5 Intended use

The air purifier is only intended to be installed to the ACC3100D ventilation systems. The air purifier is intended to

clean the air and to reduce dust, odors, particles, and mold.

This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accordance with these instructions.

This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or operation of the product. Poor in-

stallation and/or improper operating or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible failure.

The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product resulting from:

• Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage

• Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts provided by the manufacturer

• Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer

• Use for purposes other than those described in this manual

Dometic reserves the right to change product appearance and product specifications.

6 Technical description

The air purifier cleans the air and reduces dust, odors, particles, and mold. For this purpose the air purifier uses nee-

dle point ionization to create both negative and positive ions that purify the air. The purified air is carried through the

ductwork and out into the ventilated space.

7 Installation

WARNING! Electric hazard

Disconnect the electrical connections before installing the device.

1. Remove the upper cover of the rooop unit.



2. Mount the air purifier.



3. Mount the upper cover of the roof top unit.



4. Remove ADB center cover.



5. Remove the cable ties.

NOTICE! Damage hazard

• Do not cut the cable.

• Disconnect the plugs without using force.



7. Mount the ionization needle.

8. Connect the air purifier plug to socket C5.

9. Remount the interior cover.

12. Secure the cables with the cable ties.



13. Remove the outer air filter from the ADB center cover.



14. Attach the product label to the ADB center cover.

15. Replace the outer air filter to the ADB center cover.

16. Clip the ADB center cover to the interior cover.



8 Operation

The air purifier operates automatically when the ventilation system is activated.

The indicator lights up when the air purifier is active.

9 Cleaning and maintenance

Check and clean the ionization needle periodically and, if applicable, each time when maintenance the air fil-

ter.

10 Troubleshooting

If the device does not work as described or the power cable is damaged, contact the manufacturer’s service agent

( documents.dometic.com/contact).

11 Disposal

Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins wherever possible. Consult a local

recycling center or specialist dealer for details about how to dispose of the product in accordance with

the applicable disposal regulations. The product can be disposed free of charge.

Le purificateur d’air est uniquement destiné à être installé sur les systèmes de ventilation ACC3100D. Le purificateur

d’air est conçu pour nettoyer l’air et réduire la poussière, les odeurs, les particules et les moisissures.

Ce produit convient uniquement à l’usage et à l’application prévus, conformément au présent manuel d’instructions.

Ce manuel fournit les informations nécessaires à l’installation et/ou à l’utilisation correcte du produit. Une installa-

tion, une utilisation ou un entretien inappropriés entraînera des performances insatisfaisantes et une éventuelle dé-

faillance.

6 Description technique

Le purificateur d’air purifie l’air et réduit la poussière, les odeurs, les particules et les moisissures. À cet effet, le purifi-

cateur d’air utilise un processus l’ionisation à aiguilles pour créer des ions négatifs et positifs qui purifient l’air. L’air pu-

rifié est acheminé à travers les conduites vers l’espace ventilé.

7 Installation

Débranchez les raccords électriques avant d’installer l’appareil.

1. Retirez le capot supérieur de l’unité de toit.



4. Retirez le capot central du caisson de distribution d’air.



5. Retirez les serre-câbles.
