1. Introduction
During chemical-physical treatments of waters aimed to coagulate and precipitate pollutants, chemical coagulants are
evaluated and their dosing optimized by jar tests. In relation to the variable composition of wastewaters the chemical dosing
and the test frequency are to be adapted to local conditions. The jar test equipment manufactured by VELP is characterized
by an electronic speed control with an independent speed settable for each place in order to optimize the result of settling so
to reduce chemical consumption. FC4S and FC6S allow to pre-select 10 different speeds for each stirring point using the
relative selectors located on the front panel (10-15-30-45-60-90-120-150-200-300). The steel structure epoxy painted is
studied and tested in order to give the instrument an excellent resistance against the attack of chemical agents and
corrosion in general. The stainless steel stirring rods are adjustable in height by a self-blocking chuck. The examined
samples can be lighted by a back led lamp controlled by a switch located on front panel.
2. Assembly and installation
Upon receipt and after having removed the packaging, please check the integrity of the instrument. The box includes:
• Flocculator
• Plug for power supply • Switching VELP 100-240V/12V without plug
• Instruction manual
2.1 Electrical connection
Before connecting the instrument to the power supply, make sure that the values on the rating plate correspond to those of
the power supply. Connect the unit to the power supply using the switching.
Ensure that the socket and the relative cut-off device conform to current safety norms and easy to reach.
2.2 Start-up
Rotate the speed knob completely to the left. Place the beakers containing the sample and then, set the speed.
3. Operating controls
It’s possible to select the desired stirrer speed by the knob “Stirrer rpm” on the frontal panel. It’s possible to choose the
desired values: 10-15-30-60-90-120-150-200-300 rpm by using the information written on the analogical scale around the
knob.
At the end of the work cycle set the stirring speed knob on “0” rpm and turn off the light switch. If the instrument is not used
for a long period it’s better to disconnect the external power supply from the plug.
4. Maintenance
No routine or extraordinary maintenance is necessary apart from periodically cleaning of the unit as described in this
manual. In compliance with the product guarantee law, repairs to our units must be carried out in our factory, unless
previously agreed otherwise with local distributors. The instrument must be transported in its original packaging and any
indications present on the original packaging must be followed (e.g. palletized).
It is the responsibility of the user, to properly decontaminate the unit in case of hazardous substances remaining on the
surface or interior of the device. If in doubt about the compatibility of a cleaning or decontamination product, contact the
manufacturer or distributor.
4.1 Cleaning
Disconnect the unit from the power supply and use a cloth dampened with an non-inflammable non-aggressive detergent.

1. Introduzione
Nei trattamenti chimico fisici delle acque idonei alla coagulazione e precipitazione degli inquinanti, le sostanze chimiche per
precipitazione vengono confrontate per la loro efficacia ed i loro dosaggi ottimizzati per mezzo di prove Jar Test.
Date le caratteristiche variabili dei liquami, i dosaggi chimici e la frequenza del test devono essere adattati alle condizioni
locali. VELP ha realizzato questo apparecchio per l’esecuzione di Jar Test caratterizzato da controllo elettronico della
velocità e con impostazione indipendente dei giri per ciascuna pala, allo scopo di ottimizzare la flocculazione e quindi di
diminuire la quantità dei reagenti da impiegare. FC4S e FC6S permettono di preselezionare per ogni punto di agitazione 10
diversi regimi di velocità tramite i relativi selettori posti sul pannello frontale (10–15–30–45–60–90–120–150–200-300 rpm).
2. Montaggio ed installazione
Verificare l’integrità dello strumento al ricevimento. Gli elementi contenuti nell’imballo sono i seguenti:
• Flocculatore

• Spina UE
2.1 Collegamento alla rete elettrica
Prima di collegare l’unità alla rete di alimentazione elettrica, assicurarsi che i dati di targa dell’unità corrispondano a quelli
disponibili. Assicurarsi che sia la presa di corrente che il relativo dispositivo di sezionamento siano conformi alle norme di
sicurezza e di facile accessibilità.
2.2 Avvio
Posizionare la manopola della velocità sulla battuta di sinistra. Collocare il contenitore con il liquido e regolare la velocità di
agitazione.
3. Controlli di funzionamento
Dopo aver posizionato i contenitori con il campione sullo strumento, collegato lo strumento alla presa di rete mediante
l’apposito alimentatore di rete esterno, alimentare l’apparecchio mediante l’interruttore generale. L’accensione della
lampada avviene mediante l’apposito interruttore posto sul pannello frontale. Tramite il pannello comandi è possibile
programmare indipendentemente per ogni punto di agitazione la velocità: 10-15-30-60-90-120-150-200-300 rpm.
A fine lavoro, posizionare la manopola di regolazione velocità sulla posizione”0” e spegnere l’interruttore generale.
Nel caso lo strumento non venga utilizzato per un lungo periodo disinserire l’alimentatore dalla presa di corrente.
4. Manutenzione
La manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria non è prevista salvo la pulizia periodica dello strumento come descritto in questo
manuale. In conformità alla legge sulla garanzia dei prodotti, le riparazioni dei nostri strumenti devono essere eseguite
presso la nostra sede, salvo accordi diversi con i distributori locali. Il trasporto dello strumento tramite spedizionieri, corrieri o
altro, deve essere effettuato utilizzando l'imballo originale antiurto di cui lo strumento è dotato quando spedito da nuovo.
Seguire le istruzioni eventualmente riportate sullo stesso (es. pallettizzare).
È responsabilità dell'utente procedere alla decontaminazione dell'unità nel caso in cui sostanze pericolose rimangano sulla
superficie o all'interno del dispositivo. In caso di dubbi sulla compatibilità di un prodotto per la pulizia o la decontaminazione,
contattare il produttore o il distributore.
4.1 Pulizia
La pulizia dello strumento deve essere eseguita, dopo aver staccato l’alimentazione, con un panno inumidito con detergenti
non infiammabili e non aggressivi.

1. Introduction
Floculateurs pour exécuter Jar Test caractérisé donne un contrôle électronique de la vitesse et indépendant pour chaque
pale, dans le but d'optimiser la floculation et donc diminuer la quantité de réactifs à utiliser. FC4S et FC6S permettent de
choisir 10 régimes de vitesse différents à l'aide des boutons du panneau avant (10-15-30-45-60-90-120-150-200-300 rpm).
2. Montage et installation
Lors de la réception et après avoir enlevé l’emballage, contrôler que l’instrument est intègre La fourniture comprend:

2.1 Raccordement au réseau électrique
Avant de brancher l’instrument au réseau d’alimentation électrique, vérifier que les données de la plaque de l’instrument
correspondent aux données disponibles à la prise d’alimentation.
2.2 Mise en marche
Positionnez le bouton de réglage de la vitesse sur butée gauche. Disposez le réservoir avec le liquide et régler la vitesse
d’agitation.
3. Contrôles des opérations
Eteigner la machine. Le tableau de commande peut être programmée indépendamment pour chaque point de la vitesse
d'agitation: 10-15-30-60-90-120-150-200-300 rpm. A la fin du papier, placer le bouton de commande de vitesse sur "OFF".
Si l'instrument n'est pas utilisé pendant une longue période, débranchez-le.
4. Entretien
Aucun entretien ordinaire ou extraordinaire n’est prévu excepté le nettoyage périodique de l’instrument comme décrit dans
le présent manuel. Conformément à la loi sur la garantie des produits, les réparations de nos instruments doivent être
effectuées dans nos ateliers, sauf accords différents avec les distributeurs locaux. L'instrument doit être transporté dans son
emballage d'origine et les indications présentes sur l'emballage d'origine doivent être suivies (par exemple palettisér).
Il est de la responsabilité de l'utilisateur de décontaminer correctement l'unité en cas de substances dangereuses restant
sur la surface ou à l'intérieur de l'appareil. En cas de doute sur la compatibilité d'un produit de nettoyage ou de
décontamination, contactez le fabricant ou le distributeur.
4.1 Nettoyage
Le nettoyage de l’instrument doit être effectué après avoir débranché l’appareil, à l’aide un chiffon légèrement imbibé de
détergent non inflammable et non agressif.

1. Introducción
Floculadores para la ejecución de Jar Test caracterizado da el control electrónico de velocidad y con ajuste independiente
de las revoluciones para cada cuchilla, con el fin de optimizar la floculación y por lo tanto disminuir la cantidad de reactivos
para ser utilizado. FC4S y FC6S permiten de seleccionar para cada punto 10 regímenes de velocidad diferentes usando los
selectores del panel frontal (10-15-30-45-60-90-120-150-200-300 rpm).
2. Montaje e instalación
Al recibir el producto, quitar el embalaje y comprobar la integridad del aparato. El suministro incluye:
• Floculador
• Clavija UE para alimentador • Alimentador 100-240V/12V sin clavija
• Manual de instrucciones
2.1 Conexión a red eléctrica
Asegúrarse que las características de la placa corresponden y que la toma de corriente cumplia con las normas de
seguridad y accesibilidad.
2.2 Encendido
Verificar que el pomo de la velocidad es ajustado al mínimo (completamente a la izquierda). Colocar un recipiente para
contener la muestra y ajustar la velocidad.
3. Controles de funcionamiento
Encender la máquina mediante el interruptor. El encendido de la lámpara hace a través del interruptor de la luz adecuada
en el panel frontal. El panel de control se puede programar independientemente para cada punto de la velocidad de
agitación: 10-15-30-60-90-120-150-200-300 rpm. Al final del trabajo, coloque el pomo de control de velocidad en "OFF".
Si el instrumento no es utilizado durante un largo periodo, desconectarlo.
4. Mantenimiento
El mantenimiento ordinario y extraordinario no está previsto excepto para la limpieza periódica del aparato como se
describe en este manual. De acuerdo con la ley de garantía del producto, las reparaciones de nuestros aparatos se deben
llevar a cabo en nuestras instalaciones, a menos que se acuerde otra cosa con los distribuidores locales.
El equipo debe transportarse sólo en su embalaje original y todas las indicaciones presentes en el embalaje original debe
seguirse (por ejemplo, paletizado).
Es responsabilidad del usuario descontaminar la unidad en el caso de que haya restos de sustancias peligrosas tanto en la
superficie como en el interior del equipo. En caso de duda sobre la compatibilidad de los productos a usar para limpieza y/o
descontaminacion, contacte con su distribuidor o con fabricante.
4.1 Limpieza
La limpieza del aparato debe llevarse a cabo, después de desconectar la alimentación, con un paño húmedo con
detergentes no inflamables y no agresivos.

1. Einführung
FC S-Serie bietet elektronische Drehzahlregelung und unabhängige Einstellung der Drehzahl für jedes Blatt dadurch mit
dem Zweck der Optimierung der Flockung und damit eine Verringerung der Menge der zu verwendenden Reagenzien.
FC6S FC4S und lassen Sie für jeden Artikel 10 verschiedenen Geschwindigkeitsbereichen mit den Schalter auf der
Frontblende (10-15-30-45-60-90-120-150-200-300 rpm).
2. Montage und Installation
Bitte überprüfen Sie nach dem Auspacken den einwandfreien Zustand des Gerätes. Im Lieferumfang sind enthalten:
• Flockulator
• EU-Stecker für Netzteil • Netzteil 100-240V/12V ohne Stecker
• Bedienungsanleitung
2.1 Anschluss an das Stromnetz
Prüfen Sie bitte vor dem Anschluß an das Stromnetz, dass der Netzschalter ausgeschaltet ist und der Drehknopf auf
Linksanschlag steht. Dann können Sie das Gerät mit der Anschlußleitung an das Stromnetz anschließen.
2.2 Inbetriebnahme
Für Start und Steuerung der Schüttelbewegung bedienen Sie sich des Drehknopfes.
3. Bedienungselemente
Schalten Sie das Gerät aus. Die Zündung der Lampe durch den richtigen Lichtschalter an der Frontplatte. Die
Geschwindigkeitsbereich kann unabhängig für jeden Punkt der Rührgeschwindigkeit programmiert werden: 10-15-30-60-90-

4. Wartung

Dekontaminationsprodukts haben, wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller oder Händler.
4.1 Reinigung

1. 简介

2.1 电气连接

4. 维护
