1. Introduction
Flocculators are studied both to optimize the dosing of coagulants in order to separate the pollutions in water treatment
plants, thanks to the laboratory valuation results obtained with the so-called Jar Test.
It is possible to set the stirring speed (1) in analogical way and the stirring time (2) by knobs placed on the frontal panel.
The examined samples can be lighted by a back fluorescent lamp controlled by a switch located on front panel.
FP4 was developed for optimum use in the field; the instrument can run both connected to a normal battery and a car’s
cigarette lighter.
The steel structure epoxy painted is studied and tested in order to give to the instrument an excellent resistance to the
attack of chemical agents and to corrosion in general. The external power supply allows the instrument to be connected to
all frequencies and voltages in the world (100÷240V / 50÷60Hz).
It’s possible to select the stirring speed (20-40-50-100-200 rpm), the operating time and the lighting of central column by the
frontal panel. The stirring speed is the same for each position. It is possible to set the time of running from 0 to 30 minutes
and the central column start up. FP4 is characterized by a non-skid base so as to keep the beakers stable during operation.
2. Assembly and installation
Upon receipt and after having removed the packaging, please check the integrity of the instrument. The box includes:
• FP4 Portable Flocculator
• Plug for power supply
• Switching VELP 100-240V/12V without plug
• Instruction manual
2.1 Electrical connection
Before connecting the instrument to the power supply, make sure that the values on the rating plate correspond to those of
the power supply. Connect the unit to the power supply using the transformer supplied.
Ensure that the socket and the relative cut-off device conform to current safety norms and easy to reach.
2.2 Start-up
Rotate the speed knob completely to the left. Place the beakers containing the sample and then, set the speed and time by
turning the knobs.

3. Operating controls
It’s possible to select the desired stirrer speed by the knob “Stirrer rpm” on the frontal panel. It’s possible to choose the
desired values: 0-20-40-50-100-200 rpm by using the information written on the analogical scale around the knob.
The start-up and the selection of the running time with automatic turn off are made by the relative timer knob:
by turning un-clockwise the timer knob on the manual modality the instrument runs in continuous way;
by turning clockwise the timer knob it’s possible to select the time of running up to 30 minutes; the stirring automatically
stops as the time finishes.
At the end of the work cycle set the stirring speed knob on “0” rpm, the timer knob on “OFF” and turn off the light of central
column. If the instrument is not used for a long period it’s better to disconnect the external power supply from the plug.

4. Maintenance
No routine or extraordinary maintenance is necessary apart from periodically cleaning the unit as described in this manual.
In compliance with the product guarantee law, repairs to our units must be carried out in our factory, unless previously
agreed otherwise with local distributors. The instrument must be transported in its original packaging and any indications
present on the original packaging must be followed (e.g. palletized).
It is the responsibility of the user, to properly decontaminate the unit in case of hazardous substances remaining on the
surface or interior of the device. If in doubt about the compatibility of a cleaning or decontamination product, contact the
manufacturer or distributor.
4.1 Cleaning
Disconnect the unit from the power supply and use a cloth dampened with an non-inflammable non-aggressive detergent.

1. Introduzione
I flocculatori sono concepiti sia per l’ottimizzazione dei dosaggi di coagulanti per la separazione di inquinanti negli impianti di
depurazione di acque reflue, grazie ai risultati di valutazione in laboratorio mediante il cosiddetto Jar Test, sia per effettuare
Test di Cessione di sostanze tossiche su rifiuti solidi destinati a discarica.
Tramite manopole poste sul pannello frontale è possibile programmare la velocità di agitazione (1) in modo analogico e il
tempo di agitazione (2). Per una più facile lettura è possibile retro-illuminare il campione in esame mediante apposito
interruttore posto sul pannello frontale.
FP4 è stato sviluppato per un ottimale utilizzo su campo, infatti lo strumento è funzionante sia con alimentatore di rete in
dotazione sia collegato direttamente ad una normale batteria o all’accendisigari di una vettura.
La struttura dello strumento è realizzata in acciaio verniciato con elevata resistenza agli agenti chimici.
L’alimentatore di rete esterno permette il collegamento dello strumento a tutte le tensioni e frequenze in uso nel mondo
(100÷240V / 50÷60Hz). La particolare configurazione compatta, unita alle eccellenti prestazioni rendono lo strumento
particolarmente adatto al lavoro su campo.
E’ possibile impostare la velocità di agitazione (20-40-50-100-200 rpm) tramite manopola posta sul pannello di controllo. La
velocità di agitazione è uguale per ogni posizione. E’ possibile impostare il tempo di funzionamento da 0 a 30 minuti e
l’accensione della colonna centrale. FP4 è caratterizzato da una base antiscivolo per mantenere stabili i becher.
2. Montaggio ed installazione
Verificare l’integrità dello strumento al ricevimento. Gli elementi contenuti nell’imballo sono i seguenti:

2.1 Collegamento alla rete elettrica
Prima di collegare l’unità alla rete di alimentazione elettrica, assicurarsi che i dati di targa dell’unità corrispondano a quelli
disponibili. Assicurarsi che sia la presa di corrente che il relativo dispositivo di sezionamento siano conformi alle norme di
sicurezza e di facile accessibilità.
2.2 Avvio
Posizionare la manopola della velocità sulla battuta di sinistra. Collocare il contenitore con il liquido e regolare la velocità di
agitazione ed il tempo desiderato con le apposite manopole.

3. Controlli di funzionamento
L’avvio dell’agitazione si effettua mediante la relativa manopola sul pannello comandi “Stirrer rpm”.
E’ possibile selezionare la velocità desiderata (0-20-40-50-100-200 rpm) sfruttando le indicazioni presenti sulla scala
analogica attorno alla manopola.
L’avvio e la selezione del tempo di funzionamento con spegnimento automatico si effettua con la relativa manopola multi
giri. Ruotando la manopola in senso antiorario sulla posizione manuale (simbolo della mano) si avvia lo strumento in
modalità continua. Ruotando la manopola in senso orario è possibile è possibile selezionare il tempo desiderato di
funzionamento da 0 a 30 minuti. Allo scadere del tempo lo strumento fermerà la funzione di agitazione.
A fine lavoro, posizionare la manopola di regolazione velocità sulla posizione “0” e la manopola di selezione del tempo di
funzionamento sulla posizione “OFF”. Nel caso lo strumento non venga utilizzato per un lungo periodo disinserire
l’alimentatore dalla presa di corrente.

4. Manutenzione
La manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria non è prevista salvo la pulizia periodica dello strumento come descritto in questo
manuale. In conformità alla legge sulla garanzia dei prodotti, le riparazioni dei nostri strumenti devono essere eseguite
presso la nostra sede, salvo accordi diversi con i distributori locali. Il trasporto dello strumento tramite spedizionieri, corrieri o
altro, deve essere effettuato utilizzando l'imballo originale antiurto di cui lo strumento è dotato quando spedito da nuovo.
Seguire le istruzioni eventualmente riportate sullo stesso (es. pallettizzare).
È responsabilità dell'utente procedere alla decontaminazione dell'unità nel caso in cui sostanze pericolose rimangano sulla
superficie o all'interno del dispositivo. In caso di dubbi sulla compatibilità di un prodotto per la pulizia o la decontaminazione,
contattare il produttore o il distributore.
4.1 Pulizia
La pulizia dello strumento deve essere eseguita, dopo aver staccato l’alimentazione, con un panno inumidito con detergenti
non infiammabili e non aggressivi.

1. Introduction
A la fois léger et très robuste, ce floculateur est idéal pour les essais sur le terrain. Il comporte 4 postes.
Disposant d’un écran d’affichage LCD et de commande numérique pour le réglage de la vitesse (1) et de la minuterie (2), il
possède également une colonne d’éclairage centrale à LED pour une meilleure visibilité sans éblouissement.
Les pâles et les tiges d’agitation, résistant à la corrosion aux agressions chimiques et physiques, sont à hauteur ajustable.
FP4 peut être connecté à toutes les fréquences et les tensions dans le monde (100 ÷ 240V / 50 ÷ 60Hz).
Il est possible de sélectionner la vitesse d'agitation (20-40-50-100-200 rpm), le temps de fonctionnement et l'éclairage de la
colonne centrale par le panneau frontal. La vitesse d'agitation est le même pour chaque position. Il est possible de régler le
temps de fonctionnement de 0 à 30 minutes, et la colonne centrale de démarrage.
2. Montage et installation
Lors de la réception et après avoir enlevé l’emballage, contrôler que l’instrument est intègre La fourniture comprend:

2.1 Raccordement au réseau électrique
Avant de brancher l’instrument au réseau d’alimentation électrique, vérifier que les données de la plaque de l’instrument
correspondent aux données disponibles à la prise d’alimentation.
2.2 Mise en marche
Positionnez le bouton de réglage de la vitesse sur butée gauche. Disposez le réservoir avec le liquide et régler la vitesse
d’agitation et la durée d'utilisation.

3. Contrôles des opérations
Il est possible de sélectionner la vitesse d'agitation par le bouton "Stirrer rpm" sur le panneau frontal. Il est possible de
choisir les valeurs souhaitées: 0-20-40-50-100-200 rpm.
En tournant dans le sens non horaire le bouton de la minuterie, il est possible de fonctionner en mode continu;
en tournant dans le sens horaire le bouton de la minuterie, il est possible de choisir le temps de courir jusqu'à 30 minutes;
l'agitation s'arrête automatiquement lorsque le temps de finitions.
À la fin du cycle de travail régler le bouton de vitesse d'agitation sur "0" rpm, le bouton de la minuterie sur "OFF" et éteindre
la lumière de la colonne centrale. Si l'instrument n'est pas utilisé pendant une longue période, il est préférable de
débrancher l'alimentation externe.

4. Entretien
Aucun entretien ordinaire ou extraordinaire n’est prévu excepté le nettoyage périodique de l’instrument comme décrit dans
le présent manuel. Conformément à la loi sur la garantie des produits, les réparations de nos instruments doivent être
effectuées dans nos ateliers, sauf accords différents avec les distributeurs locaux. L'instrument doit être transporté dans son
emballage d'origine et les indications présentes sur l'emballage d'origine doivent être suivies (par exemple palettisér).
Il est de la responsabilité de l'utilisateur de décontaminer correctement l'unité en cas de substances dangereuses restant
sur la surface ou à l'intérieur de l'appareil. En cas de doute sur la compatibilité d'un produit de nettoyage ou de
décontamination, contactez le fabricant ou le distributeur.
4.1 Nettoyage
Le nettoyage de l’instrument doit être effectué après avoir débranché l’appareil, à l’aide un chiffon légèrement imbibé de
détergent non inflammable et non agressif.

1. Introducción
La elección y dosis del coagulante químico a adoptar para la remoción de sólidos suspendidos en los efluentes, es
establecida en base a los resultados de las evaluaciones realizadas en el laboratorio mediante el tradicional Jar Test.
A través de botones en el panel frontal es posible programar la velocidad de agitación (1) y el tiempo de agitación (2). Para
facilitar la lectura, se puede iluminar la muestra con el interruptor adecuado en el panel frontal.
Fp4 ha sido desarrollado para un uso del campo, de hecho, el instrumento puede trabajar tanto con el adaptador
suministrado quanto conectado directamente a una batería normal o encendedor de cigarrillos de un automóvil.
El instrumento se puede conectar a todos los voltajes y frecuencias en el mundo (100÷240V / 50÷60Hz).
Es posible seleccionar la velocidad de agitación (20-40-50-100-200 rpm), el tiempo de funcionamiento y la iluminación de la
columna central mediante el panel frontal. La velocidad de agitación es la misma para cada posición. Es posible ajustar el
tiempo de funcionamiento de 0 a 30 minutos.
2. Montaje e instalación
Al recibir el producto, quitar el embalaje y comprobar la integridad del aparato. El suministro incluye:

• Alimentador 100-240V/12V sin clavija

2.1 Conexión a red eléctrica
Asegúrarse que las características de la placa corresponden y que la toma de corriente cumplia con las normas de
seguridad y accesibilidad.
2.2 Encendido
Verificar que el pomo de la velocidad es ajustado al mínimo (completamente a la izquierda). Colocar un recipiente para
contener la muestra y ajustar la velocidad y el tiempo de funcionamiento.
2.3 Información sobre los materiales de fabricación

3. Controles de funcionamiento
Es posible seleccionar de velocidad del agitador con el pomo "Stirrer rpm", seleccionando los valores 0-20-40-50-100-200
rpm. Girando el mando del temporizador en sentido anti-horario, se ejecuta en forma continua; girando el mando del
temporizador hacia la derecha es posible seleccionar el tiempo de funcionamiento de hasta 30 minutos; la agitación se
detiene automáticamente cuando se acabe el tiempo.
Al final del ciclo de trabajo ajustar el pomo "Stirrer rpm" en "0" rpm, el botón del temporizador en "OFF" y se apagará la luz
de la columna central. Si el instrumento no es utilizado por un largo período, se recomienda de desconectarlo.

4. Mantenimiento
El mantenimiento ordinario y extraordinario no está previsto excepto para la limpieza periódica del aparato como se
describe en este manual. De acuerdo con la ley de garantía del producto, las reparaciones de nuestros aparatos se deben
llevar a cabo en nuestras instalaciones, a menos que se acuerde otra cosa con los distribuidores locales.
El equipo debe transportarse sólo en su embalaje original y todas las indicaciones presentes en el embalaje original debe
seguirse (por ejemplo, paletizado).
Es responsabilidad del usuario descontaminar la unidad en el caso de que haya restos de sustancias peligrosas tanto en la
superficie como en el interior del equipo. En caso de duda sobre la compatibilidad de los productos a usar para limpieza y/o
descontaminacion, contacte con su distribuidor o con fabricante.
4.1 Limpieza
La limpieza del aparato debe llevarse a cabo, después de desconectar la alimentación, con un paño húmedo con
detergentes no inflamables y no agresivos.

1. Einführung
Es ist möglich, die Rührgeschwindigkeit (1) und der Betriebszeit (2) durch Knöpfe zu einstellen.
Die Proben können durch eine rückseitige Leuchtstofflampe beleuchtet werden.
FP4 läuft sowohl mit einer normalen Batterie und ein Zigarettenanzünder im Auto angeschlossen.
Das Gerät kann an allen Frequenzen und Spannungen in der Welt verbunden (100÷240V / 50÷60Hz).
Es ist möglich, die Rührgeschwindigkeit (20-40-50-100-200 rpm), die Betriebszeit und die Beleuchtung der zentralen Säule
von der Frontplatte zu wählen. Die Rührgeschwindigkeit ist die gleiche für alle Positionen.
Die Zeit läuft von 0 bis 30 Minuten.
2. Montage und Installation
Bitte überprüfen Sie nach dem Auspacken den einwandfreien Zustand des Gerätes. Im Lieferumfang sind enthalten:
• Flockulator FP 4
• EU-Stecker für Netzteil
• Netzteil 100-240V/12V ohne Stecker
• Bedienungsanleitung
2.1 Anschluss an das Stromnetz
Prüfen Sie bitte vor dem Anschluß an das Stromnetz, dass der Netzschalter ausgeschaltet ist und der Drehknopf auf
Linksanschlag steht. Dann können Sie das Gerät mit der Anschlußleitung an das Stromnetz anschließen.
2.2 Inbetriebnahme
Für Start und Steuerung der Schüttelbewegung bedienen Sie sich des Drehknopfes.

3. Bedienungselemente
Es ist möglich, die gewünschte Rührgeschwindigkeit wählen: 0-20-40-50-100-200 rpm.
Das Gerät läuft im Dauerbetrieb Weg, wenn der Timer-Knopf gegen den Uhrzeigersinn gedreht wird; es läuft bis 30
Minuten, wenn der Timer-Knopf im Uhrzeigersinn gedreht wird. Das Rühren stoppt automatisch nach der Zeit beendet.
Am Ende der Arbeit, drehen Sie die Rührgeschwindigkeit Drehknopf auf "0" rpm, den Timer-Knopf auf "OFF", und das Licht
der zentralen Säule ausgeschaltet wird. Wenn das Gerät nicht über einen längeren Zeitraum verwendet werden, es ist
besser, das Gerät trennen.
4. Wartung
Abgesehen von einer regelmäßigen Reinigung gemäß der nachfolgenden Hinweise benötigt das Gerät keine gewöhnliche
oder außergewöhnliche Wartung. In Übereinstimmung mit dem Produkthaftungsgesetz müssen Reparatureingriffe an den
Geräten in unserem Hause durchgeführt werden, soweit keine anderweitigen Vereinbarungen mit den örtlichen Händlern
getroffen werden. Das Gerät muss in der Originalverpackung transportiert werden.
Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Benutzers, das Gerät ordnungsgemäß zu dekontaminieren, falls gefährliche Substanzen
auf der Oberfläche oder im Inneren des Geräts verbleiben. Wenn Sie Zweifel an der Verträglichkeit eines Reinigungs- oder
Dekontaminationsprodukts haben, wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller oder Händler.
4.1 Reinigung
Trennen Sie das Gerät zur Reinigung vom Stromnetz und verwenden Sie ein weiches Tuch mit einem sanften, nicht
entzündlichen Reiniger.
