1. Control panel.
2. Grease filters (inside the extractor grille).
3. Lighting unit.
4. Pull-out steam deflector.
5. Fastener for opening and closing grille
(The blue arrows show the direction of opening).
Model AKR 680 is not fitted with its own
extraction unit (motor). It must therefore be
connected to an external extraction unit.
MOUNTING OR RENEWING THE
CARBON FILTER:
Carbon filters cannot be used with model
AKR 680.
1. Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2. Pull out the steam deflector.
3. Open the rear extractor grille.
4. If the carbon filter is already mounted and needs
renewing, turn anticlockwise.
5. If the filter is not mounted: insert the carbon filter
above the motor protection grille.
Line up the reference mark on the edge of the
carbon filer (a) with the arrow on the cowl (b).
Then turn clockwise.
6. Close the rear extractor grille.
RENEWING BULBS
1. Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2. Pull out the steam deflector.
3. Open the rear extractor grille.
4. Remove the burnt-out bulb and insert a new one.
Use 40 W max (E14) bulbs only.
5. Close the rear extractor grille.
REMOVING AND RENEWING OR
CLEANING THE GREASE FILTER:
1. Unplug the appliance or switch off the mains
power supply.
2. Pull out the steam deflector.
3. Open the rear extractor grille.
4. Remove the device fixing the grease filter and
remove the dirty grease filter.
5. After renewing (for paper grease filters) or
cleaning (for metal grease filters) the grease filter
repeat the above steps in reverse to reassemble,
making sure the entire extraction surface is
covered.
CONTROL PANEL
To switch on the hood, pull
out the steam drawer. To
switch off the hood, close the
steam drawer.
A. Light switch.
B. Speed selector (apart from
model AKR 680):
1 = small amount of steam
and fumes.
2 = large amount of steam
and fumes.
