Qualités
Using an ultra slippy material , these washable slide sheets allow health care professionals and
carers to position and transfer patients with ease. Patient and user friendly, they are lightweight
and durable, easy to insert and remove and can be used for repositioning up and down in bed,
turning, rotating and transferring ( dependant on size). Choose from one of seven sizes,
including a small version for placing under heels and ankles or pillows. Machine washable
up to 74 degrees, low temperature tumble dry.

Washing/Cleaning Instruction:
Washable models can be washed at 74°C. - Drip dry or tumble dry on a low/medium heat. - Can be autoclaved. - Do not iron. - Do not use
in bleach.
Make sure that the brakes are on the bed/trolley before commencing a movement.
Make sure that the sheet is inserted correctly.
Insert the sheets by either:
a.) ‘log-rolling’ the patient/client to one side (or top to bottom) b.) unrolling directly beneath the patient.
Wherever possible, ask/help the patient/client to help themselves.
Removal is best achieved by turning the outermost corners in on themselves and peeling the sheet out using
a wriggling, alternate-arm action. This eectively ‘peels’ the sheet out without creating any shearing eects
Good Practice Points:

Wichtige Tipps zur Nutzung:
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Bremsen am Bett/ Liege oder Rollstuhl festgestellt sind bevor sie mit dem Transfer des
Patienten beginnen.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gleitlaken richtig ausgebreitet wird (gleitfähige Seite nach Innen NICHT nach Außen)
Wenn möglich, bitten Sie den Patienten mitzuhelfen
Breiten sie das Gleitlaken wie folgt aus:
Entweder a) Rollen sie den Patienten zu einer Seite und breiten das Laken auf der anderen zuerst aus und umgekehrt
(oder von oben nach unten) oder b) Breiten sie es direkt unter dem Patienten aus
