Commissioning
Requirements
The commissioning and fault analysis of the
KHS-Hygiene Flushing Box 2 are carried out
by a smartphone and the KEMPER HS2 app.
The KEMPER HS2 app is available for
free for Android and iOS smartphones in the
respective App Store (see QR-code).
The app communicates via Bluetooth interface
with the KHS-Hygiene Flushing Box 2
.
Commissioning with
KEMPER HS2 app
When installed and connected, the red LED of
the KHS-Hygiene Flushing Box 2 is blinking till
first commissioning.

Install KEMPER HS2 app on your
smartphone. Scan QR code or go
to hs2app.kemper-olpe.de to
install.
Factory settings
The factory settings of the KHS-Hygiene
Flushing Box 2 are shown in table 1. This is
the valid program if nothing else is configured.

It is recommended to set up a project
specific program for the KHS-Hygiene
Flushing Box 2, as each water installation has
different characteristics.
Display of operating mode
The control unit of the KHS-Hygiene Flushing
Box 2 displays the following operating

Start KEMPER HS2 app and
perform the following steps.

Connect smartphone to KHS Hygiene
Flushing Box 2 via Bluetooth.

Enter the menu <hardware setup>.
Check the settings and change them if
required.

Enter the menu <operating
modes>.
Configure the
operating times.
External control
The KHS-Hygiene Flushing Box 2 can be
activated externally via a KHS-Mini System
Control or a building management system.
In this case, a direct configuration is not
required. The KHS-Hygiene Flushing Box 2 can
be set up and operated by the external control.

1) The buzzer can be put to snooze mode with the button
<TEST>. If the error still exists after 24 hours, the buzzer
is activated again.
