ASSEMBLY AND INSTRUCTION GUIDE

Your usb rechargeable tag-along light is not just a flashlight!

It is a portable, versatile, multi-use and multi-mount light bar with 6 brilliant LEDs that provides light where and when you need it. The

integral, rechargeable Lithium-ion battery charges via the included USB charging cable when connected to a computer, car cell phone

jack or wall adaptor. When fully charged, the battery provides up to 5 hours of light.

The Tag-Along Light is perfect for many different uses in different locations and situations.

• In the house: Light a closet, a circuit breaker box, a file cabinet, kitchen cabinets, crawlspaces and more!

• In the car: Light a trunk or toolbox; use as an emergency flashlight, a hood light, and more!

• In other locations: Light a tent, a locker, utility room or any other location you need quick, bright, portable light.

OPERATING YOUR TAG-ALONG LIGHT

Before the first use of the Tag-Along Light, it should charge for 2 hours. Use the included USB cable to connect the light to a computer

or any regular phone charger. A fully charged battery pack can provide power to the light for up to 5 hours.

NOTE: Do not use any turbo or fast chargers as they can damage the Tag-Along Light!

NOTE: If using a phone charger, only use trusted chargers provided by the phone manufacturer.

A red light will appear by the motion sensor if your light is charging properly. Once the light is fully charged, the red light will turn green.

The Tag-Along Light is simply operated by moving the power switch located on the side of the light as shown below:

There are three settings:

OFF: The light is off and will stay off.

ON: The light will activate once the switch is moved to this setting and the light will stay on as long as the switch is at the ON

setting and the battery pack has energy.

AUTO with Motion Activation: The light will activate when motion is detected in a dark environment. The light will stay on as long

as motion is detected, there are no external light sources nearby and the battery pack has energy. The motion sensor has a range

of 15 feet and 150°.

When the battery is drained, simply plug in the charging cable and charge the light for 2 hours to get up to another 5 hours of use.

MOUNTING OPTIONS

There are a number of ways to secure your Tag-Along Light.

The Mounting Bracket

This bracket is perfect for creating a “Home Base” for the Tag-Along light. The bracket can be

mounted with either the mounting hardware provided (screws and anchors) or double-sided tape.

The tape works great for drywall; however, we recommend using the hardware for any other

type of surface. You can place the mounting bracket near an outlet for easy charging or under

a cabinet, in a closet, on the wall in the garage/mud room, or anywhere else that is convenient.

To install the mounting bracket with the sticky tape:

1. Simply peel off the protective layers and place the sticky tape on the flat side of the

mounting bracket.

2. Place the mounting bracket on the mounting surface and press and hold for 10 seconds.

To install the mounting bracket with the mounting hardware:

1. The mounting bracket comes attached to the Tag-Along Light. Grab the edge of the

mounting bracket and pull the bracket off of the light.

2. Put the flat side of the mounting bracket against the mounting surface. Mark the center

of the mounting holes with a pen or pencil.

3. If the surface is very hard, you may need to drill holes before installing the screws or wall

anchors. The wall anchors should be used for drywall with no stud behind it, cement,

brick, or similar surfaces. If you are installing into wood or into drywall with a stud behind

it, then the wall anchor is not needed.

4. If you are installing wall anchors, remove the mounting bracket from the wall and install

the wall anchors. If you are not using wall anchors, skip to step 5.

5. Install the screws through the mounting bracket holes into the surface at the points you

marked in Step 2 or into the back of the wall anchors installed in step 4.

The Hook

The Tag-Along Light has an included hook built in the backside

of the light. To access the hook:

1. Remove the light from the mounting bracket

2. Grab the edge of the hook, pull out of the light and

rotate to the desired position.

You can use the hook to hang the light from bars, other hooks,

ledges, holes, or any protruding objects around your home.

With the hook the light is perfect for lockers and cabinets.

The Magnets

There are two small magnets on the back of the Tag-Along Light. They are the two small, shiny metal plates you see on the back

once the light is separated from the mounting bracket. Once the mounting bracket is removed, these strong magnets will stick to any

magnetic surface. The mounting bracket must be removed in order for the magnets to be strong enough to stick to another magnetic

surface.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

Light does not turn

on when there is

movement in the

detection area.

• Make sure there are no other light sources in the area. Reposition the Tag-Along light as

needed to avoid other light sources.

• The motion sensor is pointed away from the motion. Reposition the light so the motion

sensor faces the direction most motion will occur.

• The switch may be set to OFF or ON. Check the switch to ensure it is set to AUTO.

Light turns on for no

apparent reason (false

trigger)

• Redirect the light so the motion sensor is facing a different direction.

• Heat sources such as dryers, refrigerators, ovens, automobiles and more may trigger the

motion sensor. Redirect the light to avoid any of these sources.

Light does not turn

on at all • Make sure the switch is not set to OFF.

• If the switch is set to ON, the battery needs to be charged. Turn the light OFF and follow the

instructions for charging the battery in the Operating Your Tag-Along Light.

Votre tag-along light rechargeable n’est pas qu’une simple lampe de poche !

Il s’agit d’une barre lumineuse, à usage et support multiples, équipée de 6 LEDs brillantes. La batterie rechargeable au lithium-ion se

recharge via le câble USB fourni lorsqu’il est branché à un ordinateur, une prise de voiture ou une prise murale. Entièrement chargée,

la batterie peut rester allumée pendant 5 heures.

Votre Tag-Along Light est parfaite pour une multitude d’utilisations différentes, quel que soit l’endroit et la situation.

• A la maison : éclairez une pièce sombre, une boîte de disjoncteurs, un livre, un tiroir et bien plus encore !

• Dans la voiture : éclairez votre coffre ou votre boîte à gants ; utilisez-la comme lampe de poche d’urgence, comme

lumière de capot et bien plus encore !

• Dans d’autres endroits : éclairez une tente, un casier, une buanderie ou tout autre endroit dont vous avez besoin d’une

lampe de poche.

UTILISER VOTRE TAG-ALONG LIGHT

Avant la première utilisation de votre Tag-Along Light, chargez-la pendant 1 heure et demi. Utilisez le câble USB fourni pour brancher

la lumière à un ordinateur ou à un chargeur de téléphone. Une batterie entièrement chargée peut fonctionner jusqu’à 5 heures.

REMARQUE : N‘utilisez pas de turbo ou de chargeurs rapides car ils peuvent endommager votre Tag-Along Light !

REMARQUE : Si vous utilisez un chargeur de téléphone, utilisez uniquement des chargeurs fiables fournis par un fabricant de

téléphone.

Un voyant rouge devrait apparaître à côté du capteur de mouvement si votre lumière se charge correctement. Une fois la lumière

complètement chargée, le voyant rouge deviendra vert.

Votre Tag-Along Light peut être actionnée simplement en déplaçant l’interrupteur situé sur le côté de la lumière, comme indiqué ci-

dessous :

Il y a trois positions:

OFF : La lumière est éteinte et restera éteinte.

ON : La lumière s’allumera lorsque l’interrupteur sera placé sur cette position et restera allumée tant qu’elle aura de l’énergie.

AUTO avec Détection de mouvements : La lumière s’allumera lorsqu’un mouvement sera détecté dans un endroit sombre. La

lumière restera allumée tant que du mouvement sera détecté, qu’il n’y aura pas de sources lumineuses extérieures à proximité et

que la batterie aura de l’énergie. Le capteur de mouvement a une portée de 5 mètres (environ 16 pieds) et 150°.

Lorsque la batterie est déchargée, il suffit de brancher le chargeur et charger la lumière pendant 2 heures pour obtenir jusqu’à 5

heures d’utilisation.

OPTIONS DE FIXATION

Il y a plusieurs manières de fixer votre Tag-Along Light en toute sécurité.

Le support de fixation

Ce support est parfait pour la création d’une base principale pour votre Tag-Along Light. Le

support peut être monté avec le matériel de montage fourni (vis et chevilles) ou du ruban adhésif

double face. Le ruban adhésif fonctionne très bien pour les cloisons sèches ; cependant, nous

vous recommandons d’utiliser les vis et chevilles pour tout autre type de surface. Vous pouvez

placer le support de montage à proximité d’une prise électrique ou dans un placard, sur un mur

dans votre garage, ou dans n’importe quel autre endroit de votre choix.

Pour installer votre support de fixation avec le ruban adhésif double-face :

1. Décollez la partie protectrice et placez le ruban adhésif sur la partie plate du support

de fixation.

2. Placez le support de fixation à l’emplacement où vous souhaitez le fixer, appuyez et

maintenez pendant 10 secondes.

Pour installer le support de fixation avec le matériel de montage fourni :

1. Le support de fixation est fourni attaché à votre Tag-along Light. Saisissez un côté du

support de fixation et détachez-le de votre produit.

2. Mettez la partie plate du support de fixation à l’emplacement où vous voulez le monter.

Marquez le centre de chaque trou de fixation à l’aide d’un crayon.

3. Suivant l’emplacement choisi, vous aurez peut-être besoin d’une perceuse pour percer

vos trous avant d’installer vos vis et chevilles. Les chevilles devraient être utilisées sur

des cloisons sèches sans aucun montant derrière, comme du ciment, des briques ou

des surfaces similaires. Si vous décidez d’installer votre produit sur du bois ou une cloison sèche à montant, vous n’aurez

pas besoin des chevilles.

4. Si vous décidez d’installer les chevilles, enlevez le support de montage du mur et installez-les. Sinon, passez à l’étape 5.

5. Installez les vis en les passant dans les trous de votre support de fixation à l’emplacement choisi, au niveau des points

marqués à l’étape 2 ou à l’emplacement des chevilles installées à l’étape 4.

Le Crochet

Votre Tag-Along Light a un crochet inclus au dos du produit. Pour accéder au crochet :

1. Enlevez votre lumière de son support de fixation.

2. Saisissez le bord du crochet, tirez dessus et tournez à la

position désirée.

Vous pouvez utiliser le crochet pour accrocher la lumière sur des

barres, d’autres crochets, des corniches, des trous, ou des objets

saillants autour de votre maison. Avec le crochet, la lumière est

parfaite pour les casiers et armoires.

Les Aimants

Il y a deux petits aimants à l’arrière de votre Tag-Along Light que vous pouvez voir lorsque vous enlevez le support de fixation. Une

fois le support de fixation enlevé, ces aimants pourront s’accrocher à toute surface aimantée. Le support de montage doit être enlevé

pour que les aimants soient assez forts pour coller à une autre surface magnétique.

PROBLEME SOLUTIONS POSSIBLES

La lumière ne s’allume

pas lorsqu’il y a du

mouvement dans la

zone de détection.

• Vérifiez qu’il n’y a pas d’autres sources de lumière dans la zone de détection. Repositionnez

votre Tag-Along Light si besoin pour éviter d’autres sources lumineuses.

• Le détecteur de mouvement n’est pas orienté vers la zone de mouvement, repositionnez la

lumière de manière à ce que le capteur puisse détecter le mouvement.

• L’interrupteur peut être sur la mauvaise position, vérifiez qu’il est positionné sur AUTO.
