Consignes de sécurité
•
Lisez attentivement le mode d’emploi avant la
première utilisation de votre appareil : une utilisation
non conforme au mode d’emploi dégagerait la marque
d
e toute responsabilité.
• Pour votre sécurité, cet appareil est conforme aux normes
et réglementations applicables (Directives Basse Tension,
Compatibilité Electromagnétique, Environnement …).
• Votre centrale vapeur est un appareil électrique : il doit
être utilisé dans des conditions normales d’utilisation.
Il est prévu pour un usage domestique uniquement.
• Il est équipé de 2 systèmes de sécurité :
- une soupape évitant toute surpression, qui en cas de
dysfonctionnement, laisse échapper le surplus de
vapeur,
- un fusible thermique pour éviter toute surchauffe.
• Branchez toujours votre centrale vapeur :
- sur une installation électrique dont la tension est
comprise entre 220 et 240 V,
- sur une prise électrique de type “terre”.
Toute erreur de branchement peut causer un
dommage irréversible et annule la garantie.
Si vous utilisez une rallonge, vérifiez que la prise est
bien de type bipolaire 16A avec conducteur de terre.
• Déroulez complètement le cordon électrique avant de
le brancher sur une prise électrique de type terre.
• Si le cordon d’alimentation électrique ou le cordon
vapeur est endommagé, il doit être impérativement
remplacé par un Centre Service Agréé afin d’éviter un
danger.
• Ne débranchez pas l’appareil en tirant sur le cordon.
Débranchez toujours votre appareil :
- avant de remplir le réservoir ou de rincer le collecteur,
- avant de le nettoyer,
- après chaque utilisation.
• L’appareil doit être utilisé et posé sur une surface stable.
L
orsque vous posez le fer sur le repose-fer, assurez-vous
que la surface sur laquelle vous le reposez est stable.
• Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des
p
ersonnes (y compris les enfants) dont les capacités
physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites, ou
des personnes dénuées d’expérience ou de
c
onnaissance, sauf si elles ont pu bénéficier, par
l’intermédiaire d’une personne responsable de leur
sécurité, d’une surveillance ou d’instructions préalables

oncernant l’utilisation de l’appareil.
• Il convient de surveiller les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils
ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.
• Ne laissez jamais l’appareil sans surveillance :
- lorsqu’il est raccordé à l’alimentation électrique,
- tant qu’il n’a pas refroidi environ 1 heure.
• La semelle de votre fer et la plaque repose-fer
du boîtier peuvent atteindre des températures très
élevées, et peuvent occasionner des brûlures :
ne les touchez pas.
Ne touchez jamais les cordons électriques avec
la semelle du fer à repasser.
• Votre appareil émet de la vapeur qui peut occasionner
des brûlures. Manipulez le fer avec précaution, surtout
en repassage vertical. Ne dirigez jamais la vapeur sur
des personnes ou des animaux.
• Avant de rincer le collecteur, attendez toujours que
la centrale vapeur soit froide et débranchée depuis plus
de 2 heures pour dévisser le collecteur.
• Si vous perdez ou abîmez le collecteur, faites-le
remplacer dans un Centre Service Agréé.
• Ne plongez jamais votre centrale vapeur dans l’eau ou
tout autre liquide. Ne la passez jamais sous l’eau du
robinet.
• L’appareil ne doit pas être utilisé s’il a chuté,
s’il présente des dommages apparents, s’il fuit ou
présente des anomalies de fonctionnement.
Ne démontez jamais votre appareil : faites-le examiner
dans un Centre Service Agréé, afin d’éviter un danger.

our transporter votre centrale vapeur par la poignée du fer :
- posez le fer sur la plaque repose-fer de la centrale vapeur et rabattez l’arceau de maintien sur le
fer jusqu’à l’enclenchement du verrouillage (identifié par un “clic” sonore) - fig.2.
-
Saisissez le fer par la poignée pour transporter votre centrale vapeur - fig.1.
Quelle eau utiliser ?
• L’eau du robinet :
V
otre appareil a été conçu pour fonctionner avec l’eau du robinet. Si votre eau est très calcaire,
mélangez 50% d’eau du robinet et 50% d’eau déminéralisée du commerce.
Dans certaines régions de bord de mer, la teneur en sel de votre eau peut être élevée. Dans ce cas,
utilisez exclusivement de l’eau déminéralisée.
• Adoucisseur :
Il y a plusieurs types d’adoucisseurs et l’eau de la plupart d’entre eux peut être utilisée dans le
générateur. Cependant, certains adoucisseurs et particulièrement ceux qui utilisent des produits
chimiques comme le sel, peuvent provoquer des coulures blanches ou brunes, c’est notamment
le cas des carafes filtrantes. Si vous rencontrez ce type de problème, nous vous recommandons
d’essayer d’utiliser de l’eau du robinet non traitée ou de l’eau en bouteille.
Une fois l’eau changée, plusieurs utilisations seront nécessaires pour résoudre le problème.
Il est recommandé d’essayer la fonction vapeur pour la première fois sur un linge usé qui peut
être jeté, afin d’éviter d’endommager vos vêtements.
S
ouvenez-vous :
N’utilisez jamais d’eau de
pluie ni d’eau contenant des
additifs (comme l’amidon,
le parfum ou l’eau des
appareils ménagers). De tels
additifs peuvent affecter les
propriétés de la vapeur et à
haute température, former
des dépôts dans la chambre
à vapeur, susceptibles de
tacher votre linge.
Préparation
Remplissez le réservoir
• Placez la centrale vapeur sur un emplacement stable et horizontal ne craignant pas la chaleur.
• Vérifiez que votre appareil est débranché et froid.
• Ouvrez le volet de remplissage du réservoir - fig.4.
• Utilisez une carafe d’eau, remplissez-la de 1,7 l d’eau maximum et remplissez le réservoir en
prenant soin de ne pas dépasser le niveau “Max” - fig.4.
• Refermez le volet de remplissage.
Fonctionnement du tableau de bord
• Voyant vert clignote - fig.5 : la chaudière chauffe.
• Voyant vert allumé : la vapeur est prête.
• Voyant rouge “réservoir d’eau” clignote - fig.10 : le réservoir est vide.
• Voyant orange “anti-calc” clignote - fig.13 : vous devez rincer le collecteur de tartre.
Mettez la centrale vapeur en marche
• Déroulez complètement le cordon électrique et sortez le cordon vapeur de son logement.
• Rabattez l’arceau de maintien du fer sur l’avant pour débloquer le cran de sureté - fig.3.
• Branchez votre centrale vapeur sur une prise électrique de type “terre”.
• Appuyez sur l’interrupteur lumineux marche/arrêt. Il s’allume et la chaudière chauffe :
le voyant vert situé sur le tableau de bord clignote - fig.5.
Quand le voyant vert reste allumé (après 2 minutes environ), la vapeur est prête.
• Après une minute environ, et régulièrement à l’usage, la pompe électrique équipant votre
appareil injecte de l’eau dans la chaudière. Cela génère un bruit qui est normal.
Durant la première utilisation,
il peut se produire un
dégagement de fumée et une
odeur sans nocivité.
Ce phénomène sans
conséquence sur l’utilisation
de l’appareil disparaîtra
rapidement.
Repassez à la vapeur
• Placez le bouton de réglage de température du fer sur le type de tissu à repasser (voir tableau ci-dessous).
• Le voyant du fer s’allume - fig.9. Attention : l’appareil est prêt lorsque le voyant du fer s’éteint et
que le voyant vert situé sur le tableau de bord reste fixe.
• Réglez le débit de vapeur (bouton de réglage situé sur le tableau de bord).
• Pendant le repassage, le voyant situé sur le fer s’allume et s’éteint selon les besoins de
chauffe, sans incidence sur l’utilisation.
• Pour obtenir de la vapeur, appuyez sur la commande vapeur située sous la poignée du fer
- fig.6. La vapeur s’arrête en relâchant la commande.
• Si vous utilisez de l’amidon, pulvérisez-le à l’ envers de la face à repasser.
Utilisation
Ne posez jamais le fer sur
un repose-fer métallique,
ce qui pourrait l’abîmer
mais plutôt sur la plaque
repose-fer du boîtier : elle
est équipée de patins anti-
dérapants et a été conçue
pour résister à des
températures élevées.

Réglez la température
• Réglage du bouton de température du fer - fig.9 :
- Commencez d’abord par les tissus qui se repassent à basse température et terminez par ceux
qui supportent une température plus élevée (••• ou Max).
- Si vous repassez des tissus en fibres mélangées, réglez la température de repassage sur la fibre
la plus fragile.
- Si vous repassez des vêtements en laine, appuyez juste sur la commande vapeur du fer par
impulsions - fig.6, sans poser le fer sur le vêtement. Vous éviterez ainsi de le lustrer.
• Réglage du bouton de débit de vapeur :
- Si vous repassez un tissus épais, augmentez le débit de vapeur.
- Si vous repassez à basse température, réglez le bouton de débit de vapeur sur la position mini.
MODE ECO :
Votre centrale vapeur est équipée d’un mode ECO qui consomme moins d’énergie tout en garantissant un débit vapeur suffisant pour un
repassage efficace. Pour cela, une fois le thermostat de votre fer correctement réglé (cf tableau ci-dessus), positionnez le réglage du débit
vapeur sur le segment ECO
- fig.12
. Le mode ECO peut être utilisé sur tous les types de tissus, toutefois pour les tissus très épais ou très
froissés, nous vous recommandons d’utiliser le débit vapeur maximum pour garantir un résultat optimal.
Repassez à sec
• N’appuyez pas sur la commande vapeur.
Défroissez verticalement
• Réglez le bouton de température du fer et le bouton de réglage du débit de vapeur sur la position maxi.
• Suspendez le vêtement sur un cintre et tendez légèrement le tissu d’une main.
La vapeur produite étant très chaude, ne défroissez jamais un vêtement sur une personne, mais
toujours sur un cintre.
• Appuyez sur la commande vapeur - fig.6 par intermittence en effectuant un mouvement de
haut en bas - fig.8.
Remplissez le réservoir en cours d’utilisation
• Quand le voyant rouge “réservoir vide” clignote - fig.10, vous n’avez plus de vapeur. Le réservoir d’eau est vide.
• Débranchez la centrale vapeur. Ouvrez le volet de remplissage du réservoir - fig.4.
• Utilisez une carafe d’eau, remplissez-la de 1,7 l d’eau maximum et remplissez le réservoir en prenant
soin de ne pas dépasser le niveau “Max” du réservoir - fig.4.
• Refermez le volet de remplissage.
• Rebranchez la centrale vapeur. Appuyez sur la touche “OK” de redémarrage - fig.11, située sur le tableau
de bord, pour poursuivre votre repassage. Quand le voyant vert reste allumé, la vapeur est prête.
Fonction Power Zone (selon modèle)
• Votre appareil est équipé de la fonction Power Zone : une vapeur concentrée à la pointe
de la semelle, à utiliser en particulier pour un repassage ciblé des plis récalcitrants, des
détails et des zones difficiles d'accès.
• Pour utiliser cette fonction, appuyez à fond sur la touche Power Zone située au dessus du
fer, aussi souvent que nécessaire

Lors de la première
utilisation ou si vous n’avez
pas utilisé la vapeur depuis
quelques minutes : appuyez
plusieurs fois de suite sur la
commande vapeur - fig.6 en
dehors de votre linge. Cela
permettra d’éliminer l’eau
froide du circuit de vapeur.
Pour les tissus autres que le
lin ou le coton, maintenez le
fer à quelques centimètres
afin de ne pas brûler le tissu.

Détartrez facilement votre centrale vapeur :
Pour prolonger la durée de vie de votre centrale vapeur et éviter les rejets de tartre, votre
centrale vapeur est équipée d’un collecteur de tartre intégré. Ce collecteur, placé dans la cuve, récupère
automatiquement le tartre qui se forme à l’intérieur.
Principe de fontionnement :
• Un voyant orange “anti-calc” clignote au tableau de bord pour vous indiquer qu’il faut rincer le
collecteur - fig.13.
Attention cette opération ne doit pas être effectuée tant que la centrale vapeur n’est pas
débranchée depuis plus de deux heures et n’est pas complètement froide. Pour effectuer cette
opération, la centrale vapeur doit se trouver près d’un évier car de l’eau peut couler de la cuve
lors de l’ouverture.
• Une fois la centrale vapeur complètement refroidie, retirer le cache collecteur de tartre - fig.14.
• Dévissez complètement le collecteur et retirer le du boitier, il contient le tartre accumulé dans la cuve
- fig.15 et fig.16.
• Pour bien nettoyer le collecteur il suffit de le rincer à l’eau courante pour éliminer le tartre qu’il contient
- fig.16.
• Remettez le collecteur dans son logement en le revissant complètement, pour assurer l’étanchéité - fig.17.
• Remettez le cache collecteur de tartre en place - fig.18.
Lors de la prochaine utilisation appuyer sur la touche “OK” située sur le tableau de bord pour
éteindre le voyant orange “anti-calc” - fig.11.
N‘introduisez pas de
produits détartrants
(vinaigre, détartants
industriels...) pour
rincer la chaudière :
ils pourraient
l’endommager.
Avant de procéder à la
vidange de votre
centrale vapeur, il est
impératif de la laisser
refroidir pendant plus
de 2 heures, pour
éviter tout risque de
brûlure.
Entretien et nettoyage
Nettoyez votre centrale vapeur
• N’utilisez aucun produit d’entretien ou de détartrage pour nettoyer la semelle ou le boîtier.
•
Ne passez jamais le fer ou son boîtier sous l’eau du robinet.
• Nettoyez régulièrement la semelle avec une éponge non métallique.
•
Nettoyez de temps en temps les parties plastiques à l’aide d’un chiffon doux légèrement humide.
Astuce : Pour un nettoyage plus
facile et non agressif pour la semelle
d
e votre fer, utilisez une éponge
humide sur la semelle encore tiède.
Rangez la centrale vapeur
• Eteignez l’interrupteur marche / arrêt et débranchez la prise.
• Posez le fer sur la plaque repose-fer de la centrale vapeur.
• Rabattez l’arceau de maintien sur le fer jusqu’au “Clic” de verrouillage - fig.2. Votre fer sera ainsi bloqué en
toute sécurité sur son boîtier.
• Rangez le cordon électrique dans son logement - fig.19.
• Rangez le cordon vapeur dans la glissière de rangement. Saisissez le cordon, pliez-le en deux de manière à
former une boucle. Insérez l’extremité de cette boucle dans la glissière puis poussez lentement jusqu’à voir
apparaître l’extremité du cordon de l’autre côté de la glissière - fig.20.
• Laissez refroidir la centrale vapeur avant de la ranger si vous devez la stocker dans un placard ou un espace étroit.
• Vous pouvez ranger votre centrale vapeur en toute sécurité.
Problèmes Causes possibles Solutions
La centrale vapeur ne s’allume pas ou le
voyant du fer et l’interrupteur lumineux
marche/arrêt ne sont pas allumés.
L’appareil n’est pas sous tension. Vérifiez que l’appareil est bien branché sur
une prise en état de marche et qu’il est sous
tension (interrupteur marche/arrêt lumineux
allumé).
L’eau coule par les trous de la semelle. Vous utilisez de la vapeur alors que votre
fer n’est pas suffisamment chaud.
Vérifiez le réglage du thermostat et du
débit de vapeur. Attendez que le voyant
du fer soit éteint avant d’actionner la
commande vapeur.
L’eau s’est condensée dans les tuyaux car
vous utilisez la vapeur pour la première
fois ou vous ne l’avez pas utilisée depuis
quelques temps.
Appuyez sur la commande vapeur en
dehors de votre table à repasser, jusqu’à
ce que le fer émette de la vapeur.
Un problème avec votre centrale vapeur ?

Reportez-vous à nos conseils sur le
réglage des températures.
Votre linge n’a pas été rincé
suffisamment ou vous avez repassé un
nouveau vêtement avant de le laver.
Assurez vous que le linge est suffisamment
rincé pour supprimer les éventuels dépôts
de savon ou produits chimiques sur les
nouveaux vêtements.
Vous utilisez de l’amidon. Pulvérisez toujours l’amidon sur l’envers
de la face à repasser.
Il y a peu ou pas de vapeur.
Le réservoir est vide (voyant rouge clignote).
Remplissez le réservoir.
Le débit de vapeur est réglé au minimum. Augmentez le débit de vapeur.
La température de la semelle est réglée
au maximum.
La centrale vapeur fonctionne
normalement mais la vapeur, très
chaude, est sèche, donc moins visible.
De la vapeur sort autour du collecteur. Le collecteur est mal serré. Resserrez le collecteur.
Le joint du collecteur est endommagé. Contactez un Centre Service Agréé.
L’appareil est défectueux. N’utilisez plus la centrale vapeur et
contactez un Centre Service Agréé.
Le voyant rouge “réservoir d’eau vide”
clignote.
Vous n’avez pas appuyé sur la touche
“OK” de redémarrage.
Appuyez sur la touche “OK” de
redémarrage située sur le tableau de
bord jusqu’à l’extinction du voyant.
De la vapeur ou de l’eau sortent au-
dessous de l’appareil.
L’appareil est défectueux. N’utilisez plus la centrale vapeur et

Le voyant “anti calc” clignote. Vous n’avez pas appuyé sur la touche
“OK” redémarrage.
Appuyez sur la touche “OK” de

bord jusqu’à l’extinction du voyant.

• For your safety, this appliance conforms to the applicable
s
tandards and regulations (Low Voltage, Electomagnetic
Compatibility, Environmental Directives, as applicable...).
• Your steam generator is an electrical appliance. It should be
used under normal conditions. It is intended for domestic
use only.
• Your generator is fitted with 2 safety systems:
- a pressure release valve which, in the event of a
malfunction, releases any excess steam;
- a thermal fuse to prevent the appliance from overheating.
• Always plug your steam generator into:
- an electrical installation with voltage between 230V and
240V.
- an earthed socket.
Connecting to the wrong voltage may cause irreparable
damage to the appliance and will invalidate your
guarantee.
• If you are using a mains extension lead, ensure that it is
correctly rated (16A) with an earth, and is fully extended.
• Completely unwind the power cord from its storage space
before connecting to an earthed socket.
• If the electric power cord or the iron-unit is damaged, it
must be replaced by an Approved Service Centre in order to
prevent any danger.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including

capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
• Never leave the appliance unattended:
- when it is connected to the mains,
- until it has cooled down (around 1 hour).
• The soleplate and generator iron-rest can become very hot
and cause burns: never touch these parts. Never touch the
electric cords with the soleplate of the iron.
• Your appliance gives off steam which can cause burns.
Handle your iron carefully, particularly when using the
vertical steam function. Never direct the steam towards
persons or animals.
• Before unscrewing the anti-scale valve cap, wait until the
generator is cold (unplugged for more than 2 hours).
• If you lose or damage the anti-scale valve cap, have it
replaced by an approved Service Centre.
• Never immerse your steam generator in water or any other
liquid. Never hold it under the water tap.
• The appliance must not be used if it has fallen to the floor,
shows evidence of damage, leaks or fails to function
correctly. Never dismantle your appliance. To avoid any
danger, have it inspected in an approved service centre.
Locking system for retaining the iron on the base - Lock-system

To transport your steam generator using the handle of the iron:
- place the iron in position on the housing plate on the steam generator
a
nd fold the hoop over the iron until it locks into position (you will hear a “click”) - fig.2.
- Hold the iron by the handle to transport your steam generator - fig.1.
What water may be used?
•
Tap water:
Your appliance has been designed to function using untreated tap water. If your
water is very hard, we recommend you use a mix of 50% untreated tap water and
50% distilled water available in most shops.
• Types of water not to use:
Heat concentrates the elements contained in water during evaporation. The types of
water listed below may contain organic waste, mineral or chemical elements that can
cause spitting, brown staining or premature wear of the appliance: water from
clothes dryers, scented or softened water, water from refrigerators, batteries, air
conditioners, rain water, boiled, filtered or bottled water. These types of water should
not be used in your TEFAL iron. Also only use distilled water as advised above.
Always remember:
Never use rainwater or
water containing additives
(like starch, fragrance or
water from domestic
appliances). Such additives
can affect the steam
properties and at high
temperature, form deposits
in the steam generator
chamber which are likely to
stain your washing.
Preparation
Filling the water tank
• Place the steam generator on a stable, horizontal and heat-resistant surface.
• Ensure that your steam generator is unplugged and that the soleplate and the iron
rest have cooled down.
• Open the water tank filler cover - fig.4.
• Pour in untreated tap water up to the max mark (1,7 l) - fig.4.
• Close the water tank filler cover.
Operating the control panel
• Green light flashes: the boiler heats up - fig.5.
• Green light on: the steam is ready.
•
"Water tank empty" red warning light is flashing
: the water tank is empty - fig.10.
• The orange “anti-calc” indicator flashes - fig.13: you need to rinse the scale collector.
Switch on the steam generator
• Completely unwind the power cord and the steam cord from its storage space.
• Lower the retaining hoop (depending on model) to unlock the safety catch - fig.3.
• Plug your steam generator into a mains socket.
• Press on the on / off switch. The green light (located on the control panel) flashes
and the boiler heats up - fig.5.
When the green “steam ready” light stops flashing (after 2 minutes
approximately), the appliance is ready.
• When starting, and regularly while it is being used, your steam generator's electric
pump injects water into the boiler. It makes a noise but this is quite normal. You may
also hear a clicking noise which is the steam valve opening. Again this is normal.
The first time the appliance is
used, there may be some
fumes and smell but this is
not harmful. They will not
affect use and will disappear
rapidly.
Steam ironing
• Place the iron's temperature control dial according to the type of fabric to be ironed
(see table below).
• The thermostat light comes on - fig.9. Be careful! The steam generator is ready when
the thermostat light goes out and when the green “steam ready” light stays on.
• Adjust the steam output control dial (located on the control panel).
•
When the iron is in use, the iron thermostat light on the iron comes on and goes off
according to the soleplate temperature requirement without this having any effect on
the use of the appliance.
• To obtain steam, press on the steam control button under the iron handle and keep it
pressed - fig.6. The steam will stop when you release the button.
• Always spray starch onto the reverse side of the fabric to be ironed.

Setting the temperature
• Iron temperature setting - fig.9:
- Start with the fabrics to be ironed at a low temperature (•) and finish with those which need
higher temperatures (••• or Max).
- Mixed fibre fabric: set the ironing temperature to the setting for the most delicate fabric.
- Woollen garments: press repeatedly on the steam control button - fig.6 to obtain short bursts
of steam, without placing the iron on the garment itself.
• Steam output setting:
- Thick fabric: increase the steam setting.
- At a low temperature : set the steam output control dial to the low position.
MODE ECO:
Your steam generator iron has an ECO mode function which uses less power whilst still guaranteeing a sufficient steam flow for you to
iron your garments properly. In order to use this function, once the thermostat of your iron has been correctly set (see table above),
position the steam flow setting on the ECO segment - fig.12. The ECO mode can be used on all types of fabrics, however, for very thick
or very creased fabrics, we recommend that you use the maximum steam flow for best results.
Dry ironing
• Do not press the steam control button under the iron handle.
Vertical steam ironing
• Set the iron temperature control slide and the steam output control dial (located on the control
panel) to the MAX position.
• Hang the garment on a coat hanger and hold the fabric slightly taut with one hand.
As steam is very hot: never attempt to remove creases from a garment while it is being
worn, always hang garments on a coat hanger.
• Holding the iron in a vertical position - fig.6, tilted slightly forwards, press repeatedly on the
steam control button (underneath the iron handle) moving the iron from top to bottom - fig.8.
Refilling the water tank
• When the “tank empty” red warning light flashes - fig.10, it means that you have no more
steam. The water tank is empty.
• Unplug the steam generator. Open the tank filler flap - fig.4.
Fill the water tank up without exceeding the MAX level - fig.4.
• Close the water tank filler cover.
• Plug in the steam generator. Press the “OK” button - fig.11, on the control panel to continue ironing.
When the green indicator remains lit, the steam is ready.
Power Zone Function (according to model)
• Your appliance includes the Power Zone function: concentrated steam shot at the tip of the soleplate, to be used in particular
to target stubborn creases, detailing and zones that are difficult to access.
• To use this function, press the Power Zone function on top of the iron as often as necessary
- fig.7

Easy descaling of your steam generator:
To extend the life of your steam generator and avoid scale on your ironing, your steam
generator is equipped with a built-in scale collector. This valve, located in the tank,
automatically removes the scale that forms inside.
Operation:
• An orange “anti-scale” light located on the control panel starts blinking to tell you that the anti-scale
valve needs rinsing - fig.13.
Important: This operation must not be carried out unless the steam generator has been
unplugged for at least two hours and has cooled down completely.
To carry out this operation, the steam generator must be close to a sink as water may come
out of the tank when it is opened.
• Once the steam generator has cooled down completely, remove the scale collector cover - fig.14.
• Unscrew the anti-scale valve and remove it from the housing; it contains the scale that has built up
in the tank - fig.15 and fig.16.
• To clean the valve properly, just rinse it under running water to remove the scale it contains - fig.16.
• Put the valve back into its housing and screw it in completely to keep it watertight - fig.17.
• Refit the scale collector cover - fig.18.
The next time you use your iron, press and hold the "OK" button on the control panel for a
few seconds to turn off the orange "anti-scale" light - fig.11.
Do not use any
descaling substances
(vinegar, industrial
descaling products, etc.)
when rinsing the anti-
scale valve :
they could damage it.
Before emptying your
steam generator, it
must always be left to
cool for 2 hours to avoid
any risks of scalding.
Maintenance and cleaning
Cleaning your steam generator
• Do not use detergent or descaling products for cleaning the soleplate base-unit.
• Never hold the iron or the base unit under the tap.
•
Empty and rinse the removable water tank.
• Clean the plastic parts of the appliance occasionally with a soft cloth.
Tip: for easy, non-aggressive
cleaning of the sole plate of your
i
ron, use a damp sponge to clean
the sole plate while it is still warm.
Storing the steam generator
• Press the illuminated on/off switch and unplug the generator.
• Place the iron on the housing plate on the steam generator.
• Raise the retaining hoop over the iron until it locks into place (audible click) - fig.2.
• Your iron is then safely retained on its base. Warning: do not touch the soleplate while still hot.
• Store the steam cord in its slide storage place - fig.19. Take it, fold it in two so as to make a loop. Put the
end of this loop in the slide storage place then push gently until you see the end on the other side of the
slide storage place - fig.20.
• Leave the steam generator to cool for at least one hour before putting it away if it is to be stored in a
cupboard or confined space.
• You can store the steam generator in complete safety.
PROBLEMS CAUSES SOLUTIONS
The steam generator does not switch on
or the iron indicator and ON/OFF
indicator do not switch on.
The appliance is not switched on. Check that your appliance is correctly
plugged in and press the illuminated
on/off switch.
Water runs out of the holes in the
soleplate.
The soleplate is not hot enough. Decrease the steam output while ironing
at low temperature (steam output control
dial on the control panel). Wait for the
thermostat light to go out before
activating the steam control button.
Your thermostat is faulty: the iron is not
hot enough.

Νερό βρύσης:
Η
συσκευή σας σχεδιάστηκε για να λειτουργεί με νερό της βρύσης. Αν το νερό σας
είναι πολύ σκληρό, αναμίξτε 50% νερό της βρύσης και 50% απιονισμένο νερό του
εμπορίου. Σε κάποιες παραθαλάσσιες περιοχές, η περιεκτικότητα του νερού σε
άλατα μπορεί να είναι υψηλή. Σε αυτή την περίπτωση, χρησιμοποιήστε
αποκλειστικά απιονισμένο νερό.

Αποσκληρυντικό νερού
Υπάρχουν πολλοί τύποι αποσκληρυντικών νερού που μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθούν
στην κεντρική μονάδα ατμού. Ωστόσο, ορισμένα αποσκληρυντικά νερού, ιδιαίτερα
όσα χρησιμοποιούν χημικά προϊόντα όπως το αλάτι, είναι δυνατό να προκαλέσουν
λευκού ή καφετί λεκέδες, ιδίως στην περίπτωση των φίλτρων νερού. Αν συναντήσετε
αυτό το πρόβλημα, σας συνιστούμε να χρησιμοποιήσετε ακατέργαστο νερό βρύσης
ή εμφιαλωμένο νερό. Μόλις αλλαχτεί το νερό, θα απαιτούνται πολλές χρήσεις για να
λυθεί το πρόβλημα. Συνιστάται να δοκιμάσετε τη λειτουργία ατμού για πρώτη φορά

ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΑ ECO:
Η γεννήτρια ατμού διαθέτει λειτουργία ECO, η οποία καταναλώνει λιγότερη ενέργεια εγγυούμενη ταυτόχρονα την παραγωγή
επαρκούς ατμού για αποτελεσματικό σιδέρωμα. Γι' αυτό, αν ρυθμιστεί σωστά ο θερμοστάτης του σίδερού σας (βλ. παραπάνω
πίνακα), τοποθετήστε τη ρύθμιση της παραγωγής ατμού στη θέση ECO
fig.12
.
Η λειτουργία ECO μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί με όλα τα υφάσματα, ωστόσο για τα πολύ χοντρά ή τα πολύ τσαλακωμένα
υφάσματα σάς συνιστούμε να χρησιμοποιήσετε τη μέγιστη παροχή ατμού, για σίγουρα άριστα αποτελέσματα.

Μην πιζετε το διακπτη ατµο που βρσκετε πνω στη λαβ του σδερου.

Tοποθετστε το πλκτρο ρθµιση τη θερµοκρασα του σδερου και το πλκτρο ρθµιση
τη παροχ ατµο στη θση maxi.
Κρεµστε το ροχο σε ναν καλγερο και τραβτε ελαφρ το φασµα µε το να χρι.
Ο παραγµενο ατµ εναι πολ καυτ: µην σιδερνετε ποτ κθετα να ροχο πνω σε
να τοµο, αλλ πντα πνω στον καλγερο.

Η συσκευή σας διαθέτει τη λειτουργία Power Zone: ατμός που συγκεντρώνεται στην αιχμή
της πλάκας, για χρήση ειδικά για στοχευμένο σιδέρωμα των δύσκολων πιετών, των
λεπτομερειών και των περιοχών με δύσκολη πρόσβαση.
Για να χρησιμοποιήσετε αυτή τη λειτουργία, πατήστε εντελώς το πλήκτρο Power Zone, το
οποίο βρίσκεται στο επάνω μέρος του σίδερου, όσο συχνά χρειάζεται

Καθαρισµ του ατµοσδερου
Μην χρησιµοποιετε καννα προν συντρηση αφαρεση αλτων για να
κ
αθαρσετε την πλκα τη βση.
Μην τοποθετετε ποτ το σδερο τη βση κτω απ νερ βρση.
Kαθαρστε την κρα πλκα του σδερο σα µε να υγρ παν να σφουγγρι που δεν
εναι µεταλλικ.
Kαθαρστε αν τακτ χρονικ διαστµατα τα πλαστικ µρη τη συσκευ µε να
µαλακ παν.
Εκολη αφαλτωση του ατµοσδερου:
Για να παρατενετε τη διρκεια ζω του ατµοσδερο σα και να αποφγετε τι εκκρσει των
επικαθµενων αλτων, το ατµοσδερο διαθτει ενσωµατωµνο συλλκτη αλτων. Ο συλλκτη αυτ,
ο οποο βρσκεται πνω στο δοχεο, µαζεει αυτµατα τα λατα που σχηµατζονται στο εσωτερικ.
Αρχ λειτουργα:
Μια πορτοκαλ νδειη anticalc αρχζει να αναβοσβνει στον πνακα οργνων
επισηµανοντ σα τι πρπει να επλνετε το συλλκτη

Προσοχ: αυτ η διαδικασα πρπει να εκτελεστε µνο αφο χει αποσυνδεθε
το ατµοσδερο απ το ρεµα για δο ρε και χει κρυσει εντελ. Για να
εκτελσετε τη διαδικασα αυτ, το ατµοσδερο πρπει να βρσκεται κοντ σε
νεροχτη καθ το νερ µπορε να τρει απ τον κδο κατ το νοιγµα.
Αφο κρυσει εντελ το ατµοσδερο, αφαιρστε τον συλλκτη αλτων

Ξεβιδστε τελεω το συλλκτη αλτων και βγλτε τον απ τη βση. Περιχει τα λατα που
συσσωρετηκαν µσα στο δοχεο

Για να καθαρσετε καλ το συλλκτη αλτων, επλνετ τον απλ στη βρση για να βγλετε
τα λατα που περιχει

Ξανατοπoθετετε το καπκι του συλλκτη αλτων πσω στη θση του

Αποθκευση του ατµοσδερου
Σταµατστε τη λειτουργα τη γενντρια ατµο µε τον φωτειν διακπτη λειτουργα ON/OFF και
αποσυνδστε την απ το ρεµα.
Tοποθετστε το σδερο πνω στη βση του.
Ανασηκνετε το γκιστρο ασφλιση µχρι να ακοσετε το κλικ

καλωδου και πιστε για να επιστρψει το εκαµπτο µρο µσα στη βση.
Αποθηκεετε το καλδιο ατµο στη θση αποθκευση του που βρσκεται στο πλι τη συσκευ. ∆ιπλστε το στα
2 στε να δηµιουργηθε µα θηλι. Tοποθετετε την κρη τη θηλι στη θση αποθκευση και µετ πιστε απαλ
στε να δετε την κρη στην λλη πλευρ τη θση αποθκευση

Αφστε το ατµοσδερο να κρυσει προτο το φυλετε, σε περπτωση που επιθυµετε να το αποθηκεσετε σε
ντουλπι στεν χρο.
Μπορετε να αποθηκεσετε το ατµοσδερο σα.

Η συσκευ δεν εναι συνδεδεµνη στο
ρεµα.
Bεβαιωθετε τι η συσκευ εναι σωστ
συνδεδεµνη στο ρεµα και πατστε τον
φωτειν διακπτη λειτουργα ON/OFF.
Tρχει νερ απ τι οπ τη πλκα. Η πλκα δεν εναι αρκετ ζεστ. Ελαχιστοποιστε την παροχ ατµο ταν
σιδερνετε σε χαµηλ θερµοκρασα
(πλκτρο ρθµιση που βρσκεται πνω
στον πνακα οργνων). Περιµνετε ω
του η νδειη του σδερου σβσει
προτο χρησιµοποισετε τον διακπτη
ατµο.
Ο θερµοσττη σα χει απορυθµιστε:η
θερµοκρασα εναι πντα υπερβολικ

พื่อความปลอดภัยของท่าน เครื่องใช้นี้เป็นไปตามกฎข้อบังคับทางเทคนิคและมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยที่มี ผลบังคับใช้ในปัจจุบัน
(แรงดันต่ำ ความเข้ากันได้ทางแม่เหล็กไฟฟ้า สภาวะแวดล้อม...).
• เตารีดไอน้ำของท่านเป็นเครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้า ควรใช้ภายใต้สภาวะปกติ โดยออกแบบมาเพื่อให้ใช้ภายในอาคารเท่านั้น.

เตารีดไอน้ำของท่านประกอบไปด้วยระบบรักษาความปลอดภัย 2 ระบบ:

วาล์วนิรภัยป้องกันความดันสูงเกินกำหนด จะทำหน้าที่ระบายไอน้ำส่วนเกินออกกรณีที่เตารีดทำงานผิดปกติ;

ฟิวส์ความร้อนป้องกันอุณหภูมิที่สูงเกินไปของเตารีด้

• เสียบปลั๊กเตารีดไอน้ำเข้ากับ:
- ระบบไฟที่มีแรงดันระหว่าง 220V และ 240V
- ควรเป็นเต้ารับที่มีการต่อสายดิน
หากต่อเข้ากับแรงดันไฟฟ้าที่ไม่ถูกต้องอาจก่อให้เกิดความเสียหายต่อเครื่องโดยไม่อาจซ่อมแซมได้
และทำให้การรับประกันเป็นโมฆะ หากคุณใช้ปลั๊กพ่วงควรตรวจสอบให้แน่ใจว่ามีอัตราการทนกระแสไฟที่ถูกต้อง (16A)
และควรต่อเข้ากับสายดิน
• ดึงม้วนสายไฟออกจากที่เก็บก่อนต่อเข้ากับสายดิน
