to wear parts and con-

sumables. These can be ordered from the telephone

number listed for a charge. Repairs not covered by the

warranty (e.g. light bulbs) may also be requested at

cost price from the service address listed. The product

will be repaired at the speciﬁed service location.

Timely processing and returns can only be ensured

by sending the product directly to this address. If you

CAUSA DI SUPERFICI BOLLENTI!

Per evitare ustioni assicurarsi che la lampada

sia spenta e si sia raﬀreddata prima di toccarla. Le

lampadine producono un forte calore.

CAUTELA! PERICOLO DI INCENDIO!

Non esporre mai la lente di ingrandimento

a irradiazione solare diretta o ad altre

fonti luminose. Non lasciare mai la lente di ingrandi-

mento aperta incustodita. In caso contrario, sussiste un

pericolo di incendio a causa della concentrazione dei

raggi solari e del calore.

■Non coprire la lampada con oggetti. Un’ecces-

siva produzione di calore può provocare un

incendio.

■Posizionare la lampada in modo che sia protetta

da umidità e sporcizia.

■Non appendere ulteriori oggetti, come ad es.

vestiti, al prodotto.

■Collocare sempre il prodotto su una superﬁcie

stabile e piana.

■Non avvolgere il cavo di alimentazione al

prodotto.

■Non trasportare né tirare il prodotto aﬀerrandolo

dal cavo di alimentazione.

■Non lasciare la lampada incustodita durante

il funzionamento. Un’eccessiva produzione di

calore può provocare un incendio.

■Collocare il cavo di alimentazione in modo tale

che nessuno possa inciamparvi.

■La fonte luminosa di questa lampada può essere

sostituita esclusivamente dal produttore, da un suo

tecnico del servizio di assistenza incaricato o da

una persona ugualmente qualiﬁcata.

La lampada LED non è dimmerabile con

regolatori esterni.

■Non rivolgere lo sguardo direttamente verso la

fonte luminosa (lampadina, LED, ecc.). Non esa-

minare la fonte luminosa (lampadina, LED, ecc.)

con strumenti ottici (ad es. una lente d’ingrandi-

mento).

Prima della messa in funzione

Nota: rimuovere dal prodotto l’intero materiale

di imballaggio. Fare attenzione quando si rimuove

la fascetta dal giunto, la pressione della molla può

causare l’”apertura” del giunto.

□Montare il morsetto a vite per il tavolo 3 al piano

di un tavolo con uno spessore di ≤ 6 cm e ﬁssare il

morsetto a vite avvitando la vite in senso orario.

□Inserire il braccio snodato inferiore 7 nel foro

rotondo del supporto 2 e ﬁssarlo avvitando la

vite di sicurezza 4 in senso orario. Assicurarsi

che il braccio articolato 7 sia ﬁssato saldamente

al supporto 2.

Messa in funzione

□Assicurarsi che non sia possibile inciampare nel

cavo di alimentazione.

□Inserire la spina elettrica 7 in una presa di

corrente installata a norma.

Orientamento del prodotto

□Modiﬁcare la posizione del prodotto senza

forzare.

□È possibile orientare il prodotto in diversi modi:

- nello snodo girevole 11 è possibile girare la

testa della lampada 9 .

□- dopo aver allentato la vite di regolazione 8

□è possibile spostare la testa della lampada 11 in

avanti o indietro. Dopo aver ottenuto la posizione

desiderata riavvitare la vite di regolazione 8 .

- È possibile muovere le singole parti del braccio

articolato in corrispondenza 7 dei giunti 6.

Accensione e spegnimento del prodotto

□Accendere o spegnere il prodotto con il tasto

ON / OFF 10.

Utilizzo della lente di ingrandimento

□Per utilizzare la lente di ingrandimento sollevare

la copertura di protezione antipolvere 1 .

Mettere a fuoco l’oggetto da osservare modiﬁ-

cando la distanza dall’oggetto e la distanza degli

occhi dalla lente di ingrandimento.

□IMPORTANTE: tenere la copertura di protezione

antipolvere 1 chiusa quando la lente di ingran-

dimento non viene utilizzata. Tenere presente che

una lente di ingrandimento aperta può causare

il rischio di incendio, in quanto i raggi di luce

proiettati attraverso la lente possono provocare

calore concentrato o un incendio.

Manutenzione e pulizia

AVVERTENZA! PERICOLO DI

FOLGORAZIONE! Prima di procedere

con la pulizia staccare sempre la spina

elettrica 5 dalla presa di corrente.

AVVERTENZA! PERICOLO DI

FOLGORAZIONE! Per ragioni di sicurez-

za elettrica, la lampada non deve mai essere

pulita con detergenti aggressivi né immersa in acqua.

CAUTELA! PERICOLO DI USTIONE

A CAUSA DI SUPERFICI CALDE! Lascia-

re raﬀreddare completamente la lampada.

■Non usare solventi, benzina o simili. Queste sos-

tanze potrebbero danneggiare la lampada.

■Per la pulizia usare un panno asciutto e privo di

pelucchi.

■Pulire la lente di ingrandimento con un panno

morbido e asciutto.

Smaltimento

L’imballaggio è composto da materiali

ecologici che possono essere smaltiti

presso i siti di raccolta locali per il riciclo.

Osservare l‘identiﬁcazione dei materiali di

imballaggio per lo smaltimento diﬀerenziato,

i quali sono contrassegnati da abbreviazioni

(a) e da numeri (b) con il seguente signiﬁcato: 1–7:

plastiche / 20–22: carta e cartone / 80–98: materiali

compositi.

Il prodotto e il materiale da imballaggio

sono riciclabili. Smaltire separatamente per

un ottimale trattamento dei riﬁuti. Il logo

Triman è valido solamente per la Francia.

smaltimento del prodotto usato presso

l’amministrazione comunale o cittadina.

Per questioni di tutela ambientale non

gettare il prodotto usato tra i riﬁuti

domestici, ma provvedere invece al suo

corretto smaltimento. Presso l’amministrazione

competente è possibile ricevere informazioni circa i siti

di raccolta e i relativi orari di apertura.
