Soaking pulses (timer function)
1. Connect the appliance to the mains.
2. Fill the desired volume of water to the cooking pot (4) and add the pulses.
3. Place the cooking pot (4) in the heating unit (5) and cover it with the glass lid (1).
4. Set the timer to the desired soaking time using the “+” and “-” buttons. The “+” button increases
the timer period, the “-” button decreases it. Between 1 and 59 minutes, the timer can be made
to advance in ten-minute intervals if the button is held down. Thereafter the time is shown in
hours (1h to 9 h). Between “1h” and “9 h”, the timer can only be adjusted in hourly intervals. The
maximum timer setting is for 9 hours.
5. Press the start/pause button (B) to start the timer. The
LED lights up permanently.
6. When the selected time is over, an audible signal sound. The appliance then switches off
automatically.
7. Pull out the main plug or cook the pulses immediately.
Cooking pulses (timer function)
Pulses must be cooked in water. You can therefore use the timer function for this.
1. Connect the appliance to the mains.
2. Press the on/off button (A) to turn the appliance on. The display automatically shows 00.
3. Set the cooking time on the timer (D). The “+” button increases the cooking time, the “-” button
decreases it.
Note: The cooking time may be set to between 1 and 99 minutes.
4. Press the start/pause button (B) to begin cooking. The
LEDs light up permanently and the set
time counts down. If you press the start/pause button (B) again, cooking is interrupted. The
LEDs blink. To restart cooking, press the start/pause button (B) again.
Note: The set cooking time can be changed at any time during cooking by pressing the “+” and “-”
buttons.
5. When the set time has ended, an audible signal sound and the appliance automatically switches to
keep-warm mode for a maximum of 40 minutes. At the end of this keep-warm time, the appliance
turns itself off automatically.
Note: You can also switch off the appliance before the end of the keep-warm period by pressing
the on/off button.
6. Pull out the mains plug.
Steaming (timer function)
Add the relevant volume of water to the cooking pot (4). For reference purposes, 100ml of water
corresponds to about 30 minutes of cooking time.
Note: Wash and, where necessary, peel vegetables before steaming.
1. Fill water (see table) into the cooking pot (4) and place it in the heating unit (5).
2. Add your ingredients to the cooking insert (3) and use the handle to place it on the cooking pot (4)
with the opening facing upwards. Cover the cooking insert (3) with the glass lid (1).
Note: For even steaming, cut foods into similarly sized pieces. Connect the device to the mains.
3. Press the on/off button (A) to turn the appliance on. The display automatically shows 00.
