INTRODUCTION
The UAG Rugged Bluetooth Keyboard with Trackpad offers 360° unstoppable protection. Utilizing
a rugged, non-slip exterior, the rugged keyboard represent’s UAG’s commitment to protection. With
Bluetooth connectivity, the keyboard offers superior laptop-style typing experience and tracking,
back-lit keys, and spill resistance. Low power Bluetooth connectivity keeps your keyboard running
longer on a single charge.

CASE INSTALLATION
1. Place your case on a flat surface.
2. Align your devices camera with the camera opening on the case.
3. Insert your device at an angle starting at the top (camera side).
4. Let your device rest on the bottom of the case and gently press it down into the case.
5. Press around all the edges to ensure your device is installed properly in the case.
6. Unfold the keyboard cover and place it flat on flat surface.
7. Take your device in the case and rest it in the center groove above the keyboard as shown below.
Ensure the case is oriented with the Pencil holder on top. You should feel the magnets engage.
8. While still holding the case, lift the back cover and engage the magnets against the back of the
case as shown below.

VIEWING ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
The Rugged Bluetooth Keyboard features built-in magnets that work together with the cover-stand
to create 4 viewing angles.
To adjust the viewing angle, simply slide the cover-stand up or down along the back of the device
case until the desired position is found. You should feet the magnets engage as you adjust the
cover-stand.
POWERING YOUR KEYBOARD
Ensure your keyboard has been charged using the included USB-C charging cable and a compatible
USB-C 5V charger (not included). You can also charge your keyboard from a compatible USB-C port
on a computing device.
TO POWER ON:
Locate the Power key on the top right corner of your keyboard. Press and hold the Power key
for 1 second until the power LED lights up solid, then release.
TO POWER OFF:
Press and hold the Power key for 3 seconds. The power LED will flash 3 times, indicating the
keyboard has been powered off.
STANDBY MODE:
Your keyboard will go into Standby mode after 40 seconds of inactivity. Press any key to wake
it.
PAIRING YOUR KEYBOARD
The Rugged Bluetooth Keyboard can pair with up to 2 devices. Once paired, you can easily toggle
between devices by pressing the Bluetooth 1 and Bluetooth 2 keys on the keyboard. To pair, follow
the instructions below.
1. Ensure your device’s Bluetooth connection is enabled.
2. Press and hold the 1 or 2 key for 3 seconds. Release the key after the LED on the Power key
begins flashing rapidly. Your keyboard is now in pairing mode.
3. Go to your device Bluetooth settings and search for “UAG Keyboard 0XXXX”. The last four digits
should coincide with the digits listed on the white label located to the left of the track pad.
4. Select the appropriate keyboard on your Bluetooth device list.
5. You will immediately be prompted to enter a security passkey.

6. Key in the corresponding 4 digited passkey on your UAG Rugged Bluetooth keyboard followed by
the Return or Enter key.
7. Your Keyboard should now be paired and connected with your device.
8. Repeat the steps above to pair a second device or if the pairing process fails.
BATTERY LIFE CHECK
Press fn + “B” key. This will cause the LED indicator on the Power key to flash one of the following
ways:
1. Four flashes = ~ 80% - 100% battery life.
2. Three flashes = ~60% - 79% battery.
3. Two flashes = ~35% - 59% battery.
4. One flash = low battery <34%
To help preserve battery life, your Bluetooth Keyboard will enter sleep mode if left on and not used
for several minutes; press any key to wake it.
NOTE: The backlights will automatically turn off after 40 seconds if not used. Begin typing again to
activate them.
FUNCTION KEYS
BLUETOOTH 1: Pairs with your keyboard preferred device.
BLUETOOTH 2: Pairs your Keyboard to a second device. If you have paired with other devices,
press 1 or 2 to instantly switch between them.
HOME: Displays your device’s home screen.
LOCK: Activates and deactivates your devices sleep mode.
MICROPHONE: Activates Siri
LANGUAGE SYMBOL: Toggles between keyboard languages (if active on your device).
KEYBOARD HIDE/SHOW: Hides or shows your device’s on-screen keyboard.
PREVIOUS TRACK: Skips to the previous track on your selected playlist.
PLAY/PAUSE: Starts or pauses your current playlist.
NEXT TRACK: Skips to the next track on your selected playlist.
MUTE: Mutes your device’s audio.
VOLUME DOWN: Decreases your device’s volume.
VOLUME UP: Increases your devices volume.
POWER: Turns your keyboard on/off. Hold for 1 second to power ON, 3 seconds to power Off.

CAPS LOCK: Activates the Caps Lock feature. When Caps Lock is on, an indicator light will
remain lit until it is turned off. To turn Caps Lock off, press Caps again.
LED ADJUSTMENT
FN + - Use this toggle between 7 LED colors
FN + - Toggle the backlit level of intensity.
TRACKPAD
The Trackpad supports most common Multi-Touch gestures including:
