cause
the
tool
to
jump.
9.
After
changing
the
cutting
wheel
and
accessories
or
making
adjustments,
make
sure
the
collet
nut

shock
if
your
body
is
grounded.
3.
Double
insulated
tools
are
equipped
with
a
polarized
plug
(one
blade
is
wider
than
the
other.)
This
plug
will
fit
in
a
polarized
outlet
only
one
way.
If
the
plug
does
not
fit
fully
in
the
outlet,
reverse
the
plug.
If
it
still
does
not
fit,
contact
a
qualified
electrician
to
install
a
polarized
outlet.
Do
not
change
the
plug
in
any
way.
Double
insulation
eliminates
the
need
for
a
three
wire
grounded
power
cord
and
grounded
power
supply
system.
4.
Grounded
tools
must
be
plugged
into
an
outlet
that
is
properly
installed
and
grounded
in
accordance
with
all
codes
and
ordinances.
Never
remove
the
grounding
prong
or
modify
the
plug
in
any
way.
Do
not
use
any
adapter
plugs.
Check
with
a
qualified
electrician
if
you
are
in
doubt
as
to
whether
the
outlet
is
properly
grounded.
If
the
tool
should
electronically
malfunction
or
break
down,
grounding
provides
a
low
resistance
path
to
carry
electricity
away
from
the
user.
5.
Do
not
abuse
the
cord.
Never
use
the
cord
to
carry
tools
or
pull
the
plug
from
an
outlet.
Keep

6.
When
operating
a
power
tool
outside,
use
an
outdoor
extension
cord
marked
"W-A"
or
"W".
These
cords
are
rated
for
outdoor
use
and
reduce
the
risk
of
electric
shock.
Use
in
conjunction
with
a
Ground
Fault
Circuit
Interrupter
(GFCI).
If
operating
a
power
tool
in
a
damp
location
is
unavoidable,
the
use
of
a
GFCI
reduces
the
risk
of
electric
shock.
It
is
recommended
that
the
GFCI
should
have
a
rated
residual
current
of
30
mA
or
less.
7.
Avoid
using
an
unnecessarily
long
extension
cord.
Choose
a
cord
that
is
appropriate
for
the
situation,
as
a
cord
that
is
too
long
and
running
across
the
floor
can
be
more
dangerous
than
helpful.
Using
a
cord
that
is
too
long
or
too
thin
could
damage
the
tool.
Unroll
the
cord
completely
to
prevent
it
from
overheating.
8.
Place
the
electrical
cord
in
a
position
that
prevents
it
from
coming
into
contact
with
the
tool
and
from
getting
caught
by
the
work
piece.
The
cord
should
always
stay
behind
the
tool.
9.
Keep
all
connections
dry
and
off
the
ground
to
reduce
the
risk
of
electric
shock.
Do
not
touch
the
plug
with
wet
hands.
WARNING!
People
with
pacemakers
should
consult
their
physician(s)
before
using
this
product.
Operations
of
electrical
equipment
in
close
proximity
to
a
heart
pacemaker
could
cause
interference
or
failure
of
the
pacemaker.
LOW
VOLTAGE
Low
voltage
may
cause
overheating
due
to
higher
power
current
being
drawn
to
the
tool
that
will
shorten
the
motor
life.
An
extension
cord
may
cause
a
drop
in
power
to
the
tool
if
it
is
too
long
or
the
amperage
rating
is
not
correct.
This
may
result
in
the
following:
1.
The
tool
will
not
activate
when
switched
on.
2.
The
tool
may
switch
on,
but
fails
to
maintain
power
when
applied
to
a
workpiece.
3.
The
tool
may
overheat,
possibly
starting
a
fire.

KICKBACK
PRECAUTIONS
Kickback
is
a
sudden
reaction
to
a
pinched,
bound
or
misaligned
disc,
causing
an
uncontrolled
tool
to
lift
up
and
out
of
the
workpiece
toward
the
operator;
-
when
the
disc
is
pinched
or
bound
tightly
by
the
workpiece
closing
down,
the
disc
stalls
and
the
motor
reaction
drives
the
tool
rapidly
back
toward
the
operator.
Kickback
may
result
in
loss
of
control
of
the
tool
leading
to
serious
personal
injury
and
I
or
damage
to
the
workpiece
and
I
or
tool.
Kickback
can
be
avoided
by
taking
proper
precautions:
1.
Maintain
a
firm
grip
on
the
tool
and
position
your
body
and
arms
to
allow
you
to
resist
kickback
forces.
Kickback
will
propel
the
tool
in
the
direction
opposite
to
the
wheel's
movement
at
the
time
of
snagging.
2.
Never
place
your
hand
near
the
disc.
If
kickback
occurs,
the
disc
may
pass
over
your
hand
and
seriously
injury
you.
Use
clamps
or
a
vice
to
hold
down
the
workpiece.
3.
Use
special
care
when
working
on
corners,
sharp
edges
etc.
Corners,
sharp
edges
or
bouncing
have
a
tendency
to
snag
the
disc
and
cause
loss
of
control
or
kickback.
4.
When
the
disc
is
binding,
or
when
interrupting
a
cut
for
any
reason,
release
the
trigger
and
hold
the
tool
motionless
in
the
material
until
the
tool
comes
to
a
complete
stop.
Never
attempt
to
remove
the
tool
from
the
workpiece
or
pull
the
tool
backward
while
the
disc
is
in
motion
or
kickback
may
occur.
Investigate
and
take
corrective
actions
to
eliminate
the
cause
of
disc
binding.

5.
Never
restart
the
cutting
operation
in
the
workpiece.
Allow
the
wheel
to
reach
full
speed
and
carefully
reenter
the
cut.
If
saw
blade
is
binding,
it
may
walk
up
or
kickback
from
the
workpiece
as
the
cut-off
saw
is
restarted.
6.
Support
large
panels
to
minimize
the
risk
of
disc
pinching
and
kickback.
Large
panels
tend
to
sag
under
their
own
weight.
Supports
must
be
placed
under
the
panel
on
both
sides,
near
the
line
of
cut
and
near
the
edge
of
the
panel.
7.
To
minimize
the
risk
of
disc
pinching
and
kickback,
when
cutting
operation
requires
the
resting
of
the
tool
on
the
workpiece,
the
tool
should
be
rested
on
the
larger
portion
and
the
smaller
piece
cut
off.
8.
Use
extra
caution
when
making
a
"plunge
cut"
into
existing
walls
or
other
blind
areas.
The
protruding
disc
may
cut
objects
that
can
cause
kickback.
9.
Only
use
discs
designed
for
tool.
Do
not
use
dull
or
damaged
discs.
Unsharpened
or
improperly
set
discs
produce
narrow
cut
causing
excessive
friction,
disc
binding
and
kickback.
Keep
discs
sharp
and
clean.
Gum
and
wood
pitch
hardened
on
blades
slows
the
tool
and
increases
potential
for
kickback.
10.
Never
force
the
tool.
Forcing
the
tool
can
cause
uneven
cuts,
loss
of
accuracy,
and
possible
kickback.
Push
the
tool
forward
at
a
speed
so
that
the
disc
cuts
without
slowing.
VIBRATION
PRECAUTIONS
This
tool
vibrates
during
use.
Repeated
or
long-term
exposure
to
vibration
may
cause
temporary
or
permanent
physical
injury,
particularly
to
the
hands,
arms
and
shoulders.

V4.0
MAINTENANCE
It
has
been
found
that
electric
tools
are
subjected
to
accelerated
wear
and
possible
premature
failure
when
they
are
used
for
cutting
and
grinding
metals.
The
grindings
from
these
materials
are
highly
abrasive
to
electric
tool
parts
such
as
bearings,
brushes,
commutators,
etc.
Consequently,
it
is
not
recommended
that
this
tool
be
used
for
extended
work
on
any
metals.
During
any
use
on
these
materials
it
is
extremely
important
that
the
tool
is
cleaned
frequently
by
blowing
it
out
with
an
air
jet.
CAUTION!
Disconnect
the
power
cord
from
the
power
supply
before
any
maintenance
or
cleaning.
Do
not
use
water
or
corrosive
fluids
to
clean
electrical
parts
of
the
tool.
1.
Maintain
the
tool
with
care.
A
tool
in
good
condition
is
efficient,
easier
to
control
and
will
prevent
unnecessary
problems.
2.
Keep
the
tool
handles
clean,
dry
and
free
from
oil/grease
at
all
times.
3.
Follow
instructions
for
changing
accessories.
4.
Inspect
the
tool
fittings
periodically.
Have
damaged
or
worn
components
repaired
or
replaced
by
an
authorized
technician.
5.
Inspect
the
tool
fittings,
alignment,
power
supply
cord
and
components
periodically.
Have
damaged
or
worn
components
repaired
or
replaced
by
an
authorized
technician.
6.
Sharp
tools
are
safer
than
dull
tools.
Applying
excessive
force
while
using
a
dull
tool
can
lead
to
slips
and
cause
damage
to
your
work
piece
or
personal
injury.
7.
Maintain
the
tool's
label
and
name
plate.
These
carry
important
information.
If
unreadable
or
missing,
contact
Princess
Auto
Ltd.
for
replacements.
8.
Periodically
check
the
carbon
brushes
and
replace
worn
out
brushes
(see
Replacing
Carbon
Brushes).
9.
Keep
the
vent
passages
clear
of
accumulated
dirt,
dust,
and
oil.
10.
Clean
the
tool
after
each
use.
