Thank you for purchasing an ELMA brand pro-
duct.
We hope that you will enjoy the product that you
have purchased for a long time.
Read this instruction manual closely before tur-
ning on the device, and keep it for later consul-
tation. The non-observation or compliance with
these instructions may result in an accident.
Before using the product for the first time, clean
all parts of the product which may come into con-
tact with food, proceeding as indicated in the
cleaning section.
• This device has been designed for domestic and
similar non-industrial applications.
• This device may be used by individuals with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or
with a lack of experience and knowledge, if they
are appropriately supervised or trained in using
the device in a safe manner, and understand the
dangers that it entails.
• This device may be used be children of 8 years
and over, if they have appropriate supervision or
instructions for using the device in a safe manner
and understand the dangers that it entails.
• Children must not carry out the user cleaning or
maintenance unless they are over 8 years of age
and are supervised.
• Keep the device and its power supply out of the
reach of children under 8 years of age.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the device.
• Disconnect the device and unplug it from its
power supply before changing the accessories or
parts which move during use, during assembly,
disassembly and cleaning.
• If the power connection is damaged, it must be
replaced to prevent danger. Do not attempt to di-
sassemble it or repair it yourself. Contact ELMA
technical support.
• Before connecting the device to the power
supply, check that the voltage shown on the type
label matches the power supply voltage.
• Connect the device to a power supply with a
ground connection, and which supports a mini-
mum of 10 amps.
• The plug of the device must match the electrical
connection of the power supply.
• Do not force the electrical cable. Never use the
electrical cable to lift, move or unplug the device.
• Do not wrap the electrical cable around the
device.
• Do not let the electrical cable become caught
or twisted.
• Do not leave the electrical cable hanging over
the edge of the table or let it come into contact
with the hot surfaces of the device.
• Check the state of the electrical cable. Dama-
ged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric
shock.
• Do not touch the connection plug with wet
hands.
• Do not use the device if the electrical cable or
plug is damaged.
• If any part of the device casing breaks, im-
mediately disconnect the device from the power
supply to prevent the possibility of an electric
shock.
• Do not use the device if it has fallen or if there
are visible signs of damage.
• Keep the work area clean and well lit. Untidy
and dark areas are likely to cause accidents.
• Firmly attach the device, fastening it to the side
of the container or pot. Place the container on a
flat surface to prevent spillage and tipping. Do not
place the device on a stove or oven.
• Do not submerge the device over the maximum
level shown on the stainless steel body.
• This device is not suitable for use outdoors; use
only indoors.
• Do not use or keep the device in inclement
weather.
• Do not expose the device to the rain or wet con-
ditions. Water entering the device will increase
the risk of electric shock.
• The device should not be used by individuals
who cannot detect heat (as this device has heated
surfaces).
• Do not touch the moving parts of the device
while it is operating.
• Do not touch the heated parts of the device, as
this may cause burns.
• Do not touch the metallic parts or body of the
device when it is operating, as this may cause
burns.
