Recommendations

EN

• Before using DFW50 for the rst time, it must be charged for

around 3 hours. Battery charge time will be 2 hours 30 minutes

thereafter.

• DFW50 is designed to be used inside.

• DFW50 is designed for household use only.

• DFW50 is only to be used on hard oors. Do not use the appliance

on walls, windows or any other surface that is not recommended.

• DFW50 is free-standing. When the appliance is in use, ensure

that you hold the control handle rmly.

• Do not place DFW50 in water or any other liquid.

• Do not touch the appliance's rotating disks or cleaning pads

while it is in use.

• The water tank has a capacity of 300ml and can cover a surface

area of 100m2 to 140m2.

• DFW50 must be used on at surfaces or sloped surfaces at an

angle of no more than 80°.

• DFW50 must be unplugged before use.

• Please switch o the appliance before handling it (maintenance,

storage).

• The control handle requires 2 x LR03-type batteries (AAA), which

are included.

Assembling and charging the appliance

Assembling the appliance

Connect the control handle to

the tube, then attach the tube to

the main body.

Check that the tube's fastening

buttons are correctly aligned.

Plug the power cable into the removable battery (Figure 1). When

the battery is charging, the indicator lights ash from bottom to top.

When the battery is charged, all of the indicator lights are solid.

Once the battery is fully charged, place the battery into its holder

(Figures 2 and 3).

When the appliance is in use, the indicator lights turn o one by one

to indicate that the battery is weak.

NOTES:

• The electric oor cleaner battery may already be charged when you receive it.

However, you are recommended to charge the appliance for 3 hours before

using it. Battery charge time will be around 2 hours 30 minutes thereafter.

• When the battery is 100% charged, the 3 LEDs are on. 2 LEDs indicate that the

battery is about 65% charged. 1 LED means that the battery level is below 30%.

• You are not recommended to charge the battery if more than one LED is on.

• If the appliance is not used for a long period of time, you are recommended to

fully charge the battery, turn it o and store it in a cool, dry place.

Control handle

Insert the AAA batteries in the battery compartment at the back of

the control handle.

NOTE: The batteries included with the appliance are not rechargeable. Please recy-

cle them once used.

Preparing the appliance

Attaching the cleaning pads

Attach the cleaning pads to the appliance's rotating disks using the

Velcros.

NOTE: The pink cleaning pads are recommended for wet mopping and the blue

cleaning pads are designed for dry mopping or polishing delicate oors.

Filling the water tank

Open the water tank's cap and carefully pour in clean water and

some oor cleaner. Close the water tank cap.

NOTES:

• The water tank has a maximum capacity of 300ml to cover a surface area of

around 100m2 to 140m2.

• For optimum cleaning, check the dilution ratio indicated on the detergent bottle.

• Only use oor cleaner products.

• Do not use the appliance on rugs or carpets.

• If you are using the appliance to dry mop, you do not need to ll the water tank.

Before you start cleaning, you

need to unlock the appliance.

Ensure that the the cleaner is

rmly against the oor using

your foot then recline the handle

backwards (Figure 1).

Press the power button on the top of the main body to turn the

DFW50 on (Figure 2). The LED lights turn on (Figure 3) when the

appliance is ready to use.

Press the ON/OFF button on the control handle to start the appliance.

NOTES:

• The appliance must not be used for more than 20 consecutive minutes as this

may damage the motor.

• The appliance is free-standing. When you start the appliance, hold it rmly by

its control handle to avoid any damage.

• When the appliance is not active for around 10 minutes, it automatically goes

into standby. The LED lights are o. Press the ON/OFF button twice to come out

of standby mode.

Operating modes

Dry mopping or polishing

Attach the blue cleaning pads (for dry mopping or polishing) to

the appliance's rotating disks using the Velcros. Dry mopping is

recommended for removing dust from oors or for polishing them.

The cleaning pads must be completely dry and the water tanks empty

when you use this cleaning mode. These cleaning pads are suitable

for polishing delicate oor surfaces, such as waxed concrete. You

need to use a oor polish for this cleaning mode.

Wet mopping

Attach the cleaning pads (pink pads with fringing)

to the appliance's rotating disks using the Velcros.

Use the measuring cup included to pour the oor

cleaning detergent of your choice into the water tank

(see the Preparing the water tank diagram on page 8).

Once the oor cleaner has started, press the spray button to dampen

the oor. Then guide the appliance to clean and remove stains.

NOTES:

• The appliance may heat up when in use. Turn it o and wait until it returns to a

normal temperature before using it again.

• When you start using the wet mopping mode, you may need to activate the

water tank pump. To do so, press the spray button several times. You can start

cleaning when water starts to come out of the nozzle.

Stopping the appliance

Press the ON/OFF button on the control handle to stop the appliance,

then turn it o using the button on the water tank.

Water tank

Empty the water tank completely after each cleaning cycle. Remove

the rigid tube and turn the water tank over. Then wash it with clean

water.

Regularly check that the water tank cap is not blocked with dirt or

limescale. Clean it with a soft cloth.

Cleaning pads

The cleaning pads are machine washable at 30° maximum or may

be handwashed with clean water.

Please contact DOMOOVA technical department in the following

cases:

• If the appliance has been dropped, damaged or come into

contact with water.

• If the power cable is damaged.

• If the battery is defective.
