Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the LINDY DisplayPort 1.2 Repeater. This DisplayPort Repeater allows

you to transmit DisplayPort signals up to resolutions of 4K@60Hz or 1600p, up to a distance of

17.5m / 60feet or 30m / 100feet using two GOLD or SLD DisplayPort cables.

 Supports DisplayPort v1.2, resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K@60Hz) / 2560x1600 (1600p)

Pre-Installation Remarks

Please Note: This Repeater cannot be used with DisplayPort to HDMI, VGA or DVI

adapters/converters due to the lack of DisplayPort Dual mode (DP++) support.

Resolutions & cable lengths:

4K@60Hz: up to 17.5m (10m in / 7.5m out) with LINDY GOLD cables

1600p: up to 30m (15m in / 15m out) with LINDY GOLD cables

4K@30Hz: up to 17.5m (10m in / 7.5m out) with LINDY SLD cables

1600p: up to 25m (15m in / 10m out) with LINDY SLD cables

Installation

1. Plug the included PSU to the Repeater and to a corresponding wall socket

2. Connect a DisplayPort cable to the source DP socket (PC, DVD Player, etc.) and to the

input of the Repeater (marked “PC”)

3. Plug the second DisplayPort cable to the output (marked with “Monitor”) of the Repeater

and to the input of the Display.

Please Note: If you use two different cable lengths, please use the longer cable for the input

and the shorter cable for the output of the repeater – otherwise you may get signal issues.

Vielen Dank für den Kauf des LINDY DisplayPort 1.2 Repeaters. Dieser DisplayPort Repeater

ermöglicht es Ihnen DisplayPort-Signale über eine Distanz von bis zu 17,5m bzw. 30m bei einer

Auflösung von bis zu 4K@60Hz bzw. 1600p, mittels LINDY GOLD oder LINDY SLD DisplayPort

Kabeln, zu übertragen.

Installation – Vorbemerkungen

Bitte beachten Sie: Dieser Repeater kann nicht in Verbindung mit DisplayPort zu HDMI, VGA

oder auch DVI Konvertern/Adaptern genutzt werden (Kein DisplayPort Dual Mode/DP++ Support)

Installation

1. Verbinden Sie das beigefügte Netzteil mit der Buchse des Repeaters und mit einer

entsprechenden Steckdose.

2. Verbinden Sie das erste DisplayPort Kabel mit der Signalquelle (PC, DVD Player, etc.) und

mit der Eingangsbuchse des Repeaters (gekennzeichnet mit „PC“).

3. Verbinden Sie das zweite DisplayPort Kabel mit der Ausgangsbuchse (gekennzeichnet mit

“Monitor”) des Repeaters und mit dem entsprechenden Endgerät.

4. Das Gerät ist nun bereit zur Nutzung.

Bitte beachten Sie: Falls Sie unterschiedlich lange Kabel verwenden, nutzen Sie immer das

längere Kabel zwischen Quelle und Eingangsbuchse und das kürzere zwischen

Ausgangsbuche und Endgerät – andernfalls kann es zu Signalverlust führen.

Important: ce répéteur ne peut pas être utilisé avec des adaptateurs/convertisseurs DisplayPort

vers HDMI, VGA ou DVI en raison de non prise en charge DisplayPort Dual mode (DP++).

Installation

Veuillez noter: si vous utilisez deux câbles de différentes longueurs, merci de connecter le

pas de signal.

NOTA BENE: Questo ripetitore non può essere utilizzato con adattatori / convertitori DisplayPort

Installazione

1. Collegate l’alimentatore fornito al ripetitore e a una presa di alimentazione.

2. Collegate il primo cavo DisplayPort alla porta della sorgente (PC, DVD Player, etc.) e alla

porta in ingresso (indicata con “PC”) del ripetitore.

3. Collegate il secondo cavo DisplayPort all’uscita del ripetitore (indicata con “Monitor”) e

all’ingresso del monitor utilizzato.

N.B. : Se utilizzate cavi di lunghezza differente collegate sempre il cavo più lungo all’ingresso

del ripetitore e quello più corto all’uscita; in caso contrario potreste non riuscire a tramettere il

segnale al monitor.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste

electrical and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic
