Novonivel® 3 is a prole designed to be placed in oorings, to avoid discontinuities safely.

Novonivel® 3 is a prole made by extrusion of aluminum. This prole has been anodized, improving
mainly by this process its corrosion and mechanical resistance and its appearance.. The anodized
applied, has the quality seal “Qualanod” which guarantees the quality of the process and the resulting
proles. This seal regulates several tests: appearance and color, thickness measurements, sealing
and impregnation control, abrasion resistance, lightfastness, acetic saline chamber and nitric acid
immersion.
Aluminum is a material with excellent chemical, physical and mechanical properties. It is lightweight,
tough, ductile, malleable and highly durable.

Novonivel® 3 is a transition prole intended to avoid discontinuities
between oorings at different level. This prole protects and
decorates with the resistance and lightness of aluminum. Easy to
install, it is delivered in anodized nish, which brings a perfect and
permanent nish. Its design allows it to adapt to different heights of
tiles and to the irregularities of the ooring.

Technical information
Novonivel® 3
This prole is intended to be installed once you have nished the tiling of the ooring.
1. Clean the prole and the surface to install it before proceeding.
2. Put small amounts of thin-set mortar or adhesive, the size of a nut, along the prole in the areas that
will be in contact with the tile.
3. Align the prole with the tile and press carefully maintaining them in contact. You should take into
account the correct way of installation (see drawing below).
4. Finally, clean the leftover material and let dry.
Installation
The product must be cleaned periodically with a soft mop. If you use a neutral liquid cleaner, you must
rinse the prole with cold water and dry it to remove the humidity excess. The persistent dirtiness
can be removed by using cleaning approved agents slightly abrasive or a grid covered with polished
powder neutral. If a preserving agent is applied, as well as keep a very thin layer of water repellent, note
that it can’t be yellow,attract dust or dirt or have iridescent effects.
Steel wool, abrasive cleaners, souring products as well as strong acids (hydrochloric and
perchloric),strong bases (caustic soda or ammonia) or carbonated solutions are not recommended.
Citric acid is neither recommended because disolves the protective layer of the surface of aluminium.
Waxes, petrolatum, lanolin or similar substances are not appropriate. Solvents containing haloalkanes
(hydrouoroether and chlorinated solvents) and curing accelerators containing chlorides should not be
used (use special accelerators free of chlorides).

Novonivel® 3 can be installed in three different ways, adapting to three different heights. Ensure the
inner wing makes contact with the oor, just as it is represented in the drawing above.
To install Novonivel® 3 you can use thin-set mortar, silicones or assembly adhesives.
